Stroking the slight bulge of his mate’s stomach, he watched the slow fall and rise of his chest. When Draco couldn’t sleep, he loved to watch his omega, the relaxed look that his face had, not having to deal with any of the troubles of pregnancy. Leaning down to press a kiss to the omega’s forehead, claiming mark, and then stomach, he tried to slide out of bed without rousing his husband. Tip-toeing towards the bedroom door, he was about to place his hand on the handle when he heard (and felt) his omega stir on the bed behind him.
“Draco?” the omega murmured. Sighing, the alpha turned around and smiled slightly at the rumpled look of his lover.
“Yes love?” Draco asked.
“Where are you going?”
“I couldn’t sleep and didn’t want to wake you.”
“Oh,” was all his little one said.
Moving to push the covers down, the omega swung his legs over the side of the bed. Rushing forward, Draco placed his hand on his husband's chest.
“Don’t get up hun, you need your rest,” Draco murmured kissing his forehead.
“Then come back to bed Draco, please?”
Draco could never resist the puppy eyes of his omega, so rolling his eyes (that was only for show) he climbed back into bed next to his lover.
“I love you Draco,” the omega murmured sleepily, falling easily back into the land of dreams.
“I love you, Harry,” the alpha said smiling wistfully. Dragging his hair through his partner’s messy hair, Draco couldn’t help but wonder how he ended up so lucky in this life.
