Shanks was in the gallery with Benn, having there morning coffee.
Shanks heard the phone go off . Ring…ring. Yasopp pick up the phone . “Boss,it’s for you”, Yasopp yelled.Shanks got up and took the phone from him.
“Hello”, he said into the phone. “Hey”, a voice said. “Makino”, he question. “Yeah, It’s me”. “Are you ok, are you hurt”, he asked. “I'm fine, I was actually calling you to invite you and the crew to my wedding”, Makino told him. Shanks felt like dropping right there. “Shanks are you there”, Makino asked. “Yeah, I’m here”, he replied. “The boys will be here, I would love to have you here too”, Makino told him. “I’ll be there”, Shanks said. Did you talked for a little bit until Makino had to get back to work.
“Lets go crew, we have a wedding to crash”, Shanks told the crew as he laughed.
Shanks was sitting in his room looking at the necklace with Makino picture, that she gave him before he left. “Shanks are you in here”, Benn asked. “Yeah, come in”. Benn came in and closed the door behind him.
“Do you really think this a good idea”, Benn question him. “I made a promise, I broke a lot of promises but I'm not going to break this one”, Shanks siad with out looking at him in the eyes. ‘
The crew finally made it to the little island that he left so long ago.
“Shanks”, Luffy yelled as he ran towards him. “Hey kid”. The two hugged. “Look at you, your grew up”, Shanks told him as he looked him up and down. “Come on we a wedding to be”, Luffy siad. Shanks followed him to the bar.
“Shanks”, Ace yelled. “Hey, how have you been”, Shanks asked as he took a seat. “Never been better”, Ace replied. “Is that so”, Shanks asked. Then he saw a girl with white and blue hair. “My gods, where did my masters go. This is my girlfriend, Yamato”, Ace told him. “Hello Yamato, It’s nice to met you”, Shanks said to her as he took out his hand to have her shake it. “What's a pleasure to meet you too Captain”, She replied. Just then he heard a voice. He turned around and saw Sabo.
“I’m here”, Sabo yelled. “ They know, I think everybody in the North blue heard you”, a girl with red-brown hair yelled at him. “Ace”, Sabo yelled. Then Sabo ran to him and gaive him a big hug. Sabo let go of Ace and looked at Shanks. “It’s good to see you again”, Sabo said. “Great to see you too again”, Shanks told him. The girl with red-brown hair came over to the men. “Shanks, this is my girlfriend, Koala”, Sabo. “Hello, It’s a pleasure to meet you”, Shanks told her.
“Shanks”, a woman's voice said. He looked over to door and saw Makino. “Makino”, he said with a simile. He got up and gavie her a big hug. “How how have you been”, Shanks asked. “I’m been good”, Makino. “This must be the man Shanks”, a man asked. He looked at the man. He had brown hair and green eyes. “Hi”, was all Shanks get out of his mouth. “This is my fiance Gin”, Makino siad. “It's great to meet the man that inspirated Luffy so much”, Gin said.
“Mom”, a boy yelled. “Daiki”, Makino said. The boy had red hair and green eyes. “Daiki, this is..”. “Shanks”, Daiki yelled cutting his mom off. “I read all about him, he was on Gol D.Roger ship. He's the best pirate in the world besides Luffy obviously”, Daiki said with the biggest smile on his face. “Thats me”, Shanks said. “Daiki, go play with your brothers, Shanks need to talk”, Makino told the boy. Then the boy ran off with his 3 brothers.
“Lets go talk”, Makino told him.
The two headed upstairs.
“So…whos boy is that”, Shanks asked. “I’m sorry”, was all Makino told him. “Why didn't you tell me”, Shanks asked. “I don't know, I didn't want to mess up your plans”. “Makino It’s time”, Luffy yelled. “We can talk about this later”, Makino told him. Shanks left to go to the church.
He took a seat next with his crew.
Makino came down the aisle with a beautiful white dress on and with flowers in her hair.
“We are gathered here today to watch a new chapter in these people lives”, The pastor said. Makino had the biggest Smile on her face. “If there is any reason to have these to not to marry please speak up now or forever hold your peace”, The pastor said.
Shanks got up. Then sat back down. Then back up again.
“Makino,I love you”, Shanks told her. Everyone gasped. “I’m sorry, for everything, I wish I never left you. If you don't love me anymore say it now and I'll walk out right now but if you do please come with me”, Shanks siad. Makino looked at Gin. “I’m sorry”, she told him. Makino pick her dress up and ran to Shanks. The two embraced and kiss. “Go Shanks”, Luffy yelled. “Sit you ass down”, Nami yelled at him.
Shanks and Makino ran out of the church.
