Jax put his head on his desk as he once again was on the worst team ever, He couldn't blame some of them some of them were starting this game Jax left the vc of that game as he stretched his arms, "Just one game...just one game without toxic players..." He sighed as he cupped his face annoyed his yellow eyes scanned multiple vc till his eyes landed a chat with three people in one of them, ' ...it should be fine...ragatha and pomni won't be home for another hour or so.' he thought as he joins the chat, "hm oh hey!" a voice of a male called out almost catching Jax off guard.
"Hey, So who's also here?" Jax asked " Just the kid I am watching and her friend." the voice said " Yo." said a young female voice, "sup hey you sound familiar." another voice said, "What do you mean Bee?" the young voice asked silence as the sound of typing can be heard " I knew it! he's sarcasm bunny that new YouTuber I told you guys about!" Jax couldn't help but feel his chest swell with pride.
"Oh? That guy?" the male voice said, " I take it you don't watch my videos?" Jax asked, "I am mostly busy with work but I'll look it up after this." Jax smirked softly ' He sounds nice...' he thought "Alright, let's play a few rounds!" Jax said before hitting the start button.
A few weeks passed, and Jax and the player whose real name is Natsume played for a few months, He liked the way he talked and he didn't mind his small and harmless pranks in the games they played, Jax hummed as he grabbed an apple Gangle notice Jax as in an oddly good mood, "J-Jax?" she called out "hm what up crybaby?" Jax took a bit of the apple.
"w-well it's just um you seem to be in a good mood n-not that it's a bad thing .." Gangle asked fidgeting Jax blinked before he shrugged "Maybe I made a new friend online," Jax said as he took another bite of the apple " You seem happier talking to this person." Gangle said faintly, " It's nice to see you happy." She added, Jax chuckle " Yeah...he seems nice..." Jax said as he finished the apple before he threw the core away, stretching his arms as he went to his room.
"Alrighty time to make some money and-" Jax was cut short seeing Natsume's PFP his heart pounding a bit 'maybe a quick chat.' he entered the VC "Yo." Jax called "Hmm oh hey bun!" Natsume's voice rang through his headphones, The Nickname Bun kind of sticks to Jax so much that he doesn't mind it but it is only when Natsume calls him that not he cares that everyone else calls him that it doesn't feel right kind strange,
"So how's your day?"Jax asked, " Long day at work glad I have vacation days, away from one of my co-workers ugh if I hear one more gamer slang, I am gonna punch his lights out." Natsume groans as he rubs his temples," ow I take it you don't get along with them? " Jax asked, " No he's a few years younger than me yet he talks like those stereotypical gamer bros, ugh...just thinking about it makes my skin crawl." Natsume sighed.
Jax laughed "That bad huh?" he asked, "you have no idea...Bun your are the only sane one I met online." Natsume sighed this bad Jax heart raced a bit "Heh...y-you mean that?" Jax asked 'Shoot the heck, he just said he thinks am sane... it's not like he commented on my appearance ...not like he'll enjoy it.' he thought as he glanced at the mirror.
"Bun?" Natsume called out snapping out of his daze "Uh yeah am fine." Jax said as listened to natsume talk about his week, he enjoyed listening to Natsume talked.
