Hello from abroad, my dear! I’ve arrived and I’m happy to say that I’m enjoying my time here so far. The professors have been very kind during this first week, and my fellow students are quite interesting to say the least. Though I feel as if I cannot quite fit into their crowds, at least there’s a lot of alcohol to go around!
Thank you for agreeing to write letters with me. Though we can message each other every day through different means, there’s a certain warmth to a physical, handwritten letter from someone you care about. I’ll be looking forward to receiving your letters, so please write to me often.
I’ll be missing you dearly while I’m abroad, so try and match that energy!
