Chapter 1: The Start of the Chaos

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

It’s another dull day in the office when I get a phone call from my little brother. He was supposed to be in class. “Katsuki, do you need something?” I asked as Kunikida scolded me for taking a personal call during work hours.

“This school has gone to shit,” Katsuki grumbled. “What happened?” I asked in a dark tone. It takes a lot for Katsuki to start complaining about things.

"Ever since Mr. Aizawa was killed in the USJ we have been dealing with shitty subs." He grumbles.

"Katsuki, do you want me to pull you out for the day? Then you can explain things adequately." I hear him breathe deeply.

"Fine, mom won't care, anyways." He says, then hangs up. I then called UA themselves.

"Yes this is Dazai Osamu.  I am calling to let you know that I will be pulling Katsuki Bakugou for the rest of the day." I say as the receptionist picks up.

"May I ask why? We need the reason for our records." She said in an annoyed tone.

"He has a doctor's appointment." I hear her sigh on the other end.

"He will need a doctor's note when he returns to school on Monday." She said. "I know that. I will be there in an hour." I hang up on her.

I immediately make my way to Fukuzawa’s office to explain the situation. “Mr. Fukuzawa, I need the rest of the day off to take care of my little brother. Some stuff went down at school so I have to pick him up.” I say quickly.

“I didn’t know you had a little brother.” He said with minor shock in his eyes.

“Yes, you can meet him after I pick him up,” I say with frustration.

“Go pick him up. I’m sure the agency will love to meet him.” I nodded and went to leave only to be intercepted by Kunikida.

“Dazai, this is very unprofessional. You can’t just leave the agency like this." It's getting late and I'm feeling incredibly frustrated. The train to Musutafu will be leaving soon.

“Get out of my way,” I say and am reminded of my time in the Port Mafia.

“I already have permission.” Kunikida is about to respond when Ranpo steps in.

“Let him leave, he already said he has permission. There is nothing you can do to keep him here.” He says in his bored tone. With that distraction, I head out for the train station.

Upon examining Katsuki, I can confirm that he is physically fine. However, he seems more upset than normal. “Thanks, for picking me up.” He said as we left the school grounds.

“No problem, I know things haven’t been easy for you. We will have to go to the agency to finish my shift. If you want you can just work on homework and study while you’re there.” I look at him, but he just nods his head. He has never been this quiet in my presence.

“Mom wants to talk to you about me,” He says, I stiffen at that.

“She hasn’t gotten better at all, has she?” I asked, he shook his head.

That was the answer I was afraid of. “Dad isn’t doing much other than telling me not to antagonize her.” He mumbles.

“Damn, I’ll see what she wants from me. You should probably spark off soon. Your nitroglycerin is building up.” I tell him, we get some looks but nobody comments on it.

“So, tell me what is going on with your teachers,” I say in hopes of getting to the bottom of his latest issue.

“Ever since Mr. Aizawa died in the USJ our teachers have been difficult to deal with. One teacher was transferred to another class, and another teacher quit after the training camp incident. The school board has been doing everything in its power to bring our class under its thumb. Giving us bullshit rules that almost no other class at school has to follow. Now we have just been cycling through subs that have no interest in teaching us anything. We’ve been taking care of ourselves for now. Yaomomo and Glasses have been taking over teaching and we’ve been joining 1B in training even though it is obvious we are not welcome at all. Even Vlad King thinks we are a cursed class. Several students have decided to move to General Education. Then they turn around and start bullying us as if we weren’t their friends,” He starts to vent.

I am the only person he feels safe enough to vent to. “I will talk to the school to see what is going on. Mom forwarded me the permission slip to move into the dorms. So I’ll hand deliver the permission slip and ask then.” I say already coming up with a plan of my own. I will not have a bunch of adults bully my baby brother and his friends. I will just need a couple more hands on deck.

“You’re cooking tonight,” I say and he snorts. “I wouldn’t let you be in the kitchen even if both my hands are broken.” He jokes as we get off in Yokohama station.

“Just so you know, the agency probably won’t leave you alone. They can’t keep their noses out of other people’s business.” I say and he nods. “Class 1A is the same way. They can’t let things be.” It was my turn to snort.

“You are as well, Kat. If Midoriya was the one that got kidnapped you would have been on the front lines just as he was for you.” He stiffens at that.

“Yeah, I guess I am.” He said softly. I look up at the agency building.

“Well, here we are,” I say as we enter.

“Dazai! Where were you? Who is this? You can’t just kidnap children, Dazai.” I can hear Katsuki growling.

“Can it four eyes! You’re just as bad as Iida.” He shouts at Kunikida.

“Dazai, is this your brother?” Fukuzawa asks as he hears the shouting.

“Yes, sir. This is Katsuki.” I say and Kunikida gets a good look at him.

“You have a brother?” He asked as we got the whole Agency’s attention.

“Yes, he is my little brother.” I nod to Fukuzawa.

“He’s the kid that got kidnapped, right? The Camino Ward incident?” Yosano asked. I looked at Katsuki, saw his hand clench, and decided to step in.

“He doesn’t like to talk about that,” I say glaring at the entire agency.

“So, not to be rude but what is he doing here? Shouldn’t he be in school?” Ranpo asked, sounding very rude.

“Some stuff happened, so I pulled him out for the day. Speaking of, what homework do you have, you should probably get it done.” I tell him and drag him to the couch.

“I’m going to talk to Fukuzawa for a bit then I will be right back. You should also spark off.” I told him and Junichiro jumped in.

“Isn’t his ability a fire hazard?” He asked.

“Ah, he calls it a quirk and it only becomes a fire hazard if there is too much nitroglycerin to burn off safely, that is why he should spark off semi-regularly to keep from building up too much nitroglycerin,” I say because he turned off his hearing aids.

“Nitroglycerin?” Kenji asked.

“Yes, he sweats nitroglycerin and can make explosions with his hands by igniting it,” I tell them.

“That has to have negative effects on his body,” Yosano says.

“Deafness and heart problems. Because of the amount of nitroglycerin in his body, his heart beats slowly. That causes several health issues. To combat this he feels emotions in a heightened way to get his heart beating faster. The most common one is anger.” I say as Yosano looks at Katsuki.

“Like I said, I have to talk to Fukuzawa,” I say as I head towards his office.

“So, what did you want to talk to me about?” I take a deep breath.

“I want to put Kenji, Kyoka, and Atsushi into UA.” Fukuzawa scowls and looks at me.

“Why do you want to do that?” He asked, confused.

“I want to put them into Class 1A specifically, they need a good education. Kunikida can only teach them so much, and that is a good school to go to. Naomi goes to school and works here and I will be able to keep an eye on them.” I explained and he narrowed his eyes.

“How about you tell me what’s going on? I am not against educating them but you have never advocated for this before.” It’s true, I never advocated for any of the teens’ education. I didn’t think it was my place.

In all honesty, I would prefer it if Atsushi got a good education. Kunikida and I got him caught up to a high school level. However, he needs to have more social interaction. I know that class 1A would be good for him, for all of them. So in the interest of securing allies in this venture, I laid all my cards on the table.

“Ever since Shouta Aizawa’s death at the USJ, the school has been bullying class 1A, especially after the training camp incident. They have been cycling through teachers who show no interest. The class has been bullied by students, teachers, and the school board. I know I am asking a lot by doing this but please, take a chance on this.” I’m begging at this point. I know, but this needs to work.

“Why should I put them in UA? I can just as easily put them in Naomi’s school. After everything you told me about the treatment in the school, I don’t think that is a good idea. Especially with nobody acting as their legal guardian. If you have a way to combat the school board and teachers then I will think about it.” I took the hint for what it was and smiled.

“I have a plan, both Chuuya and I have teaching certificates and hero licenses. We both got fake hero licenses in my final year in the mafia. I got my teaching certificate while I was in hiding. Chuuya has an associate’s degree so he can become a teacher’s aide. I have been debating it for a while.” I tell him while pulling out my hero’s license.

“How will you be able to convince Nakahara to do this?” He asked with skepticism.

"If I was able to convince Chuuya to marry me, I should be able to convince him to do this. As for the guardianship issue, I have a solution to that.” He motions for me to continue.

