Chapter Text

Three years earlier.

In Gotham.

At the hold up.

(Kate's behind the car looking over some inventory as someone walks into the bar as he walks in looks around and seeing someone doing something behind the counter he walks over to her and jumps up there.)

Mark: Kate!

(She jumps as he jumps down laughing at her. She looks up at him as he continues to laugh then calms down.)

Kate: Asshole.
Mark: I know.

(He's still laughing then finally calms down.)

Kate: Oh my god.
Mark: I'm sorry. I couldn't help it.
Kate: I'm telling Ares.

(Mark smiles at her only to have his smile get even bigger when he hears Ares name.)

Mark: What?
Kate: What the fuck do you mean what?
Mark: I didn't think you'd actually jump.
Kate: Well I did.
Mark: I'm sorry. Anyway. How's Reagan doing?

(Kate looks at him and smiles.)

Kate: She's okay.
Mark: Okay.
Kate: Sophie's still causing problems.

(Mark looks at her and gets annoyed.)

Mark: You'd think she would of let up by now.
Kate: You'd think. But I have a feeling she's never going to let up.
Mark: She has to as some point.
Kate: You'd think.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Mark: I'm sorry Kate.

(Kate looks at him confused.)

Kate: Why? Because of the whole thing with Veracity?
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: Oh come on Mark. She knew something was off with you. She just didn't think the person you would leave her for someone you were supposed to be protecting.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I never meant to hurt her Kate.
Kate: I know this.

(He laughs at her.)

Mark: Okay. So do the other girls still wanna kill me?

(Kate looks at him and laughs.)

Kate: No. But they might want to kill your girlfriend if they see her.

(Mark puts his head down. Kate seeing how he is. Feels for him.)

Kate: Mark!
Mark: Yeah.

(He looks back up at her.)

Kate: They don't hate either one of you.
Mark: Okay.
Kate: I'm being serious.
Mark: I know you are. Anyway.
Kate: Have you talked to Veracity since the divorce?
Mark: No why?

(Then she walks into the bar and sees Kate talking with someone.)

Veracity: Hey Kate.

(Kate looks over her former Brother in laws shoulder and sees her sister there.)

Kate: Hey Vera.
Veracity: Hey. Who you?

(Mark turns to face his ex wife and smiles at her.)

Mark: Hey.

(Veracity looks at him and smiles a little at him.)

Veracity: Hi.
Mark: Hi.
Veracity: No Ares?
Mark: No. She's in New York with Santino.

(Veracity nods her head at him as Mark sees her stomach and then looks off.)

Veracity: It's yours.

(Mark looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: That's good. How far along are you?
Veracity: Six months.
Mark: Wow.

(He walks up to her and slowly puts his hands onto her stomach getting her to smile at him.)

Mark: Boy or a girl?
Veracity: A little boy.
Mark: Wow.
Veracity: Me and the girls were talking and.
Mark: About what?
Veracity: Baby names.
Mark: Yeah?
Veracity: Yeah.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: If the baby was a girl. They all thought we could name the baby after. Shay.

(Mark looks at her and smiles.)

Mark: She would of really liked that.
Veracity: I know.
Mark: And since?
Veracity: Brian!

(Mark looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Mark: You wanna name him after Otis?
Veracity: Yeah.
Mark: Wow.
Veracity: I know we're no longer together but you do still have a say.
Mark: I love them both.
Veracity: I knew you would.
Mark: I'm sorry. I'm trying not to lose it.

(She smiles him as she hugs him getting Kate to smile at them.)

Veracity: I miss you.

(Mark pulls away from her to look at her.)

Mark: I know. I miss you too.
Veracity: But you're with Ares now.
Mark: Not officially.

(Veracity looks at him.)

Veracity: What's that mean?
Mark: It means yeah we're together.

(She laughs at him.)

Veracity: As long as we've got that cleared up.
Mark: Yeah. So what are the middle names gonna be?
Veracity: For the little girl it would of been Leslie Neve Kane or Kane-Buchanan.

(Mark looks at her and is really thrown by the middle name.)

Mark: Sidney!
Veracity: Yeah. I know how much you wish she had been one of the ones who came back when both earths merged together.
Mark: Yeah. And his?
Veracity: Brian Scott Buchanan-Kane.

(Mark looks at her and continues to keep from losing it. As he kisses her catching her off guard as their kiss continues she smiles in it then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: Thank you.
Veracity: You're welcome.
Mark: I know I don't.
Veracity: He's your son too Mark.
Mark: I know that. I just miss them and wish they had come back when both earths had merged.
Veracity: I know you do.
Mark: World's greatest ex.

(She laughs at him as she hugs him as their hugging Kate continues to smile at them.)

Three years later.

In Gotham.

At Kate and Reagan's house.

In the living room.

(Both of Mark and Veracity's kids are in there on the floor playing as their playing someone walks up to the door and knocks on it.)

Reagan: I got it.

(She walks over to the door and opens it to find Mark and Veracity there.)

Reagan: Well if it isn't the Buchanan's again.

(They look at her and laugh.)

Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: You still being an ass to him Reagan?
Reagan: No more then your lead singer.
Veracity: Yeah that Calamity.

(Mark looks at his wife and then to his friend again.)

Mark: Know what babe. I think I'll go sit in the car.

(He goes to walk off but she grabs him and pulls him back.)

Veracity: She's not that bad.
Mark: She keeps threatening to cut off my personals.
Veracity: Babe she's all talk.
Mark: I know that.
Reagan: Your kids are in the Livingroom.
Mark: Okay.

(He walks into the house followed by Veracity whose trying to keep from laughing.)

Reagan: He's seriously still afraid of Calamity?
Veracity: Yes.

(She laughs at her.)

Reagan: She really threatens to cut off his personals?
Veracity: Yes.
Reagan: Oh dear god.
Veracity: Yeah. Anyway.
Reagan: Yeah their also here.
Veracity: Shit.
Reagan: Yeah. Isn't it nice to know things didn't work out with him and Ares?
Veracity: Not if my bandmates keep threatening my husband.

(They start laughing as Mark picks up their son and starts teasing him getting him to laugh.)

Mark: What you doing?
Brian: Hiding.
Mark: You're not doing a very good job of it.

(He laughs at him.)

Mark: I love you. You know that?
Brian: Yeah.

(He kisses his head then pulls away from him as he puts him down. As he walks over to his and Veracity's youngest whose got her eyes on a toy as he sits down next to her.)

Mark: Hey Les.

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Leslie: Daddy!
Mark: Hey my sweet girl.

(She hugs him getting him to laugh at her as he looks over at the sliding glass door but goes back to his kids and plays with them.)

Veracity: You three play nice.
Calamity: We haven't done anything?
Veracity: You guys have been giving him shit ever since we got back together.
Serenity: Well he's the one.
Veracity: I know what he did Serenity. But things didn't work out for him and Ares.
Serenity: We sure about that.
Emily: Babe seriously.

(Serenity looks at her wife and backs off along with Charity and Calamity.)

Kate: Wow.

(They all look at her and then look off.)

Kate: And here I thought Sophie was the trouble maker.

(They all look at her and know she's right so they all back off. Through out the day they all sit there talking and joking around and playing games with the kids and everything was going just fine until Sophie

showed up to cause trouble which got Mark and all four Evermoist members to quickly come to Reagan's defense.)

Mark: Brian stay with your sister.
Brian: Okay.

(Mark and the other's walk out into the hallway and see Sophie there laying into Reagan whose looking at her laughing off what she's saying.)

Reagan: You're fucken insane.
Sophie: Am I.
Reagan: Why the hell would I cheat on Kate. I'm not you.

(Sophie looks at her and laughs off the shock as she punches her which sends Calamity into protective mode but not before she gets turned around and punched by the person behind her.)

Mark: Reagan!

(She looks up at him as he gets to her and helps her up once she's up Mark looks at her lip getting her to smile at him.)

Reagan: I'm are right.
Mark: Are right.
Kate: What the hell is going on?
Mark: Sophie just punched Reagan.

(Kate looks at him and then to her girlfriend.)

Reagan: I'm are right Kate.
Kate: Are you sure?
Reagan: Yeah Babe I'm fine.
Kate: Okay.

(Kate looks her over some more once she finishes he looks at her ex who looks up at her from the floor.)

Sophie: What?
Kate: What? Are you fucken kidding me?

(Sophie looks at her as Mark and Calamity help Reagan into the kitchen in order to look her face over better. As they get there she sits down and Mark takes a closer look at her.)

Reagan: I'm fine.
Mark: You know the more you say you're fine. The more you're showing your Queen side.

(Reagan looks at him as Calamity's trying to keep from laughing.)

Reagan: Shut up Cal.
Calamity: I'm sorry.
Mark: Can you get me some ice please.
Calamity: Yeah sure thing.

(She walks off towards the fridge as they hear Kate and Sophie arguing.)

Serenity: Hey hey Are right. We've got the kids in the house. Kate take it outside.

(Kate looks at her and nods her head as she walks outside as they get out there Beca closes the door and walks off towards the kitchen where her wife and Reagan are with Mark and Veracity.)

Outside.

(Kate's leaning against the railing listening to everything that Sophie's naming off all the things that's telling Kate why Reagan isn't good enough for her and she just laughs at her.)

Sophie: What's so funny?
Kate: Nothing. I just find it funny how you're naming off all of things you say that make Reagan not good enough to date me. But yet while you're listing them off all I'm seeing is you doing the same thing you are accusing her of doing.
Sophie: Like what?
Kate: You really don't know what it is you're accusing her of.

(Sophie looks at her and can tell she's annoyed with her.)

Sophie: I.
Kate: Sophie you keep forgetting you're the one who chose the military over me. You chose to pretend what we had meant nothing to you. I came back to Gotham for you. Only to find out when I came back that you had continued to lie. And married someone else. A guy might I add. And you didn't even tell him about me.

(Sophie looks at her and then looks off.)

Kate: Were you seriously that ashamed of us that you continued to lie about even being in a relationship with me?

(Sophie looks at her in shock at what she had just said.)

Kate: Or we're just trying to stay on my father's good side?

(Sophie looks at her and then looks off.)

Kate: You don't get to use the Reagan isn't good enough for me card. When you're the one who turned her back on our relationship and kept the fact that we dated away from her fucken husband. I can just imagine how blind sided Tyler was when you told him. So don't you dare come here and tell me that my girlfriend isn't good enough for me. Because as far as I can tell the only person who wasn't right for me.

(Sophie looks at her.)

Sophie: What?
Kate: That would be you. Because unlike you. At least Reagan's willing to say out loud that we're dating isn't hiding behind her farce of a marriage. So do me a favor and stop trying to but into mine and Reagan's relationship. You lost any rights to be jealous of her.
Sophie: Kate!
Kate: No. I love Reagan. I'm finally moving on with my life. I have someone whose willing to tell the people around her that she's my girlfriend and isn't going to turn her back on us like you did.

(Sophie looks at her as Kate walks around her and walks towards the house to walk back inside.)

Kate: You've got five minutes to get off of my property before I call the police and have you arrested.
Sophie: Kate!

(Kate walks inside and closes the door behind her as it closes Sophie sits there thinking about what she just did and know she just lost Kate for good.)

Back inside of the house.

(Mark hearing the door close walks out into main part of the house and sees her standing against the door trying to keep from losing it.)

Mark: Hey.

(Kate looks at him and smiles.)

Kate: Hey.
Mark: You are right?
Kate: No.

(Mark walks over to her and she hugs him getting him to smile at her as their hugging he kisses his sister in law on the head then pulls away from it. As he pulls away from her.)

Kate: Sophie's never gonna change Mark.
Mark: No she's not.
Kate: I keep hoping she will. But she's never going too.

(Mark looks at her and feels bad for her.)

Mark: I would say keep up the hope that she'll finally change but.
Kate: She's never going to change Mark.
Mark: I know that.
Kate: She hates Reagan to much to ever change.
Mark: Well than that's Sophie's fault not yours.
Kate: I'm aware of that.
Mark: Are right. Come on. We've got two cute little kids in the Livingroom wanting to spend sometime with their aunt Kate.

(Kate smiles at him as they both walk off towards the Livingroom.)

In the Livingroom.

(Both kids are still sitting on the floor playing with their toys along with their aunts who look up at Mark and Kate as they walk into the room.)

Veracity: Kate!
Kate: I'm are right. You have one hell of a husband.

(Veracity looks at her and smiles at her.)

Veracity: I know I do. He's the greatest.

(Mark smiles at her as he walks over to her and kisses her as their kissing she smiles in it then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: I love you.
Veracity: I love you too.
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: Yeah.
Mark: Okay good.

(She smacks him getting him to laugh at her as she kisses him again as their kissing she smiles in it again then they pull away from each other.)

Cynthia: Careful you two.
Mark: What?
Beca: That's how you ended up with them.

(Mark looks at her and laughs as he kisses his wife's head then pulls away from it as he walks over to their kids and sits with them as they all continue play.)

Veracity: Hey.
Kate: I'm are right. With what he just did.
Veracity: What?
Kate: Kind of makes me forget what he broke your heart in order to be with Ares.
Veracity: I know. But he's been trying hard to get back into theirs and your good graces.
Kate: Well he's doing one hell of a job mainly when he's so damn good with the kids.
Veracity: Yeah. I'd ask when you and Reagan are going to have any but.
Kate: What?
Reagan: Babe you're still one of them.

(Kate looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Kate: Hey.
Calamity: Yeah that's true.
Beca: So are you babe.

(Calamity looks at her and sticks her tongue out at her.)

Calamity: Rude.
Serenity: But true.
Calamity: It may be true. But still rude.

(They continue to laugh at her as Brian throws a Kirby Plushie at Serenity's chest which gets them to laugh at her face.)

Serenity: Hey.
Brian: What?
Serenity: Those aren't for you.
Brian: Says who?

(Emily looks at her wife whose trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: Hey I have an Idea.
Brian: What?
Mark: Who wants watch a movie.
Brian: Me.
Mark: Okay. What about you Les?
Leslie: Yeah.
Mark: Okay. Bri go pick out a movie.
Kate: We've got a movie theater in the house.
Mark: Oh that's right.

(Once Brian's found a movie he shows Mark who starts laughing then calms down.)

Mark: Scream!
Brian: Yeah.
Mark: It's a little scary don't ya think?
Brian: No.
Mark: No.
Brian: It good movie.
Mark: It is.
Brian: Yeah.
Mark: Why's that?
Brian: It got Neve Campbell.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: Babe.
Veracity: If that's the one he wants to see.
Mark: Are right. Come on.

(Then their youngest grabs the other five and runs off towards the movie theater.)

Mark: I have a feeling we're doing a Scream marathon.
Veracity: I guess so. This is your fault.
Mark: I know that.

