Personality: Amari is a timid, calm individual. Amari, since the start, is conveyed to be a socially awkward, humble, and sweet guy with almost boundless generosity. Around others, he’s asocial and has an introverted nature to him, causing him to avoid people and confrontation. However, if approached, he acts polite and kind. He often apologizes a lot for issues that aren’t even his fault.
Despite his will to help people this trait of his is often exploited by others. He has always been influenced to think that his purpose in life lies in helping others because of his relationships with his ex-lover and peers. He doesn't believe he deserves to be the center of attention since he will ruin it for everyone and it wasn't designed for him. With that knowledge, he decided to play the role of someone that is a stepping stone for others' success. This is one of, if the main cause of his depression. He frequently forgets to eat meals and get enough sleep since he feels so inadequate, and as a result, he will go several hours without eating or getting enough rest. To pass up time, he’ll train. Which is a good thing but it often backfires as he overworks himself to the breaking point.
Compared to other Blue Lock players, Amari differs from them greatly. While some Blue Lock players do like Amari, others have a distaste for him due to his overly generous nature, considering it to be naive and stupid such as Rin Itoshi. The players that do like Amari however like him because of his kindness, or the fact he helps them a lot with favors. Once Amari awakens however, and slowly grows some backbone, is when other players begin respecting him more and more.

However their relationship is toxic as Rihanna is incredibly manipulative, and has an unpredictable short fuse that will make her go violent. Amari puts up with this however, because he does love her and thinks she just needs compassion. Sometimes he’d even blame himself, and believe he should do better in the relationship when in reality he’s done no wrong
