Work Text:

Ramona placed her bag on the bed, she took out her cell phone to see if her girlfriend had sent a message. She left him aside for a while to change her clothes. Now wearing a white sweatshirt and comfortable pants. She took her cell phone and left the room.

The house seemed strangely empty. Her father had left for an important trip. Her mother was working, she was an elementary school teacher. And Cerise..well..Where was Cerise?

Badwolf will never take over, but as the older sister, she knew about the younger one's entire agenda. Which was strange, since she wouldn't have anything scheduled at school at that time. And she never leaves the house without her coat.

Ramona goes to the kitchen to get a glass of water, she looks out the large window in the kitchen. The leaves were falling from the trees outside, the weather was between orange and yellow colors. Ramona loved Autumn, not as much as Winter, but it was still nice.

She looks for a can of soda in the fridge and goes back up the stairs. She passes Cerise's room. The leaning door catches her attention, something she hadn't seen before. She opens it slowly, stops and observes the place.

The house contained two attics. One led to Ramona's room and the other to cerise. Cerise's bed was on the next wall, facing the wall TV, the walls with posters, the medals from the competitions that Cerise won were hanging on them, the trophies were on the shelves. The wall wardrobe. But of all... what caught the oldest girl's attention was the attic window, which was ajar.

The brunette was confused, Cerise never opened the windows, only in the summer, so as not to make the room stuffy. Ramona pulls up the door and goes to her room and opens his window. She passes through the window, and sees herself on the roof. Anyone looking from the outside thinks that there was the attic, but it was only the windows that gave that view.

She looks to the side and sees Cerise. Shoes tapping lightly on the roof, red sweatpants and a black sleeved blouse, in his hands was a cigarette.

Ramona looked at her sister's hands in confusion, she approached carefully, which caught the younger girl's attention.

— It looks like I found you missing.. — Ramona smiled when she saw Cerise laugh softly. - Can I seat? — Cerise nodded with a smile.

— The weather is nice.. — She put the cigarette in her mouth again, picked up the lighter to light it. Soon giving up.

— Smoking?? Mom wouldn't like to know that her favorite is doing something wrong.

— I'm not a huge fan...I'm just distracting. And in reality, I don't even think I'll light it.

- But I'll go. Me of. — Cerise takes the cigarette out of her mouth and puts it in her sister's hand along with the lighter. Ramona lights the cigarette and puts it in her mouth. She soon offers it to Cerise, who ends up accepting.

— How did you know I was here?

— Her bedroom window was open. And also..I come here to breathe, less frequently now.

— I see.. — She returned the cigarette to Ramona.

- Did something happen? She's with her head down... — It was strange to see Cerise like that, so quiet. They weren't even calling each other names or competing.

— I met a girl.. — The girl with bangs smiled weakly. Ramona turned to look at her sister

— Oh...that's cool. What is her name?

— Well...I don't know... — The older Hood was confused.

- How you do not know?? Didn't you ask??

Cerise snorted and smiled awkwardly — And... I never spoke to her. In fact, this is where I met her. And it was there — She pointed to the street — That was where she met me.

Ramona was surprised by that

— And how did this happen??

— Hm.. 2 weeks ago..

[...]

Cerise sat on the roof that day, the wind was weak, Autumn had begun. Cerise loved summer, but that reddish weather was extremely lovely. The wind ruffled her hair.

About 2 months ago, Cerise had an outburst and asked Ramona to cut her hair. After the questionnaire, her older sister took the scissors and went through her thin, straight locks. In the end, she gave a light Mullet, with chopped bangs. Half of her hair fell to the floor, her mother even got scared. Now he was a little bigger. She just shaped the bangs and sides, sometimes the ends.

Cerise had brought the comforter. She had stolen Darling's crazy idea, which was to pick up the duvet and watch the night fall. And there she was, sitting on top of the attic of her room, wrapped in her white comforter with a can of soda in her hands with a perfect view of the street.

Hood sometimes stopped to think about how unstable she seemed, even Rosabella had mentioned that. But in fact, she was quite healthy and happy, just quiet and silent. Competitive only when she participated in a game or in the running competitions that were her passion.