Minutes later.

In the theater room.

(Everyone is in there getting ready to watch the first Scream movie as their getting things set up Kate walks back in with snacks for the kids and everyone else.)

Reagan: How long are they anyway?
Mark: Two hours.
Reagan: Oh fun.
Mark: Just cuddle up into Kate's side i'm sure she'll protect you.
Reagan: Shut up. Mark.

(He starts laughing as his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is and smiles when he sees who the text is from.)

Veracity: What's up?
Mark: I'll be back.
Veracity: Okay.
Brain: Oh Daddy broke Randy's number one rule.
Mark: Oh darn I did.

(They start laughing as he walks out of the theater room to and the front door.)

At the front door.

(Mark opens it to find his co-starts from all of the Scream movies there.)

Mark: You guys are right on time.

(They all smile at him as they walk in and he closes the door. And they walk over to the theater room.)

Mark: You guys are awesome by the way.

(They laugh at him as one of them jumps onto his back getting him to laugh as they get to the room she jumps off of his back and he has them wait.)

In theater.)

Mark: Hey babe before we start the movie.
Veracity: Okay.
Mark: I have a surprise for the kids.
Veracity: Okay.

(He opens the door and they all walk into the room seeing them both of Mark and Veracity's kids jaws drop to the floor.)

Beca: Oh my god. Babe that's.
Calamity: It is.
Beca: No. Mark!

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I believe you guys know who these three are.
Brian: Yay.
Mark: No one is really going to say your name.

(They start laughing.)

Mark: Hey Bri who is this?
Brian: Neve Campbell!
Neve: Hey.

(He runs gets up and runs over to her as he gets to her she picks him up to hold him as he hugs her.)

Mark: Guys have a seat.

(They all sit down. As Brian and Leslie sit on other side of Neve whose laughing at them.)

Mark: Babe my co-star stole our kids from us.
Veracity: Oh well.
Mark: Wow.

(He sits down. Next to his wife as Kate closes the door and walks back over to seat on the floor next to Reagan.)

Brian: Daddy broke Randy's number one rule.
Mark: Man.

(They start laughing at his face.)

Kate: Damn Mark.
Mark: I know. My kid is getting me into trouble with my on screen wife. Not cool.

(They start laughing as.)

Mark: Why don't you tell Neve your guys full names.

(Both kids look at him and then to the woman next to them.)

Leslie: I Leslie Neve Buchanan.

(Neve looks at her and smiles as she shakes her hand.)

Neve: Wow. Creative.
Mark: Yeah.

(Mark looks at his wife whose trying to keep from laughing as he gets her in the side.)

Brian: I Brian Scott Buchanan.

(Neve looks at him and smiles.)

Mark: Yeah that was Calamity's Idea up there.

(Calamity waves at her as the other's laugh at her.)

Neve: That's fine.
Brian: Daddy start the movie are ready.
Mark: Are right.

(He walks over to the box in the middle of the room and pushes play on it as the lights go out.)

Mark: Don't let Ghostface get you David.
David: Why you think my back is to the wall?

(They start laughing then calm down as the movie starts up. As it starts up Mark and Veracity cuddle up with each other and get into the movie as both of their kids get comfortable next to the woman who plays

their favorite character in five out of the six movies. Through out the rest of the day everyone remains in the theater room watching all six Scream movies with the actors who played the kids four favorite legacy

characters. As their all watching the movies Kate looks around the theater room smiling knowing this is something she's glad they all fought to get back and what she's looking forward to doing for the rest of her

life.

Chapter Text

In Gotham.

At Kane tower.

In Kate's office.

(She's at her desk working on some paperwork as someone walks into the office and sees her there.)

Mark: I gotta say. I've almost forgotten what this office actually looks like with you in it.

(Kate laughs at him as she looks up at him.)

Kate: Hi.
Mark: Hi.
Kate: You realize.
Mark: I'm well aware of that. Brian hasn't stopped talking about how he got to cuddle with Manuel's girlfriend so.

(Kate laughs at him.)

Kate: She still here?
Mark: Na. She went back to LA to film the new season of The Lincoln Lawyer so.
Kate: Oh.
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: Aren't you in it?
Mark: Off and on. I have no real connection to the show other then be friends with Mickey and Maggie.

(Kate nods her head at him.)

Kate: Your character is in love with Maggie isn't he?

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yes he is. But he's trying to be a good friend and not say anything.
Kate: Wow.
Mark: I know. it's a soap Opera on Netflix.

(Kate's trying to keep from laughing as Mark's phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing a number he hasn't seen in a long time he looks at Kate.)

Kate: Mark!
Mark: It's Kevin Williamson.
Kate: Whose that?
Mark: One of the script writers for Scream. Excuse me.
Kate: Okay.

(Mark gets up to go and answer his phone.)

Mark: Hey Kevin what's up?

(He walks out onto the Balcony to talk to him in private. As he walks out Reagan walks into the office followed by Mary and Mia.)

Reagan: Look who found downstairs.

(Kate looks up at them and smiles.)

Kate: Mary!

(She walks over to her as she gets to her she hugs her then pulls away from her.)

Kate: How you two been?
Mary: Good. How's Mark and Vera doing?
Kate: Their good. Their still trying reconnect which I'm glad they are but.
Mia: What?
Kate: But he's kind of starting to kind of.
Mia: He throwing himself into work again.
Kate: Kind of.

(They nod their heads at her as Mark walks back into the office after getting off of the phone. As he walks in he sees Mary and Mia. Seeing their looks he looks at them confused.)

Mark: What?
Mia: We hear you've been working really hard lately.
Mark: Uh I haven't worked since me and Neve wrapped up filming Twisted Metal.

(Kate looks off as both Mia and Mary look at her.)

Mia: Oh Really.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Anyway.
Kate: What?
Mark: What brings you two here? And Hi Reagan.
Reagan: Hi.
Mark: I'm gonna kill your girlfriend later.
Reagan: That's okay.
Kate: Hey.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Reagan: Who were you on the phone with?
Mark: Oh Kevin Williamson.

(Reagan looks at him.)

Reagan: Oh wow. What he want?
Mark: Scream 7 has been green lit.

(Reagan looks at him and laughs as she hugs him getting him to smile at her. Then she pulls away from him.)

Reagan: That's awesome.
Kate: It is.

(Mark looks at the time and then looks at them again.)

Mia: You okay?
Mark: Yeah. I sent Neve a text to message to call me.
Mary: Call you what?
Mark: Not what you're thinking.

(Mary looks at him as she looks at her wife whose trying to keep from laughing.)

Mary: Damn it.
Reagan: Now that it's been green lit. When would you guys be filming?
Mark: More an likely next year.
Reagan: Which means it wouldn't be released until 2025?
Mark: Yeah.
Mary: Babe I know what we're going to watch in two years.

(Mia looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: You just wanna see Sidney kick ass again.
Mary: Duhh. And don't think I'm not pouting that you helped the kids meet Neve Campbell and didn't even invite me.

(Mark looks at her and then to Kate.)

Kate: Oh did I forget to mention she's a huge fan of Scream and Neve Campbell.

(Mark looks at her and laughs as his phone goes off again.)

Mark: Speak of the devil.

(He answers the phone and walks off.)

Mark: Hey thanks for getting back to me.
Neve: Yeah no problem what's up?
Mark: Have you heard from Kevin?
Neve: I have and I'm still going with.
Mark: Yeah I know.

(He walks out of the office again to continue to talk to her.)

Mary: What's that about?
Mia: You remember why she wasn't in the sixth one right?
Mary: Yeah I do. They didn't pay her what she was deserved.
Kate: No.
Mary: All we got back was Gale and Kirby.

(Kate looks at her and laughs.)

Out in the hallway.

(Mark's still on the phone with her as their talking the elevator door opens and he looks over at his wife and smiles at her.)

Mark: Hey babe.

(Veracity looks at him and smiles as she walks over to him as she gets to him she kisses him the pulls away from him.)

Veracity: Hey. Is that?
Mark: Yeah. Mary and Mia are here.
Veracity: Where?
Mark: Their in Kate's office.
Veracity: Okay.

(She kisses him again then pulls away from him. As she walks off Mark continues to smile to himself as he goes back to his conversation with Neve.)

Back in Kate's office.

(Veracity walks in and over to them.)

Veracity: Hey.

(They look up at her and smile at her.)

Mary: Hey. How you been?
Veracity: Good.

(Kate looks at her and know somethings wrong.)

Kate: What she do now?

(Veracity looks at her and laughs.)

Veracity: It's amazing how she knew something was wrong.
Mary: I know right.
Veracity: I was at the park with the kids and Sophie came up to me and quickly started in on Reagan.

(Kate looks off annoyed.)

Mia: She's still causing trouble?
Kate: Yeah.
Mia: But i thought things we're going great between her and Ares.

(Kate looks at her sister in law including Veracity.)

Kate: She's been dating Ares?
Mia: Yeah. That's what Marco told me and Mary.

(Mary nods her head at her.)

Kate: Son of a bitch.
Mark: What's going on?

(They all look at him.)

Veracity: Did you know that Sophie was dating Ares?

(Mark looks At his wife and sisters in law.)

Mark: No.

(He looks at them and gets annoyed.)

Mark: So if she's been seeing Ares all of this time.
Veracity: What the hell is her fucken deal with Reagan still?
Kate: I have no Idea.

(Mark looks at them and gets annoyed.)

Mark: Fuck.
Kate: I don't know what to do Mark.
Mark: I don't either.
Veracity: So what did Neve say?
Mark: I'm gonna be going out of town for a few days.
Veracity: Okay. Call me when you can?
Mark: Are right. Keep me updated on the whole thing with Sophie.
Kate: Will do.
Mark: I'm gonna go see the kids before I leave.
Veracity: Okay. I love you.
Mark: Love you too.

(He kisses her then pulls away from her. As he turns and walks off to go and see the kids before he leaves. Over the next few days while Mark's in LA trying to get things rolling for the new Scream movie. While he's in LA he gets uodates on all things Sophie and while fighting to get Neve the pay she wants or well deserves i order to be in the next movie. Mark finds himself becoming more and more annoyed by how Sophie's still treating Reagan.)

Veracity: I don't get it babe.
Mark: You're not the only one.
Veracity: Anyway. How's it going there?
Mark: It's going really well. I've got my offer.
Veracity: That's great.
Mark: Yeah. But we're still fighting them on how much to give Neve.
Veracity: Babe from what you've said. This is the last one.
Mark: It is. We're all in an agreement on this.
Veracity: What's that?
Mark: With it being the last one we need Sidney in this one. Finish it the sameway it started.
Veracity: I know honey.

(Then she hears something behind her.)

Veracity: Brian!
Brian: Mommy.
Mark: Vera!
Veracity: I'm gonna go see what's going on?
Courtney: Mark!

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah.
Courtney: Their back with a decision.
Mark: Okay. Hey babe I gotta go.
Veracity: Okay. Love you.
Mark: Love you too.

(They both hang up with each other. As she rushes over to where the kids are.)

Back In LA.

(Mark walks back into the studio and heads towards the meeting room. As he gets there he walks in and closes the door as he walks over to Neve and Hayden then sits down next to them.)

Mark: You are right Neve?

(She looks at him and laughs as she shows him what Manuel sent her.)

Mark: I have his number right?
Neve: Yeah.

(He grabs out his phone and quickly texts him and then he shows her what he sent him gettimg her to laugh.)

Neve: Dude what the hell?
Mark: What?
Neve: Why do you always have to pick on my boyfriend?
Mark: He's fun to pick on. Like Mason.

(Mason looks at him as they all start laughing then calm down. As the producers walk into the meeting room.)

Neve: Here we go.

(Mark puts his phone away. As they get the meeting back underway again.)

Back in Gotham.

At Kate and Reagan's house.

(Both Kate and Reagan are in the middle of arguing with Sophie as their arguing Kate finally throws in her face about her being with Ares and yet she's still going after Reagan.)

Sophie: How the hell did you know about that?
Kate: Mia told me.

(Sophie looks off annoyed.)

Sophie: I just. I don't know what the hell I have to do i order to convince you that she isn't good enough for you.
Kate: There is nothing you can tell me that will convince me she isn't good enough for me. Because as I said before. You were the one who wasn't good enough for me.

(Sophie looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Sophie: I. Kate come on.
Brian: HEY MEAN LADY.

(They all look over at him as he walks over to them and he quickly goes into protective nephew mode and starts beating on Sophie whose trying to get him to stop but when he doesn't she pushes him.)

Veracity: Brian!
Brian: Mommy!

(She quickly hangs up with Mark and runs into the kitchen to see Brian on the floor.)

Veracity: Brian!

(She sees him on the floor and he's crying.)

Brian: Mommy.

(She rushes over to him and picks him up.)

Veracity: Hey sweet boy.
Brian: Mommy she pushed me.

(Veracity looks at her and gives her a look that could either get Veracity to kill her sister's ex.)

Veracity: Why the hell would you push my son?
Sophie: He kept hitting me.
Veracity: You keep going after his aunt. He's protective.
Sophie: So you're saying it's okay to hit someone?
Veracity: No I'm not. I'm just saying if you ever touch my son again. I'll find away to make you pay for it.

(Sophie looks at her and then looks off as Veracity's phone goes off she grabs it up to see who it is seeing who it is she smiles at it. Then she answers it.)

Veracity: Hey honey.
Mark: Hey Beautiful.
Veracity: I hear a smile in your voice.
Mark: Scream 7 is gonna have Sidney Prescott.

(Veracity smiles on the other end.)

Veracity: Baby that's great news.
Mark: Yes it is. You are right?

(Veracity looks at Sophie trying not to deck her.)

Veracity: Babe Sophie pushed Brian.
Mark: She what?
Brian: The mean lady pushed me daddy.

(Mark looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Is he okay?
Veracity: Yeah he was crying for a little bit. But he's okay.
Mark: Okay. I'll be back in Gotham tomorrow so.
Veracity: Okay. I love you.
Mark: I love you too.

(Then they say their goodbyes then he hangs up with her annoyed.)

Mark: Fuck.

The following morning.

At Mark and Veracity's house.

(He walks up to the house and walks in to see Veracity there.)

Mark: Hey babe. I'm home.

(She looks over at him and smiles at him.)

Veracity: Hey honey.
Mark: Hey.

(She walks over to him and kisses him as their kissing he smiles in it then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Hi.
Veracity: Hi.
Mark: How's Brian?
Veracity: He's okay.
Mark: Okay.

(As of hearing Mark's voice both kids run into the main part of the house.)

Leslie: Daddy!

(He pulls away from Veracity and walks over to her.)

Mark: Here's my little Princess.

(As she gets to him he picks her up and holds her getting her to smile at him.)