“Since Katsuki’s kidnapping, the school decided that it would be best to implement school dorms. They have been working on the dorms for a while now and they have finally finished. Our mother sent me the permission slip and it said that all the classes need three adults to take care of them, the teacher, the teacher’s aide, and a dorm guardian. They don’t need to be a teacher and they are preferred to be a parent of one of the students. However, I’m certain I can arrange for the position to be filled by someone close as well. I just need to think of the best person to fill the role.” I say, feeling very proud of myself.

“And what of Mori?” Fukuzawa asks.

“I know that Mori has been trying to bust into the hero business for a while now. He has never been able to get into the schools. This will provide him with a way to get onto the school board of UA. Naturally, anything affecting class 1A will be countered,” I say as I pull out a thumb drive.

“The guardianship won’t be an issue, either. I have custody over three kids and partial custody of Katsuki. With the connections I have in the government, I could easily get custody over them, as well. If they want me to.” I say and he looks at me shocked. “

You didn’t think that Ango could keep me hidden by himself, did you?” I ask with a smirk on my face.

“Fine, if you can convince Mori to let Chuuya do this and get custody of the kids then you can enroll them into UA,” Fukuzawa said with a proud smile on his face. A knock on the door interrupted the conversation.

“You guys have been in here for a while. What are you talking about?” Yosano asked, I looked at her in consideration.

“We are discussing putting Kenji, Kyouka, and Atsushi into school,” Fukuzawa said. She looked shocked.

“That’s a good idea, I’m certain Naomi will be able to help them get acclimated to the new environment.”  She said with a smile. I shake my head.

“UA, not Yokohama High.” She immediately turned to me.

“Why UA? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good school but wouldn’t it be easier for them to be in Yokohama High? I heard UA is really demanding of their students.” I get where her concern is coming from, but she is underestimating them.

“They will be fine. By the time the dorms are built, they will be more than ready to deal with UA.” I say while Fukuzawa nods in support.

“Do you know if any of them even want to go to UA?” She asked in exasperation. I shake my head.

Then this conversation shouldn’t go any further until you have confirmation. Pull them aside and talk to them.” She said then got up to leave the office.

“She’s right, you should call them in here. Maybe bring Katsuki in, as well.” I nod and get up.

“Before I start, I would like to make it clear that all three of you have the right to say no. You can decline the offer Dazai is about to make and that will be the end of it, the conversation will be done and you will never hear of it again,” Fukuzawa started, thank Chuuya for that because I have no clue how to ask this question.

“What’s it got to do with me, Osamu?” Katsuki asked, he didn’t appreciate being pulled from his homework.

“Be patient Kat. Your input is important.” I say, giving him a head pat. He huffs but stays quiet.

“Dazai-san, did something happen?” Atsushi asked, checking Katsuki and me over for injuries.

“Nothing happened Sushi, you can calm down, none of us are hurt,” I say giving him a head pat, as well. He blushes, still not used to physical affection. To be safe I give the other two head pats and Kenji is practically glowing in happiness, Kyouka also had a slight blush on her face. These kids are so cute.

“What is the offer you wanted to give us, Mr. Fukuzawa?” Kyouka asked.

“It is Dazai’s offer. I am here for moral support,” He said and all eyes turned to me. I take a deep breath and rip the band-aid off.

“How would you guys like to have a legal guardian?” I asked slowly, I could see recognition in Katsuki’s eyes. It wouldn’t take long for him to put the pieces together.

“What do you mean?” Atsushi asked. He looked so confused that it almost hurt.

“Like a parent?” Kenji asked, thank Chuuya for this kid.

“If you want, basically if you want to do things that need an adult’s permission, a guardian would be able to sign off on it,” I explain, the words that come out of Atsushi’s mouth next are heartbreaking.

“I would like that, but I don’t think anyone would want to do that for me. I’m not someone that people would want.” Those words physically hurt me. I couldn’t help myself and blurted everything out.

“I would take you in an instant if you asked me to. Anybody who has spent a fraction of a second in your presence should feel the same way. Anybody who says otherwise is the most vile and idiotic person on the planet and I would happily kill them in a second.” I say, seething at the idea that anybody dared to make him feel this way. All these kids wormed their way into my heart and whether they want this or not, I will always do my best to protect them.

I was brought out of my chaotic thoughts with a hug. Looking down I see Atsushi’s crying and clinging to me like I would disappear if he let go for a second. I immediately wrap my arms around him. “That goes for you three as well. I would take you all in a second if you let me.” I say and Kenji tackles me in a hug, as well. I look at Kyouka and Katsuki and can see they are shaken. I try and move towards them but Atsushi and Kenji are holding on tight.

“Kyouka, this doesn’t mean I am replacing your parents. Our relationship can be purely up to you. I will respect it.” I said and she started to cry. With a small nod, she joins the group hug.

“What about mom and dad?” Katsuki asked quietly.

“They already lost custody of one kid, I have been more involved with all his schools than they have, even in my two years of hiding. If it comes down to it I will take them to court. However, I don’t think it will. They truly are pieces of shit. Like I said, your input matters in this.” I say, with that, I am bear-hugged by four teenagers. I have a lot of explaining to do when Chuuya gets home. Maybe I can help Katsuki make Chuuya’s favorite meal. He likes kids so it shouldn’t be too hard. It's not like we don’t have the space for them either.

“Okay, I have a couple of calls to make so why don’t we go home for the rest of the details? If you want you can stay in your dorms, or I have a couple of rooms that you can use until I can clean out the guest rooms.” I say, they all decided to head home with me, and after we picked up some stuff for them we headed to my house.

The one thing I didn’t count on was Chuuya, Ryuu, Gin, and Kyuu being home early.

Chapter 2

Summary:

Decisions are made, Katsuki is suffering, Kunikida is an asshole, a meeting happens, and Dazai is forced to take a nap. What an eventful day.

Osamu P.O.V.

I could tell nobody knew how to react to this. Quite frankly, neither did I. All I knew was I had to tell Chuuya this in private. So I took a deep breath and turned to the kids.

“Why don’t you guys head inside? I need to talk to Chuuya for a minute. Ryuu and Gin, can you show them around and maybe find a guestroom for them? Katsuki, you know where your room is. Why don’t you finish up your homework?” I watched as he headed to the couch where my husband was lounging in his pajamas. While passing, Chuuya ruffled Katsuki’s hair.

Chuuya grabbed my wrist and pulled me to our bedroom. “Osamu, what is happening?” He asked, with caution in his eyes.

“Not that I don’t enjoy the company of Kenji, Kyouka, and Katsuki, but why are they here?” He asked and I braced myself for an explanation. “I might have something,” I said and Chuuya deadpanned.

“What did you do?” He asked as we sat down on the bed.

“I asked them if they wanted me to adopt them. They said yes. We officially have five kids. However, Kyouka doesn’t want to call me by any official title.” I say with a bright smile on my face. I could see Chuuya’s eye twitching.

“You didn’t think to call me before making that decision,” He said with barely concealed anger. “Honestly, no. Everything happened today when I picked up Katsuki.” I said, his anger turned to confusion.

“Did something happen at UA?” He asks with worry. “Sort of, I guess it has been happening for a while, but Katsuki called me earlier today and something felt off so I picked him up.” With that, I went into the story again. When I was finished I could tell Chuuya was upset.

“I suppose you have a plan to deal with those bastards?” Chuuya asked with anger.

“I don’t have a teaching degree to waste paper, Chuuya. I just so happen to know of a teaching position that needs filling. Maybe even a teacher’s aide. You don’t happen to know of someone with the correct credentials, do you?” I look at him with mischievous eyes.

“I might know of a person that fits the bill,” He said as I rested my head on his shoulder.

“So, what made you decide to ask for custody?” He asked as he played with my hair.

“I've been thinking about it for a while. Especially after Kyouka came into the picture. She and Ryuu got along well and I realized I needed a reason to go to UA in the first place. It all felt right. They needed a place to go to school, and I needed a plausible reason to go to UA. I haven’t brought up UA with them yet. I will do that in a couple of days. Ryuu, Gin, and Kyuu decided to stick with homeschooling, if the other three decide to stick with homeschooling I will figure something else out for UA.” I say as I get off the bed.

“Are you okay with this?” I asked, my voice sounding small. “I figured you would pull something like this eventually. I thought it would just be Katsuki. The kid stays with us more than his parents. Come on, we have seven kids to go check up on.” He said, walking out of the room.

