Work Text:

Malleus Draconia was attractive.

Leona wasn’t above admitting it, anymore. His boyfriend was attractive. Appealing. Fine, he was hot. There would be times where Leona would look over and bore holes into Malleus instead of paying attention during a lesson, his mind drifting off to the fantasy of dragging the fae prince away and sleeping somewhere warm. Usually it was sleeping. Sometimes they’d bone. A lot of times they’d bone.

But Leona found Malleus attractive. From his soft, silky hair that Leona loved to run his fingers through, to his bright eyes that shone like peridots. To the way his skin radiated warmth, and how soft his hands were when they touched. How his voice was smokey and low, pitching only when Leona bit into the soft, sensitive spot against his neck or when the beastman thrusted and pressed into just the right spot that had the fae seeing stars and babbling nonsense, spit clinging to his lips.

And his lips. Leona had found himself often watching those lips when Malleus spoke, how they curled back into a smile when he laughed, or tugged when he was pouting. How he dug his teeth into his lower lip when Leona whispered dirty words into his ear, promising something special when they were able to be alone. He loved how soft they felt when they kissed, Leona always chasing after for more when they broke apart for air, earning Malleus's laughter and comments of being so impatient.

He loved how those lips would ghost against his skin when Malleus held him close, whispering words of affection and adornment while he thrusted into Leona, most times treating the second born prince like porcelain.

And Leona loved when those lips moved, curving and stretching while Malleus talked. It could be about anything, a lot of time it was about stuff Leona couldn't care less about, he loved watching Malleus speak. Right now, he laid back in the fae prince's bed, watching lazily as Malleus spoke about something that Leona was only half paying attention to.

"... and I really don't think it's that much of a problem." Malleus sighed, glancing into the mirror, frowning slightly as he raised his hand, brushing a finger against his lower lip. "But Grandmother insists that I speak with her on the subject."

"Mhmm." Leona's gaze followed the finger as it swiped some of the dark lipstick that had begun to smudge.

"And when I spoke to Lilia about it, he took her side!" Malleus pouted, "I just think the whole thing is utterly ridiculous."

"Uh-huh." Leona's ear twitched as his eyes zoned in on those lips while they moved, Malleus's words falling into an unintelligible muffle as Leona felt the urge to smother them with his own lips.

He could imagine it, holding Malleus close as their lips pressed into each other, the two finding themselves falling back towards the bed.

As Leona envisioned the two of them tangling under the sheets, clothes being stripped away and bare flesh being marked and kissed, pulling the most gorgeous sounds from the fae prince, the beastman blinked as he became aware of Malleus standing in front of him, physically.

"Leona, dear, are you feeling okay?" he asked, frowning. Leona's gaze drifted towards those lips once more. "I've been calling for you for a while now."

"M'fine." The beastman mumbled, watching as the corner of Malleus's lip twitched downward more in concern.

"How long have you not been listening?" The fae frowned, crossing his arms.

Busted.

"I was listening the whole time." Leona closed his eyes once more.

"Then what was the last thing I said?"

It was Leona's turn to frown, his ears lowering a bit. He knew he'd been caught, but he wasn't about to admit it. But he also knew it was too long of a shot to try and guess what Malleus had said last.

But he knew what he heard Malleus say in his head.

"Well, the last thing I heard," Leona couldn't hold back the grin spreading across his face, "was you begging and pleading for me to fuck you into the mattress."

"LEONA!" The beastman opened an eye, pleased to see Malleus's cheeks had taken on a really pretty shade of red.

"Was that not right?" Leona hummed as he pretended to think, "Maybe it was you begging me to go harder cause you, quote, weren't made of glass."

"Leona, please." Malleus raised a hand, covering his growing blush.

"No, hold on, I can get this." The beastman was just barely containing his amusement. "You just said a lot of things with that pretty mouth of yours, it's hard to remember what was the last thing you said."

"You think my mouth is pretty?" Leona opened his eyes, looking over to see Malleus still blushing, though had raised an eyebrow, his lips twitching into a small smile.

"And if I do?" The beastman asked, watching his boyfriend. Malleus stepped closer, his eyes once more falling towards Malleus's mouth, watching as those lips moved into a larger smile.

"You seem terribly distracted, dear." Malleus hummed, licking his lips purposely. Leona's eyes tracked the movement, earning a low chuckle from the fae prince. "Maybe I should help you focus."

"I'm focusing just fine." Leona didn't move as Malleus moved to lean over him.

"Are you?" Malleus grinned as his head inched closer to Leona’s. “You still look a bit distracted to me, dear.”

“Maybe you’re just a very distracting guy.” The beastman scoffed, though his head angled up in an attempt to find Malleus’s lips.

“And you’re incredibly easy to read.” The fae prince laughed, his breath fanning against Leona’s face.

The kiss was short, which annoyed Leona how much of a damn tease his boyfriend was being, but then Malleus's eyes seemed to spark with mischief. Before the beastman could ask what the other man was planning, Malleus leaned down again and pressed his lips against the corner of Leona's mouth. And then to the other corner. And then once on each cheek. Leona gave a low rumble, half out of annoyance and half out of satisfaction. "What are you doing, lizard brain?" he groused, closing his eyes as Malleus pressed more kisses along his face.

"You seem," a kiss to Leona's right eyelid, "to enjoy," one on his left, taking care against the scar, "my mouth quite a bit." Pulling back, Malleus smiled down at his handiwork. When Leona opened his eyes he saw the lipstick had smudged, and it didn't take a genius to guess where it had smudged onto.

"You got my face dirty." The beastman huffed, no real heat to his words.

"A thousand apologies, my dear." Malleus laughed, leaning back

"You don't sound very sorry." Leona sat up, smirking as he gave a low growl.

"Oh, woe is me." the fae prince smiled wide, allowing Leona to grab onto his arms in a show of keeping him in place, "Is this the part where you punish me?"

"You'd like that too much." Leona scoffed, leaning his face in closer. "But I will return the favor."

Malleus blinked slowly, before he frowned, "But, you're not wearing lipstick." He said, eyebrows furrowing together. It was only when Leona grinned wider, his fangs catching in the light that the fae prince realized what he meant. "Wait, Leona, I'm-" Everything after was cut off as Leona set off his own attack, dragging Malleus down onto the bed, ready to mark every inch of pale skin he could get access to. And then more that he had to shed clothing for.

_____________

"Malleus? Are you ready?" Lilia knocked at the prince's door. Behind him, Sebek and Silver stood at attention, the three of them ready to escort Malleus to speak with his grandmother.

A few moments later, the door opened and Malleus adjusted the collar that was wrapped around his neck. "Yes, apologies for the delay." Behind him, Leona yawned, sprawled out on his bed. "Leona, do you plan to stay here?"

"It's a very nice bed." Leona replied, not bothering to move.

Lilia peeked around the fae prince and grinned. "Leona, it appears you have a little something on your face." He teased, motioning all over his own.

"Yeah, yeah." Leona rolled onto his side, placing his back towards the door. "You should see the other guy."

"The other guy?" Lilia's smile grew wider as his gaze shifted towards Malleus, who was doing his best to look unfazed by his boyfriend's words. Unfortunately, Lilia's sharp eyes caught just the corner of one of the many hickeys and bite marks the beastman had left behind.

It would be later when Sebek also saw one of the marks and loudly began to fret over Malleus, causing Lilia to burst into a fit of giggles, Silver to start awake and begin asking what Sebek was yelling about, Malleus's grandmother to look mostly amused by the situation as she began asking questions about the markings, and Malleus himself to turn a shade of red that he never thought he'd be able to turn.