Leslie: The mean lady pushed Brian.
Mark: I know I heard.
Leslie: And for her hurting my brother I hit her over and over again. Until Aunt Mary pulled me away from her and then aunt Ares showed up and yelled at her.

(Mark looks at her and smiles as he looks at his and Veracity's youngest and kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: I got good news for you and Brian.

(Leslie looks at him and then calls her brother who looks at her.)

Brian: What?
Leslie: Daddy's got good news for us.
Mark: Is Kate here?
Veracity: Yeah her and Reagan showed up an hour ago with the baby.
Mark: Okay then.

(They walk off towards the living room where Kate is with Reagan and the others.)

Mark: Hey.
Kate: Hey. So you heard.
Mark: I did. You okay buddy?
Brian: Yeah.
Mark: Okay.
Leslie: Daddy says he's got good news.
Reagan: Okay. What's up?

(Mark smiles at her.)

Mark: Well.

(He puts Leslie down and she runs over to her aunt and gets into her lap getting her to smile at her.)

Beca: Hi.
Leslie: Hi.
Beca: So what did you want to tell us?

(Mark smiles at her.)

Mark: Hey Bri.
Brian: What?
Mark: Guess what?
Brian: What?
Mark: This time next year. I'll be gone for five to six months.

(Brian and Leslie look at him and quickly get upset. Which gets him to quickly laugh.)

Mark: Oh no no no. Baby boy no.

(He pulls his son into a hug getting the others to laugh.)

Brian: What so funny?

(Mark pulls away from him.)

Mark: I'm not gonna be leaving forever.
Brian: No.
Mark: No.
Brian: So why you gonna be gone for so long?

(Mark kisses his head then pulls away from It.)

Mark: Because I'm going to film Scream 7.

(Brian looks at him and smiles at him.)

Brian: Yay.

(He hugs him getting him to smile at him. Then he pulls away from him.)

Mark: And guess what?
Brian: What?
Mark: Ghostface is gonna have to go up against up Sidney again.

(Brian jumps into his arms getting him to smile at him.)

Mark: I love you baby boy.
Brian: I love you too daddy.

(Mark kisses his son's head then pulls away from it. After telling his kids about the new Scream being green lit and whose gonna be in it both kids ran around the house chasing each other with Ghostface masks on as their chasing each other around the house the adults start laughing at them as they continue to watch the kids through out the rest of the day and enjoying them having fun. As their watching the kids Kate looks at her friends talking and joking around and then looks at her own girlfriend and their new born baby girl. Who they named KJ. With them having a child of their own Kate wonders if it's time to pop the big question. Because if Is sure of one thing is that Reagan is someone she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Doesn't matter what Sophie says. Reagan is good enough for her.

A Year Later.

In Los Angeles, CA.

On the set of Scream 7.

(Mark's sittinf down in his chair reading his lines as someone walks over to him.)

Woman: Hey I know you right.

(Mark looks up when he hears whose behind him he turns to look at her.)

Mark: Chyler!
Chyler: Hey.
Mark: Oh my god.

(He gets up and puts the script down and hugs her then he pulls away from her.)

Chyler: How are you?
Mark: Good.

(He looks around the set getting her to laugh.)

Chyler: You're excited.
Mark: I am. I have been apart of all of this since the very beginning Chyler. I just can't believe after this. Scream is over.
Chyler: This franchise has had one hell of a run.
Mark: Yeah it has.
Chyler: I'm so happy to be joining this whole franchise even if it is the last one.
Mark: Yeah. So who you playing?
Chyler: Um Leslie Macher.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Oh wow. That's cool.
Chyler: Yeah.
Mark: Wait you're playing Matthew's sister in this one.
Chyler: I am.
Mark: Damn. They couldn't of picked a better actress to play her.
Chyler: Thank you.
Mark: You bet.

(She hugs him then pulls away from him. As their talking someone walks up to them seeing how close they are Neve laughs at him.)

Neve: Hey.

(They both look at her and smile.)

Mark: Hey Neve.
Neve: Hey. Whose this?
Mark: Oh this is. Chyler Leigh. She played Alex Danvers in Super Girl.
Neve: Oh wow.
Mark: And just before that. She played Lexie Grey on Grey's Anatomy.

(Neve looks at him and then to the woman next to him.)

Neve: No.
Mark: Yeah.
Neve: Oh no shit.
Chyler: That's me. Whose this pretty Lady.
Mark: Neve Campbell!
Chyler: She's Sidney Prescott.
Mark: She is.
Chyler: Oh wow.
Mark: She's also been on Grey's Anatomy.
Chyler: Who'd she play?
Mark: Lizzie Shepherd!

(Neve looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Chyler: Wow. Have you been in anything else. Other then in Scream?
Neve: I have had other roles yes. But this one seems to be calling me back.
Mark: Oh you love it.
Neve: I do actually.
Chyler: What other roles?
Neve: Alot. Um. Party of Five.
Chyler: You were in Party of Five?
Neve: I was.
Mark: Dude she's fan girling.
Neve: I know.
Chyler: I'm sorry. It's just I loved Party of Five. I really loved the Salinger siblings.
Mark: She loved you guys more then Monica and Ross in Friends.
Neve: I can tell.
Chyler: I'm sorry.
Neve: No it's fine. Me and Mark have been in a number of Roles together and it's been great.
Chyler: Yeah. Mark talked alot about the Scream Franchise on set and it drove both me and Melissa insane.

(Mark looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: What?
Neve: Nothing.
Chyler: Are you two finally together?

(They both look at her and laugh.)

Mark: No. I'm actually married with two kids and she's dating one of our co-stars from the Lincoln Lawyer.
Chyler: Oh wow.
Neve: Yeah.
Chyler: Which one?
Mark: The one who plays her ex characters ex husband.
Chyler: Oh wow. He's hot.

(Mark starts laughing at Neve's face.)

Neve: That's nice.
Mark: Anyway. Chyler here is going to be playing Leslie Macher.

(Neve nods her head at her.)

Neve: Wow.
Chyler: Yeah.
Neve: Looking forward to working with you.
Chyler: You too.

(Neve smiles at her as she turns and walks off getting Mark to laugh at her.)

Chyler: What?
Mark: You fucken fan girled over Neve Campbell.
Chyler: What? She's hot.
Mark: Oh my god.

(He walks off as she laughs at him.)

An hour later.

(Their in the middle of filming the opening scene to the movie as their filming it Mark and Neve's characters are talking on the phone.)

In the scene.

Mark: Babe you are right?
Sidney: Yeah I'm fine. I'm just worried.
Mark: Yeah I hear ya. The kids asleep?
Sidney: Yeah they are.
Mark: That mean I get you all to myself when I get home?

(Sidney's trying to not blush.)

Sidney: It does. You almost home?
Mark: Yeah. Shut up Kirby.

(Hayden looks at him as the others start Laughing at her face.)

Sidney: You're with Kirby?
Mark: Yeah. I had run into her on the way to my car so.
Sidney: She still got a crush on me?

(Mark looks at Hayden whose laughing.)

Mark: Sidney Prescott you're lucky your so pretty.

(She starts laughing then she hears something behind her.)

Mark: Babe.
Sidney: Mark how far away are you?
Mark: Two minutes away. Why?
Sidney: I heard something upstairs.
Mark: The girls?
Sidney: Still sleeping.
Mark: Sid!
Sidney: Mark please hurry.
Mark: I'm hurrying.

(He's looking at Hayden who smiles at him. Then Nico notices something and knows it's not the actor in the Ghostface costume.)

Nico: Mark!

(He looks at him and sees the actor.)

Mark: Chris end the scene.
Chris: Why?
Mark: Because whoever is in the house isn't the actor in costume.
Chris: Shit. Cut.

(Mark hangs up the phone as him and Nico run up to the house as they get up to it Mark goes to try and open the door but it's locked.)

Mark: Fuck.
Nico: What?
Mark: It's locked. Neve!
Nico: Neve!
Mark: Shit. Neve!
Nico: Is there a backdoor?
Mark: I think so. Josh!

(They both rush around the house as they rush around Mark gets to the door and kicks it open once it's open they rush into the house.)

Josh: Neve!

(As they get into the house they rush for the stairs.)

Mark: Neve!

(Then they hear something upstairs.)

Mark: Dempsey!

(He hands him a gun and they both walk up the stairs.)

Mark: Wanna be big brother Derek or.
Patrick: Let's go with big brother Derek.
Mark: Okay good.

(As they both get up the stairs they look down the hallway as they get there someone charges out at them sending Mark and Patrick over as they land on the floor Neve's attacker quickly takes off.)

Mark: Josh! Nico! He's headed towards you guys.

(Then they see him coming down the stairs he goes to run only to get a bat to the head sending them over. As they see who hit him they all look at her and smile.)

Josh: Melissa!
Melissa: Surprise bitches I'm back.
Mark: Melissa!

(She looks up at them and smiles.)

Melissa: How's Neve?

(Then she stumbles out of the room holding her side.)

Neve: Mark! Patrick!

(They both turn and look at her seeing her Mark's heart sinks.)

Neve: I'm not okay.

(Then she falls over.)

Mark/Patrick: NO.

(As she goes to fall over one of their friends catches her.)

Caterina: Neve!

(Mark and Patrick both run over to her.)

Mark: Nico we need a medic.

(He quickly grabs out his out phone to call 911.)

Mark: What you two doing here?
Ellen: We wanted to see if she'd be in the next season of Grey's Anatomy.
Mark: Shit.

(He quickly takes his shirt off and places it onto Neve's stomach.)

Patrick: Mark!
Mark: I know it's shirt for the movie. But this is Neve we can't lose her.
Patrick: I know.
Caterina: She's gonna make it.
Mark: I know she will.

(Then his phone goes off.)

Mark: Fuck.
Patrick: What is it?
Mark: It's my phone. Can one of you?

(Ellen grabs his phone and looks at him.)

Ellen: Whose Veracity?
Mark: She's my wife.
Ellen: You're married?
Mark: I am. Fuck.
Patrick: I got it. Go talk to your wife.
Mark: Okay.

(He takes the phone from his friend and answers his phone.)

Mark: Babe.
Veracity: Hey you are right?

(He falls against the wall trying to keep from losing it.)

Veracity: Mark!
Mark: There was an attack on set.
Veracity: What?
Mark: We were in the middle of filming the opening scene to the movie.

(She looks at her sister.)

Veracity: What?
Mark: Someone had broken into the house we're using as mine and Neve's characters home.
Veracity: Mark!
Mark: He stabbed her seven times.

(Veracity looks at her sister's.)

Veracity: There was an attack on the set.

Veracity: Hold on. Mark!

(He's sitting there watching as the medics work on Neve.)

Veracity: Mark!
Mark: Babe I need you.
Veracity: We're on the way.
Mark: Okay. I love you.

(Veracity smiles on the other end.)

Veracity: I love you too.

(She hangs up and looks at Kate.)

Kate: What's wrong?
Veracity: It's Neve.

(She quickly gets up and they both rush off to go and get Reagan and the kids.)

Minutes later.

At Kate and Reagan's.

(Both Kate and Veracity rush into the house.)

Kate: Reagan!
Reagan: Yeah.
Kate: We need to go out to LA.
Reagan: Why what's wrong?
Kate: Neve was injured.

(Reagan looks at her and then to Veracity who nods her head at her.)

Reagan: Oh my god. How's Mark?
Kate: She talked to him.
Veracity: He's shaken. One of his bestfriend's is in the hospital fighting for her life.

(They both look at her and feel bad for her.)

Kate: You okay?
Veracity: I've never heard him like that Kate. He sounded really scared of the thought that he could actually lose her.

(Kate walks over to her sister and hugs her.)

Reagan: I'll go up and get the kids.

(Kate nods her head at her. Then she walks up the stairs to go up and get the kids.)

Back Over in Los Angeles.

At the hospital.

(Everyone is still there waiting for news on Neve as Mark gets up and walks off to go and be on his own. As he walks off his friends look up at him and feel bad for him.)

Courtney: You know me and David always thought him and Neve would end up together.

(They all look at her.)

Melissa: What?
Courtney: Ever since the first movie we all thought that Mark and Neve would one day end up together.
Mason: Why the hell haven't they?
Courtney: Not meant to be I guess.
Mason: How you so sure?
Courtney: When it comes around to Mark and Neve when they met on the set of the first movie we all knew there were sparks between them. But Neve was married and by the time she had divorced Mark had started seeing someone and when that relationship had ended she was married to JJ.

(They all look off annoyed.)

Hayden: And now he's married with two kids.
Courtney: Yeah. He loves his wife and I can see it whenever he's with her. But.
Melissa: What?
Courtney: Nothing beats how he feels about Neve.

(They all look at her and then look off.)

Over by Mark.

(He's sitting there with his head down. Then he gets up and walks out of the hospital to try and clear his mind as he gets outside he starts pacing back and forth as he's pacing he starts thinking about all the times him and Neve could of been together or were close to doing something that could cost them the people their with as he continues to think about this he turns and starts punching the wall of the hospital as he's beating on it someone runs up to him and grabs him away from the wall once he's pulled away from it. Mark looks at his hand and walks away from them.)

Scott: Shit.
Skeet: What's going on?
Scott: His feelings for Neve are showing through.
Skeet: Shit.
Scott: I've never seen him like this.
Skeet: No ones come after Neve like they have been within the the last two years.
Scott: Why the hell is that?
Skeet: Wish I knew.

Hours later.

Still at the hospital.

In the waiting room.

(Mark's sitting there waiting for news Neve and trying to keep his feelings for her at bay. But he can't help but think about her and his feelings for her although he does love his wife and their kids he can't seem to keep his mind off of the woman he's been in love with the last twenty-seven years. With his mind elsewhere he fails to notice his family walk into the waiting room.)

Brian: Daddy!

(Mark hearing his sons voice he turns and looks at him. Seeing his little boy and girl his face lights up for the first time since Neve was brought in.)

Mark: Hey come here.

(They both run over to him and he hugs them both seeing him smiling again Courtney sees why and smiles at him.)

Courtney: You did a good thing.
Veracity: I know I did. If you guys can't see that I know my husband has been in love with Neve for so long.
Courtney: So you wouldn't be?
Veracity: Not if he wanted to be with her. Don't get me wrong. I'd be heart broken because he chose her over me.
Courtney: He would never make you think he never loved you. Because we can all tell he does. It's just seeing Neve go down like that scared the hell out of him. Hell it scared the hell out of us all. We didn't think anything could happen to her. At least not like this.

(Veracity looks at her and nods her head at her.)

