Chapter Text
The day in the red base was fairly cold as usual. Paul was making his way down the hall smoking a cigarette. He took a drag and blew the smoke out slowly, he coughed a bit then flicked the now used cigarette to the side and stomped it out. He adjusted his coat then went back to what he was doing. Red leader, aka Tord, was expecting to meet him down in one of the new barracks that were being built. Paul honestly wasn't very excited for this, considering he found this part of his job frustrating. Especially when he had to talk to rookie soldiers. Honestly, they just pissed him off because they don't know what they're doing. Paul took the elevator down to the first floor of the base then made his way through, he knew this place like the back of his hand. He ignored people's looks that he was given since he was Tord's right hand man. Paul opened a door and stepped outside, looked around then walked along the courtyard. He saw Yuu and a few other soldiers talking, Paul rolled his eyes and stretched slightly yawning.
"God sometimes I hate this stupid job." Paul grumbled to himself, he took a turn around a mini weaponry and made it to the building sight. He saw Tord and Patryck talking while Patryck held a blueprint. Paul smiled as he saw patryck and walked over, he playfully hit Patryck, Patryck looked at paul annoyed.
"Seriously?" Patryck sighed in frustration. Paul laughed.
"Couldnt help myself dear, now! Let's get this over with so we can go home and watch some my little-" paul stopped talking as he noticed Tord. Tord looked confused at paul then shrugged and walked off. Paul looked at patryck,
"My little pony." Paul smiled. Patryck raised an eyebrow.
"Paul we just binged the whole thing last nigh-"
"I DONT CARE." paul interrupted patryck, "if I have to watch your 'National Geographic' bullshit then you're watching my little pony." Paul crossed his arms, he huffed and smirked smugly and patryck, tho he had to look slightly upwards since patryck was taller. Patryck sighed.
"Yes boss." Patryck said sarcastically. "Anyway we gotta go make sure this buildings in good shape or else Tord is gonna lower our paychecks and I don't think we can afford losing that right now." Patryck paused "considering you spent half of our savings on a limited MLP figure." Patryck sneered at paul, paul smiled guilty.
"Whaaaaaat? I just had to have it ok?" Paul chuckled nervously. Patryck grumbled.
"You're lucky I haven't divorced your ass." Patryck hit paul playfully and chuckled, he flipped through the blueprints, paul paused.
"Wait you're gonna divorce me?" Paul sounded worried. Patryck blinked,
"I was joking." Patryck ruffled Paul's hair, paul sighed in relief. "Jesus! Don't scare me like that!" Paul laughed, patryck looked over at the building.
"Ok. So we need to check the plumbing too, but I'm not doing that." Patryck looked back at paul, Paul's face shifted to a disgusted one, "WHAT!? I don't wanna clean that Stu-" patryck rolled his eyes.
"Shut up you owe me!" Patryck crossed his arms.
"Whatever." Paul grumbled and grabbed the cleaning supplies.
