Ch'en: "Alright. Here we are. sigh Feels like nostalgia."
Karen: "We're gonna make a revue here? This is rather an unusual place to make a revue."
Closure: "I'll set up some songs. Oh mate, the intro is already intense."
Closure plays a file titled "bat_talulha" to the ship's speakers. It blasted as if it's played on full volume.
Junna: "Woah, that's surely loud."
Closure: "Sorry!"
As the battle started, Talulah came up from the northwest area.
Junna: "Alright, who's gonna go first?"
Karen: "Me!"
Without hesitation, Karen jumps out from the ship and lands safely. Upon landing, she's greeted by Ursus Manglers coming to her.
Karen: "Come here!"
Before she could attack, she feels something's circling around her, like a ring of fire.
Karen: "What's this? Ouch! It's hot!"
One of the Ursus Manglers went the other way.
Karen: "Ah! The other one went the other way!"
Akira: "Leave it to me!"
Akira lands on the other side, blocking the path for fleeing Ursus Mangler.
Akira: "Gah!"
With one thrust from her lance, she killed that Ursus Mangler.
Karen: "Good job there!"
Akira didn't answer in response. As they deal with the Ursus Manglers, Talulah went inside a tunnel.
Kal'tsit: "I'll go giving them medical support."
She lands a few blocks behind them, providing healing for those two girls. Moments later, Talulah reappears on the southwest tunnel.
Nana: "Junna, let's go!"
Junna: "Okay!"
Nana lands right in front of Talulah, while Junna lands on a ranged tile behind her.
Nana: "Let's see what you get!"
She spins her body and her swords, as if she's dancing with it. However, she doesn't do much damage to her.
Talulah: "Hmph.."
Talulah swung her sword and hit Nana.
Nana: "Gah! I need to retreat!"
After Nana retreats, Kal'tsit calls on Mon3tr to distract Talulah from attacking Junna. It is the right moment for Junna to use her skill.
Her presence became undetected by anyone, but she could launch a stronger attack. She could easily hit Talulah without being hit.
At the same time, Talulah casts Burning Breath to Kal'tsit and Mon3tr. Mon3tr is then forced to retreat as it can't hold the damage anymore, causing Talulah to be stunned.
Nana: "She's stunned! I'm gonna face her again!"
Nana faces her again. She tries to do as much damage as she can before Talulah loses her stunned state.
Nana: "Junna, let's retreat!"
Nana and Junna retreat back to the ship together. Talulah, now at half HP, enters another tunnel.
At this time, Ch'en came up with a plan.
Ch'en: "Alright, she's gonna come out from the northeast tunnel. We will need to take her out quickly before she enters another tunnel. I heard Yachiyo is good at point-blank ranged."
Yachiyo: "Indeed, ma'am."
Ch'en: "I'll need you to intercept her. Alright, let's move!"
Yachiyo: "Understood."
Ch'en and Yachiyo land together in the northeast area, with Ch'en landed first followed by Yachiyo behind.
Right after they land, Talulah comes out from the tunnel in front of them, immediately casts Burning Breath to them. Despite the damage they received, they keep attacking.
Ch'en: "I'm almost ready…but I can't hold any longer! Need backup!"
It was at that time Nana came up to distract Talulah's attack.
Ch'en: "Thanks there!"
Nana: "No problem! Quick, finish the job!"
Ch'en & Yachiyo: "Understood!"
Ch'en readies her Chi Xiao while Yachiyo brings a bigger version of her "Perlenpfeil".
Yachiyo: "Ready!"
Ch'en: "Drop your weapon!"
The combination between Yachiyo's attack, Ch'en's rapid slash from her Chi Xiao, and Nana's attack were enough to knock out Talulah.
Nana: "Yay! We defeated her!"
Ch'en: "No, it's not over yet."
Talulah revives herself and disappears, followed by massive fireballs coming through the whole battlefield.
Karen: "Uh oh! We need help with this!"
That's when Maya and Claudine came to cover Karen and Akira from the fireballs.
Karen: "Thanks for covering!"
Maya: "No problem."
The fireballs start hitting them. It does hurt, but they don't back down.
Maya: "Claudine! Take this!"
Maya cast a healing spell on Claudine and herself, to make them both able to hold the fireballs longer.
The first fireball waves end, and Talulah reappears from where she was defeated. She then enters another tunnel.
Ch'en: "Okay, I will try to attack and distract her. The others, defend the attack from incoming Ursus Casters."
Everyone: "Understood!"