I wasn’t surprised to find them quietly sitting around each other. Neither side knew what to do. All eyes were on Chuuya and me the minute we walked in. “So, I need you all to pay attention, Katsuki, that means you too.” He huffs, putting down his books to glare at me.

“Do you not realize how much studying I have to do? Just because my teachers suck doesn’t mean they let us skimp on the homework,” His pomeranian side is showing.

“Just a bit, then you can go back to the homework. Is someone getting the homework from the classes you missed?” I asked, making sure I didn’t have to email the school.

“Yeah, I texted Shitty Hair about it.” He said as he started to relax and put his book down. Ryuu took the books away before they could cause any more problems, and Kyuu went to sit by Katsuki.

“This is why I chose to do homeschooling,” Ryuu remarked. “It’s also why you have no friends… besides Gin. But she doesn’t count. You were born with her, she came pre-installed.” Katsuki started, Ryuu was about to retort when Chuuya cleared his throat.

“Listen up.” That was all he said, and everything just stopped. I’m not jealous, not at all.

“There will be some new additions to the family.” He says, looking at my pouting face.

“About time,” Ryuu mumbled.

“What the Hell is that supposed to mean?” Katsuki was practically growling at this point… it’s funny.

“It means, I expected it for a while. He was practically babying the Jinko ever since he got his hands on him.” Gin and Kyuu are nodding along with them.

So are you adopting them? Is Katsuki included in this? If he is can we finally burn down your parent's fashion company?” Kyuu was practically interrogating us.

“Yes, Chuuya and I will adopt them if they want us to. Yes, Katsuki is included in this. We might be able to burn it down.” Chuuya elbowed me in the side. “No, we can’t burn down their company.” God damn it, that sounded like fun.

“So, does anyone have any questions for us?” Chuuya asked.

“How long have you been living together?” Kyouka asked.

“They’ve been married for five years now,” Katsuki grumbled, getting up to go get his books.

“How old are you?” Kenji asked, I know the kid doesn’t have a mean bone in his body so I didn’t take offense.

“We are both 23,” I told him, ruffling his hair.

“So, if we had doctor’s appointments, you would be there with us?” Kyouka asked.

“Yes, I would be there with you if you want me to,” I tell her.

“What about going to school?” She asked with hope in her eyes.

“Well, if you wanted to go to school you can go. I’m not going to deny you an education,” I tell her.

“When can we go get our stuff?” Kenji asked.

“We will get the rest of your stuff tomorrow. Katsuki, if you want, Ryuu and I can get some stuff from Mitsuki’s. If you don’t want to see them right now.” He got really quiet after that.

“I don’t want to see them right now.” He says, quietly, leaving to go to his bedroom.

“Kyouka brought up a good point. How do you two feel about school?” Chuuya asked, turning to Atsushi and Kenji.

“It would be nice but, Yokohama High has a lot of Orphanage kids in it. I don’t want to see them.” Atsushi said, with a sad look on his face.

“We will figure something out. Right now, let me make a few phone calls to get the foster thing down. What about you Kenji?” He looked happy.

“I would like that. The village didn’t offer much in terms of learning. But, I want to stay with Atsushi and Kyouka.” I nod, thinking of the luck I stumbled into. Not only do I get to take care of three more cute kids, but they seem willing to go along with the school thing.

“Okay, I need to make a few phone calls. Gin, you could talk to Katsuki, and see if he’s doing okay. He had a bad day today.” I could see the realization and she immediately got up and went to him.

“Okay, I’m going to talk to Ango about getting me those papers. Then I will see about schools.” I look at them and then at Chuuya.

“Um, watch the kids. I’ll be back.” With that, I leave the room.

“Ango, I need you to get some paperwork for me.” He sighed.

“What did you do now?” Scoffing, I get to the point.

“I want to adopt Kenji, Kyouka, and Atsushi.” He sounds like he suffered a thousand years.

“I don’t even want to know. I will be by later to drop them off. I’ll get Hanako to do this,” He hung up on me… rude.

Walking out of the bedroom, I saw Chibi on the couch talking with Kenji and Kyuu.

“Ango is going to get the paperwork, he’ll be by later.” Chuuya nodded and went back to his conversation. I decided to go see how Katsuki and Gin were doing and noticed that Atsushi was in there with them.

“You remind me of Deku. He can’t stop himself from helping people either,” Katsuki grumbled.

“Who’s Deku?” Atsushi asked.

“We go to school together. ‘Knew the fucker my entire life. We grew up together. He was one of the kids that came to help me in Camino Ward.” I could see he was shaking.

“What’s he like?” Katsuki sighed as he leaned into Gin.

“He’s shy, he mumbles when he thinks. Anxious as all Hell. Can cry at the drop of a hat. Doesn’t know when to back down. At the sports festival, he damn near got himself killed to help the Candycane bitch. Broke three fingers multiple times and had to get surgery. I would be surprised if he could feel anything in his hands.” It’s nice listening to Katsuki being calm for once.

“What school do you go to?” Atsushi asked.

“UA, I’m going to be the number one hero. A lot of the kids there aim to be heroes. The Katy Perry Wannabe wants to be a hero to help kids in abusive situations. Deku just wants to help anyone who needs it. We can do it with a hero license. I also want to help people. That’s why I didn’t quit.” He said quietly. Looking at Atsushi I see he has a contemplative look on his face. This might be easier than I thought it would be.

“What’s UA like?” Sushi asked, I could see the wheels turning in his head.

“It’s a good school if you are going for a hero’s license. I guess the kids are nice if you aren’t in the hero’s course. Right now we don’t have a permanent teacher.” Katsuki replied, shrinking in on himself. I looked at Atsushi and could tell he had an idea.

“Thank you.” He said, hurrying out.

Both Katsuki and Gin looked at me. “I think he wants to go to UA,” Gin said, Katuski shook his head.

“That’s not a bad idea in theory. In practice, it’s just getting worse every day. Four of our classmates have left because they can’t handle the bullying. I don’t know if he would be able to handle it. There is the written exam and physical exam to get through before he can even be admitted to the school,” Katsuki said as I moved to play with his hair.

“I helped you and Izuku study for your entrance exams, I can help him too,” I tell him, and he looks at me.

“What are you planning?” The trust in this house is heart-warming.

“You should know by now that I have a plan. You just worry about your homework. I will worry about the school,” He raised a brow at me.

“As long as the school doesn’t burn down, I don’t care. Leave me alone, I’m going to take a nap before starting dinner,” He said, before turning into his bed.

“Dinner was good, as always, thank you Katsuki and Chuuya,” I said, and the others followed with their thanks.

“Thanks, I guess. It wasn’t much, I could do this in my sleep,” Katsuki must have been cranky after his nap… poor pomeranian.

“Dazai-san,” Atsushi said, getting my attention.

“Kyouka, Kenji, and I have been talking. We want to go to UA.” It was dead silent after that.

“What the Hell? Did you not hear a word I said? We have no teacher, the entire school hates the hero course. We have had four students drop out of our class,” I could see the anxiety building in Katsuki.

“Yes, but you said the kids in your class want to be heroes to help kids in abusive situations. I would have killed for someone to be that for me. Dazai-san is the closest thing I have to a hero and I want to be that for other children. Even if we don’t become actual heroes, we can help a lot more people with those licenses,” Katsuki shook his head.

“You have no clue what you are getting yourself into. The kids, they aren’t that nice to us. Not after what happened to Mr. Aizawa. You won’t be treated nice there. Not if you are put into our class.” He was starting to hyperventilate.

“Katsuki, you need to calm down. I wouldn’t allow any of you to get hurt. I told you, I have a plan.” I said, trying to get him to calm down. Ever since he was kidnapped it became a lot easier to rile him up.

“Even if you have a plan, stopping us from getting hurt isn’t possible. We’re called the Hell Class for a fucking reason.” He said, “You can’t be there 24/7, something is going to go wrong.” Shit, I have to get him under control before his quirk goes off.

“Yes, I can. I have a teacher’s degree for a reason.” That stops him.

“Explain,” He says as Chuuya pulls him into a chair.

“Chuuya and I were discussing it and we agreed that the best way to handle this situation was to apply for a conveniently vacated teaching position. Everything will work out eventually. You don’t have to worry about their safety. Let me worry about that.” His quirk is starting to spark. Good, he burnt off the nitroglycerin.

