Tubbo falls in love with Tommy and Tommy puts up with him.

Work Text:

The wind is blowing a gentle breeze caressing two British boys, who are striding along the Brighton seafront, shuffling the sand beneath their feet. The muttering of the sand only quietens when one stops and turns to the other. After a moment’s pause, the other, a bit farther ahead, notices his friend’s falter. Spinning on his heel he turns around to face him only to be surprised by his friend’s blushing.
“Tommy? God, I’d love to kiss you one day. As a joke of course.” the shorter of the two says, narrowly avoiding a fully embarrassing moment.
“Tubbo don’t be disgusting! We all know we can’t do that. It just wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t fit. Like a key going into the wrong door.” Tommy blurts out, trying to laugh it off.
Mortified and deeply ashamed, Tubbo glares down at the ground, his blush growing redder. A flurry of violent thoughts flash through his head, all related to lashing out against the world. Snapping his head back up, Tubbo stares at his crush’s face.
“Tommy? Would you ever leave me for Molly?”
His face flushing red, Tommy could not contain his true feelings any longer. “Yes. Yes Tubbo. I love you with all my heart. I have done all this time.”
Molly, who has been hiding in a nearby bin all this time, hears this. One of the two reasons she has been hiding in a bin is because she is, like a cat, a freak of nature. The other is because she always felt that something was off whenever her boyfriend hung around his childhood best friend. As if there was a sneaking suspicion that those two would do lover things behind her back. “Waht?!” she screams while jumping out of her hiding spot. But it is too late to intervene. The deed has been done. It starts to rain and immediately forms a rainbow, paving the way for the power of gay from the shattered shards of a straight loveless relationship. Her face contorting in shock, she drops dead on the spot. Tommy and Tubbo look back to each other’s faces, getting lost in the love of each other’s eyes.
“I always knew this day would come to be true.” Tubbo softly says, in awe of what their love had just done.
“I’m- You’re the best.”
“Oh stop it.”
Tommy takes a big breath. He wonders if what he’s doing is the right thing, if letting Molly die by leaving her for Tubbo was good. If it is for the best. But there is no time to think. He feels on top of the world and euphoric. He feels like, a god. Feeling the glow of his newfound powers, he starts to chant. “You are Bee Boy. You are Bee Boy. You are Bee Boy.” This unlocks the language of the bugs and only Tubbo and Tommy hear ants and insects join in. Incredibly happy, Tubbo could now do what his ancestors did whenever they felt immense joy. Tubbo begins to float and this only causes him to be happier. A cycle of happiness, fed by his first time feeling such elation and blossoming love life with Tommy creates an infinite loop that would make him float for the rest of his life. “Thank you for helping me discover this.” Tubbo breathes out, his heart light and full of gratefulness. The two lovers walk out onto the sea, Tubbo pulling Tommy along across the waves. With his help, Tommy surfs the waves with his boyfriend’s infinite love and happiness. And Molly’s remaining rotting corpse. Years pass, and Clingy Duo is now floating together through the clouds. One day, it dawns on Tubbo to ask Tommy something that probably should’ve happened at the start of their new lives together.
“Tommy? May I kiss you?”
“Give me some time to think about it.”
A few more years pass in which they fall even more in love and their close bond strengthens.
“Alright Tubs, let’s kiss.”
“Ok but can we do it with tongue?”
No, I don't want to.”
“Please?”
“No.”
“Pretty please with a cherry on top?”
“Ugh alright fine Tubs!”
And so, their first kiss creates a momentary awkwardness but the two prevail. Then, they kiss again, this time with no tongue, as how Tommy wanted it. It is magnificent. In fact, it is so magnificent that it heals all poverty, destroys the conservative party to ashes, brings world peace, and reduces all issues to nothing. Everyone agrees that there is no more homelessness and cheers because the two gods of gay have kissed.
The end.