Ch'en: "Nana, I will need your help again."
Nana: "Okay!"
Closure, who notices the battle progress, changes the song to "bat_talulhahard."
Behind the southern Protection Point, Ch'en set herself up.
Talulah shows up in front of Ch'en, immediately casts Burning Breath to her. She then swung her sword against Ch'en, leaving her critically wounded.
Ch'en: grins "Just like in the past, eh, Sis?"
Talulah: "Even though this just for those girls' show, I won't go soft."
Ch'en: "So do I. Now, please…"
Ch'en draws her Chi Xiao again, rapidly slashes her target 10 times in a row. On the last hit, she stunned Talulah.
Ch'en: "Nana! Now!"
Nana drops and delivers additional damage to her. They both have done a quarter of Talulah's HP.
Ch'en: "Good job. Now let us retreat."
Ch'en and Nana retreat to the ship, leaving Talulah to enter another tunnel.
On the west side, something like a fire crystal appears between Karen and Akira.
Karen: "What is that thing?"
Kal'tsit: "It's an Energy Aggregate. It'll release fireballs; the same one you see earlier if it isn't destroyed in time."
Akira: "What should we do then? It's outside our range."
Kal'tsit: "Mon3tr will take care of it."
Kal'tsit calls on Mon3tr to clear the Energy Aggregate between them. It's an easy job for Mon3tr as it could destroy it just in seconds. After that, it retreated to Kal'tsit.
Meanwhile, on the ship…
Ch'en: "We will ultimately defeat her right in front of the southern Protection Point. To do that, I'll need everyone's power. This would be tough as she still has high HP, but I'm sure we could do it."
Talulah came out from the tunnel to a chokepoint.
Ch'en: "Nana, it's your time! Get her on that chokepoint!"
Nana: "Okay!"
Nana lands on the only path it has, blocking Talulah from advancing.
Ch'en: "Let's go! That tunnel will lead her right to the Protection Point."
Ch'en, Amiya, Yachiyo, and Junna are ready on the designated location.
Ch'en: "You can retreat now, Nana."
Nana retreats to the ship, letting Talulah enter the last tunnel. Everyone prepares for their skill, except Ch'en. She needs to hit someone to charge her skill.
The moment they've been waiting for, Talulah came out from the tunnel. Everyone immediately launches an attack on her.
Ch'en: "On my mark…"
Ch'en: "Now!"
Everyone releases their skills at once, effectively draining Talulah's HP. In response, Talulah swung her sword and hit Ch'en.
Ch'en: "I need to retreat! Amiya, Nana, take care of her!"
Amiya & Nana: "Understood!"
Nana lands on where Ch'en was. She gives everything she could to hold Talulah.
Eventually, Talulah collapses after the intense attack she received. She disappears for the second time, followed by the second fireball waves.
Ch'en: "Everyone on the Protection Point, retreat! Claudine, Maya, protect Karen and Akira!"
Maya: "Alright!"
Claudine: "Understood."
Maya and Claudine land on the same place when they face the first fireball waves.
Claudine: "Hey, if I may ask, where did you learn to use that medicine?"
Maya: "Someone taught me, but I forgot her name. Probably that woman behind us."
Claudine: "I see. Well, thanks to it, we could stand these fireballs, twice."
Maya: chuckles
The second fireball waves end. Talulah reappears from the same place she was defeated, only to succumb to her defeat. Talulah's threat has been neutralized, now only some Ursus Manglers and Raiders remain to be taken care of.
Karen: "We're close to the end!"
Karen seems excited to end this battle, or revue. Maya managed to block one Ursus Raider, but can't take another one.
Maya: "These guys are pretty fast. I can only hold one of them. Karen, take care of the other one!"
Karen: "I'm one it!"
Karen managed to block the fleeing Raider.
Karen: "You are not going anywhere!"
However, one Raider escaped from Akira.
Akira: "Huh? I cannot block them. I need help!"
Nana came to take care of the escaping Raider. Crisis averted.
As Karen landed a fatal blow to the last Raider, the battle, or revue came to an end
Karen: "It's already over? Woohoo! I'm so glad to participate in this revue!"
Akira: "This might be one of the most interesting revue I've ever had. Instead in a stage, we fight on an actual battlefield, facing an actual enemy."
Ch'en: "It would be more interesting if you knew you were facing the Ursus Army, an actual army."
Akira: "Yeah."
Ch'en: "Let's go home everyone. Our job is done here."
Everyone returns back to the ship. The Chernobog's Revue is over.
