“I’m sorry, X. I don’t love you.” Those seven words broke X like a bullet going through a window. It shattered him. X fumbled for words, tears welling in his eyes. “But why?..” his robotic heart ached, he didn’t understand this at all. Zero looked down, uncomfortably playing with his ponytail as X stared at them with those oh so big eyes he used to love. “I.. I found a new person.” He stated, furrowing his brow. “...Who?” X stared, trying his best to hold back those tears because he knew if he started, he wouldn’t be able to hold back the waterfall of tears. Zero cautiously dug something from his ponytail. It was white, held a shape that was odd, a gem? No wait, was that?... “Are you fucking serious right now.” X swore, he rarely swore but no way in the moon above did Zero dig out an EGG from his ponytail. “You better be joking.” X shouted, anger quickly running rampant over his tears. Zero frowned, a serious look on his face. “I am serious, me and Eggetha are in love.” the Maverick Hunter said, his blue eyes gazing down at the shiny egg adorned in a little sweater and a hat. “She speaks to me, X. She loves me in such a way it makes me feel like my robot heart has reached the stars.” Zero smiled fondly at the egg. “Zero, you better run before you die with that egg.” X held a grimace, eye twitching as he got into a stance ready to pounce. Zero quickly ran off, egg in his hands as if he were carrying something precious. X didn’t waste time, charging after him like screaming, ready to throw that wench of a husband stealing egg. Red and blue rushed down halls screaming and yelling, arguments going back and forth as they ran around like human children playing keep away. “Give me the damn egg!” X yelled, getting closer and closer to getting Zero. The red hunter yelled loudly, “You’re just jealous, me and Eggetha are happy!” his voice boomed above the chaos as he picked the pace up. Zero wasn’t about to lose his new lover here to his once beloved X, not now. Zero and X went back and forth in screaming and shouting as Zero rushed past others and slid across floors to protect his darling of the day. Blue steel raged, fury rising from X as he finally gave up. “Fine, keep that stupid egg!” X screamed, tears finally struggling out. His heart was shattered, and there was nothing he could but weep as he watched his once knight of the red dawn walk away with his new lover, Eggetha.

It had been days since the ‘egg’ accident, X couldn’t bring himself to be sad over it anymore, Zero had chosen his lover, and it wasn’t him. X sighed softly, thinking about it made his brain hurt still. What was the point of emotions if it’d always end up in sorrow and hurt? No, he couldn’t think about that. If he didn’t have feelings, how could he feel bad for his friends? How could he feel sad for them? How could he feel the joys of life if he didn’t have emotions? Emotions, both a burden and a joy. Metal footsteps were heard throughout the halls as he walked around, attempting to calm his mind, though he picked up a sound. Loud weeping. X perked up, rushing to find whichever friend was weeping, they needed comfort, and he’d be there to provide it. Except, when he arrived he found Axl patting Zero’s back, Zero’s head in his hands as he sobbed. “What happened?” X looked over at Axl, who was nervously making hand gestures. “He ate his wife.” X paused, what. “Exquease me?” He said, eyes wide as he tried to contact his laughter. “He ate Eggetha.” Axl repeated, grinning a bit. Zero loudly wailed as he heard them, practically crying a river, “She just– She smelt so good! She was so soft–.. WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOR!” He shouted, sobbing as he sat there. X laughed, wiping a tear as he shifted. “Axl, hun, I need you to move over for your safety.” Axl understood the assignment immediately. The black Maverick Hunter moved to the sidelines, grinning as he got his internal video taping systems ready, this was going to be GOLD. Zero looked up, teary eyed as he saw the blue frame approach him, eye twitching. X swung, and it landed. Zero yelped, trying to wriggle away but was quickly caught off-gaurd by X fucking walloping him over and over again.
