Their past few days had been hectic. They've been going to different places, adjusting to different time zones, and doing one schedule after another.
Just a few days ago, they were in Japan, performing in front of their Carats and having fun with them. The next morning, they were "kidnapped" and found themselves with too little belongings filming for the much awaited "Youth Over Flowers". And as much as they had fun with their mini vacation, they're now in Budapest, filming the music video for their latest comeback.
Soonyoung was done with his wardrobe and make-up. He was just waiting to be called for his turn to do his solo shots. He knows that with the comeback preparations and upcoming activities, it would take some time for them to have time for themselves, so he decides to get as much rest as he can. That's why Jihoon had found him laying down on the bench, with his arms covering his eyes. "Young-ah, Can you move a bit? I want to sit beside you?"
Jihoon was already staring down at him when his eyes finally adjusted to the bright sun. "Yeah, sure." Soonyoung said as he sat properly and made some space for the other.
"You didn't really have to sit. You could've laid your head on my lap." Jihoon said as he sat down and guided Soonyoung's head on his shoulders. He shielded the dancer's eyes again while placing his arms on the other's shoulder.
Soonyoung saw Jihoon doing just that and instead removed them from his shoulder and just held hands with the other. "It's fine. Your legs might get numb after a while. Plus, I like sitting beside you better."
Jihoon just chuckled lowly and placed his head on top of the other as well. They stayed like that for a while, quietly enjoying each other's presence.
"Why were you sitting here by yourself? Do you not want to play around with the others?" Jihoon asked the other after a while.
Soonyoung shook his head no which made both of their heads move. They laughed at each other lowly but quickly calmed down. "I just wanted to rest for a bit. We've had a lot of schedules lately and we'll be even busier now that comeback preparations have started."
"Right, we'll have more practices and filmings once we go back to Korea." Jihoon agreed. "You have a few solo appearances, right?"
"Mhmm…" Soonyoung hummed. "We wouldn't have time to spend with each other since you'll also be busy with the other producer hyungs. That's kind of why I was waiting for you as well earlier."
Jihoon lifted his head and pecked the top of Soonyoung's head. "You're cute. We'll find time. Don't worry."
"I hope so. But it's fine. We can just enjoy moments like this where it's just us." Soonyoung assured the producer as well. "It's just a bit sad that we wouldn't get to finish the show we were watching."
"Oh Soonyoung! I love you really." Jihoon ruffled Soonyoung's hair as he stared fondly at the other. Soonyoung looked at him weirdly but still pecked his cheeks. "I love you too. But why are you saying that so suddenly."
"Nothing. You're just too cute today." Soonyoung playfully hit the producer's arm. "We can watch the show on my phone if you want. I downloaded it since you fell asleep last night and you might want to watch it when we're free."
"You really know me too well, don't you?" Soonyoung said, lovingly staring at the other.
"Of course. I'm your boyfriend, aren't I?" Jihoon replied while cupping the other's face and trailing his hands on his cheeks.
Soonyoung placed his hands on top of Jihoon's. "The best boyfriend," He whispered before leaning in and pressing a soft and quick kiss on the other's lips.
That's how the staff and the others found them for most of the day. Huddled together in their own bubble as they watch on the small screen of Jihoon's phone. No one dared to bother them unless it's their turn to film their part. Everyone knew how hard their two captains work every comeback and they of all people deserve to relax.

It was a few weeks later and they were already back in Korea. Jihoon and Soonyoung were staying at Universe Factory while the former worked on more tracks and the latter just quietly waited for him.
Soonyoung’s phone pinged with a notification which he immediately opened. It was an email from their staff with all of their behind the scene pictures from their music video filming. He found himself smiling as he scrolled down all of the photos and reminisced all the moments they had while filming. And at the very end of the email, he found a lot of his and Jihoon’s photos while they were in their own little moment. They didn’t even know that the staff were taking pictures of them then, except for that one photo where they were looking at the camera.
“We added a few extra photos for you two. You looked so cute and we wanted to give you these photos just so that you could have something from that moment. You don’t have to post them, take it as a gift from us to you.”