Veracity: What about her boyfriend?
Courtney: He hasn't left her side since she was brought and was placed into a room.
Veracity: Has Mark gone in to see her?
Courtney: He's been letting Manuel spend time with her.
Veracity: Okay.
Courtney: Mark loves you and there's nothing anyone can do to keep him from being with you.
Veracity: Just his feelings for his long time friend and co-star. He's in love with her Courtney and something tells me this could be the end for us.

(She walks off as she walks off Courtney can see the pain she's in. As she looking at her she looks at Kate whose looking at her and then walks off after her sister.)

Courtney: Mark loves her Kate.
Kate: I know he does.
Courtney: You know when his phone rang after Neve was stabbed on set.

(Kate looks at her as she stops walking.)

Kate: What?
Courtney: He heard that phone ring and he knew it was your sister. Like he knew he wanted to hear her voice.

(Kate smiles at that as she runs after her sister.)

Over by Mark and the kids.

(He's sitting there talking with them someone walks up to him.)

Manuel: Hey.

(Mark looks up at him.)

Mark: Hey man. How is she?
Manuel: Still asleep.
Mark: I'm sorry.
Manuel: Why?
Mark: I wasn't there to protect her.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Manuel: Don't ever apologize for that. You two were filming a movie called Scream you guys thought it was someone with the cast not some psycho who broke onto set to go after her.
Mark: I know that.

(Then he notices two little people with them.)

Manuel: Whose this?

(Mark looks at his kids and smiles.)

Mark: These two are mine and my wife's kids. Brian and Leslie.
Manuel: Wow. Hi.
Brian: Hi.
Mark: Brian was named after friend of mine.
Manuel: Oh wow.
Mark: Actually they were both named after acouple of my friends. They both worked at the same firehouse in Chicago.
Manuel: What are your full names?

(They both look at Mark who nods his head at them.)

Brian: Brian Scott Buchanan.
Manuel: Scott!
Mark: My wife's favorite Ghostface was Roman.
Manuel: No.
Mark: Yeah. And she's a big Gray's fan so.
Manuel: Oh wow.
Mark: Yeah. Hey Les.
Leslie: Leslie Neve Buchanan.

(Manuel falls over laughing.)

Mark: And she's big fan of your girlfriend.
Manuel: Wow.
Mark: Yeah. And these two just happen to love all of the Scream movies.
Manuel: No.
Mark: Yeah. Their fans of all of the legacy characters.
Manuel: Wow.
Mark: Yeah.
Manuel: Whose their favorite?
Mark: Guess.
Manuel: Sidney Prescott!
Mark: Sidney Prescott!

(They start laughing then calm down when the director walks into the hospital.)

Mark: Will you excuse me.
Manuel: Yeah.

(Mark kisses both of his kids on the head then pulls away from them as he walks over to him.)

Mark: Chris!

(He looks at him.)

Chris: Hey. How is she?
Mark: She's okay. She made it through her surgery.
Chris: That's great to hear.
Mark: What?
Chris: Spyglass wants to put pause on the filming until Neve's out of the hospital and healed.

(Mark looks at him along with Courtney and Patrick.)

Patrick: Once she's out of here it'll be at least two three months before she can film again.
Chris: I know it'll set us back on the filming. But their not gonna want us to film until she's able too.
Mark: Well that in itself is a good thing.
Chris: It is.
Mark: Well what if we could still have Neve in the movie.

(They both look at him confused.)

Chris: How?
Mark: Well with the fifth movie we did a hospital scene.
Chris: I remember.
Mark: What if we do a hospital scene where we have Neve in the hospital room awake talking.
Chris: That could work. But this is a big city hospital. I don't think they'll allow it.
Manuel: They allowed it for the second season of my show.
Chris: Whose this?
Mark: This is Manuel he's Neve's boyfriend.

(He shakes his hand.)

Chris: Was it this one?
Manuel: If I remember correctly it was.
Chris: Okay.
Patrick: We're gonna have to get permission.
Mark: I know. And I know just who to ask.
Patrick: Who?
Pagie: Me.

(They turn and look at her.)

Mark: Hey.
Pagie: Hey. How you doing?
Mark: I've been good.
Pagie: Your wife?
Mark: She's good. She's actually over there with our son and daughter.

(She looks over at her and smiles.)

Pagie: So.
Mark: Yeah. Anyway. Pagie this is Christopher London. He's the Director of the latest Scream movie that me and Neve are in.
Pagie: Okay.
Mark: Chris this is my uncle's ex fiancé Pagie Miller.
Chris: Hi nice to meet you.
Pagie: You too. So what was it you wanted to ask me?

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Well as you know Neve was injured tonight while we were filming and.
Pagie: Yes I am aware.
Mark: We were wondering if we could possibly do some filming for the movie here.

(Pagie looks at him and then to the man beside him.)

Pagie: Can you tell me if it's gonna take up the whole hospital?
Chris: No. Just here and Neve's room.
Pagie: Okay. I don't see a problem with it.
Mark: Okay.
Pagie: But Mark I want my hospital in the same shape it was in when you guys leave.
Mark: Yes Ma'am.
Pagie: Okay.
Mark: Okay. Kevin! we're set.

(He nods his head at him as he starts getting the crew together.)

Mark: We start filming if Neve's okay with it.
Chris: You bet. I'm gonna go and call Gary.
Mark: Okay.

(He walks off as Mark looks at Melissa who looks off.)

Mark: You ready?
Melissa: So ready.
Mark: Are right. You okay.

(She laughs at him.)

Melissa: Neve's a big part of the reason why I agreed to come back to this movie.
Mark: I know. But I don't think whoever attacked her knew that.
Melissa: That's apparent.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

A couple of days later.

Back at Los Angeles General.

(Filming of Scream 7 is once again underway.)

In the scene.

In Sidney's room.

(She's in there talking with Gale who had rushed to the hospital to see her bestfriend.)

Gale: How you feeling?
Sidney: Like I was stabbed seven times.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Gale: He say what he wanted?
Sidney: What they all want. Me dead.

(Gale nods her head at her as Sam and Tara rush into the room.)

Tara: Sidney!

(She looks at them and smiles at them.)

Sidney: Hey.
Sam: We came as soon as we heard.
Sidney: I'm are right. It's gonna take alot more then a stab wound to kill me.

(Tara and Sam nod their heads at her as Mark remains out in the hallway. And then he's given the okay to rush into the room. As he rushes in he looks at his wife.)

Mark: Sid!

(She looks over at him as Sam Tara and Gale move away from her and Mark walks over to her. As he gets to her he grabs he hand and she smiles at him as he kisses her head then pulls away from it as he places his forehead against hers and she closes her eyes thankful that she can still do this.)

Mark: You're not supposed to leave me Prescott.
Sidney: I'm sorry.
Mark: It's okay. You're just lucky you're so pretty.
Sidney: I'm always being told that. And I still don't believe you.
Mark: Well you should.
Sidney: Oh yeah.
Mark: Yeah.
Sidney: Why's that?
Mark: Because I love you and I don't want to lose you.

(Sidney looks at him and smiles.)

Sidney: Yeah.
Mark: Yeah.

(He leans in and kisses her then pulls away from her as he leans in and hugs her as their hugging Mark barries his face into her shoulder getting her to kiss his head then pulls away it.)

Sidney: I love you too.

(She looks over his shoulder at Gale who smiles at her and Chris calls out cut getting both Mark and Neve to pull away from each other and give each other smiles.)

Mark: I'm glad you're okay.
Neve: So am I.

(He pulls away from her as Manuel and Veracity can both see the looks on their faces and knows there's more to them then just friendship. But put the fear of losing them behind them.)

Courtney: Mark you got a minute?
Mark: Yeah. Manuel she's all yours.

(He laughs at him as Neve smacks him as Mark walks off with Courtney and Mark smiles at his wife and she grabs him in and kisses him getting him to smile in the kiss then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Hi.
Veracity: Hi.
Mark: We were just acting.
Veracity: I know.
Mark: I love you.
Veracity: Courtney can I talk to him real quick?
Courtney: Yeah.

(She walks off so that they can talk to each other. She grabs his hand and they both walk off to go and talk in private. Once their away from everyone they sit down and start talking as their talking Veracity's trying to get the truth out of him and he tells her the truth. But then tells her that things between him and Neve will never happen due to him being married and Neve having a boyfriend.)

Veracity: Mark We've are ready broken up and divorced once before due to you and your feelings for Ares. I just need to know if your feelings for a woman you've been in love with for the last twenty-seven years. I just wanna make sure I'm not gonna lose you again. Because watching that scene being filmed it tells me there's more to yours and Neve's friendship then you're telling me. I need to know if I'm still the woman you wanna be with.

(Mark looks at her and then stands up to kneel down in front of her.)

Mark: I love you. I love our family. I want us to work out this time around.
Veracity: But.
Mark: Vera seeing her go down like that scared the hell out of me. I honestly thought we lost her for her real It's one thing to get stabbed in the movie because the knives are fake. But to see it happen to her in real life scared me Courtney Patrick. It scared everyone of the cast and crew.

(Veracity nods her head at him.)

Mark: I don't want to lose you again.
Veracity: Do you love me?
Mark: Yes I do.
Veracity: Are you in love with me?
Mark: Of course I am.

(She smiles at that.)

Veracity: Are you in love with Neve?
Mark: I wish I could say that I wasn't.

(She puts her head down knowing how Mark feels about Neve.)

Veracity: She feel the sameway about you?
Mark: I don't know. I've never asked her.

(She nods her head at him.)

Veracity: Mark I'm gonna tell you something and I need you to listen to me.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: I'm gonna take the kids back to Gotham and I want you to think about who it is you wanna be with. Okay.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Mark: Okay.
Veracity: If you choose me. I'll be waiting.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: But if you ask me.
Mark: What?
Veracity: You should really tell her.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Mark: What if she doesn't feel the sameway?
Veracity: You'll never know unless you try.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: If she does. Don't waste it.
Mark: And I know if she doesn't. I'll at least know I tried.
Veracity: Like I did.

(Mark grabs her up and she hugs him.)

Mark: I really do love you.
Veracity: I know. And I really love you. But you need to decide who you wanna be with.
Mark: Yes Ma'am. Just don't let Cal beat me up.
Veracity: I will.

Mark: Okay. Mind if I say goodbye to the kids first.
Veracity: Of course not.

(Mark leans in and kisses her as their kissing he pushes her against the wall as she's leaned against it she smiles in it then she pulls away from him.)

Veracity: It's been awhile since you've kissed me like that.
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: But still think about who it is you.
Mark: I will.

(She smiles at him as she walks away from him as Mark walks over to the kids to say goodbye to them.)

In Neve's room.

(She's lying there talking with Manuel who nods his head at her.)

Manuel: You're in love with him?
Neve: I am. I'm sorry.
Manuel: No it's okay. At least I get you in the show right?
Neve: Yeah.

(He leans in and kisses her as their kissing he smiles in it then he pulls away from her.)

Manuel: You mind if I stick around and watch you guys film this?
Neve: Of course not.
Manuel: Okay cool.

Out in the waiting room.

(Mark walks up to his kids.)

Mark: Hey guys.

(They look up at him.)

Brian: Hi daddy.
Mark: Hey. There's something I wanted to tell you guys.
Brian: What?
Mark: You're mom is gonna take you two back to Gotham
Leslie: Why?
Mark: I uh. I love you two. You guys know that right?
Brian: Yeah.
Mark: Well. I'm worried about yours your sisters and your mothers safety due to the bad man who stabbed Neve on set.
Brian: Her gonna be okay daddy?
Mark: Yeah sweet boy she'll be okay. She's Sidney Prescott right?
Brian: Yeah.
Mark: Right?
Brian: YEAH.

(Mark laughs at him as he claps hands with him.)

Mark: Just think about it.
Brian: What?
Mark: This time next year you'll get to see Sidney kicking butt in theaters.
Brian: Yay.

(They start laughing then calm down as both his kids hug him then pull away from him.)

Mark: I love you two.
Leslie: We love you too daddy.
Mark: Okay. I'll see you guys again in five months okay.
Brian: Call us every night before we go bed.
Mark: I will. If I'm not filming okay.
Brian: Kay.
Mark: You wanna see Neve before you guys leave?
Leslie: Can we mommy?
Veracity: Of course you can.
Brian/Leslie: YAY.

(They start laughing as Mark goes to pick Brian up but someone walks up to him and grabs him from behind getting him to scream out getting them to laugh as Brian looks behind him to see who it is he smiles at him.)

Brian: Hi.
David: Hi.
Brian: You hear about Neve?
David: I did. How is she?
Mark: She's okay. We were just about to.

(Before Mark can finish what he's saying he sees Jenna running towards them.)

Maro: Jenna!
Jenna: Mark he's here and he's trying to kill her again.

(Both Mark and Mason run off towards the room as they get there they see someone trying to kill Neve.)

Mark: HEY.

(He looks up at him and runs off as he runs off he shoves Mark out of the way and he hits the door getting him to hurt himself as Neve is catching her breath and David rushes over to her along with Courtney who help her slow her breathing.)

Courtney: Neve breath okay.

(Her breathing start slowing down as Mark stands up with Mason and Manuel's help. Once he's up he's holding his arm.)

Manuel: You okay?
Mark: Yeah. Okay it's a official. Chris!
Chris: Yeah.
Mark: Call Spyglass. We're postponing the filming until they can finally catch the son of a bitch.
Chris: You got it.

(He rushes off to go and call Spyglass.)

Over by Mark's family.

(The person who had tried to kill Neve runs right by them. Seeing him Nico and one of their other co-stars sees him.)

Nico: Hey.

(He looks at them and starts running off as they both take off after him as their running after him he gets thrown into the wall as he hits the wall he starts beating on their face as he's beating on it. He gets the upper hand and he shoves him off and goes to run until he gets kicked in the face sending back to the ground as hits he the ground they all look up to see who kicked him in the face.)

A Year later.

In Gotham.

At Kane Industries.

In Kate's office.

(She's sitting down at her desk working on paper work. As someone knocks on her door getting her to look up at him and she laughs.)

Kate: Mark!
Mark: Hey.
Kate: Any news on filming yet?
Mark: Yeah. But we've got to refilm everything.
Kate: Why?
Mark: Someone went into the warehouse where we were storing everyone and destroyed the film.

(Kate looks at him and laughs off the annoyance.)

Kate: I'm sorry.
Mark: No it's okay. We even have a new director for the movie.
Kate: Who?
Mark: Kevin Williamson!
Kate: Wow.
Mark: Yeah. It's gonna be great.
Kate: Same place?
Mark: No. Due to what happened last year Kevin thought it be a good idea to move the movie somewhere else.
Kate: To where?
Mark: California! That's all I know so far.

(Kate nods her head at him.)

Kate: As long as you guys get that movie filmed and out before your son has some major Neve Campbell withdrawals.
Mark: Dude he has all five movies with her in them. And not mention The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. Also Twisted Metal on Peacock. And yes Veracity let's him watch Twisted Metal.

