It was not long before Olive came to his senses.
He's in the village again.
But something is wrong.
Where's the color?
It's all grayscale.
Deciding to look for anyone, he sets off and walks around the village.
It all seems normal enough.
Just.. devoid of color.
Where even is everyone?
Olive decides to head off to The Heart of The Woods.
He walks down the dark path, and on the other end it's..
The village again.
This is all wrong.
He walks around again.
Something is different this time.
He sees... Minnie.
Something is off.
Her fur is as dark as the void.
He approaches her anyway.
Once she notices his presence, she speaks.
"When you went into denial.. you sealed a part of me away with the truth."
She slowly fades away.
He's confused.
He doesn't know what she's talking about.
He decides to continue around, checking every inch of the village to see if anything else changed.
All the water is gone now.
Weird, but not significant enough to note, at least to Olive.
He heads off for The Heart of The Woods' path, going down it once again.
When he comes out on the other side, it's the village. Once again.
He can immediately notice the buildings are missing.
This is.. strange.
Olive feels uneasy.
However, something in the back of his mind tells him to check the meeting grounds.
He keeps forgetting.
He runs off to the meeting grounds, seeing Minnie again.
He approaches her, seeing no harm in getting some more information, even if it isn't true or anything.
She speaks.
"They were waiting for you to come back for them all that time."
"Where were you?"
She slowly fades away, again.
He shakes his head.
He doesn't know what she's talking about.
He looks around again.
Nothing of note that wasn't already seen.
He goes down to the Heart of The Woods once again.
He goes down the path.
This time, Minnie was waiting for them at the entrance of the village.
"On that day... When you left them to die... A part of me died as well. And you denied fault."
"You never wanted them in your village, did you?"
"You found them lazy, did you not?"
She slowly fades away once more.
He doesn't know what she's talking about.
...
He hears a thud.
Something happened nearby.
He goes to investigate.
He stumbles upon the cave.
It's dark and he can't see anything in there.
But, being brave, he goes to inspect it.
He feels something grab one of his legs and pull him in.
He hits a wall and suddenly wakes up, in a cold sweat.
He's with his partners yet again.
Razra is awake this time.
"Oh, Olive!"
"Are you okay?"
He shakes his head.
"Did you have a nightmare?"
"Maverick told me that you had one last week."
He nods.
"Alright, then come here."
She cuddles up to him, making him feel safe again.
He can't get to sleep, and it's early morning anyway, so he just stays like that.
Awake.
He's happy again.
