Chapter 1: Olivia’s Curiousity

Chapter Text

“WAH!” Marcy yelled as they immediately jumped and awoke from a nightmare.

It seems like those nightmares are still chasing them, even when they are in another world. Great. Marcy rubbed their eyes and whined. Why couldn’t these stupid nightmares just leave them alone?! Marcy pulled up their sheets to get out of the bed, but noticed a large wet spot. Great, bedwetting is still a problem here. Marcy felt tears from in their eyes, but quickly wiped them away, as Marcy went and changed the sheets, and quickly went into the bathroom to change pyjamas.

Luckily, Olivia had known about Marcys bedwetting, and gave them pull-ups designed specifically for a human like Marcy. They quickly slipped one on, and got into a fresh change of pyjamas. After they finished changing, they grabbed Scoob, their comfort plush and toddled out of the room quietly, as not to wake anyone in the castle.

*Knock knock..* A faint knocking was heard on Olivia’s bedroom door.

“Huh?..” Olivia groggily woke up, rubbing her eyes as she opened the door, revealing a very tired and sad Marcy.

“Master Marcy? Are you okay? You need to get some sleep.” Olivia replied.

“Mom, sweep wif chu..” Marcy lisped, not realising that they were regressing.

Mom? Olivia had never been called mom. She was very confused, but it was like she felt her heart.. melt? She didn’t know. But she just suddenly started to think about caring for Marcy, as her own. But quickly shook that off.

“Uhh, sure Marcy, come in.” Olivia replied, sounding confused.

Marcy crawled up into Olivia’s bed, immediately cooing as they felt the blanket. It was so soft, it was like a cloud. Marcy felt so small, they felt like a tiny little newborn kitten. Marcy soon giggled and cooed adorably, like an infant. Olivia looked down at Marcy, and was even more confused. Why was Marcy acting like an, infant? It wasn’t a problem, but Olivia hadn’t seen Marcy, let alone anyone their age act like that.

“Mo.. Mom.. baba! Bababa! Pbbbt!” Marcy babbled and giggled.

Olivia had questions, but decided to just ask them in the morning. Marcy suddenly crawled up to Olivia’s chest, and started cooing. Olivia was surprised, but stroked Marcys black, thick hair gently.

“Babu, nanana. Lululu!” Marcy babbled.

Olivia couldn’t help but coo, Marcy calling Olivia there, mom just seemed so right. Olivia had always wanted a child of her own, and this was a perfect opportunity, but she couldn’t just act like Marcy was her child. And why did they act like one?? All of this was so confusing. Olivia was about to say something else, but decided not to. She gently rocked Marcy from side to side. She had taken care of infants before in the castle. So she thought that Marcy was just the same. Marcy cooed and fluttered their eyes, almost falling asleep. Olivia smiled at Marcys adorableness, and decided to sing them a lullaby that her mom used to sing to her every night.

“Hush little tadpole, don’t say a word. Mommy’s gonna buy you a mockingbird, and if that mockingbird won’t sing, mommy’s gonna buy you a golden ring.” And so on.

After a few minutes of the lullaby being sung, Marcy yawned, and soon fell asleep in Olivia’s arms. She carefully placed Marcy next to her, and went to sleep herself. It looks like Olivia had been classified, as a mom.

~~~~~~
The bright ray of the sun awoke Marcy, they fluttered their eyes open, and started looking around. Oh shit, they weren’t in their bedroom.. They had slept next to Olivia, which only meant one thing. They regressed. Great. Marcy felt so embarrassed, they crawled under the blanket they had slept under and just sobbed. Why couldn’t they just control this?! Olivia probably thought that Marcy was disgusting and weird.
It wasn’t long until Olivia woke up from her slumber, hearing Marcy weeping from under the covers. She remembered what had happened last night, but didn’t know why Marcy was suddenly bawling.
“Master Marcy, whatever is the matter?” Olivia asked, tilting her head.
“Go away! Don’t make f-fun of me! Leave me alo-alone!” Marcy stuttered between sobs.
“Make fun of you? Of course I wouldn’t! Why would you think something like that? I just wanted to ask you about last night.” Olivia replied gently.
Marcy poked their head out from the covers, their cheeks stained red and eyes all watery and puffy, as snot was running down their nose. They wiped their face with their sleeve and hiccuped, then making grabby signs with their hands, as Olivia held onto Marcy, sitting them on her lap. Marcy layed their face onto Olivia’s chest and whined. Olivia stroked Marcys hair gently, humming a tune soothingly. Olivia wasn’t mad. Marcy thought it was wrong of Olivia for not punishing or being mad at them. They thought this wasn’t normal. Oh, how they wished Anne was here. Anne would always tell Marcy they were worth it, and this was safe to do. Marcy gripped tighter onto Olivia’s dress just thinking about Anne.
“I’m a.. I’m not sure if you Newts call it the same thing but, I’m an.. age Regressor. It basically means I might act younger than I am.” Marcy explained, in a shivering tone.
Olivia seemed to mutter out an “Ohhhhhh.” Before reaching into the bedside tables drawers, pulling out a book. She flipped through the pages and seemed to find something.
“Aha! There it is. Regression.” Olivia said, before muttering the words she was reading, then looking up at Marcy.
“How old is my baby now?” Olivia asked.
Marcy was surprised! Was Olivia.. accepting this?! Marcy didn’t know, but soon, a wide big grin she’d across their face.
“I’m just my normal age now.” They replied, still grinning.
Olivia couldn’t help but smile at Marcy. And now, they had a child of their own. Could this month get any better?
“How about we, go shopping for my new child?” Olivia asked, her tone changing into a soothing, calming sort.
Marcys eyes were filled with sparkles and amazement. Shopping? Anne was the only one who had done that for them. Sasha didn’t have much, after all, she only knew about it for a week before they got here. Marcys parents were Atleast, supportive? But they refused to buy Marcy anything. And to know that Olivia would help out, made Marcy feel safe.
“Yeah yeah yeah!! Let’s go go go!” Marcy said, sounding more like a kid.
They entered the shops, the items here were different. All of the clothes and diapers had a hole for the Newt tail. Olivia reassured Marcy that they could fix that within a week. All that they could buy as of now were toys, bottles and pacifiers. Marcy soon dashed and pointed towards a little plush, that looked so similar to Yunan. They picked it up and we’re in awe.
“I’m genewal Yunan! Scouwge of da sand wars! Bla bla bla! Im always saying dat quote!” Marcy joked, causing Olivia to giggle.
“Oh, she does always say that. But, I’m coming to enjoy it.” Olivia said, feeling herself blush.
They soon picked out the things they’d buy for now, toys, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers and books for children. They proceeded to the checkout, and then walked out of the store. Marcy couldn’t help but flap their hands, they were so happy that Olivia accepted it, and more so help out.
“Thanks, mom.” Marcy said.
“It’s no problem, dear. And whenever you’re ready, I can help you out.” Olivia said, cooing as she talked.
They both smiled at eachother, before walking towards the castle.
