Chapter Text
Waking up slowly, I noticed the dim lights getting dimmer. I can barely remember anything, only the faint sounds of walking through the bushes before I got knocked out. I couldn't see the person, it looked more like a robot. I’m not too sure who or what it was, but all I know is they took me somewhere. I looked around, seeing barely anything but managing to lay my eyes on a bucket catching the drops of a small leak in a pipe on the wall. I hear loud footsteps that seem to be above me and I get curious as usual. I see the cellar bars are old and rusty, I stand up straight and notice my leg hurts. I look down and see a scratch on my leg, but I use my other leg to kick the cellar bars, and they crumble. Maybe the person should have used stronger materials.
I walk out and up the stairs, ending up in what looks like an arcade with children's entertainment too. I look over to the biggest curtain and see there is one big curtain and a smaller one along with it. I decided to walk down a hallway and saw a few doors before a security office which has one door on both the left and right side of the chair in it, which the doors led to each hallway. There were a few cameras so I looked at it and saw there were animatronics, a fox, bunny, bear, and a duck. The bear, bunny, and duck were behind the big curtain, and the fox was alone behind the small curtain. I looked once again at the cameras and saw then the bunny was gone, I immediately hid under the desk as the bunny walked up to the door on the right. He looked around the room, not noticing anything, and left. I was so scared for my life, I needed to get out of here.
I ran all the way back to the main area and hid behind an arcade game, making sure to be silent. All I could think about were my friends back at the campground, Carl and Chloe. I couldn’t leave them there, or would they come find me? I don't know anything else but that I need to get out of here. I don't know what the animatronics are capable of yet, and I feel that I do not want to know. I see the other animatronics slowly going out of the curtains. I slowly moved behind all of the arcade games on the wall until I got to what looked like the front entrance.
I went to rush out of the door, but it was shut. More specifically, chained shut. I walk behind the counter and crouch down so the animatronics can’t see me because the fox is already walking over here. I see something, so I look over at it and it is a picture on the prize table that shows the names of the animatronics, the fox is named “Foxy”, the bear is “Freddy”, the duck is “Chica” and the bunny is “Bonnie”. I look over to see the fox staring at me, my first thought is running, so that's what I do. I run, and I leap into the ball pit, hiding underneath all of the things inside it. I see him look, and then walk away, I am safe, for now. I sneak out of the ball pit and behind another arcade game and make my way over to another room once again.
The place that it was when I opened the door, was a backroom of some sort. No animatronics were in there, so I went in and I found a tape, a videotape. Taking a look over my shoulder, I see a video tape recorder so I put the tape in and watch it play. I was horrified, I had just seen 5 kids get killed by a man in a golden bunny suit, specifically, the one that I had seen in the pictures placed all over the wall in the main room where the animatronics were held before they started roaming. I watched through it, but the worst part was that he stuffed one kid in each suit, except the last kid getting stuffed got cut off the camera. After I watched it, I was immediately more shocked when I looked in a mirror to my right and saw the man in the golden bunny suit, but when I looked regularly, he was gone. Looking back into the mirror, he wasn't there.
I walked out of the room and to what seemed like a kitchen. Seeing some food, knowing that I hadn't eaten, I grabbed some looking like freshly-made pizza. I ate the pizza, and to my surprise, it wasn’t poisoned. While I continue to eat the pizza, I hear footsteps so I hide in a cabinet leaving it very slightly cracked open to see out. I see him. The man in the gold bunny suit. He doesn’t see me but as soon as he leaves, I will get out of the kitchen to try and find a way to escape. Once he left, I slowly creeped out of the cabinet and to the door, from there, I looked out and saw a vent that seemed to lead outside.
My next thought led to another and I snuck out of the room and to the vent, going to open it until the man in the golden bunny suit saw me. I crawl into the vent but he grabs my legs and drags me out holding up a knife. The only thoughts going through my mind were to fight. So that is exactly what I did. A screwdriver was nearby me and I grabbed it and then stabbed the man with it but he dodged. I nearly fell but got back up and saw another slash on my leg from him. Taking a close look at him quickly, I noticed a hole in his suit and he had springlocks under it. There was a bucket of water near me and I grabbed it, then splashed it on him and his springlocks went off. He fell to the ground after the spring locks dug into his skin. When he fell down, he said slowly “I.. always.. come.. back..”.
The reason why I knew what to do was quite simple. When I was at the camp, I was learning about how animatronic suits for humans worked. If they had any moisture on them they would activate, but the thing is that the spring locks were designed to keep the parts in their correct places. Meaning, that if there were robot parts the springlocks would activate and snatch tight against the robot parts, keeping them safely in place. This calculates if, on a human, it would not end well. Maybe the reason he took me was because I knew too much, but who's he to blame?
Once I defeated him, I dragged him into the back room and put things over him so he was not seen. When I went out of the room, the animatronics out on the stages were friendly-seeming and my friends Carl and Chloe were standing there. Turns out, they had seen everything and had gotten the lock on the front entrance unlocked. Before I left the building, I made sure to grab the tape I had seen earlier so nobody else could find out about this. I also went to the office and deleted the footage of the fight, making sure it couldn't be recovered. When I walked back, my friends were waiting for me and we left the pizzeria arcade thingy peacefully. Now that I am back home though, I kind of want to go back to learn more about the place. But for now, I will stay put and not go camping in the middle of nowhere again.