“The dorms, we have to move into dorms soon. The teachers are supposed to live in the dorms with us. To make sure we don’t burn it down or some shit,” I pull him into a hug.

“I know, and I am looking for someone to take the dorm guardian as well. None of you, nor your class will be hurt without repercussion. You need to put some faith in us. Can you do that?” He looks at me. “

Yeah, the teachers are apparently, provided an apartment in the same building as the students. I’m pretty sure they let the teacher’s families move in.” Finally, we got there.

“You will help them get acclimated to the class. Won’t you?” He looks around the table and sighs.

“Yeah, I don’t see an issue with them getting along with the rest of the class. I have a feeling Catboy and Deku will get along well enough. Do you think we can get Deku over here soon? That walking disaster will have no problem getting the class to love these three. Plus, they’re not the only new kids. Copy Cat from 1-B will be joining our class on Monday,” Chuuya nods.

“Midoriya would be the perfect person to do this. He would be the perfect buffer between you guys and the rest of the class.” It’s nice that Chuuya remembers the green-haired demon.

“Why didn’t they just move more people into your class?” Kyuu asked brows furrowed in confusion.

“Everybody else rejected the offer. And the one person that everybody wants in class 1A hasn’t gotten an offer yet. The purple-haired boy that Deku fought at the sports festival,” I nod and think for a bit.

“Tonight I will send in the applications. And Chuuya will ask get permission. I’m pretty sure if we play our cards right we can get Koyou on the board. She would be a valuable asset to us,” I say to Chuuya.

“What about your agency doctor for the dorm guardian?” Chuuya asked, I shook my head.

“Nope, she needs to stay at the agency. As will Ranpo and Kunikida. Hirotsu is also a no-go. While he would be good, I don’t think Mori will give him up. I’ll talk to Fukuzawa about it and see who he suggests. Maybe even the agency as a whole.” I say, Chuuya thinks.

“Yeah, you should do that. How about we watch a movie? Ango still hasn’t arrived so we don’t have anything we can do right now. Get your laptop and meet us in the family room,” Now I can finally get the real work done.

The next day I got the whole family to help me move the kid's stuff into our house before our shift at the agency started. I decided to drag Katsuki along because Chuuya also worked his magic and got a joint meeting with the PM and the agency. I’m sure that Koyou would love to see Katsuki and Kyouka. She was the best babysitter for Katsuki. I’m certain that Koyou would love a chance to talk with him, especially after the Sports Festival and the kidnapping. Maybe I can unleash her on All Might if I play my cards right.

Ranpo was the first person to notice us. “I see things went well for you,” He said, Yosano probably talked to him.

“Yes, things went very well. We got a lot of things done,” I said as we all took a seat at our desks. Katsuki pulled a chair up to sit next to Kyouka. Huh, didn’t see that coming.

“That’s good, I thought that you would mess something up,” Kunikida looks up, questioningly.

“What are you two talking about?” He asked, warily.

“Dazai is going to adopt Kenji, Kyouka, and Atsushi,” Ranpo said, Kunikida snapped his head towards me so fast I worried his neck would break.

“Him? Someone let him adopt a child, let alone three? Did nobody decide to do a background check on him? How could someone let something like this happen?” As he went on and on I started to glare at him.

“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” He looked at me.

“It means you are irresponsible and can’t even take care of yourself, let alone three children. Hell, I’m surprised your parents let Bakugou around you,” Katsuki stood up with his quirk starting to go off.

“Kunikida, I advise you to sit down and go back to work. Before you say something you would regret.” I warned as I saw Chuuya pull up in his company car.

“You can’t even get through a conversation without threatening me. You should not be in charge of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if, in three weeks, Atsushi starts to look like he did when you first found him. You shouldn’t be trusted with them,” At this point, Chuuya and Koyou had entered the agency and I could tell Chuuya was getting angry.

“Why don’t you sit the fuck back down and stop shouting? You're giving us a headache.” Katsuki yelled as he moved to stand by me.

“You should sit down and let the adults talk. This is no conversation for you,” Kunikida is on his last strike. I could see Ryuu and Gin step in behind Chuuya and it wouldn’t be long before a fight broke out.

This isn’t a conversation. You’re just yelling at my brother,” Katsuki is practically growling.

“That is enough! Kunikida you are out of line. Sit down!” Yosano yelled, trying to get some semblance of order.

“How are you not concerned about this? He isn’t fit to raise a goldfish. Let alone a teenager.” Katsuki's sparks started to get worse and it started to get Kunikida’s attention.

“Now I can see why they locked you up at the Sports Festival. You have no control,” That’s it, I get ready to attack him when Atsushi pulls me back.

“You don’t say shit about that! He didn’t do anything wrong. He didn’t deserve it.” At this point, Ranpo and Yosano were standing by my side.

“If by nothing wrong you mean acting like a feral animal and throwing a tantrum because he didn’t get the fight he wanted, then yeah, he did nothing wrong.” Fuck, I’m going to kill this man.

“You’ve gone too far. What UA did was horrific and nothing less than child abuse,” Ranpo said, standing in front of Katsuki.

“As entertaining as your office drama is. We are here for a reason,” Kouyou said as Kyouka went to stay by her.

“Why the Hell are the Port Mafia here?” Kunikida yelled,

“We have a meeting set up. If your boss didn’t tell you that’s your problem.” Chuuya said as he walked towards Kunikida.

“Nakahara, I know what Kunikida said was out of line, but you can’t hurt him, it will damage the alliance.” Of course, Ranpo knows about us. This day is going so well.

“Now Chuuya, I know you want to protect your husband, but I think you should wait until after the meeting. It looks like we might be here a while,” Mori, of course, that bastard had to make the situation worse.

“You’re married to a mafia executive? And people still believe that you would be a good guardian for Atsushi, Kyouka, and Kenji. What if you set off Kyouka? I doubt she would want to be a part of a family with a Port Mafia Executive. It explains why Bakugou is so feral. Look at the people he was raised around. How are you still employed with the agency?” That’s it, grabbing the collar of his shirt I pull him close to me.

“You better stop talking about Katsuki like that. I don’t care how many times you go after me, but you will not go after my brother. I’ll kill you before you hurt him.” I say as I throw him to the floor.

“That’s enough Dazai,” Fukuzawa said.

“Like Mori said, we have called a meeting for a reason,” Kunikida stood up.

“You can’t be okay with this. Dazai is married to the enemy,” He doesn’t know when to quit.

I said that’s enough, we will be talking later,” Fukuzawa put his foot down, I turned to Katsuki, now that the threat was gone to check his condition to find him with Kouyou and Kyouka. Good, she will help him more than I can right now. Thank Chuuya that Katsuki seems more angry than hurt, because if he was sad then I would have attacked Kunikida.

“Now then, shall we proceed?” Mori asked, with a slight smirk on his face.

“Finally, I was getting bored with the drama,” Tachihara complained.

“Shut up,” I heard Gin hiss at him.

“Yes, let’s go to the meeting room. Kyouka, Kenji, Atsushi, and Bakugou, may you please stay out here.” Katsuki tsked.

“Call me Katsuki. I don’t like Bakugou.” He said as he went to sit back down.

“I apologize, Katsuki,” Fukuzawa said as he turned to lead everyone to the meeting room.

“So, what is this meeting about?” Mori turned to Fukuzawa.

“Dazai had an idea that he wants to run by you,” Everyone turned to me.

“I have something you want,” I said, looking directly at Mori.

“You and Yosano are coming back to the Port Mafia?” I could practically see the puppy's tail wagging behind him.

“I would rather gouge my eyes out,” I said, Yosano nodded.

“You only have one good one anyway,” I hate that man.

“Go die in a hole,” I tell him and Kunikida went to talk only to be shushed by Fukuzawa. Serves the asshole right.

“You’re so mean,” Mori looked sad… that’s funny.

“So, what is it that I want?” Mori asked, “Access to the hero market.” He finally looked interested.

“And how do you think I can get into that?” I smirked.

“UA happens to have a teaching position open. And I just so happen to know of two people who have teaching degrees,” I say with a big smile.

“Yes, I know who you are talking about. What are the terms?” He asked, I knew it, this will work in my favor.

“I have applied for the position last night. Chuuya has applied to be my teacher’s aide. However, since the training camp incident happened the school decided to implement dorms. So we would also need to think of a dorm guardian,” He thinks for a minute.