Cerise took out her cell phone and plugged in any song from her playlist. A questionable song played in the headphones. She just relaxed at the sound of "mother mother". The wind hit again, some leaves fell on the roof. She took advantage of that to relax...

She turned her gaze to the street, it seemed busy now. Some young people, cars and bikes. But something caught Cerise's gaze, and she took off one of her headphones. She noticed a girl walking on the sidewalk on the other side.

The girl looked her age. Her hair was curly and voluminous and brown in color. She wore white pants and a light pink blouse, layered with a lilac coat. The girl carried a shopping bag in her hands and seemed to be in a phone call.

The girl got off her cell phone and stopped at the house opposite where Cerise lived. She pressed the bell, causing the door to open. The girl handed the shopping bag to the woman inside the house and said goodbye. She turned her back to the door and went back on her way. But not before looking at Cerise. The two looked at each other curiously.

Cerise felt embarrassed, not uncomfortable. How she always felt. They continued to look at each other for a few seconds. They seemed trapped in each other. The curiosity on the face of the girl looking at the roof, she gave a sideways smile and continued on her way. Hood was paralyzed for the long seconds, which turned into 1 minute.

[...]

A week had already passed, and incredibly that curious girl had already passed by around 3 times. She always looked at Cerise until she lost sight of her. Leaving the girl with bangs more and more curious, since she didn't seem to live there, he never stopped at that house again, just passing by on the street and looking at where Cerise lived.

It became routine for Cerise. She went up to the roof every day at 4 pm and stayed until she showed up. But, it had been two days since the girl had been there, it got to the point where Cerise was scared when she saw that it was after midnight.

For Hood, it was confusing to understand what was happening inside her. Just seeing the dark-skinned girl, with those cute pastel colors, made his heart beat wildly. Cerise barely stayed at school, any release, she ran home waiting for her curly hair.

But.. she just disappeared.

[...]

— So... You stay here waiting for her to show up??

— Yes...not that I have any luck for that. She hasn't been here for a week now.

— And yet you still stay here??

— Deep down, I like to believe that it will pass again.

— And if that happens. Do you intend to continue watching her here??

Cerise looked at Ramona in silence, a light sigh came out, followed by a low laugh.

— If I have the chance to see her again... It may be strange, but I feel like in my world, she's already in charge.

— Fuck.. Does Cerise Hood have feelings?? That "in love" one.

Cerise let out a muffled laugh — Rumor.

Ramona realized that night was coming, you could already see the stars in the orange sky that was fighting against the blue. Cerise stopped to look at the stars, counting them as if she wanted to distract. Badwolf lost the desire for a cigarette, soon extinguishing it right there at the icy contact of the roof.

The sky was turning into a dark blue, as the sun had set. Ramona's eyes hit someone. A person on the street, she turned towards the entrance of her family's house. Soon looking at the roof. Ramona was confused, the girl seemed to be looking for someone. A smile appeared on the older woman's lips.

— Cerise.. — She shook her younger sister's leg, who grunted. —Cerise.

— Hmm?

— Look down there.

Cerise sat down again, only to look down and be surprised. Her "girl" was there, standing on the small lawn. A full pink skirt that reached her knees and a small lilac sweatshirt. Distressed, she looked for Cerise's gaze, when they met, a gentle and shy smile appeared. The girl waved lightly at the younger Hood, making her smile and wave back.

- What are you waiting for?? Go there with her. — Ramona said quietly, Cerise got up and went to the attic of her room.

It took about 3 minutes for Ramona to see the door of the house being opened. Cerise had worn her usual coat, which made Badwolf roll her eyes. Both approached shyly and exchanged greetings. She opened her cell phone to the message chat.

"She'll be your girl. Trust me."

Hood looked at her cell phone and quickly at the roof and rolled her eyes smiling silly.

Ramona heard the guest call Cerise to go for a quick walk. The youngest agreed, just looking at the roof and smiling slightly at her sister.
