Work Text:

Tenko was in the forest behind his house when he met a blonde, dirty boy. The little boy wasn't so little as he was older than Tenko was. Tenko offered an hand with a smile, the blonde boy's eyes lighting up bright as if they were a night sky full of stars. Was the kind boy that offered a hand to Keigo a hero, or perhaps an angel?

"What's your name?" Was the first thing this black haired boy said to Keigo. Keigo half expected this boy to be imaginary, so he was shocked when he heard him speak.

"Takami Keigo.." Keigo answered barely above a whisper. This boy before him was clean and down right gorgeous, why did he bother talking to a low life such as Keigo? Why didn't he ignore Keigo just like the rest? The answer was simple in Keigo's mind, this was one of the angels that he heard people talk about. Keigo was sure of it.

"Keigo? That's a pretty name!" The angel smiled brightly. Keigo could stare into that smile forever. It was beautiful as an angel's smile should be.

"Thank you." Keigo blushed slightly. He wanted this angel to stay with him forever, maybe he'd finally be happy then? Maybe his mother would finally put down her foul smelling cigarettes? Maybe his father would finally let him leave the house?

"Are you ok? Why are you so dirty?" The black haired child asked. He was concerned with Keigo's well being. Did Keigo really deserve the mercy of such a creature? He was the son of a disgustingly paranoid killer and a drug addict.

(Flashback scene)

"You bitch! You were snitchin' on me, weren't you? You fucking mistake!" Keigo's father shrieked and slapped him. His mother not even blinking an eyelid as Keigo's father insulted him. Not even seeing him as human, just as a mistake that ruined his life. Even his mother told him that he was a useless thing not worthy of the title of "human."

(Flashback end)

"I'm fine, just a bit dirty." Keigo attempted to smile the same way the angel did, his smile was a tad bit more forced though. He wanted to be bright and heroic like the black haired boy but couldn't.

"You should come to mine! You can use my bubble bath stuff!" The angel offered. Keigo felt a bit guilty, what if he ruined this angel's house? Keigo was sure that the angel's house would be.. well angelic, grand, heavenly? One of those words.

"I-i'm not to sure-" Keigo looked down. Was an angel allowed to bathe a sinner? Keigo's father said he was a sinner, one not worthy of the grace of god. If he wasn't worthy of the grace of god, was he worthy of the grace of an angel? Was that ok? Keigo was dirty but the angel before him is as pure as snow.

Before Keigo could decide if it was ok, the angel grabbed him and led him to a house. Was this where the angel lived? It wasn't as grand as Keigo had imagined it. He expected it to be how Keigo's father described god's castle to be like.

"Ek- I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Shimura Tenko!" The angel had a name. Shimura Tenko. Keigo felt graced to know his name. Was he to call him 'Shimura-Sama'? then or would the angel not like that? He looks about Keigo's age, maybe 'sama' would be weird?

Keigo was pulled into the house by the angel. He was met with an adult woman just as beautiful as Shimura was. Was she an angel as well?

"Tenko, baby, who's this?" The woman questioned. She was standing by the table, setting it with plates and silverware.

"Mama, this is my friend! His name is Keigo, can I give him a bath?" Shimura asked the lady. The lady was Shimura's mother. That means she's an angel as well.

"Sure?" Shimura's mother said with a confused tone. She must also not know why Shimura was having mercy on a sinner such as Keigo.

The angel guided Keigo to a bathroom. It was very clean and organized. The soaps, body washes, and hair washes put in neatly. The curtains were light blue and the tub a bright white. So this is what a angel's bathroom looks like?

Shimura turned on the water, it flowing into the tub, slowly filling it. When the water filled 3/4ths of the tub. Shimura poured liquid in a white bottle with a smiley design on it. The liquid making the tub have bubbles. Was this magic? This angel was very powerful.

"You gotta take off your clothes." The angel explained and Keigo gave full obedience. He was a sinner in the presence of an angel, of course. Keigo climbed into the tub, and the angel poured a different liquid on his hands. The graceful hands gently massaging his scalp with a strawberry smelling liquid. The angel was very gentle with Keigo. He washed all the dirt out of Keigo's hair. The bathwater getting a bit dirty. Next, the angel poured yet another liquid into his hands and massaged it into Keigo's hair. This one smelled like coconut. Keigo was finding this quite relaxing.

The angel handed Keigo another different bottle. "Use this stuff to wash your body." He said with a smile. How was Keigo supposed to get clean if not by the hands of an angel? He'll make himself unclean all over again if he does it.

"Uh, can you do it?" Keigo asked nervously. He didn't want to anger the angel with his ungratefulness but he didn't believe his sinner hands would truly get himself clean.

"Sure, I'll help you!" The angel luckily answered and poured the liquid inside the bottle into his clean hands. Cleaning Keigo's neck, arms and chest.

"Stand up so I can get your legs." Shimura said softly, making sure to gently wash the body wash off of Keigo, pouring a cup of water on Keigo's head and another on his body.

Keigo stood up like he was told, and the angel washed Keigo's legs. The hands were very soft, much unlike his father's hands which were always rough.

The angel rinsed Keigo's legs off and grabbed him a towel. "Get out and dry off." The angel said softly and Keigo did as he was told. The angel drying Keigo with a towel.

After they were done, the angel gave Keigo some clothes. Which Keigo gratefully accepted. He was given black sweats and a white T-shirt with pokemon on it.

"Are you an angel?" Keigo finally asked, as he laid on Shimura's fluffy bed.

"No, why would you think I'm an angel?" Shimura titled his head slightly at the question and Keigo looked at him in shock.

"You're not? But father said only an angel could love a sinner like me." Keigo looked Shimura in the eyes. He looked just like a regular boy. A regular boy. So he wasn't an angel? Did father lie to him?

"You're not a sinner, Keigo. Your father is just a meanie!' Shim- No Tenko. Tenko said. The boy keigo had been seeing as an angel was a regular boy. A kind one. He was special but wasn't an angel.

Keigo took a breath of air and hugged Tenko tightly tears rushing down his face. Tenko showed him love that his own parents didn't. He wasn't a sinner. His father was just a 'meanie'. Perhaps he could be loved?

No more scrubbing himself clean. He wasn't dirty. He wasn't. No matter what his father said. Tenko said he wasn't and that was all that mattered.
