- “It’s weird, Akira isn’t there? Is she making fun of us or what? “ Asks the blond guy.
Shin was at the JCC cafeteria with Natsuki for his last day here, it was Natsuki's idea who wanted to celebrate the event and also eat for free. Sitting at a table of four, the two young adults ate their steak, finally seba since Shin was watching all the arrivals at the canteen.
“Maybe she’s busy after all, she’s a real student..” said the engineer with a touch of sarcasm.
" No I do not think so. I’m sure it’s your fault you scared him again! or cried “the blond then replies.
“She came to see me yesterday to offer me some little cakes so… on the other hand you…”
“How’s that for me? “ he exclaims.
“you completely threw him away you crushed his feelings like paper! “ replies the black man who speaks between two mouthfuls of steak.
“stop the rhymes! I did not do anything !! “
" Look at ! “
He points with his fork at Akira who had just arrived at the cafeteria with Toramaru; she had a tray in her hand and did not seem to have noticed the two boys. However, Shin broke by making a sign to her and calling her by her first name.
“AKIRA AKIRA!!”
Finally Akao notices Shin and panics, she gives her tray to Toramaru before running away, Nao sighs while Natsuki takes the telepath's arm to make him sit down again.

“I thought this thing was settled… I would go talk to him after dinner”
“It’s a good thing... poor thing... seeing the guy she’s in love with reject him even I wouldn’t do it.. “ he replies calmly.

After the meal, Shin, as promised, went looking for Akira to talk to her before leaving. He had asked several people where she was but no one answered him... as if he was avoiding her. It was only after a quarter of an hour that Mafuyu told him that she was at the library and the blonde headed straight there, almost running.
When he arrived there the room was crowded with students. He looked around for his blue-headed friend but because of the crowd he couldn't arrive.

“No rudeness here,” replies the old lady who manages the library.

He begins to advance through the shelves looking for Akira and it is only after five minutes that the telepath sees Akira sitting on a two-seater table with books and a notebook, she seemed to be listening to music and was concentrate seeing how she bit her pen..
Shin walks towards her but when he reaches her he scratches his head before patting her shoulder.

“yes I have a big exam soon. “ she replies, turning off her music.
“otherwise how are you Akira? We haven't been able to speak for a long time! “ he said after sitting down opposite her.
‘ “I was quite busy… besides, you’re not leaving today.”
“just before leaving I would like us to discuss something together...” asks the blond guy, putting his hands on his books.
“okay” just answer akira turning his head you could see some redness appearing.
“last time...I didn't understand what was wrong with you...I thought you were just sick but I never thought it was because of me and what I said. “ he begins.

" Yes. let’s say it wasn’t easy to understand” said shin in a laughing tone.
“you understood it because someone said it or you understood it on your own. “

The only response Akira sighed.
" I was sure of it. well I'm sorry but I have to go.. as we won't see each other for a while I wish you good luck in the future! and be happy “replies blue calmly.
Then Akira takes her things and her cell phone before leaving and leaving Shin as hers. without any response.
And this is the last discussion between Shin and Akira since the latter had not come to say goodbye and the blond had not set foot in the jcc for several months. Now that Shin was back in the convenience store, he found Lu and Heisuke.
“You really are a shin ball” exclaims the redhead.
he was putting away the last stocks of food in the shelves with Lu who since his absence seemed to have gained rank to give orders to the blond boy which for him was just a simple excuse for not working.

“You have arranged the shelves incorrectly. you have to start again otherwise we will only have expired items in our solid store. “ she said, holding up a packet of chips.
“If you’re not happy, just see it yourself”
“But you can see that I’m busy fixing things,” she said.
“ Calm down children! Lu will deliver this package while shin you will refurbish the stock! “ says Aoi who then comes behind them, putting a hand on their shoulder.
out of fear, the two only answered “yes ma’am”. Lu turns to Shin one last time to make a face.
“since you came back from your university you haven’t stopped doing the ball and chain. it’s as if you were somewhere else,” she said before leaving.

Then Shin starts his work again with Madame Sakamoto who was stocking up on candy and looks from time to time at the blond guy who was sighing at the idea of doing it again but also seemed to be thinking of something else.
“Who are you thinking of shin” Aoi asks.

" lie. Lu is right since you came back, you seem to be elsewhere as if you regret something. do you want to talk about it? “Aoi asks again.
“I hurt a girl. and I blame myself. “
“did you apologize? “ asks Ms. Sakamoto shyly.

“this is the first time since I’ve known you that you seem to blame yourself… you must really be in love with her to do that!!” she laughed.
“I’m not in love with her,” he replies again.
“When you and Lu had an argument, did you blame each other, was it the same way? “

“That doesn’t help, Mrs. Sakamoto,” he said, putting away a bag of chips.
“go see her and apologize sincerely, maybe afterwards you will be less tormented. " she says.

Then he remembered that Akira had a house in town where his parents lived and since it was the weekend, Shin takes off his apron and takes his jacket while waving to his boss before leaving from the convenience store. It was not his habit to do this but it was perhaps the best solution. It's like he's running at full speed towards her house.
Thirty minutes later he arrives in front of her house and rings directly the rain fell and his hair and his clothes had fallen. seeing the door open he sees akira dressed in civilian clothes.

“Akira I am sincerely sorry for hurting you, it’s not my attention. I'm an idiot, I deserve your anger. I was never very good with it and it was worth it falling on you.. “
“Did you come here to tell me that? “ she replies.
“I would like you to forgive me. I’ve been trying to find the right words for two months… but… it’s not working “ Shin begged, kneeling in front of the front door.
“Did this time you really realize it on your own?”
" Yes. Besides, I’ve only just realized… that you really are a very pretty girl…” he said, looking at her.

She approaches him to pick him up, there were also drops of rain falling on her but for the moment she looked at Shin for a few minutes before leaning towards her to kiss him shyly on the lips for the first time. once akira felt butterflies in her stomach at the idea that the two were really kissing... like in her dream.
But the kiss did not last long due to a lack of oxygen.
“it’s really like in the movies” says shin ironically.

“it’s so cold I went out with only my jacket”
“you want to go back”
“I would have liked to but... work calls me so I have to leave. “ said shin

he moved away from her and gently pushed her towards the entrance before starting to leave he turned around to say.

“I promise,” he said before heading back to the store with a big smile.
And this time the duo actually went to eat together.
