"Somethin' on yur mind, sugarcube?" Applejack questioned, glancing at her yellow friend.
A little sigh escaped the Pegasus while she collected fallen apples off the ground of Sweet Apple Acres. Today, the two mares are spending some well deserved bonding time with one another. But something seemed off to AJ, specifically something off with fluttershy.
"Um, nothing really," Fluttershy said while twiddling an apple with her hooves.
"If you don't wanna talk about it I won't pry, but you know you can tell me hon. You know that, " Apple Jack said, shaking the sweat off her coat.
"Um, well..." Flutter Shy looked around slowly, "I haven't heard from Discord in a while."
"And that's what got you acting so down?"
Fluttershy slowly looked up at Apple Jack, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I really miss him AJ."
Quiet sobs came from the pony as she plopped herself on the ground. Apple Jack trotted over and layed her sweaty head on Fluttershy's. AJ knew she wasn't the best at comforting others, but she still wanted to let her friend know that she'll be there for her.
AJ lifted a hoof to brush Fluttershy's long mane from her eyes, "If it means anythin', I'm here for ya sugar."