“With this, I would have access to the UA school board.” I nod, “I think Kouyou would be a good fit for the school board. Your company could sponsor her and she can act as a liaison,” I say, watching as she deflates.

“The board has access to the campus and if they have family members in the school they can meet with them after board meetings. But we do have to discuss who would be the dorm guardian. As far as I know, nobody else has applied so far,” Ranpo clears his throat.

“What about Poe? He’s good with kids. Besides it’s not like he would be raising them. He would just make sure they don’t die,” I shake my head.

“That’s not entirely true. They would have partial custody of the kids while they are at UA,” Ranpo shrugged, “I'll talk to Poe later. I’ll let you know what he said,” I nod.

“This is ridiculous. Dazai and Nakahara are going to be teaching in UA. Don’t make me laugh. You didn’t even consider the one person here who has actual teaching experience,” I sigh, “I didn’t consider you because I don’t trust you around my brother and his friends. End of story,” I said trying to shut him down again. Too bad he chose to be an ass today… like every day.

“And somebody will trust you with those kids? Are you kidding me? They probably took one look at your resume and then threw it out. Has everyone lost their minds?” Fukuzawa stood up.

“Sit down, Kunikida,” he huffed and threw himself into his seat.

“Now that the tantrum is done. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will give you and Chuuya leave to move to UA. I suppose I would have to give up the Akutagawa siblings and Yuumeno right? They are your children after all,” The bastard just gave Kunikida another reason to go off.

“Of course. They live with us. I will be able to do my agency work remotely. Chuuya should be able to do his executive work remotely too, right?” I asked, with the most threatening smile on my face.

“Of course. Today has been eventful. I feel like we should celebrate but one of your people will ruin the mood,” Mori said while standing up. Thank Chuuya he is leaving.

“Chuuya, Ryuunoske, Gin, and Yuumeno, you may stay with Dazai for the rest of the day,” He says and hurries everyone away from the agency.

“Dazai, if you want, you can take the rest of the day off. I need to talk with Kunikida,” He said as he grabbed Kunikida’s arm and dragged him toward his office.

“That was intense. Are you okay?” Chuuya asked as he came over to me.

“I’m fine, he’s just being an ass, like always,” I tell him turning towards him to hug him.

“Dazai, I’ll tell you Poe’s answer tomorrow,” I nod to him then get the kids to go home. I need to enroll them when we get home. Ango expedited the paperwork so I have full custody of Atsushi, Kenji, and Kyouka. We should celebrate, but I don’t want to until I have custody of Katsuki.

“I’ll enroll them when we get home. Just take it easy for a bit. Maybe take a nap or something. I don’t know how much I missed but I know he upset you. It took a lot of control on your end. Good job, Mackerel,” I nod and gather the kids to go home.

Thank Chuuya, all we need to do is get Poe on our side and Kyouka, Kenji, and Atsushi into UA. That will be the easy part. They are smart, and they will be able to get into the Hero’s course. When we got home I asked Katsuki about his class. I wanted to be prepared for anything. “There is only one student you need to worry about. Mineta, he’s the little perv that was responsible for all the girls dressing up as cheerleaders. The little asshole has been disrespecting anything with boobs and the school does nothing about it. His parents are on the school board. Everyone they tell either ignores us or it never gets farther than a slap on the wrist. He’s never gotten anything more than a detention. That’s why we want him out. Everybody, including me, thinks Eyebags would be a better fit for our class,” I could see Chuuya getting angry. He’s always had a healthy respect for women. Hearing that kids were having to deal with that is probably getting his blood boiling.

“Do you guys have any teacher you can trust?” He looks contemplative. It hurts to know that he has to think about the answer.

“Midnight is a good teacher. She hasn’t judged us for what happened at the USJ. She still treats us with respect,” That’s the bare minimum. Fuck UA.

“Why don’t we end this conversation here? I’m making Dazai take a nap,” Chuuya said, dragging me into the bedroom.

“Sleep, you need it. You’ve been up all night.” I didn’t have the energy to argue with him.

He stayed with me, playing with my hair, until I fell asleep. I love that man.

Chapter Text

Ranpo P.O.V.

God dammit Kunikida. He couldn't keep his damn mouth shut. He should know by now that Dazai is a dangerous person to make mad. He's not smart enough to see the threat that he poses.

It was luck that Dazai didn't do more than threaten him. He should know by now that Dazai is a dangerous man. Perhaps he is just too stupid to understand that. I know that Dad will set him straight, for now, I need to get Poe.

I texted him to meet me at the cafe and went down. I went and got a hot chocolate for Ed and me and waited at a table in the back. About ten minutes later he showed up, I called out to him and he sat across from me.

“Did something happen? You look upset,” He said with worry. This is why I love the man, he is so attentive.

“Some stuff went down in the agency. Kunikida decided to be an asshole,” I said.

“I thought he was always an asshole, but what happened this time?” He asked I told him about the fight in the agency and he sighed.

“I don’t blame Dazai, Kunikida shouldn’t have been talking about his brother like that. I have a feeling you didn’t call me just to vent. What’s going on?” He’s also smart, not as smart as me, but smart nonetheless.

“I need you to do me a big favor,” He looked wary.

“Last time I did you a big favor we were getting married for a “mission”. We never got that annulment,” I scoff.

“It worked for Dazai, and it worked for me. You love me,” I say, sticking my tongue out at him.

“Yes I do, but still, what do you need me to do?” He asked.

“It’s a big ask, but please think about it. I want you to apply for the dorm guardianship position for class 1A at UA,” I could see the shock.

“Why? I don’t even know that I would be good at that. Plus, I was a terrorist. I don’t think UA will hire an ex-terrorist to watch over their students,” He raises a good point, too bad I’m smarter.

“Not according to the government. As far as the government is concerned you’re Edgar Allen Poe. An American who decided to move to Japan,” He rolled his eyes at me… rude.

“That still doesn’t explain why I should be the one to do this,” It was my turn to roll my eyes. If he can be rude then I can be rude.

“First, I suggested you for the job. I wouldn’t have suggested you if I thought that you would be bad at it. Second, I want to see how hot my husband would be caring for a bunch of kids. Third, Dazai needs a friend to come through for him right now. I could tell that what happened with Kunikida shook him. Plus, UA has been getting out of line with the treatment of those kids. From restraining Katsuki at the sports festival to allowing the entire school to bully a group of kids because their teacher died. They need someone who wouldn’t punish them for something that wasn’t their fault. Dazai and Chuuya have applied to be class 1A’s teacher and teacher’s aide. Kouyou from the Port Mafia is going to be on the board. I plan to convince Dad to sponsor UA. It will allow a liaison on the school board, and we would get more press so more people will pay us for jobs, I see no issue with it considering family members can visit and being married, they can’t stop me from showing up.” I explained.

“Plus, there is no guarantee that you will even get the position,” I added on at the end. He sighed in resignation.

“Fine, I will apply for the position,” I breathe a sigh of relief.

“Thank you. I’m certain that Dazai will be overjoyed. Now let’s enjoy the rest of our time here.” I said and we did. We would talk about anything and everything. It was going well until Kunikida showed up. I groaned the minute I saw him walk into the cafe. Edgar turned to see what I was groaning at and sighed.

“It will be fine as long as he doesn’t come over here. Don’t pay him any attention,” He said, grabbing my hand,” Obviously it wouldn’t be that simple because the minute that he spotted us he was storming over to me.

“Ranpo, what the Hell was that? Why would you stand by Dazai in this?” I groaned and slammed my head on the table.

“Because you were clearly in the wrong. It doesn’t matter who he is married to. It doesn’t matter who his kids are. He is a good man. The way you talked to him and Katsuki was unacceptable,” He scoffs.

“The boss is mad at me because he couldn’t control his rabid brother,” Oh my God, I am so recording this conversation for Dazai.

“You're lucky that Dad didn’t let Dazai and Yosano carry out your punishment,” He sighed.

“The point is you should be on my side, you’ve known me longer than him,” I glared at him.

“And I am closer to Dazai. You know that twice a month Yosano, Dazai, and I have sleepovers with Dad,” He glares at that.

“The favor he garnered in the agency is baffling. How can you stand being around him? He doesn’t do any work. He doesn’t contribute anything to the agency. And yet you are so willing to protect him. Mr. Fukuzawa is willing to protect him. And now you are willing to let him take half the agency just so his brother and his class don’t have to deal with the consequences of their actions,” I stand up.