(Kate laughs at him.)

Kate: True. Anyway. How are the fires in LA doing?
Mark: Almost completely out.
Kate: Okay good.
Mark: What?
Kate: Just seeing you smiling.

(Mark laughs at her.)

Mark: I've been doing alot of thinking lately and I.
Kate: What?
Mark: As much as I wanna be with Neve. And I have been wanting to be with her for the longest time.
Kate: But.
Mark: I'm in love with your sister. I want our family. Me and Neve have talked about this. She feels the sameway about me. But she understands that I'm married and that I had left Vera once because of my feelings for someone else.
Kate: Mark don't make yourself stay in a marriage you don't want. Just because you feel bad for doing it before.

(Mark laughs at her.)

Mark: I have always wanted to be with Neve. I have. Me and her have had this whole thing where I'm single she isn't. She's single I'm not. Only thing is. I'm really not single. I'm Married to a great woman. Who gave me two very great kids. Who I love so damn much.
Kate: I know that. Me and Reagan love KJ so damn much.
Mark: I know you guys do.
Kate: But loving your kids isn't reason enough to not to want to go after the woman you've been wanting to be with. Vera's been giving you the chance to figure out who it is you want to be with. Weather it's to keep your marriage or go and be with the woman you've been wanting to be with for so long.

(Mark looks at her and then looks off.)

Kate: She loves you Mark and I can tell you're still in love with her.
Mark: I am. Why do you think it's so hard for me to figure out who it is I wanna be with.

(Kate nods her head at him.)

Mark: When i left Vera before. It was because I was told to go and be with someone who I wanted to be with. But then things didn't work out and we broke up again. Then I started spending time with Vera again. When Brian was a baby. I found myself falling even more in love with her again. We got back together got remarried. Had Leslie . God Kate. Seeing Neve again has been great. We've done alot of movies and television shows. But.
Kate: What?
Mark: I don't know. I keep telling myself that I should know the answer to this next question.

(She laughs at him.)

Kate: I can't tell what you to do Mark.
Mark: I know that.
Kate: Okay.

(He looks at her and smiles as they both continue to talk and catch up.)

Four Months later.

In Los Angeles.  CA.

On the set of The Lincoln Lawyer.

(Mark and Manuel are in the middle of a scene as someone Mark once worked with walks up and watches the scene unfold.)

In the scene.

Derek: Come on Mickey.
Mickey: No come on Derek. I didn't do this.
Derek: Mickey there's a body in your fucken trunk.
Mickey: I know this. But I didn't do this. I don't know who did this. But it wasn't me.

(Derek looks at him and then looks off annoyed  by what's going on.)

Derek: Who the hell is that anyway?
Mickey: One of my old clients.
Derek: Who?
Mickey: Sam Scales!

(Derek looks at him and then grabs out his phone to call someone.)

Mickey: Who you calling?
Derek: Maggie!
Mickey: No Derek come on.
Derek: Would you rather I call Lorna.

(Mickey laughs at him. As someone answers his call.)

Derek: Hey Mag's we got a problem.
Maggie: What's going on?
Derek: Mickey got pulled over.
Maggie: Why?
Derek: Missing license plate.
Maggie: That doesn't sound like Mickey.
Derek: It doesn't. And that's not the only thing.
Maggie: What?
Derek: He's got a dead body in the trunk.
Maggie: I'm on my way into LA now.
Derek: Okay. Be safe.
Maggie: I will be.

(Then he hangs up with her as the director calls cut and Mark looks at him.)

Manuel: How screwed do you think Mickey is?
Mark: I couldn't tell you.
Manuel: Why not?
Mark: You and Neve play the lawyers.

(They start laughing as Becky walks up to him.)

Mark: You okay?
Becky: There's someone back there wanting to talk to you.
Mark: Who?
Becky: She said she's acted with you before.
Mark: Do you know how many people I've acted with over the years.
Becky: She said she played your love interest in Without a Trace.

(Mark looks at her and then looks over at her.)

Becky: And she also said she played Kennedy in Buffy.

(That really catches Mark's attention when he looks at her again.)

Mark: Where is she?
Becky: Over there talking with Neve.
Mark: Okay.

(He walks off to go and talk to her.)

Neve: He's been running into alot of old co-stars.

(She laughs at her as Mark walks up to.)

Mark: Iyari Limon as live and breath.

(She turns and looks at him.)

Iyari: Hi.
Mark: Hi.
Neve: I'll leave you two alone.
Mark: Thanks.
Neve: No problem.

(She walks off to go and talk to Manuel.)

Mark: You used the Buffy card really?
Iyari: I used the Without a Trace card. But she didn't believe me.
Mark: No she did. Becky use to watch it so.

(She laughs at him.)

Iyari: So you're in the Lincoln Lawyer now?
Mark: I was in the movie too. Same character just different actors.
Iyari: I know I saw the movie.
Mark: Yeah.  And Without a Trace really?
Iyari: What? It's the only thing we were in together that we were actually a couple in. Secretly might I add. But still a couple.
Mark: Until the episode where yours and Angela's characters went missing.
Iyari: But still a secret.
Mark: True.

(Then he sees the look on her face and sees she's no longer smiling.)

Mark: Iyari what's going on?
Iyari: I got a call from Alison.
Mark: Why?
Iyari: Michelle passed away.

(Mark looks at her and then looks off not sure of what to say to her.)

Mark: Oh god.
Iyari: Those were my wards. She was the first one to welcome me when I showed up on set.
Mark: I know that.
Iyari: You okay? You worked with her the longest.
Mark: Yeah. I did. I just don't know.

(She nods her head at him. Then his phone goes off. He grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number he answers it.)

Mark: Hey babe you okay?
Veracity: Mark where are you?
Mark: On set what's wrong?
Veracity: I need you to come to Los Angeles General.
Mark: Why?
Veracity: Baby it's Brian.

(Mark looks off but talks to his wife again.)

Mark: I'm on my way.
Veracity: Okay.
Mark: I love you.
Veracity: I love you too.

(Then he hangs up with her and looks at Neve as she walks up to him.)

Neve: You okay?
Mark: It's Brian I gotta go.
Neve: What's wrong?
Mark: He's in the hospital.
Neve: Go.

(Mark looks at Iyari.)

Iyari: Go. I'm a mother myself I know the pains of having a child in the hospital.
Mark: Okay. We'll catch up later.

(She nods her head at him as he runs off to go and be with his wife and son.)

Minutes later.

Over at Los Angeles General.

(Mark runs in and heads over to his wife.)

Mark: Veracity!

(She turns and looks at him as he reaches her. Seeing him she runs over to him and he quickly hugs her. As their hugging he looks at her bandmates who smile at him getting him to do the samething. Then they pull away from each other.)

Mark: What happened?
Veracity: I don't know. We were at home talking. When I heard Brian in the back screaming and Crying.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: Mark he was coughing up blood.

(Mark looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Shit.
Veracity: As soon as I noticed. We rushed him here.
Mark: Okay. He's gonna be okay.
Veracity: I know.

(She hangs onto him as they wait around for news on Brian.)

An hour later.

In the waiting room.

(Mark and Veracity are there with their friends still waiting for news on their son as some of Mark's other former co-stars walk over to them. Then Mark sees the doctor and walks over to her.)

Mark: How is he?
Paige: I'm sorry Mark it doesn't look good.
Mark: What?
Paige: We did a numberbm of tests and blood work done on him.
Mark: And?
Paige: We just got the test results back.
Veracity: And?
Paige: Mark! Veracity!
Mark: What?
Paige: We found traces of Rat poison in his blood.

(They both look at her and then to each other. Then Mark looks at her again.)

Mark: Rat poison?
Paige: Yes. Is there anyway he could of gotten into at your house?
Veracity: No. We don't have rat poison in the house.
Paige: Okay what about the garage?
Veracity: I don't know. Mark!

(He looks at her and she hugs him.)

Mark: We don't have any type of rat poison anywhere.
Paige: Okay. Well do you guys know where he would of gotten his hands on?
Veracity: I don't know. I really don't.
Paige: Okay. Mark I had to call in the police.
Mark: I kind of figured.
Paige: I'm sorry. This happened you guys.
Mark: Thank you.

(She smiles at him as she walks off and Mark looks at his wife who can tell what he's thinking.)

Veracity: Mark!
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: I had nothing to do with this.
Mark: I know. But whoever did is gonna make it seem like you wanted to harm Brian.
Serenity: Why would she want that?
Mark: She wouldn't. We all know how much she loves Brian. She loves both of our kids.
Charity: But someone doesn't wanna believe it.
Mark: Yeah and I know just the person. Only thing is we need proof.
Veracity: I'm sure you'll find it.
Mark: I know I will.

(She smiles at him as he smiles back at her.)

Iyari: Think he'll use his FBI brain.

(The people she walked up to him start laughing.)

Mark: My FBI brain really?
Iyari: Seemed fitting.
Mark: Of course it did. Babe this is Iyari Limon. She played one of the Potential's in Buffy.
Veracity: Wow. You have a nack for working with gorgeous women.
Mark: Why not. I married one.

(Veracity looks at him and then looks off blushing.)

Mark: Anyway.
Veracity: Right.
Mark: Iyari this is my wife Veracity.

(She smiles at him as she shakes her hand.)

Iyari: Nice to meet the woman he never shuts up about.
Mark: Hey.

(They start laughing at him as his phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the number he becomes annoyed and mutes it then he looks at them again. Which is when he sees the others with her.)

Mark: Sarah!
Sarah: Hi.

(He hugs her getting her to smile at him as he pulls away from her and shakes her husband's hand.)

Freddie: How you doing?
Mark: I've been better. Babe this is Sarah Michelle Galler and her husband Freddie Prince JR.

(She shakes his hand and her's.)

Mark: Hey Ali.
Alison: Hey.

(She hugs him. Then pulls away from her.)

Veracity: Two other gorgeous women.
Mark: Yes yes they are. But their all married.
Veracity: Oh.

(Mark laughs at her as she gets him in the stomach getting him to cough. As their sitting there talking Serenity realizes who one of the women is and says something getting them to look at her.)

Veracity: What?
Serenity: Mark you use to do those low budget films right?
Mark: Yes I did. Why you asking?
Serenity: I was just looking your friend up there and I found something that the both of you were in together.
Mark: If you're hinting at us being in King Cobera together. You don't have too. All you have to do is ask.
Serenity: Were you two dating in the movie?

(Mark looks at her and then to Iyari who looks off laughing.)

Mark: No. She was actually well even in the movie dating her husband.

(Serenity looks at him and laughs.)

Serenity: Oh.
Iyari: Although he did save me.
Mark: Barely.
Iyari: You still saved me.
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: I wanna see that scene.

(Serenity looks at her and laughs. As she shows Veracity the scene as she's watching it she sees the part where she sees the part where Iyari's striping and is trying to keep from laughing.)

Veracity: Wow. I can see what your husband sees in you.

(Iyari looks at her and then looks off blushing as Mark's phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is. He goes to ignore it but answers it.)

Mark: What?

(He walks off to go and talk to the person on the phone. Then the scene ends as Veracity hands the phone back to her bandmate.)

Veracity: Your husband is a lucky man.

(Iyari smiles at her.)

Iyari: So's yours.

(Veracity smiles at her as she looks over at Mark whose in a heated discussion with someone on the phone she walks over to him.)

Over by Mark.

Mark: No you listen I'm not about to help you and your boy toy screw Michael out of getting his kids back.
Willow: Mark please.
Mark: No. You and Drew knew there was going to be a day when Michael returned he was going to be fighting for his kids.

(She looks around the room.)

Willow: Mark their my kids too.
Mark: Funny seeing as to how. The only thing you have cared about these last several months has been Drew and Drew alone. So do me a favor lose this number and never call me again.

(Before he can hang up Drew takes the phone from her and tells Mark something that makes him laugh.)

Mark: Wow Drew.
Drew: What?
Mark: You and your brain washed little bitch don't get what you want so you go straight for the black mail.

(Mark waves Michael and Jason over to him.)

Drew: She just wants her kids In her life.
Mark: And she'll get them. Once she finally sees the lying bastard you are.
Drew: Now wait a minute.
Mark: You ever try and black mail me again and I'll be happy to tell Michael about what you tried to do to the family crept.

(Drew looks off annoyed.)

Drew: I.
Mark: Imagine if that little secret came out at the custody hearing. Or your little sex games with Nina Reeves.

(Drew looks around the room and then back at Willow whose talking With Nina.)

Drew: You son of a bitch.

(Then Mark hands his phone to Michael who takes it and talks to him.)

Michael: Actually the only son of a bitch in this is the man who fucked my wife. And continues to do so to this day. And continues to act like breaking up my family is no big deal. You try and bother Mark again or tell his wife what happened between him and Iyari Limon before he met her. I will end your career.

(Then he hangs up with Drew and they see Veracity there and he gets Mark's attention he turns and looks at his wife.)

Mark: Hey.
Veracity: Hey. What did they want?
Mark: They wanted me to help them get the kids back from Michael.
Veracity: And you said no.
Mark: And I said no.
Veracity: What happened between you and Iyari?

(Mark looks at her and then to Michael.)

Mark: I don't want to dump all of this on you now. Mainly with what's going on with Brian.
Veracity: I know that. But there is no good time to tell me.
Mark: It happened long before I met you.
Veracity: Mark!
Mark: I slept with her.

(She looks at him and then to the woman in question.)

Veracity: When?
Mark: While we were both on Without a Trace.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: She played my one and only love interest on there. She played Louisa Cruz.

(Veracity laughs at him. Then she looks at her.)

Veracity: Oh.
Iyari: Yeah.
Veracity: Why the one and only love interest?
Mark: When her character was killed off. My character couldn't take it much longer on the show or the city he was in.
Veracity: So you left Without a Trace during which season?
Mark: I left after the 6th season.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: She died at the end of the 5th season.
Veracity: Oh.
Mark: Me and Iyari never went that route off screen.
Veracity: Oh.
Mark: We've always been nothing but friends.

(Veracity smiles at him.)

(Mark looks at her and then to his wife again whose looking off not sure of what to say to him or do as Kate and Reagan rush in and over to them.)

Kate: Vera!

(She turns and looks at her sister as Mark leans onto the nurses station as his friends and the others watch as the light from both of Mark and Veracity's eyes pretty much go dark knowing what happened to their son. Mark then looks at Michael and Jason.)

Mark: If Drew had anything to do with what happened to my son. He's a dead man. Quartmaine or not.

(They both look at him and nods their heads.)

Veracity: Mark!