He felt so thankful for their staff. He and Jihoon know that besides their members, their staff adores their relationship a lot. They even promised to protect the two when they first came out to them, when they were only hoping that they could be more open and comfortable when filming with their staff. They even started sending them some of the more subtle moments they had and tried to edit those scenes out of their content. They know that they could trust them.
“Jagiya?” Jihoon called out to him.
“Ohh. You’re done?” Soonyoung asked, surprised to see that the other was already looking at him.
Jihoon nodded at him before standing up and sitting beside him. “Kind of. I just wanted to take a break for a while. Plus, you might be hungry or bored already, so we can go out or something if you want.”
Soonyoung pulled Jihoon towards him and wrapped his arms around the other while showing his phone to him. “Jagi, look at this. The staff just sent me all these photos. They even took some photos of us when we were sitting together.” The other took his phone and scrolled through the photos.
“We look so cute here. Would you like to post them?” Jihoon asked as he returned the dancer’s phone and nuzzled his face on the other’s chest.
Soonyoung started rubbing Jihoon’s back up and down to which the other purred at to silently say thank you. “Yeah… I would like to post one if that’s okay with you? Too many people are thinking that we’re mad at each other and we’re also cute here so that’s another. I’d just include the other photos with our members.”
Jihoon nodded at the other before hugging Soonyoung tighter. “That’s fine. I’d like that as well.”
“When are you posting the photos in your stories? I’d probably post the photos later?” Soonyoung asked as he relaxed his body towards the other more.
“Maybe next time. I’m still comfortable right now.” Jihoon quietly said, almost falling asleep. The dancer simply nodded at him before kissing the top of Jihoon’s head and fixing the both of them in a more comfortable position. “Rest well, Jagiya.” He whispered, before falling asleep as well.

A few days later, Seventeen were pre recording for MCountdown and they had some free time so everyone was just lounging around. Feeling a bit tired, Soonyoung just sat down and scrolled on his phone when suddenly his phone pinged with a notification from Instagram. Jihoon posted a story.
The very first photo was their photo where they were smiling at the camera and seeing that made him immediately smile. As he moved to the next two photos, he took some time admiring how cute his boyfriend looked. He was expecting another photo of his boyfriend looking even cuter but was surprised to see more photos of them sitting and watching together, the ones he didn’t even post because it feels more special. Jihoon really liked to surprise him like that.
He was about to call Jihoon’s phone but was faced with the person he was looking for when he looked up. He motioned for the producer to come to him which he immediately followed and went straight to his side.
“Hi!” Jihoon whispered before pecking Soonyoung’s cheeks.
Soonyoung quickly cupped the other’s cheeks and placed kisses on his forehead, cheeks, nose, before placing a slightly longer kiss on the other’s lips.
Jihoon was laughing when the other calmed down and nuzzled closer towards the other. “You seem too happy to be seeing me today.”
“Why didn’t you tell me that you would be posting our pictures? I thought you’d want to keep these to ourselves.” Soonyoung said while his arms were wrapped around the other.
The producer was suddenly worried and stared at the other. “Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that you didn’t want it to be posted.”
Soonyoung immediately shook his head and carressed the other’s head. “No it’s not like that. I actually loved seeing them on your account. I just thought that you would want to keep them private.”
Jihoon visibly calmed down at that and snuggled towards the other again. “I kind of wanted to show you off today,” he quietly whispered, somewhat hoping that the other wouldn’t hear. But they were too close to each other so it would be impossible that Soonyoung wouldn’t hear him.
“Ohh Jihoonie. You can’t imagine how much more I fell in love with you right now.” Soonyoung said giggling while tightening his hold on the other.
Jihoon looked up at Soonyoung and whispered back, “I love you too. So much.” Before leaning in and kissing Soonyoung softly since they were the only ones in the room.
After a few seconds, they pulled away from each other, and just quietly laid together, once again existing in their very own bubble. And when the others saw them, they avoided disturbing the two’s peace again, just adoring how lovely the two seemed from afar.
