Walking through Diagon Alley, Draco held Harry tightly to his side. Protectively weaving through the crowd, he pushed his way to the apothecary, ensuring that his omega wasn’t taken from under his arm.
Suddenly he found his progress halted by a nosy wizard, forcing his way to stand before him.
“Mr Malfoy,” he sneered.
“Is there a problem here?” He replied, squeezing his omega closely to his side.
Completely ignoring his reply, the brown haired wizard turns his beady eyes to the very man he was clutching to his side.
“Ah Mr Potter…” he began but was cut off by Harry.
“Actually it’s Malfoy.”
“The Boy-Who-Lived should be with a strong, light wizard, not some death eater,” the man leered at Harry.
“I think you would find that I am happily married to the man I love,” the omega replied with frustration.
Growling in frustration, the man made a grab for Harry, but before he could lay a hand on the Boy-Who-Lived he found his path blocked by a snarling Alpha. Finding himself at wand point, the man gulped, obviously realising his mistake.
Grasping Harry’s hand, Draco apparated them straight to the sitting room of their manor, intent on making sure that his omega remained safe. Sitting down on the couch, the alpha pulled his husband onto his lap and held him tight against his body, breathing in the soothing scent of his mate. Harry snuggled into the offered neck before he relaxed into his alpha’s hold.
“I love you Harry,” Draco murmured.
