Chapter Text
Izaya was watching the live performance of B-Komachi with lead singer, Ai Hoshino. He must admit she's very talented and would probably become top actress one day.
"Why're you watching some teenagers sing?," Namie asked. "Don't tell me you're a pervert."
The informant chuckled. "Funny hearing that from someone who sees no problem having incestuos feelings for her own little brother."
Namie slammed a teacup down in front of him and stormed off. Izaya ignored the fact some of the tea had spilled onto the table. Taking a sip he saw Ai's eyes had stars in them.
Not literal stars, but the kind that showed she enjoyed performing. Nearly, every new person in the entertainment industry had those eyes that always dimmed over the years.
It won't be long till her's dimmed too. All it had to take was one incident.
Humans are so fragile.
-
Izaya never thought he'd spent his last moments in a car. Despite Celty's shadow plugging up the knife wound, his other internal injuries weren't healed. Blood was filling up his lungs making him suffocate.
His last request was to be taken as far away as possible from Ikebukuro.
If anything, he won't let Shizuo ever see him like this. Though, he feels bad for his sisters. Mairu and Kururi will probably be the ones giving the eulogy at his funeral. Perhaps, Shinra might as well.
Shizuo would probably be there to see his corpse to make sure he was gone. Light started to fade from his vision.
He let the darkness consume him.
-
The next few seconds his consciousness came back. He could've sworn there was a baby crying.
"A third?! I thought there were two?!," a man's voice shouted. It hurt Izaya's ears.
A woman's voice cuts in," It happens sometimes."
A younger voice chimed in,"I don't care how many children I have! I love them all."
"Who are you people?!," Izaya screamed. Well, he tried to, but all that came was-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH."
-
"Yup, that's you, Pyrope," Said his teenage mother. It took a few months for him to accept the fact he's been reincarnated.
"Pyrope" that's his new name. Who would name their kid that? Ai Hoshino, his new mother, that's who. He's no longer Izaya Orihara, the famous information broker and rival of Shizuo Heiwajima.
Pyrope is the youngest of triplets. Looking at the mirror there he couldn't stop staring at his new, adorable, face. Burgundy eyes and purple hair. His siblings have blonde hair. They obviously inherited that from the father.
"Aqua, are you hungry?," Ai asked the oldest triplet. "Do you want to breastfeed?"
Aqua's face went red and he began trying to move out Ai's arms. A bottle was handed to the blonde boy who drank it like it was a life line.
Ruby, the middle triplet, began crying. Ai rushed over to her and took out her breast. The baby girl drank happily before giving Aqua a look. Pyrope ignored them and decided to crawl to the toys. He needed something to bite.
His toothless mouth desired something in it. Curse the baby instincts.
Someone picked him up. Ichigo was holding the infant in his arms.
"Ai, don't forget about your youngest," Ichigo scolded.
Ai looked at Pyrope and chuckled. "He's a very independent child." Ruby began crying again. "What's wrong Aqua?," Ai asked.
"That's Ruby," Ichigo sighed.
-
That night, Pyrope snuck out of his room and crawled to the living room where the tablet was. It was on a desk where Ai did her school work. He climbed up on a chair and turned the tablet on.
Memorizing the code, he went on the Internet and searched up "Izaya Orihara" and the results didn't surprise him one bit. There were videos, tweets, and conspiracy theories surrounding his death. Some say Shizuo killed him while others claim he was shot by someone.
The official statement was he died of suffocation due to internal bleeding.
"Pyrope, what're you doing?"
He looked away from the screen to see Aqua looking at him with curiosity. "Just looking up my past self, Nii-san."
Like him, Ruby and Aqua are reincarnates too.
"Oh, will you be okay?"
Pyrope nodded. "Who I was is none of your concern."
Aqua walked back to bed.
He decided to look up things about Shizuo. An article of him popped up. A teenage girl had interviewed the man.
'Shizuo Heiwajima attended the funeral of his life long enemy. According to the bodyguard, the whole thing was surreal. He never expected this day to actually come so soon. Mr. Heiwajima stated that the way Izaya lived his death was inevitable.
I asked if he missed Mr. Orihara only to get a glare.
I ended the interview a little bit after.'
There was more to the article but most of it was just nonsense.