(He looks at her as he walks over to her and she quickly hugs him as he's got his wife in his arms he kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Kate: They shouldn't have to go through this.
Reagan: No they shouldn't. I'm gonna go call my mom and Oliver. Maybe they can help us out with their Drew problem.

(She walks off to go and call her brother as Mark pulls away from his wife and he kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

(She hugs him again as he looks at Michael and Jason again who feel bad for him know the hell their going through due to what's going on with their son.)

Veracity: I wanna see him.
Mark: Okay.

(They both walk off as Iyari and the others look at each other.)

Beca: There anyway a giant snake can come out of the sky and eat Drew Caine whole.

(They all look at them and then look off annoyed.)

Alison: You are right Iyari?

(She looks at her and laughs off the annoyance.)

Iyari: Never thought I would want a giant snake to come out of the sky and eat someone nearly as much as I do right now. And we don't even know their kids.

(They all nod their heads at her as they hear a little girl gasp in shock at hearing the voices and gets excited while she bounces in her aunts arms.)

Leslie: Aunt Jessica.
Jessica: What?
Leslie: It's Kennedy.

(Iyari looks over at her as hears what she said.)

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Jessica: Sorry. It's just she's been watching Buffy on Hulu and she's been watching season 7 on repeat. And then she's been on a Without a Trace kick.

(Iyari laughs at her.)

(She turns and looks at him and then looks at her aunt who starts laughing at her face.)

(Leslie looks at him and then looks off.)

Leslie: No. But daddy.
Mark: What?

(She puts her arms out for him. He takes her from his sister and looks at her.)

Leslie: Her hot.

(Mark looks at her and then to Iyrari who looks off blushing.)

Mark: Let's go see your brother.
Leslie: Okay. Bye Iyari.
Iyari: Bye.

(Mark smiles at her as they walk off.)

Alison: Yeah she is. And was wanting to hit on you.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

(They start laughing at her.)

Over in Brian's room.

(Mark walks in with their youngest.)

(Veracity looks up at her as Mark walks her over to her and hands her to her. Once she has her Mark kisses her getting her to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)

(She smiles at him as he kisses her again then pulls away from her.)

Veracity: Stay with me and the kids tonight.
Mark: I couldn't think of a better place to be.

(She smiles at him.)

Veracity: Okay.

(He smiles at her. He grabs a chair and sits down next to his wife his daughter and son. While they sit there Mark grabs Veracity's hand and holds it getting her to look at him.)

Mark: We're gonna find who did this.
Veracity: I know that.
Mark: Okay.

(She keeps a hold of his hand as they both sit there watching their son lying there fighting for his life. Over the next several days. Both of Mark and Veracity's friends and family are there for them including Mark's former co-stars who come and go to see how Brian's doing. In between them coming to see him Drew and Willow would show up and try to cause trouble which only pissed Mark off to the point to where he attacked them getting them into a fight while they were fighting. Both Michael and Jason ran in and over to them to break up the fight. Mark swings around and punches Michael in the face and he goes after Drew again and starts in on him as Jason grabs him and grabs him back and hangs onto him as Drew lies there badly beaten and not moving.)

Mark: I'm clam.

(Jason let's him go as he looks at Jason.)

Jason: You okay?
Mark: Yeah. Get your boy toy up and get the hell out of here. And stay the hell away from me And my family.
Willow: Mark!
Mark: NO. All you and this jackass have been doing is harassing my wife. Who is doing everything she can not to deck a brainwashed little bitch and her home wrecking boyfriend.

(She looks at him in shock and then looks at Veracity.)

Mark: If I find out that your boyfriend had our son poisoned. You two can kiss whatever this little fantasy of you two spending the rest of your lives together goodbye.
Willow: Mark!
Mark: You chose that loser over the man who was there for you during one of the hardest things you could of gone through. Michael was by your side. While you were fighting for your life. NOT DREW.

(She looks at the people behind him and can tell they wanna kill her.)

Mark: As long as you're with him and living under his roof. I want nothing more to do with you. Or Nina. I will be there for Michael to help him get his kids away from you and Drew. Please take the trash out for me will ya.

(Oliver nods his head at him as he grabs him up and Reagan pushes Willow back and out of the hospital. After their trouble with Drew and Willow ended Mark and Veracity remained glued to their son's side. Along with Mark's former co-stars who enjoy spending time with them and playing games with Leslie. Mainly Iyari who Leslie won't let leave until her brother wakes up so that he can meet her. Which only makes her parents laugh.)

Mark: Leslie!
Leslie: What?
Mark: She's got her own kids. She needs to go home and see.
Leslie: What about brother?
Mark: I'm sure when he wakes up. I can call her back here to meet him.
Leslie: Really?
Iyari: Yeah. You bet I can.
Leslie: Okay.
Mark: Are right.
Iyari: Okay.

(She stands up and looks at him as she grabs her jacket and walks out of the room.)

Mark: Iyari!
Iyari: Yeah.
Mark: Thank you.
Iyari: Anytime. He's gonna come through this.
Mark: I know he will.

(She smiles at him. Then she turns and walks out of the room and Mark kneels down next to his daughter.)

Mark: Your brother is gonna pull through this.
Leslie: I know. Daddy can I ask you something.
Mark: Yeah.
Leslie: Do you still love mommy?

(Mark looks at her and smiles.)

Mark: Yes I do. Very much. Why you ask?
Leslie: Just asking. Given how you're looking at Iyari.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: She's just a friend. She loves her husband. And I love your mom okay.
Leslie: Okay.
Mark: Okay.
Veracity: Mark!

(Mark looks at her and then down at their daughter.)

(He kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Veracity: Go. I'm sure Iyari wouldn't mind staying.
Iyari: I don't. Mark go.

(He smiles at them then he kisses both of his kids heads then pulls away from them as he rushes out of the room and off towards Port Charles. As he's walking out he calls someone who quickly answers.)

Mark: Curtis I'm gonna need you and Portia at Drew's house.
Curtis: Why? What's going on?
Mark: The fucker poisoned my son and plans on getting away with it.
Curtis: Fuck.
Mark: And I'm gonna kill him.

(Then he hangs up with him as he continues on his way out of the hospital Quickly followed by all three of Mark's former female co-stars husbands.)

Hours later.

In Port Charles, NY.

At Drew and Willow's house.

(Mark and the others walk up to it and knocks on the door. Then he waits for them to answer. Then the door opens and Mark looks at who it is.)

Babysitter: Can I help you?
Mark: Yeah. I'm looking for Congressman Caine and Ms. Tait.
Babysitter: Their not home at the moment.
Mark: You have any idea on where they went?
Babysitter: The courthouse.
Mark: Why the courthouse? The custody hearing isn't until June,2nd.
Babysitter: According to the Congressman. They had a last minute cancelation.
Mark: And it's today?
Babysitter: Yeah.
Mark: Okay thank you.
Babysitter: You're welcome.

(Then they turn and walk off as they walk off their all laughing.)

Efrin: Damn dude.
Mark: I have problems with Drew not her. She wouldn't of deserved the back lash.
Freddie: We hear ya.

(Mark nods his head at him as they continue onto his car.)

Minutes later.

At the courthouse.

(Mark and his friends walk into the courthouse and towards the courtroom as their getting there they come up to Michael and Sasha.)

Michael: Mark!
Mark: Hey.
Sasha: What you doing here? Are you okay?
Mark: No I'm not.
Michael: What's wrong?
Mark: Me and Veracity just found out who poisoned our son.
Sasha: Who?
Mark: Your soon to be ex wife's boy toy.

(Michael looks at him and then to his ex.)

Sasha: Oh my god.
Michael: You tell anyone?
Mark: I did. Dante and Chase are on the way.
Michael: Okay good.

(Then they see them. Seeing them Mark is doing everything he can not to go after him. Seeing the look on Mark's face. Drew knows he knows the truth about what he had done to his son.)

Sasha: Mark!

(Mark looks at her and then grabs out his phone and calls his wife who answers on the first ring.)

Veracity: Hey honey.
Mark: Hey sweetheart.

(He walks away from them to go and talk to her.)

Veracity: Mark!
Mark: Sorry. I was just staring at Drew and his brainwashed little bitch.
Veracity: They try anything?
Mark: No. But it's good thing Sarah sent her's Allison's and Iyari's husbands with me.
Veracity: Why?
Mark: Other than hearing your voice and them being here. I'm fighting the urge to go and beat the hell out of him for what he did to Brian.
Veracity: I know baby.
Mark: He's our little boy Vera.
Veracity: Yeah baby I know.

(Then she hear something on his end.)

Veracity: Where are you?
Mark: The courthouse.
Veracity: Why? I thought the custody hearing was on June,2nd.
Mark: According to Willow and Drew's babysitter he told her that the judge had a last minute cancelation.
Veracity: Does Michael know?
Mark: Yeah he's here with Sasha.
Veracity: Okay. Babe you sure you're okay?
Mark: Yeah love I'm fine. How is Brian?
Veracity: He's the same. Mark I'm getting worried.
Mark: I know. Rat poison isn't something to be messed with.
Veracity: I know that. Mark what we gonna do if he doesn't make it.

(Mark puts his head down not sure of how to answer to that.)

Mark: I don't know. I really don't know.
Veracity: Babe.
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: Do me a favor.
Mark: Anything.
Veracity: Don't do anything that'll cost me and the kids to lose you.

(They both remain on the phone until he hangs up with her and looks at his friends. Then he walks over to them and starts talking with them.)

An hour later.

In the courtroom.

(Mark's sitting there thinking as Kate and Reagan walk into the courtroom and sit down next to Mark as they all continue to listen to testimony from everyone at the hearing. While their listening Mark! Kate and Reagan are trying to keep from laughing as they listen to what Drew is saying. Once his testimony is over they all start laughing at him getting him to look over at them including Ric and the judge.)

Drew: You find that funny?
Mark: Just alittle bit. I find it funny how you say you love Willow Amelia and Wiley.
Drew: I do.
Mark: But not once have I heard you say how much you love your own daughter.

(Drew looks at him and then to the judge.)

Mark: Hell when Michael showed up to the nurses ball last week. You ran off with Willow to help her catch up with her husband. To get her son back. You left your daughter there without a fucken care in the world.

(Drew continues to stare at him.)

Mark: I can believe you love Willow. I can. But don't expect me and everyone else in this room to believe that you love those kids. You and that uprooted those kids from their home and are trying to make it seem like Michael would abandoned his own kids. While he was in Germany trying recover from burns he got in a fire. And While over there you decided to move his wife and his kids in your house.

(Drew looks at him.)

Mark: When Sam died. Jason wanted to make peace. Call it truce between the two of you. But you wouldn't go for it. And then when Cyrus turned up dead. Instead of giving Jason an albi for the time of the murder you  being who you are.
Drew: Who am I?
Mark: A jealous prick who will do anything to get what he wants doesn't matter the cost to his nephew's kids life. Hell you didn't care enough about your nephew not to fuck his wife.

(Drew looks at him and then back at the judge.)

Mark: You and Willow can continue to play the innocent victims all you want. And believe you two have this fairytale love that no one else has. But you'd be wrong. You two are just like everybody else. Or how Michael and Willow were before his uncle decided he was gonna below his marriage. You haven't been helping Willow Drew. You've been making harder for her to get her kids. Mainly when you had been fucking her mother while you were trying to break up your nephew's marriage.

(Drew looks back at Nina at who looks off not sure of what to say as Willow looks at her mother as of not sure of what to say.)

Willow: You and Drew?

(Drew turns and looks at her then rushes over to her.)

Mark: Dante! Chase!

(They both walk over to him and quickly grab him.)

Drew: Hey what the hell is going on here?
Mac: Drew Caine you are under arrest for the attempted murders of Michael Corinthos Quartmaine. And Brian Scott Buchanan. You have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during question. If you can't afford to have an attorney present one Will be prevented to you by the Justice department. Do you understand these rights that have just been read to you?
Chase: Or would you like him to read them to you again?
Drew: No I understand them.
Dante: Good let's go.

(They take Drew out of the courtroom as Willow sits down knowing there's nothing more she can do. But takes the ring off and walks over to Michael who looks at her as she puts the ring down.)

Willow: I know no amount of apologizing will take away the pain I put you through. I wasn't seeing it then. But I am now. I'm sorry Michael. I just hope some day you can forgive me for the hell I put your through. No one deserves to go through what you did.

(Then she walks off as Michael remains there as he grabs the ring and looks at then he sits back in his chair.)

Carly: Michael!
Michael: I never thought she'd actually apologize and mean it.
Carly: Drew was really messing with her mind.
Michael: She just wasn't seeing it. Until recently.
Carly: Yeah.

(He remains there thinking until he gets up. And runs after his wife.)

Out in the hallway.

(Michael runs out of the courtroom and finds Willow standing there.)

Michael: Willow!

(She looks up at him.)

Willow: Yeah.
Michael: I want you in the kids life. I know what I said and I shouldn't of.
Willow: I love our kids Michael. If I had known the kind of man Drew was. I never would of gotten involved with him. Not that is an excuse. I know it's a shit one.
Michael: Yeah.
Willow: Drew had me so convinced everyone was against me and I didn't wanna see it or hear what anyone else had to say. Until the whole thing with Mark's son.
Michael: So you knew?
Willow: I had a feeling. I tried to talk him out of it. But.
Michael: What?
Willow: He said Ava and Ric put him up to it.

(Michael looks at her and then looks off annoyed.)

Michael: Tell me you told someone.
Willow: I did. I went and told Mac.
Michael: And?
Willow: Why you think Mac was here.

(He nods his head at her as Anna walks out with both Ava and Ric cuffs seeing them being walked out Michael laughed at them. Then they see Kristina who laughs at them and walks off saying something as she walked by.)

Ava: What you say?
Kristina: I said it's about time. You two finally pay for your crimes. By the way.
Ric: What?
Kristina: I never tried to kill you. And if even I did.
Ava: What?
Kristina: I wouldn't be stupid enough to do it in a parking garage.
Ava: I.

(Then they walk off with them as Mark walks out of the courtroom. As Kristina looks at him.)

Kristina: How's Brian?
Mark: He's okay. And for their sake he better live.

(Then he walks off to go back to LA and be with his family and hopes his son will live.)

The Following day.

Back in Los Angeles.

At Los Angeles General.

(Mark walks into his son's room and sees him still sleeping then he walks over to his wife and sits down next her. Over the next several. days. Both Mark and Veracity wait to see if the doctors have been able to drain out the rat poison from Brian's system. The longer they wait the more nervous they both get that their gonna lose him until one day he started opening his eyes and looked at them.)

Brian: Mommy! Daddy!

(Both Mark and Veracity wake up and look at him.)

Veracity: Brian!
Brian: Water.

(Mark sits up grabbing him some water. Once he has it he helps him drink it then he puts the water down and kisses his head then he pulls away from it.)