“What the fuck are you going on about now?” I hope he isn’t about to go down this road.

“That class is a class full of kids with strong abilities. You’re telling me that none of them could save one man. They are supposed to be the next generation of heroes,” He went there.

“Ranpo, let’s go home,” Ed said, grabbing my hand and heading to the door.

“I don’t have time for this Kunikida, have a bad day,” I say and we finally go home.

The first thing I did when we got home was call Dazai. It took a couple of rings but he answered. I must have woke him up from a nap. Whatever, he’ll deal.

“The Hell you want, Ranpo?” Yup, I woke him up.

“I have good news,” I could hear sheets rustling.

“Hurry up, I want to go back to sleep,” God damn, he is grumpy.

“Fine, God. Ed agreed to apply for the guardianship position,” I say, I can hear his breath halt.

“Really? You’re not messing with me?” He asked.

“He is filling out his application as we speak,” I took a picture of Ed at the computer with a file pulled up. I sent it to Dazai and can hear the excited squeal he gave when he got it.

“Thank you for this, I promise I will make it up to you. You can pick the movie for the next three of my turns for our sleepover nights,” I heard a knock on the door from his room.

“You better not be working right now Osamu,” Nakahara said over the phone.

“You go deal with your husband. I’ll talk to you later,” I hung up and went to hug Edgar.

“You should have heard how excited Dazai was. Thank you for this,” He turned and kissed me on the forehead.

“I would do anything for you, dear. You know this,” I lean into his hug.

I do, I do know this.

Osamu. P.O.V.

I got up and let the Slug in. He looked at my phone and then at me.

“It was Ranpo, he talked to Poe, and he agreed to apply for the guardianship position,” Chuuya sighed in relief.

“That’s good, I just finished registering the kids for school. Katsuki is currently telling them about the entrance exams. I hope they have different exams for late students. That sounds like a lot for three students,” I nod.

“It does, but we don’t have to worry about them, they are strong enough.” He nods at me.

“I do not doubt that they will pass,” I was about to say something when I heard yelling.

“Deku, why are you calling me!?” Oh, it’s just Katsuki.

“No, I didn’t use your stupid curling mask,” A pause, “I don’t care that the last time it was used was at my house. Ask Mina, you two use the same products,” Both Chuuya and I are chuckling.

“Deku, I swear to Chuuya if you don’t leave me alone I will hunt you down and empty the rest of your hair care. I didn’t use your stupid curling mask, my hair is straight. It would be a waste of time,” I decided to go out.

“Yes, I realize that today is wash day and Mina is coming over and I realize that you were at my house last time it was used. I don’t know, I’m at Osamu’s.” I hope he placates his boyfriend soon. I want to talk to the demon.

“I’ll send you some money and you can buy another bottle,” I could see he was getting irritated.

“Fine, I’ll give Osamu the phone,” he throws his phone at me and bangs his head on the table.

“Broccoli Boy, how are you?”  I can hear him giggling.

“I’m good, how are you?” He likes to pretend to be sweet, he’s a little gremlin.

“I’m doing good, why did you want to talk to me?” I can hear him sigh.

“Mom wants to know if you want to bring your family over for dinner tomorrow night. She’s putting together an entire feast,” He said, sounding excited.

“A couple of school friends are going to be there as well. Mina, Yaomomo, Kaminari, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Tokoyami. She would love it if you and your family would come along,” I think about it.

“Put your mother on the phone,” Katsuki and Chuuya look up at that, I hold up a finger.

“Osamu dear, Izuku said you wanted to talk to me. Is something the matter?” I smile and laugh.

“No Auntie, I just wanted to confirm tomorrow's dinner,” She sighs.

“Yes, tomorrow at five. Izuku is having some friends over and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to get your family over. Izuku is even moving his wash day with Mina so they will do it tomorrow. He’s going to use it as an opportunity to get you to wash your hair,” That gremlin, wait until I get my hands on him.

“So the call to Katsuki was a plot to wash my hair?” She hummed.

“He says it is a crime that someone with as good of hair as you doesn’t do anything to upkeep it. So he hatched a plan with Mina,” Great, now I gotta sit through that.

“So, about the family thing. Katsuki is with me right now, and I just adopted three more kids. So including Chuuya and me, it would be nine people,” She laughed.

“Don’t worry, we have enough room and food. One of the kids is bringing his older siblings, anyway. It’s just a meal so I can meet some of Izuku’s friends and have a nice time,” I look at Chuuya and he gets ready for a talk.

“That’s good, it would be a good opportunity for Atsushi, Kenji, and Kyouka to meet you and make some friends,” Everyone looks at me, at that.

“You just moved to a house, right?” A pause, “Yes I did. I sent you the address, right?” I hummed and nodded, even though she couldn’t see me.

“You did, we will be there tomorrow Auntie, I’m sure that Katsuki would love to see his boyfriend.” Katsuki is glaring and growling like a feisty dog, now. He’s so cute.

“I’m sure he would,” Inko agreed.

“Well, I’ll let the kids know about tomorrow. Thank you, for the invitation,” She hummed.

“Oh come now, you’re family. You can come over anytime. I’m going to hang up. Izuku is studying, he can talk to Katsuki later,” She said, then hung up. Inko is the kindest lady. I turn to see the rest of the family has been gathered by Chuuya.

“Katsuki, you should know by now that your gremlin boyfriend doesn’t let himself get low on his curling mask,” Katsuki glared at me.

“I know that. I just thought he was having an off day. What did Auntie want and why are you going over there?” He asked.

“Auntie Inko invited us to a family dinner with some of your classmates,” I could see Atsushi and Kyouka stiffen at that.

“The green-haired menace used his empty bottle as an excuse to conspire with a friend to get me to do their hair care routine. His words were, ‘ It is a crime that somebody with such good hair doesn’t do anything to upkeep it.’ So he knew that this dinner was happening and waited until he was out so he could get me to sit down with him and that Mina girl,” I could see Chuuya and Kyuu laughing while Ryuu and Gin were shaking trying to hold their laughter in.

“But, the dinner is legit. Besides, I can’t say no to Auntie.” Chuuya and Katsuki nodded at that. Atsushi spoke up.

“Does that mean that we will be meeting potential classmates tomorrow?” He asked quietly.

“Yes it would, as far as I know, it is six classmates, you should be fine. Izuku wouldn’t be friends with mean people,” Katsuki shook his head in agreement.

“Who is coming?” He asked.

“I believe he said Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima, Yaomomo, Tokoyami, and Todoroki are going to be there.” He nodded.

“They are some of the nicest people in the class. They wouldn’t dare mess with any of you. Kirishima, Kaminari, and Mina are some of the people who always hang around me. Tokoyami, Todoroki, and Yaomomo, are around Deku a lot. Tokoyami is the quietest,” Atsushi looks relieved to hear that.

“Do we have to bring anything?” I nod.

“We should bring a dish, just to be polite,” I say and he thinks.

“What if we bring a hotpot?” Katsuki speaks up.

“We should bring Deku another curling mask as well. If nothing else he will have a second one. And if he and Mina got their claws in you he will need more product anyways,” Kenji looked at Katsuki.

“What’s a curling mask?” I expected Katsuki to blow him off but to my surprise, he was pretty calm about answering him.

“A curling mask is something they put in their hair to help it curl and stay curly. Mina and Deku are the only two kids in the class with curly hair so they decided to use the same products to keep costs low. Even though I can get the whole set and not put a dent in my bank account,” Ryuu smirks.

“Are you upset that you can’t spoil your boyfriend?” Ryuu taunted.

“So we would need to be there earlier? So you can get your hair done.” Kyouka asked, not paying any attention to Ryuu or Katsuki.

“Yes, we would be there about two o’clock. She’s always expected us earlier so we can catch up. And so the little menace and his friend can do my hair.” It would be nice to meet some of Katsuki's friends.

The next day was eventful and full of good news. I got a call from Ranpo saying that Edgar got a call from UA asking to come down for an interview. I woke up to Chuuya telling me he got an interview at UA, and I got an interview. So tomorrow, Chuuya and I will drop off Katsuki at school and do our interviews with the principal. Hopefully, all goes well.

However, now it is time to go to Auntie’s. We grab the hot pot and all nine of us leave for the train station. We’re going to need a bigger car. Or, at least, a second car.

