Chances to go on shore leave with both Jim and Spock are a blessing. It's difficult to get either of them to go on any sort of leave at all.
Leonard, for one, relishes the chance to get any sort of shore leave, except for the fact that he has to physically drag the two of them down with him.
Neither of them believe they need it. Jim is easier to convince, as it is much more obvious he does (thank you, Spock!), but Spock believes he never needs it and hates to show any sign of requiring leave.
But, this time around, he's managed to convince the both of them, and just a small walk around the base is enough to boost Leonard's mood completely. Spock and Kirk are on either side of him as they wander, talking about future missions and places to go, and just about anything that comes up in the moment.
"There's a theatre down that way," Jim hums, flicking through things to do on his PADD. "They're doing some Shakespeare play. Twelfth Night, it looks like."
"I believe that would be interesting," Spock says, looking to Leonard for his opinion.
He shrugs, "I would be fine with seeing a performance, but they'll probably only have shows later, though."
Jim taps on the PADD and frowns. "Oh, you're right."
"If you wish to go, we can still get tickets in preparation," Spock adds, not missing a single beat. "I assume they have a place to purchase them."
"Yeah, get them before they're sold out!" Kirk snaps his fingers before continuing to scroll and look for things to do. Suddenly, he turns off the path they are on, and Leonard and Spock are forced to follow behind slightly confused. "It's this way."
They continue their walk, Jim continuing to call out ideas on what to do in the meantime. A park, lunch, a museum, lunch...
They make it to the theatre, purchase tickets, and upon Spock's interest, they begin their trek to the museum. It's on the history of the planet and some of its environmental aspects, which had gotten his attention.
It's when they're almost there that Leonard has the best idea, a simple plan. He whispers it to Jim, who smiles and walks around to Spock's other side. Spock merely raises an eyebrow at the action, but they continue on, conversation continuing.
Leonard nods at Jim.
They both grab onto Spock's hands, holding them as they walk.
Spock almost freezes.
"We're in public."
"And?" Leonard asks, squeezing his hand.
"We are in public."
Kirk swings their hands a few times. "It's because we love you, but-" He releases Spock's hand and Leonard does the same.
"Later," Leonard hums, and Jim nods. "Though..." They link arms, Spock in the middle.
They walk into the museum together.