Mark: We love you buddy.
Brian: I love you guys too daddy.

(Both Mark and Veracity hug him getting him to hang onto both of his parents and that's how both Kate and Reagan find them sleeping next to their son who their both very grateful that he's still alive and with them.

In Gotham.

At Kate and Reagan's house.

In the livingroom.

(Kate's sitting there thinking about Reagan and the future she wants to have with her and thinks about the hell Mark and Veracity went through the year before due to Brian being in the hospital From rat poisoning thanks to Drew Caine. Who everyone in their friends and family are very grateful that Drew along with Ava and Ric are in prison for what they helped Drew do to Mark's family. Soon after all of the drama known as Drew Caine ended. Both Michael and Willow sat and talked about them and the hell they both had gone through thanks to Drew since their talk they have grown closer to each other again and are working on getting their family back together. As for Mark and Veracity after their nightmare about what had happened to Brian they both separated after about four months of separation they both decided it was time to end their marriage and move on with their lives which upset the kids. But they both decided to shared custody so that the kids can see both of their parents. Soon after the divorce Mark had a run in with his former co-stars from his Without a Trace days and he caught up with them talking and joking around.)

At Kate and Reagan's.

In the livingroom.

(Kate's still sitting there thinking as someone walks into the Livingroom and sees her there.)

Mark: Uh-oh.

(She turns and looks at him.)

Kate: Hey.
Mark: Hey. Where's?
Kate: She's out with KJ shopping.
Mark: Ahh.
Kate: What you doing here?
Mark: I can't come and see my former sister in law?
Kate: Of course you can. I just thought.
Mark: That's in two weeks. I was coming to see if you and Reagan wanted to go.
Kate: To see Scream 7?
Mark: Yeah. KJ will get to see some of the new and old characters.

Mark: Now come on Kate. Don't blame Neve for mine and Veracity's divorce. She wasn't even aware we had split up.

Mark: No. She got back together with Manuel.
Kate: I'm sorry.

Kate: Well that's great to hear.
Mark: Yes it is. Anyway.
Kate: Anyone else going?
Mark: Yeah Michael and Willow are taking Scout and Wiley. Scout with Permission from Alexis.

Mark: Some of my former co-stars from Buffy and all of them from Without a Trace.

(Kate looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: I'm sure I have an Idea.
Kate: Including Brian and Leslie.
Mark: Yeah. But I have a feeling they'd be more excited to see Iyari again.

(They start laughing then calm down. Then the front door opens and Reagan walks in with KJ right behind her along with Veracity Brian and Leslie.)

KJ: Momma we're home.
Kate: Okay baby girl. Come into the livingroom.
KJ: Why?
Kate: I've got a surprise for you and your cousins.

(Brian and Leslie look up and rush off towards the livingroom as they get there they see someone there.)

Brian: Who is it Aunt Kate.

(He turns and looks at them.)

Brian: Daddy.
Mark: Hey.

(He runs over to him and he quickly jumps into his father's arms getting him to laugh at him.)

Brian: You okay daddy?
Mark: Yeah buddy I'm fine. Hey Les.
Leslie: Hi daddy.

(She walks over to him and hugs him. Then she pulls away from him. Then Mark puts Brian down after kissing his head. Once he's down Mark looks at his yet again ex wife.)

Mark: Cal and the others wanna kill me again?

(Veracity laughs at him.)

Veracity: Kill no. Hurt yes.
Mark: Oh boy.

(She smacks him getting him to laugh.)

Veracity: You're bad.
Mark: I know. How you doing?
Veracity: I've been better.
Mark: I'm sorry.
Veracity: Not your fault.
Mark: Feels like it.
Veracity: It's not.
Mark: Okay. Anyway. Two weeks.
Veracity: We'll be there.

Veracity: You had a Without a Trace reunion didn't you?

Mark: Good. They teased me about mine and Iyari's characters if was awesome.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Veracity: You and her still spending time together?
Mark: As much as we can. Yes she's still married.
Leslie: No her not.

(Both of her parents turn and look at her.)

Mark: What?
Leslie: Her and her husband divorced.

(Mark looks at her and then to his ex.)

Veracity: Wow.
Mark: Yeah.
Brian: Daddy.
Mark: Yeah.
Brian: You can be with Louisa in real life too.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: She just went through a divorce baby boy. And so did we.

(Brian looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Mark: Maybe someday okay.
Brian: Okay. But why?

(Mark laughs at him.)

Mark: I wanna focus more on being a good dad. To you and your sister. And then I'll focus on my love life.
Brian: Okay.
Mark: Okay. Well you stay here with your mom. Okay.
Brian: Okay.
Mark: Hey cheer up.
Brian: Why?
Mark: Two weeks.
Brian: Two weeks.

(Mark looks at him and it hits him.)

Brian: Scream!
Mark: Yes.
Brian: YAY.

(He jumps into Mark's arms getting him to laugh at him and he also goes over.)

Veracity: Oh my god Mark.
Mark: I'm good.
Brian: Mommy Scream in two weeks.
Veracity: I know baby boy just don't break your father. The Scream Fandom still need him.
Brian: Oh. Daddy you okay?
Mark: Yeah I'm good.

(He kisses heas then pulls away from it as he looks at his ex.)

Veracity: Well you can't say he's not excited for Scream 7.
Mark: No I can't.

(She puts her hand out for him and helps him up once he's up he looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: Thank you.
Veracity: Anytime.

(As their staring at each other his phone goes off and he grabs it out to see who it is. Seeing the. Number he answers it.)

Mark: Hey. I heard. You are right.

(He walks off towards Kate and Reagan's back porch. As he gets out there he closes the door and talks with her.)

Veracity: Well at least he isn't showing he's interested right in front of me.

(Both Kate and Reagan smile at her.)

Kate: He's not like a lot of men. He's a friend before anything else.
Veracity: I know that. It still hurts knowing he's moving on.
Reagan: Hey KJ take your cousins up to your room to play.
KJ: Okay. Come on guys.

(They walk off with KJ to go upstairs. Once their upstairs Kate looks at her sister.)

Kate: Why'd you want the divorce really Vera?

(Veracity looks at her.)

Kate: And don't use Iyari or Neve as the excuse.

(She looks off.)

Veracity: I thought it be something he wanted.
Reagan: Vera that look on Mark's face when you asked for yet another divorce told me and Kate he didn't want one.

(She looks off annoyed with herself.)

Kate: Vera you can't keep doing this to him.
Veracity: Doing what?
Kate: Getting back together with him and then breaking up with him. It's not fair to him or to the kids.

(She looks off.)

Reagan: She's right. Mark would do anything for you and the kids.

(Veracity looks at them and then looks over at her ex whose on the phone with one of his old co-stars. Then he Walks back into the house and sees both of Kate and Reagan's face.)

Mark: What's going on?
Kate: Talk to your ex wife.

(Mark looks at them confused.)

Mark: Okay.

(Both her and Reagan walk off once their out of ear shot.)

Mark: What's going on?
Veracity: Their not to happy with me.
Mark: Why not?
Veracity: For the reason why I divorced you.

(Mark nods his head at her.)

Mark: Why'd you ask for the divorce?
Veracity: Neve Campbell and Iyari Limon!

(Mark looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Mark: You divorced me over my friendships with Neve and with Iyari. Who at the time was married.
Veracity: I know that.

(Mark looks at her and laughs. He walks over to her and she looks at him.)

Mark: Do you still love me?
Veracity: Yes I do.
Mark: So why would you think I would want to be with someone else while I'm happily married to you?
Veracity: Mark we've divorced before. Because of Aries.
Mark: I know.
Veracity: I was afraid you'd do it again with Neve and then Iyari showed up.
Mark: Vera Iyari's just a friend.
Veracity: I know.
Mark: I mean was I thrown when Leslie mentioned that Iyari had just gone through a divorce. Yes I was. But she knows my heart still belongs to you.

(She looks at him and smiles.)

Veracity: I'm sorry.
Mark: Why?
Veracity: Because I broke your heart when I asked for the divorce.

(He pulls her closer to him.)

Mark: I did it first.
Veracity: Are we keeping score.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I hope not.
Veracity: Why not?
Mark: I'd end up losing.
Veracity: How's that?
Mark: You're so much prettier then me.

(She laughs at him. Then she grows serious.)

Mark: What?
Veracity: You know I still love you.
Mark: I do. But I'm feeling like a but is coming.
Veracity: But. Mark we don't work. We try this we're happy and then someone else you know comes along and I just.
Mark: Wait wait. You honestly think I'd cheat on you. I  made that mistake once. And I told you I'd never do it again.
Veracity: I know you did.

(Mark looks off as she looks at him.)

Mark: So we're done for good?
Veracity: Yes.
Mark: Okay than. I'll see you in two weeks.

(He walks off around her and out of the house. As he walks out she turns and looks at the door.)

Veracity: Fuck.

Two weeks later.

Out in Los Angeles, CA.

At the theater.

(The cast and Crew of Scream start showing up and are quickly bombarded by reporters who are asking them questions about the movie how it was to be working with each other. Mark Neve and Courtney all picked at each other. Given how long the three of them have worked together.)

Mark: Rude.

(They start laughing at him.)

Reporter: Mark!

(He looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah.
Reporter: How's your son?
Mark: Brian is good. He's getting bigger and bigger everyday.
Reporter: That's great to hear.
Mark: It is.

(They excuse themselves and walk off to go and talk to some more reporters. While Mark Neve and Courtney along with the other cast members are talking with the reporters about the movie.)

Later that night.

At the after party.

(All of the cast and the crew along with their guests are celebrating a great release of the new Scream movie. Their all walking around talking and joking around as Kevin walks up onto the stage and call all three legacy characters up there with him and they stand there with him he starts telling the story of how the movies came about and how Mark just walked onto the set of the first movie which got them laugh.)

Mark: In My defense.
Courtney: What.
Mark: I thought I had just walked onto the set of Friends.

(She looks at him as they start laughing again.)

Neve: Thirty years and Mark's still lucky he's alive.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah that's true actually.
Kevin: Anyway. I just wanted to say a big thank you too these three for always being there and helping me and Wes before create not one but Seven Scream movies and I look forward to working with them again in the near future.

(They all look at him and smile at him.)

Kevin: Now that is out of the way.
Mark: Uh-oh.
Kevin: This man has been working a special project along with former co-stars.

(Mark laughs at him.)

Mark: Yes.
Kevin: Wanna tell us about it.

(Mark laughs at him. As he goes into explaining the new project he was working on and tells everyone when it airs and what it airs on.)

Mark: But for everyone here tonight and a nig thank you to Kevin for letting us hijack Scream's big night and show you a special showing of this one and only episode. Well more like a movie but. Anyways here we go.

(They walk off of the stage and head back to their seats as the lights in the room go out and the screen comes up showing them the New York City sky line which catches his ex and his kids attention and it only all becomes all the more clear when they see a very familiar office in the episode.)

(She looks at Mark whose trying to keep from laughing.)

In the episode.

(Someone's walking towards their old desk and looks around the office. As he's looking around someone walks into the office but pays no mind to them. Until he sees them but looks at his old desk. Then he disappears.)

Outside of the show.

(Veracity looks at Mark again but he's got his eyes on the screen so she goes back to watching it.)

In the Episode.

At the FBI building.

In the Missing Persons Unit.

(An elevator dings and someone walks off of it and walks over to their office and to their desk as their cell phone goes off and they answer it.)

Vivian: Johnson!
Kelly: Agent Johnson!

(Vivian looks up when she hears the voice of the girl or well woman they haven't seen in over ten years.)

Vivian: Kelly!
Kelly: Yeah.
Vivian: You okay?
Kelly: Depends on who you ask.
Vivian: What do you mean?
Kelly: Eric's Missing.

(Vivian falls silent on the other end.)

Vivian: What?
Kelly: Eric's Missing. Me and Tito haven't seen or heard from him in two days. We're becoming worried..
Vivian: Where are you?
Kelly: I'm at a coffee shop up town.
Vivian: Can you tell me the address.
Kelly: Yeah.

(She tells her the address and then she hangs up.)

Vivian: Damn it. Hey Sam.

(Samantha looks up at her then she walks over to her.)

Samantha: What's up?
Vivian: That was Kelly Corcoran.

(Samantha looks at her thrown.)

Samantha: Kelly we haven't seen or heard from her since Louisa was killed.
Vivian: I know.
Samantha: What's wrong?
Vivian: She wants to meet up.
Samantha: What's wrong?
Vivian: Eric's Missing.
Samantha: Oh my god.
Vivian: She says he's been missing for two days.
Samantha: Want me to come with?
Vivian: Yeah. We'll run this by Jack when we get more information on him.

(She nods her head at her as they both walk off as the screen goes black and the opening credits start up with the cast of the show start showing up and Mark smiles at it as he looks over at his ex again. Then he looks back at the screen as the opening credits ends it shows the Cast of the episode on the screen making alot of Mark's friends and family scream getting him to laugh. When the Show comes back on they show long Mark's character has been missing and the guest stars in the episode.)

At the coffee shop.

(Vivian and Samantha walk in and look around for her. Seeing them walk in Kelly waves at them and they walk over to her.)

Samantha: She's grown up.
Vivian: She has. Kelly!

(She smiles at them as she stands up and they both hug her. Then they pull away as they sit down.)

Samantha: How you been?

(Kelly laughs at her.)

Kelly: I've been better.
Vivian: How's her brother?
Kelly: Still missing his sister.

(They both nod their heads at her.)

Samantha: We're sorry we could never find the person who did it.
Kelly: We don't blame you guys. The person who did it yes. But not you guys.

(They nod their heads at her.)

Samantha: So what's going on?
Kelly: Me and Tito have been doing some looking into Louisa's case.
Vivian: What about it?
Kelly: It's just something didn't seem right about the accident just didn't sit well with us.
Vivian: What about it?
Kelly: We've been doing a lot of thinking and We think Louisa's accident might of been a set up.

(They both look at her as Samantha pulls her note book out along with Vivian.)

Samantha: When was the last time you saw Eric?
Kelly: Two days ago.

(They sit there talking with her about Eric. Then the screen goes black again.)

Acouple of hours later.

(The show is still going and their getting close to finding Mark's character.)

In the show.

Out in the woods.

At the cain.

(Vivian and the other agents are looking around the cabin.)

Jack: Clear.
Samantha: Clear.
Vivian: He's not here.

(Then someone sneaks up on them. And goes to fire at them. But someone comes out of the woods and shoots them in the chest getting them to turn and see the very person they've been looking for.)

Jack: Eric!

(He looks at him and smiles.)

Eric: Hi ya boss.
Samantha: Eric!