It was a bit of a hassle, but we were finally standing outside a modest two-story house and I turned to the kids.

“None of you should be worried about today. Inko is a kind lady. She wouldn’t let anyone in her house who would be disrespectful to her other guests,” Atsushi, Kyouka, and Kenji nod in the back.

“Whatever, we all know there is no reason to worry. Auntie is a softy. She’ll love them,” Chuuya said.

“We look like creeps. Let’s go in,” Ryuu used Rashomon to grab Katsuki before he could bust in.

“Thank you, Ryuu,” I knocked on the door. A couple seconds later the gremlin opened the door.

“Osamu, you made it. Mom is in the kitchen. Mina is on her way, I’d say you have about 20 minutes before the fun begins,” I sigh and Chuuya hands him the hotpot.

“Manners, green bean,” I tell him.

“I’m sorry, my name is Izuku Midoriya. Come on, in.” He steps aside and we all file in.

“Mom, Osamu, and his family are here,” Izuku called out, seconds later I heard footsteps and then there was Inko Midoriya in all her glory.

“Osamu, Chuuya, you boys should come visit more often,” She says as she kisses Chuuya on the cheek.

“Ryuu, you’ve grown taller, how wonderful. Gin you are just as beautiful as ever. Kyuu, you are so cute. Katsuki, get my son under control. He is salivating at the idea of doing Osamu’s hair.” Katsuki groaned and bopped Izu on the head.

“I got you two bottles of the stuff. Now you won’t run out as quickly. Just wait until Mina gets here and I will give them to you,” Izuku finally settled down.

“Now then, who are these three?” She asked turning towards my newest kids.

“My name is Kenji. Dazai just adopted us a couple of days ago,” Kenji told her. She looked at me.

“Is that so? Well, it’s nice to meet you, Kenji,” She said reaching to shake Kenji’s hand.

“And you, young lady?” She asked, Kyouka.

“My name is Kyouka Izumi. I’m 15,” She said, quietly.

“She’s a little shy,” I whisper to Inko. She nods at me.

“It’s nice to meet you Kyouka. I hope you have a nice time today,” And last but not least, she turned to Atsushi.

“And you are?” She asked.

“I’m Atsushi. It’s nice to meet you,” He said, reaching to shake her hand.

“Oh my, it's nice to meet you too.” She said, grabbing his hand.

“Come in, sit down. We are expecting more guests soon. Anyways, where are you guys going to school?” She asked them.

“We want to go to UA. If we can't get in then we will do homeschooling,” Atsushi said, Inko looked at me.

“That sounds good. My Izuku goes to school there. I'm sure he would be happy to help you get around,” She said, with a taunt smile.

“What course are you trying to get into?” Izuku asked.

“The hero course,” I saw him stiffen and grab Katsuki’s hand.

“That’s great, although, there is only one spot open in class 1B, I don’t know how that will work,” I see, he doesn’t want them to get hurt.

“We know about the problems 1A is facing,” Chuuya spoke up.

“So why would you put them into the Hero Course?” Izuku hissed.

“Because they wanted to,” I said, they need to trust that I wouldn’t let anyone hurt them. Before he could respond there was a knock on the door.

“Izuku, will you please get the door? I’m certain it’s Mina,” Inko said, I watched him leave the room and sighed. They have to put more faith in the fact that I know what I’m doing.

“Midobabe, how are you?” A cheerful voice said.

“I’m good Mina. Katsuki and his family are here,” I heard a giggle.

“Does that mean that I get to meet Bakubabe’s family?” A girl asked, we heard footsteps and then saw who was talking. So this is Mina Ashido. She was carrying a bag and a large container.

“Hello, I’m Mina Ashido. I’m one of Bakubabe’s and Midobabe’s friends. It’s nice to see you again, Ms. Midoriya,” She said, she seems like a nice girl.

“It is nice to see you again, dear. I see you brought some stuff,” Mina looked down.

“Yeah, I know you said we didn’t have to bring anything but my mom and I decided to make some spicy tuna rolls. You should be prepared for the others to bring food as well,” She said as she handed Auntie the food. Then she turned to us.

“Hello, are you Bakubabe’s family?” I could hear Katsuki groan every time she said ‘Bakubabe.’ It is hilarious. Ryuu was laughing hard by the time Katsuki slammed his head on the coffee table.

“Yes, we are Katsuki’s family. It’s nice to meet you,” Chuuya said.

After the introductions, Mina turned to Izuku.

“I have the skincare and haircare, which one are we working on?” Skincare, there was no mention of skin care. I could see Izuku smile.

“The brunette, Osamu, never does anything for his hair or skin. I convinced him to join us,” They both turned to me and this was the moment when I realized that I was dealing with twin gremlins. And Katsuki just handed over the curling masks as if he wasn’t betraying me.

“You know, I have a friend who has wavy hair. I have it on good authority that he might end up being your dorm guardian. If that happens, we can get him to join in these wash days,” Ha, if I’m going down, I’m dragging someone down with me.

“That sounds like fun. The three of us can do wash days together,” She turns to Izuku.

“Do you think we can get him to help pay for the products? They are expensive,” She asked with a contemplative look.

“We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it,” He said, then they both turned to me. Chuuya help me.

The process wasn’t that bad. I was concerned with the amount of product they put in my hair but it was very soothing and they assured me that everything was very healthy for my hair. They sat me down on a chair in front of the bathroom sink and went to work on my hair.

Starting with a pre-shampoo scalp mask, Mina assured me that it would help with the oil in my hair. Then the actual shampoo, then the conditioner. They put the curling mask into my hair. And a diffuser to the hair, then the skincare happened. Luckily, that was less time-consuming as Mina only brought three products a cleanser, moisturizer, and serum.

By the time she was done, my face looked amazing. They dragged me out to my family. My waves were more pronounced than ever and I could admit that I would do it again. The whole process took about an hour. It felt good to be pampered. I could see why Mina and Izu do this once a week.

My favorite part of the whole process is the compliments I got from Chuuya and the family. Chuuya was very insistent on getting a picture of me. They also gave compliments to Mina and Izu as they did their routine while helping me.

A knock on the door broke up the conversation once more. Izuku went to answer it and we were soon introduced to Momo Yaoyorozu, or as she asked us to call her, Yaomomo. Her, Kyouka, and Gin got along well enough. And soon enough the three struck up a conversation. It’s nice knowing that Gin is willing to make friends with these people.

Kenji and Mina also seem to be getting close. And Atsushi and Izuku seem to get along, as well. However, the UA kids seem to be wary of getting too close to us. They know I want to put Atsushi, Kenji, and Kyouka into UA, so I guess they are preparing for some sort of fallout.

When everybody showed up I could finally get a feel for how the UA students interact with each other. For instance, none of the UA students seem adverse to physical affection from each other. I know that shared traumatic events can bring people closer. But these kids act like a mini family.

When Todoroki started to hang off of Izuku, I looked at Katsuki and saw he didn’t even bat an eye at them. It was weird because he is possessive of people. Hell, even Tokoyami was sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with Momo. The part that has me most complex is Katsuki. He is allowing Kirishima and Kaminari to hang off him, I noticed that neither Fuyumi nor Natsuo, Todoroki’s siblings, nor Inko, seemed to care that they are this physically affectionate with each other.

Fuyumi is nice, she’s a teacher at an elementary school. Natsuo seems cool enough, he seems content with messing with his little brother.

Eventually, Inko noticed me analyzing everyone and pulled me aside.

“What are you thinking about?” She asked, nicely.

“Oh, I’m just wondering about the relationship between the students,” I tell her, her eyes convey her sadness.

“They got close fast, between the USJ incident, the training camp incident, and the bullying and harassment from the school, there was no other choice but to grow closer,” She began, at this time Chuuya and Fuyumi joined us.

“The school children alienate them so they only hang out by themselves and a couple of other kids. Some of their parents aren’t making it easy on them, either. Take Denki’s parents, his mom is a pro-hero and she decided he could have done more to help at the USJ, most nights he sleeps at a friend’s house because she lost all of her care and understanding for him,” Fuyumi hummed.

“And, they have developed safe zone houses for the students. Momo, Kirishima, Ms. Inko, Mina, and Tokoyami’s houses are all designated safe zones for the kids to go to if they need to get away from their parents. That’s why Kaminari brought a bag with him,” I noticed that he brought the bag.

