Chapter Text
Waltzing in a field of flowers is something she didn't really expect to do everyday, letting her feel the warmth of nature surrounding her as she prances in song that plays in her mind. She doesn't really care if someone tries to sneak up on her on this lovely day, their blood would ruin her dress that she worked so hard on though if that matters anyhow.
A rustle was heard from within the tall grass of the field, she looked with great interest on what made the sound. The sound moved across the area, like they were surveying each moves of hers. Ivory was now cautious of the noise, carefully pulling out a dagger she always carries till a hand was placed behind her shoulders.
"Found you!" the person exclaimed with a joyous tone, Ivory quickly hid her dagger away as she recognizes the voice. It was just her friend, Ebony Violin. "Why do you look so stressed? Come on, it is just me!" Ebony just smiled at her, Ivory sighed in relief as continues to walk in the field of flowers. "Hey! No hello or anything!?" The green-black haired girl ran after Ivory who was listening yet seemed her attention is somewhere else.
"Did I walk too far from the house?" Ivory asked to her companion as she plucked a beautiful dandelion. "Do you see a house anywhere?" Ebony waves her hands in every direction to show that they were indeed, far from the house. Ivory slightly giggled at her friend's actions, it was amusing. "I suppose I did walk too far. Apologies Ebony." the girl waved off the apology the second she heard it "Relax... I am not blaming you for walking this far, the field is pretty during this time of the year. Be happy that I didn't left anything in the oven that could burn the house down..." Ebony thought for a moment and paled.
"MY CUSTARDS!! Well, there goes most of my rent for the entire year."
"It is fine Ebony, I think I could rebuild the house with some cheap commands." Ebony groaned at the suggestion. "When we did that, we did not just summoned the Ender Dragon... We almost killed the entire world along with it!”
Ivory remembers that time, she almost destroyed her beloved house and her friend's cupcakes were almost in ashes just because she wanted a small chimney during the winter months. Safe to say that her property value decreased significantly by that incident.
“I think you are right, but still. We have to figure out going to the end. I still need to get that Elytra, getting Blazes to drop something is difficult. Perhaps you can persuade them Ebony?”
Ebony shook her head at absurd idea of it. “No in anyone’s name I am doing that! I would rather we summon the Ender Dragon again than me trying to convince a Blaze.”
“Worth a shot.”
”What do you mean worth a shot???”
”It is nothing.”
Ivory waved Ebony’s question away. Ebony looks like she was trying to look offended by what Ivory said but, she already saw the this same old banter from her friend.
It took a long time for Ivory to come out of her serious shell to just embrace life and all its chaotic essence. Sure, she had led that life, a life filled with chaos and endless amounts of blood was all she could see. But now, she saw the blood that was once there letting the flowers bloom. It was quite poetic in some ways.
A sudden breeze took out Ivory from her thinking, the clouds were turning into a dark grey instantly. The weather was getting harsher every moment.
“I think we should go back now Ebony.” Ivory says to her friend. No response from her was heard, she turned around to find Ebony disappeared.
”Ebony, it is time we go back now.” Ivory continued to speak, she was now looking around for her friend.
”Ebony. This isn’t funny. There is a storm approaching, we need to get home now.” She said with a stern voice, in hoping she would get an answer.
Suddenly a vine snapped out from the ground, grabbing Ivory’s dress. It was a black vine with the sharpest thorns adorning its body. “What the hell?” Ivory stomped the vine, putting it back into its place.
Another swarm of them emerged from the ground with sheer force, it tries to grab Ivory. She was skilled to dodge them and successfully sliced them off one by one.
“This isn’t good! Where is Ebony?!” She was more scared for her friend’s wellbeing more than the her predicament of vines relentlessly trying to take a hold on her.
The vines grew tougher and stronger as each moment passed. Ivory keeps her composure still as she continues to fight. Everything was getting more ridiculous every moment that was passing by.
A silhouette appeared in the distance, in what looks like to be Ebony. Ivory shouted to her housemate as she ran towards her, vines still chasing after her.
”Ebony! Ebony, are you alright?” As she gotten closer, she realized it was a trap. The silhouette of her housemate was no other than just some vines. The vines managed to take a hold of Ivory’s limbs as they dragged her towards the ground below. She saw this predicament getting worse as she tries to use her commands to stop the vines yet, something was overriding her command, letting the vines to take her down.
”I will not let this happen!” Ivory continues to struggle, but it was futile in the end. As she felt the vines taking hold of her and the ground engulfing her, she realized it was too late.