(He smiles at her as he walks over to them and they see how badly beaten he is.)

Eric: Hi.

(They walk over to him and she hugs him getting him to laugh. Then she pulls away from him.)

Eric: It's good to see you guys too.

(They laugh at him.)

Jack: You are right?

(Eric looks at him and then down at the body of the man he killed.)

Eric: This is the son of a bitch who was going after Louisa.
Samantha: Oh god Eric.
Eric: I'm okay. Now at least.

(They all look at him as they see someone come out of the woods and towards them.)

Martin: Is that?
Eric: Yeah. Baby.

(She walks over to him.)

Danny: Oh my god.
Elena: Louisa!

(She smiles at them.)

Vivian: Wow. We thought.
Louisa: I know what you all thought. And it was the only way I could keep him off of my trail. And it worked for awhile.
Jack: Let's take him to a hospital to look over him and over and I'm sure Louisa.
Louisa: Yeah.
Vivian: Okay.

Back in the city.

At the FBI building.

In Jack's office.

(Jack's at his desk working on paperwork as Eric walks up to his office and knocks on the door. Getting him to look up at him and he waves him into the office.)

Jack: I gotta tell ya.
Eric: I'm sorry. I know I put you and the other's through hell.
Jack: You did. But you did it for a good reason.
Eric: I got a lead about Louisa's accident bring fake and I ran with it.
Jack: And you didn't wanna involve her sister in law and brother?
Eric: I didn't want to get their hopes up in case it wasn't her.
Jack: When did you realize she was alive?
Eric: About an hour before I was taken.
Jack: Eric!
Eric: At first I thought it was Trent Barker. But then I remembered the person behind Louisa and Kelly's kidnapping was Lott Mardell.

(Eric continues to tell him about the case he was working on.)

Jack: When did you see Louisa again?
Eric: While I was missing.
Jack: Okay.

(Then the door opens and they both turn to see who it is.)

Eric: Hey Babe.
Louisa: Hey.
Jack: Hey.
Louisa: You two okay?
Jack: Yeah. I'm just sitting there thinking.
Eric: What?
Jack: The sameday she was killed.
Eric: What?
Jack: Is the sameday that Davis kidnapped Ann.

(Eric and Louisa look at him and then to each other.)

Louisa: Think he was in on it?
Jack: I wouldn't be surprised. I'm glad you're alive and okay.
Louisa: So am I.

(They both remain in the office talking with him and then head out to talk to the other agents. Then the camera pans out and the show ends with the end credits roll and the lights come back on and they see the cast up on the stage while everyone continues to clap for them.)

Mark: Wow. You guys are louder then the New Kids fans.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Anthony: You I almost forgot how big of a smart ass he is.
Iyari: I haven't.

(Mark puts his head down laughing.)

Poppy: Oh the fun.
Kevin: Mark you guys wanna answer some questions.
Mark: If their up for it.

(They all nod their heads and they start answering questions and some the best way they can and it only gets adorable when Mark's son asks about who his favorite guest star was on the show.)

Mark: No pressure for this answer.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Enrique: Tride lightly Mark.

(Mark starts laughing then calms down.)

Mark: My son everyone.

(He starts laughing then calms down.)

Mark: Brian come here.

(He runs up onto the stage and over to Mark who picks him up.)

Mark: Do me a favor.
Brian: What?
Mark: Tell them my favorite guest stars was.
Brian: Okay. It was her.

(He points next to Mark at Iyari who looks off laughing.)

Mark: Anyway. What you think?
Brian: I loved it.
Mark: You wanna announce it.
Brian: What?

(Mark tells him in his ear and he looks at him.)

Brian: Really?
Mark: Yeah.
Brian: Mommy.

(Veracity looks at him.)

Brian: Without a Trace comes back this fall.

(Everyone stands up and starts clapping for them as Mark kisses his son's head then pulls away from it.)

Later that night.

At the hotel.

In Kate and Reagan's room.

(Kate's sitting down on the bed thinking as Reagan walks into the room and sees her there.)

Reagan: Hey.
Kate: Hey.
Reagan: You okay?
Kate: Yeah. I've just been thinking is all.
Reagan: About what?
Kate: About us and our future.
Reagan: What about it?

(Kate stands up and walks over to her pulling a box out of her pocket and Reagan looks at her.)

Kate: Reagan Queen!
Reagan Yeah.
Kate: Will you marry me?

(Reagan looks at her and smiles.)

Reagan: Yes.
Kate: Yes.
Reagan: Yes I'll marry you.

(Kate grabs the ring out and places it onto Reagan's finger. Once she has it on her finger and she kisses her sending them back onto the bed as their kissing she deepens it sending them into a love a making session.)

Over by Mark's room.

(He's in there watching television as someone knocks on the door. He gets up and walks over to the door as he gets to the door he opens it and finds Iyari there.)

Mark: Iyari!

(She looks at him and does something she's been wanting to do for so long and kisses him.

A month later.

In Gotham.

At Kate and Reagan's house.

In the dining room.

(Kate's sitting there going over some wedding planning things as someone knocks on the door.)

Kate: It's open.

(The door opens and Mark walks in followed by Veracity.)

Mark: Hey.
Kate: Hey. Vera I know him don't I.

(Mark looks at them and laughs.)

Mark: Oh boy.
Veracity: What? It's not everyday our kids learn that their favorite FBI show is coming back and with It's original cast.
Mark: True.
Reagan: When does it premiere anyway?
Mark: September,24th.
Veracity: Wow.
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: When do you guys start filming?
Mark: Well you guys just saw the first episode of the new season so.
Kate: Wait. That was the season opener?
Mark: Yup.
Kate: Wow.
Mark: Yeah. So when we do start filming it'll be the second episode so.
Reagan: That's awesome.
Mark: It is. I'm actually really excited to be working with them again.

(They all look at him and laugh.)

Reagan: You look it.
Mark: Anyway.
Veracity: How are things with you and Iyari going?

(Mark looks at her smiles.)

Mark: Their good.
Veracity: Can I tell you how much I appreciate you not rubbing it in my face about how happy you are.
Mark: You can. And I know you are. This whole thing with me and Iyari it's new and little weird to be honest.
Kate: Why?
Mark: I've honestly outside of Without a Trace. I never really saw her as anything other than a friend.
Kate: You do now.
Mark: Yeah I know.
Reagan: What's wrong?
Mark: Nothing. Actually she's coming over here.
Veracity: Okay.
Mark: I just don't know how I feel about my girlfriend and ex wife spending time together.
Veracity: We were in the same room together all night.
Mark: True.
Veracity: What you afraid I'll tell her all your dirty stories?
Mark: She knows all the stories.
Veracity: Not all of them.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: You mean the story of where Beca called you and your bandmates Everhotties?

(Veracity looks at him and then looks off getting Kate and Reagan to laugh at them.)

Veracity: Anyway.
Kate: Brian! Leslie! And KJ are downstairs watching all seven seasons of Without a Trace.

(Both Mark and Veracity laugh at them.)

Veracity: You had to get them all seven seasons?
Kate: What? They were all excited when they learned a month ago that the show was coming back.
Mark: True.
Reagan: I think their getting towards the end of the second season.
Mark: Okay.

(He walks off to go and see his kids. As he walks off Veracity puts her head down.)

Kate: Hey.
Veracity: I'm honestly grateful that he isn't rubbing his new relationship with Iyari in my face I really am.
Reagan: He didn't really do it with Aries either.
Veracity: I know that. I can honestly say he respects me enough not to do that.
Kate: He really does still love you.
Veracity: I know that. And I can tell. He loves her more.
Reagan: We're sure he likes her but.
Veracity: I did this. I broke his heart Kate. He has a right to move on with his life.
Kate: We know he does.

(She smiles at them.)

In the theater room.

(The kids are in there watching Without a Trace getting Mark to smile at them. Then the episode their watching ends.)

KJ: Final episode of the second season.

(Both Brian and Leslie look at her and nod their heads as KJ looks over at Mark and smiles at him which gets the kids attention and they turn to look at him.)

Brian: Daddy!
Mark: Hey.

(He runs over to him and he picks him up and kisses his head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: Catching up?
Leslie: Yeah. We can't wait for the new season Daddy.
Mark: I can't either. So what season you guys gonna be on next?
Brian: Three.
Mark: Really?
Brian: Yeah. Iyari!

(Mark turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Hey babe.
Iyari: Hey.
Brian: Babe.

(Mark looks at him and smiles.)

Brian: Oh.
Mark: We'll talk about it okay.
Brian: Okay. Her pretty.

(Mark smiles at him.)

Mark: Yes she is.
Brian: She make you happy?

(Mark smiles at him.)

Mark: Yes she does.

(Brian looks at him and then looks at Iyari. Then he looks at his father again and messes with his face getting him to laugh.)

Brian: Iyari!

(She looks at him as she walks over to them.)

Brian: I talk to you in private.

(Mark laughs at him.)

Leslie: Me too.
Iyari: Okay.

(Mark looks at his girlfriend and laughs.)

Mark: Should I stay?
Brian: No. Go talk to Aunt Kate and Reagan.
Mark: Okay.

(He puts him down and looks at Iyari.)

Mark: Good luck babe.

(She laughs at him as he walks off towards the door. And out of the theater room.)

Out in the livingroom.

(Mark walks in and looks at them.)

Mark: Vera!

(She turns and looks at him.)

Veracity: Yeah.
Mark: Our kids scare me.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Veracity: Let me guess.
Mark: Yeah.
Veracity: She make you happy?
Mark: Yes she does.
Veracity: As long as you're happy. That's all I can ask for.

(Mark smiles at her as Iyari walks out of the theater room.)

Mark: You okay?
Iyari: Your kids are scary.

(Mark walks over to her and she looks at him.)

Iyari: I know their protective.
Mark: They are.
Iyari: I feel like.

(She turns and walks off as Mark looks at Veracity and goes after his girlfriend.)

Kate: What the hell did you do?

(Veracity walks off and outside.)

Out on the porch.

(Mark rushes out and over to her.)

Mark: Iyari!

(She turns and looks at him.)

Iyari: I thought I could do this.
Mark: What?
Iyari: Your kids hate me.
Mark: What?  No they don't.
Iyari: Mark!
Mark: What?
Iyari: Why do I feel like i broke up your family.

(Mark looks at her.)

Mark: What? You didn't.
Iyari: I just.
Mark: What you saying.
Iyari: I can't do this anymore.

(She turns and walks off as Mark stands there. Realizing what she did he walks off after her and grabs her back getting her laugh at him.)

Mark: You're an ass.
Iyari: I know.
Mark: See with that stunt you're reminding me of a character.
Iyari: Who. And if you say Louisa I'm gonna hit you.
Mark: Actually I was gonna say Kennedy but hey.

(She laughs at him and then starts beating on him getting him to laugh at her he's able to grab her and she kisses him as their kissing their both smiling in it. Then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: So what really happened down there?
Iyari: They were just asking about things.
Mark: Like what?
Iyari: The normal thing kids ask when their parents are dating someone else.
Mark: Yeah. What they ask?
Iyari: If you make me happy.
Mark: Do I?
Iyari: Very. Do I make you happy.

(Mark places his hand onto her face getting her to smile at him.)

Mark: Very much. You know up until this.
Iyari: What?
Mark: Up until recently. I never really saw you as anything other than a friend.
Iyari: I was the sameway. You sure we can do this?
Mark: I want us too. I really like you alot.
Iyari: Yeah.
Mark: Yeah.

(She smiles at him.)

Iyari: You're a great guy Mark. And a great father. I can see how much you love your kids.
Mark: I do. I love them more than anything. Their two of the greatest things that came from my marriage with Veracity.
Iyari: I feel the sameway about mine. I love my kids. Their the best thing that ever happened to me.
Mark: Kids are the best.
Iyari: Yes they are. I'm in love with you.

(Mark looks at her and smiles.)

Mark: Really?
Iyari: Yeah. I won't lie to you Mark.
Mark: Okay.
Iyari: I kind of had a crush on you since we worked on Buffy together.

(Mark looks at her and laughs off shock.)

Mark: Wow.
Iyari: Please don't hate me.
Mark: I don't.
Iyari: What?
Mark: I don't.
Iyari: I just never wanted to say anything. Because of well.
Mark: Neve was just a friend.
Iyari: I know.

(Mark lifts her face to look at him.)

Mark: You know.
Iyari: What?
Mark: Finding out you were gonna be playing my one and only love interest on Without a Trace. I was Over the moon.
Iyari: Really?
Mark: Yeah.
Iyari: Why's that?
Mark: I was finally gonna be able to do this.

(He leans in and kisses her. As their kissing she smiles even more in it then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: I love you too.

(She kisses him again getting him to smile in it. Then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Come with me.

(They walk off towards his car and heads off to his apartment.)

Back inside of the house.

(Veracity's sitting down on the couch thinking about how she nearly destroyed ex husband's relationship with his new girlfriend. She just hopes she didn't mess it up to much.)

Minutes later.

At Mark's Penthouse.

In his bedroom.

(They both stumble into his room and quickly stripping off their clothes. As they get to the bed they both fall back onto it and Mark deepens it sending them into a love making session. Which goes through out the afternoon and into early evening.)

6 months later.

In Gotham.

At Kate and Reagan's house.

In the theater.

(Brian and Leslie are in there with KJ watching the final season of Without a Trace yet again. At least until the new one comes back. As their sitting there the door to the theater opens and Mark walks in with Kate and Reagan right behind him.)

Mark: Hey.

(They turn and look at them.)

Leslie: Daddy.
Mark: Hey. I got a surprise for you guys.
Brian: What?

(He pulls something out and shows it to them.)

Mark: You wanna see the trailer for the new season Of Without a Trace?

(Brian runs over to his father and grabs the DVD from him.)

Brian: I wanna see it now.
KJ: Okay.

(She takes it from him and goes over to the DVD player and puts it in after pulling the other disk out and places it onto the case then she walks back and sits down as Iyari walks into the room and looks at her boyfriend who turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Hey.
Iyari: Hey.

(He walks over to her and she smiles at him as he wraps his arms around her waste and they watch the Trailer to the new season of Without a Trace. While watching it Mark keeps his girlfriend in his arms getting her to smile at him. As the trailer ends. The kids get excited when they see the name of the show and when it starts as it finishes they turn and look at Mark who smiles at them.)

Brian: Daddy!
Mark: Yeah.

(He walks over to him.)

Brian: I wanna watch it again.

(Mark laughs at him as he nods his head at him.)

Mark: Have at it. Just don't drive your sister and cousin crazy with it okay.
Brian: Okay.

(He runs back over to them and they watch the trailer again. As their watching it Kate and Reagan smile at them and know how excited the kids are to see Without a Trace is back and can't wait for the first episode to premiere.
