Work Text:

While watching the wonderful drama of Bojan's pursuit of Kris, Jure accidentally discovered that there were others who became a couple before them: Nace and Jan, another clerk and a customer in the coffee shop.

At first, it was obvious that they both had a crush on each other, but then the atmosphere between the two of them became very ambiguous, with a feeling of love wafting in the air. This feeling did not last long every time, but leave room for endless imagination.

But the moment when imagination became reality, and actually happened right in front of eyes, caught off guard.

Jure forgot to eat in order to develop new desserts, and Nace who was on duty at night, thought he was alone in the coffee shop. So, when Jure wanted to see if there was any leftover food after shop closed, but before he even stepped out of the kitchen area, he saw a couple slow dancing.

The soft music in the coffee shop was changed to retro love songs, Nace and Jan, another regular customer, held hands, watched each other, and moved their foot slowly to the music.

Jan was felt a little embarrassed, thinking that he shouldn't be using cafe's stuff and and delaying Nace's get off work at the same time, but when Nace put his hands on his waist, began to slowly sway them body, and silently inviting him to enjoy the music together - Jan didn't care about anything else.

His eyes, Nace, just him, only for Nace.

‘Can I kiss you?’

Jan heard himself ask it in a trembling voice, and and Nace gave him a shy smile.

‘We have same thinking, so, can I?’

As if he had gathered enough courage, Nace caressed Jan's face and looked at him fondly for a short time, and then carefully kissing Jan's lips.

First kiss.

The kiss didn't last long, a simple touch of lips was enough to make the tension to the highest. Nace smiled first, but next to hug Jan with shy.

‘I was trying to be cool, but I failed.’

‘Nacko, you know what? When you confess yourself like that, you are so cool. I like it.’

‘Really?’

Nace raised his head with sparkling eyes, and this time it was Jan who took the initiative to close distance, touching the lips he had just kissed with his fingers.

‘Really.’

Jan kissed Nace.

Waiting for Nace or Jan - whatever, he didn't care who can to discover him - realizing that he was actually still in here, but Jure finally chose to give up, he was so hungry, filling his stomach was the most important thing right now.

Jure took out the back door key and left the coffee shop, when he walked to his car, he realized that he left his wallet, he had no choice but to turn back. Jure standed outside of cafe door, through the door window found Nace and Jan still enjoying their time, he knocked on the door with sorry.

The two who had been hugging and dancing slowly together instantly separated, Jan's face turned red and he whispered something to the person next to him, Nace could only smile in awkwardly. Jure ignored the awkwardness that made everybody want to run away, quickly said that he seemed to have dropped his wallet in the kitchen, and quickly found it, then he did not intending to stay here for a second longer. But he looked back at the two of them before stepping out of cafe.

‘In my coffee shop, make love, not allowed.’

‘Hey! Jure! We... just started to be boyfriends for not long time!’

‘Ah, I'm sorry, but it's just as same to tell you right now. I'm leaving, bye.’

Not wanting to hear the same excuses (no matter with or without explanation), Jure pushed cafe door open in one sitting and went back to the side of his car.

Jure raised his head to look at the stars in the night sky, and laughed helplessly and little angrily.

‘How nice it would be to have a companion....’
