Weeks.
It had been weeks since the republic had been bombed.
Weeks since their escape.
Weeks since the death of Izzy Hands.
Tera was not over it. But their search for revenge would soon be over.
They were still sailing with the crew, ocasionaly stoping at places where Ricky could potentionaly be. It had been sayd that Ricky had left the republic of pirates after their escape, so there was no use searching there.
Stop after stop searching non stop. That is till Zheng Yi Sao had come up with an idea. To give Ricky an "invatation". Tera knew damn well that she ment blackmail, but Zheng didn't like that term, so they didn't bother mentioning it.
All they had to do was sent a letter to the british demanding to speak to Ricky or they would spread the news that a whole pirate crew escaped them. It was a dumb idea. But surprisingly it somehow worked. The british navi were always dumb enouph to fall for such stuff. And dumb enouph to trust Ricky that he would be okay going alone.
The meeting was in a sort of forest. They didn't care. As long as it was away from everything. Tera had arrived early, way to surprised that the plan had worked. As soon as they saw a glimpse of Ricky in their view they grabed him by his colar, pushing him up against a tree. They pressed one of their knifes against his neck, staring at him with rage. "Can't believe you are so fucking dumb to come here alone. Even Calico Jack would be smarter about this."
Ricky was hitting against Tera's arms at an attempt to escape, tho without effort. "I'm warning you! You can't kill me! For i am a minor pri-" "Does it honestly look like i give a fuck? I've been wanting to murder you for ages." they moved the knife upwards his neck, blood starting to pricle down it. "You really expected you could kill him like that and get away with it? I don't think you even have anyone who cares for you, but they will soon feel the same way as i did. As you took away the persone i cared most about." Ricky had not been listening half the time, attempting to somehow call someone for help. That dumbass even came unarmed.
"This will have serious consequense-" Tera had sliced his troath open before he could finish his sentence, letting him fall to the ground as the blood fell out of his neck. Not being satisfied enouph they took their knife again and stabed him in the stomach. On the right side. With all the important bits.
They kept stabing him over and over again, even after he had stoped breathing. Tears were rolling down their face as they stoped. "This is what you fucking get!! You took Izzy away from us!! You son of a- you..." all that could be heard were soft cries for hours.
They decidet to leave his corpse out in the woods to rot. He didn't deserve a burial or anything. As they arrived back to the ship, covered in blood, they ignored some of the stares from the crew and just walked inside. They walked until they had arrived in the room where they remembered that Izzy used to always be in.
Without a word they closed the door and slid down to the floor, the tears forming in their eyes again. The sadisfaction of revenge could arrive later. Right now they could only cry about Izzy.
About Izzy not being there anymore.
