Summary
Dumbledore may have meant well with his 'greater good' tripe, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a child soldier rearing hypocrite of the worst kind. His rhetoric was meant to save the light in the hearts of the masses but resulted in the death of magic itself. Only one, the Master of Death himself, had the potential to change things. So he did. It was time to make those fools pull their heads out and take a good look in the mirror.
