Squirming through the crowd of inebriated students in the dimly lit club, Snape finally located Lucius nestled in a quiet corner. “Remind me again why you dragged me here,” Lucius muttered, pulling Snape closer as he sipped his red wine. “We, my friend, will either find some companionship tonight or face the wrath of those mischievous red-headed twins.”
If it wasn’t for Lucius’s silent charm around himself, Snape would have to scream in his ear. The music is so loud that you can feel the vibration of it. Even a few paintings on the wall started to shake.
Snape downed his drink, casting a stern look at Lucius. The predicament they found themselves in was an accident resulting from a conversation about the mingling of different magical beings that had been overheard by two curious students. This resulted in a bizarre bet with the twins – find a magical creature to spend the night with or endure whatever punishment the twins had in mind. A temporary curse was placed on Snape and Lucius. If they win, the punishment for the twins will result in 200-page papers for the remaining years of their education.
With only 48 hours to fulfill the wager. The club in the States was popular among the magical beings since it allowed beasts and humans to club with each other under the allusion of the club theme centered around Halloween.
Snape leaned in, whispering, “We chose to use our magic to bring us to America. Here, nobody knows us, and it’s common for these Americans.” Scanning the room once more, Snape made eye contact with a gentleman with light brown eyes. He gave a subtle nod and a smile.
“Okay, I’ve found my target. Let’s meet up tomorrow in front of this pub around mid-evening,” Snape said. Lucius turned to him in horror at the thought of being left alone.
“Nope, I won’t risk facing the twins’ punishment. So, either you find someone or face their curse,” Snape advised, tapping Lucius’s glass before heading toward the gentleman he’d spotted.
Lucius sighed, muttering, “Just act like an American.”
Three hours later, after watching Snape leave the club with his newfound companion, Lucius continued to fend off the advances of a few suitors. Finding someone for a simple encounter wouldn’t be challenging if he weren’t grappling with the turmoil of not being laid in 6 years.
Unable to quell his racing thoughts, he faced the possibility of meeting the twins’ punishment. Lucious leaned away from a couple so engrossed in kissing each other that they didn’t notice him.
As Lucious turned to leave, a tall guy with shaggy hair approached him, extending his hand. “Hi, how are you?” he said.
Lucius placed his hand in the other and felt a tingle upon contact. He watched as the stranger brought his hand to his lips, gently kissing it. “May I know your name?” a slight blush crept up. Lucius checked as their eyes met.
“I’m Lucius, and you?” Lucius inquired, leaning in as the stranger ran his fingers through his hair and closed the distance.
“I’m Harry.” A shudder ran down Lucius’ body as his lips brushed around his ear lobe.
One month later, Snape and Lucis have been apart from each other. They both have become entangled with their partners and haven’t been able to reconnect. Finally, when Lucius gets a response to his magical message, he is informed to meet back at the club. He rushes out of the house in haste.
Snape confronted Lucius, “Where have you been?” He grabbed Lucius’s arm, pulling him aside into an alley. Lucius retorted, “What do you mean, where have I been? I tried to reach you through magic multiple times.”
Snape cast a portal, pulling Lucius along. Leaving behind the calming suburban town, they are drawn into the busy street of the Rivers Edge.
Once they emerged into the magical world, Snape vomited by the roadside. Wiping his mouth in disgust, Lucius dragged Snape into a hidden corner. “Why did you bring us back to the magical world?”
“I want to talk to you in private. Just follow me,” Snape replied.
Cloaking themselves, they blended into the crowd, heading toward Gringotts Wizard Bank. Inside, Snape approached a goblin teller, showing his face. Lucius followed suit.
“Follow me,” the goblin said, leading them to the Malouf safe. “Here’s your key. If you need another escort, use the phone inside.”
After the goblin left, they entered the safe. Lucius slumped onto a green couch. “I can’t believe this.”
Snape leaned back in his chair. “You mean we’re back in the magical world?”
“No, the fact that I still have this safe. I thought it would be long gone,” Lucius admitted, placing his hand against his face to collect himself.
Snape summoned a trash can, ready for possible retching. “I’m pregnant,” Lucius pulled his hand away, showing his pure confusion, which soon turned into laughter.
“Why the need to float me to my safe to tell me this?” Lucius asked, wiping his tears.
Snape chuckled, “He’s also a vampire. And not just any vampire, but one from the protected magical vampire clan, the Volturi.”
Lucius’s face twisted in horror. “You ran away from a Volturi vampire?”
“Yup,” Snape said, nonchalantly kicking his feet up.
Vampires from the Volturi clan are pure-blood vampires. They have abilities tied to their blood and can also return turned vampires back to humans. They have so many abilities that when the magical council wanted to declare war on them, they walked into the council to create a treaty since one of their vampires was a Precognition. They only chose that path because they had agreed it would be tedious to kill off all the wizards.
“You ran away from a VOLTURI VAMPIRE,” Lucis screamed at Snape as he watched the man continue to giggle. “Yup,” Snape smiled as he leaned further into the couch.
He watched Lucis pacing back and forth in the room, mumbling about the laws they could have just broken. “Who got you pregnant? I know it couldn’t have been a human. Their sperm is too weak to get a male wizard pregnant.”
Lucis stopped in his tracks as he looked toward Snape, confused. “Oh, I got some vampire powers now. I can tell that you are pregnant.” Snape hummed.
Conflicted about answering the question and jumping back into figuring out how to get protection for Snape, he decided on the latter.
“A vela-wolf-elf got me pregnant.” Lucius returned to his chair to sit down, growing tired from walking.
“a vela-wolf-vela got you pregnant?” Snape tilted his head in confusion as he watched Lucius kick his feet up on the table. “I was fucked by all three and ended up pregnant. I have yet to check who exactly is the father.”
Lucis got up, walked over to Snape, and pulled him from his chair. He mumbled a few spells and dragged Snape into the nest. “let’s talk about this tomorrow. “Lucis closed his eyes, awaiting sleep.
“all because of a stupid bet,” Snape giggled as Lucis hit him with a pillow.
