Just the two of us, against the whole wide of the galaxy, together through thick and thin, Master and Padawan
You were my master and I am the learner, at least for a while there
There were plenty of issues for sure, but we sorted those out, to some extent before the end
In plenty a battles we fought together, the two of us, leading the others
Sometimes even being led by them, a leader being only as good as their team, as it matters
And then, the war suddenly ended…
… it was all over oh so, so very fast!
You became the evil, the darkness, while I was the grey, the in-between, the shadowy figure
On opposite sides we ended up, even if I thought you had nor survived
But I was wrong, and that I soon found out too!
The shadows, the light, the grey, it’s all part of the one circle of life
The Force, as they say, and we two are part of it all, each other, in the rolling ball
It’s all over now, some time having passed by
I, am fine now, as are you my dear friend, my master, whatever
Guess it had to take a lifetime to figure this one out, huh?
Lessons learnt on both sides, going on, me with my living life
You, as a Force ghost, and again, that is great, all good and fine
We can still talk, and we will talk, trust me my friend in that
But until that time, guess what remains…
