Exile

Prologue

Amy’s POV

I was resting in my room, when suddenly the entire castle started shaking.

“What in the world!?”
Suddenly, Jacob burst in, grabbing me and my sister and running towards the throne room.

“What’s going on Jacob?!”
“We’re under attack, the army can’t stop them! We’re getting you out of here!”
Maya was in the throne room already, and before I could argue, the guards forced me, my parents, my sister, Jacob, Maya and Sally into a secret passage, with my father and the guards entering last.

We were just about to enter an emergency portal to another world when suddenly, the guards were stabbed in the back, and as father turned to respond, he was stabbed in the heart as well.

“BRAD!” Mom yelled.

As dad fell, my brother was seen smiling, holding his bloody sword.

“AMY! RUN!” Mom yelled, as she grabbed Dad’s sword and began to slash at Jamie.

Before I could respond, Jacob fired up the portal, and shoved Sally, Isabella and Maya into the portal. He then grabbed me and forced me in, just as Mom was overwhelmed and stabbed in the heart.

“MOM!” I yelled, as I was forced in.

Jamie then stared angrily at Jacob as he smashed the controls and jumped into the portal as it closed.

Two demon guards then ran in the room.

“Sir!”
“…Clean this up, make sure my parents get funerals and burials worthy of a King and Queen.”
“Yes Sir!”