“If I may ask, why isn’t your house a safe zone, Fuyumi?” She sighed.

“Our father agrees that Shoto could have done more. Shoto ends up staying here almost every night. He had his things packed the night we were informed of the dorms,” His father sounds like a piece of shit.

“I’ve heard that things got bad at UA, I just hoped it wouldn’t have gotten this bad,” They both nodded solemnly.

“It’s a good thing we’ve applied to teach there,” They both looked at me and Chuuya in shock.

“Really? Did you apply to teach at UA? That’s great, then you could protect the kids from the inside,” I nod.

“That is the plan. I want to keep it under wraps. I’m not trying to get their hopes up,” Inko shook her head.

“If Katsuki knows, he will share with them. There are no secrets between them,” I looked at the kids and noticed they were starting to glance at Chuuya and me. Katsuki told them.

“I see, that’s good to know. It makes teamwork easier,” Chuuya said, noticing the same thing I did. With that, the conversation was over.

Kenji ended up hanging out with Katsuki's friend group. While Kyouka and Atsushi fit more with Izuku and his friends. We all ended up eating in the living room. It was loud conversations and laughter. Until Momo asked us about the teacher’s position.

The students seemed to close themselves off before my very eyes. Todoroki reached for Izuku’s hand while Kaminari, Kirishima, Mina, and Bakugou scooted closer to each other. Tokoyami and Momo were practically on top of each other. I could see the confusion in Atsushi and Kenji’s eyes. I guess they didn’t notice the closeness before now.

“I told you all before, they are on our side,” Katsuki spoke up.

“Kacchan, please let Momo handle this,” Izuku said, scooting closer to Katsuki.

“They may be your family but most of us don’t know anything about them,” Todoroki said, staring Katsuki down.

“Bakubro, just let her do this,” Kirishima said, they seemed to drain the fight right out of him.

“Fine, just make it quick,” I see, this is some sort of test.

“So, you both are heroes?” She asked, “Yes, we are both underground heroes. Chuuya deals with small gangs and such while I deal with the survivors. I give them resources to get back on their feet,” I answered, seriously. I need to earn their trust right here. She looks at the others and Todoroki moves to whisper in her ear.

“What do you think of All Might?” She asked staring me down.

“I think he has no business being a teacher. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and I believe he should have been fired for what he did at the sports festival,” she looked at Chuuya.

“What he said, I know from Katsuki that he doesn’t teach you guys any kind of teamwork and that is important for heroes to learn. I would go so far as to say he is setting you up to fail,” The students, plus Katsuki seemed to be communicating with their eyes. Izuku, surprisingly enough, was the next to ask a question.

“What do you think about the Hero Commission?” This time Chuuya answered.

“I don’t like how much control they have over everything. They control how heroes are ranked and they aren’t doing a good job of it. The ranking system is a joke,” he said, I can see the students relax just a bit. We must be doing good.

“They are corrupt. Hawks is just a commission pawn. Considering how fast he rose in the polls despite being so young,” I noticed Tokoyami relax completely at that.

“One last question. What are your feelings about Endeavor?” Todoroki asked. I decided not to hold back.

“I’m surprised he hasn’t lost his hero’s license yet. Between his casualty and property damage rate, I’m shocked they keep him around. I wouldn’t feel safe with that man around,” I say, finally, they all relaxed.

“I agree, that man shouldn’t be a hero. I’m surprised he isn’t sued more often,” That was it. The final thing they needed to trust us. They all looked at each other and smiled.

“I told you they were good. We will be fine,” Katsuki said.

“Quit barking and eat the food,” Kyuu said. Everyone at the table started laughing.

Tonight was a good night. Let’s hope that tomorrow will be just as good.

Notes:

I based the hair and skin routine on my own.

Fun fact: Autocorrect on google docs changes Chuuya to Chubby.

Chapter 4

Summary:

Good news, all around. Dazai finds an arch-nemesis. Chuuya finds a bigger car.

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

Today is the day. Chuuya and I are going to interview for the position. The three of us got to the train station and we were on our way to UA.

When we got to UA I handed Katsuki the permission slip and went to the visitor's area. After getting checked in, Chuuya had his interview first. It took a while but he came out with a confused look on his face. I decided I wanted the surprise so I didn’t ask him any questions and we waited together until I was called.

Here is where I met the infamous principal of UA, principal Nedzu. The stoat was exactly how I expected him to be. He shook my hand and I sat down across from him.

“So, Mr. Dazai, I heard from your husband that you are interested in the Class 1A teaching position. Your brother is young Bakugou, correct?” I nod.

“Yes, sir. He is my brother,” He stared me down.

“So you know of the treatment that Class 1A is getting?” He already knew the answer to that.

“Yes, I do. I met some of the other kids in class and saw signs of trauma in them,” He nodded.

“Yes, what happened to Shouta Aizawa was an unfortunate accident. Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t see it that way,” That is true. I’ve noticed the way students looked at Katsuki when we arrived. Like his very existence is offensive to them.

“Your credentials are impressive. A bachelor’s degree in education. An underground hero’s license. You’ve done a lot of work with your husband. Helping trauma victims get back on their feet,” We both know how exaggerated this application is.

“You’ve said you noticed signs of trauma in class 1A, how do you plan on helping them?” He asked, I’ve been thinking about this for a while.

“First and most obvious is making the dorms a safe space for them. If they don’t feel safe in the dorms, then they won’t feel safe at all. Maybe, schedule them for therapy with Hound Dog,” Nedzu pulled a face at that.

“Hound Dog might not be a good option for Class 1A,” I sigh.

“What about bringing in an off-campus therapist,” Nedzu shook his head.

“The school board would have too much say in who that would be. The therapist won’t be there for the kids, but more of a spy for the school board, or worse, the commission.” Right, that makes sense.

“What about permitting them to go off campus to a trusted therapist? If I could, I would get them sessions with the ADA’s therapist but their office is an hour away and I don’t know if they would be willing to travel the distance,” He thought for a minute.

“We could always reach out to the therapist for a list of recommendations. If they are trusted by Fukuzawa then they should be good, I don’t believe that Fukuzawa would send his employees to a bad therapist.

“You talked to Fukuzawa?” I asked.

“Yes, he was quite insightful. Would you still be attending your therapy sessions?” He asked.

“We can move to video call,” He looked at me.

“This therapist allows for video calls?” I nodded.

“She prefers to do the first visit in person and then gives the option to do more in-person visits or switch to video calls,” I can tell he is scheming.

“I can allow for one visit at her office and then have them switch to video calls, we can defer to an in-town psychiatrist for any medications that come up,” This is not how I imagined this interview going.

“Every application we’ve gotten so far was from the commission or someone close to the school board,” Huh, I guess the commission is trying to establish a presence in UA.

“You see the problem in that, don’t you?” I nod.

“If the commission can get a foothold in UA, they can shape the children to be perfect commission drones. There are very few underground heroes for a reason. I assume the commission has something to do with that,” I stated, he nodded in confirmation.

“Very few underground heroes are with the commission. That is because a lot of them have been tormented because of their lack of a “heroic” quirk. Shouta had a quirk similar to yours. He was a marvelous hero but had to fight his way into the hero course.” He brought out a tea set.

“I will be honest, I decided after my talk with Fukuzawa that I would hire you and your husband. You have good credentials and teaching experience. You work with trauma victims, and I believe you will be a good addition to the school. That being said, have you figured out a way to do your work in the agency and do teacher’s work?” I nod.

“A lot of what I do is paperwork. I can do that from anywhere. On the rare occasion that I have to go out on the field, we might have to get a sub every once in a while,” he nods.

“That’s good, well then, when can you start?” He asks.

“I have a few lesson plans already but I would need a bit more time. However, I do have a couple of things I need to ask,” I say, he motions for me to continue.

“My family is pretty big. I have seven kids and I’m an emergency foster parent. I have three of my kids signed up to take the entrance exam here,” He thinks.

“What are their names?” He asks, turning to the computer.

“Kenji Miyazawa, Izumi Kyouka, and Atsushi Nakajima.” He nods.

“They will have to take the physical exam, but instead of robots, it would be the recommendations exam. They will also take the written exam,” He states pulling out multiple forms.

“I noticed they didn’t make any hero costumes so these are the forms for them to fill out. Have them fill them out tonight and I will see about getting them in tomorrow. As for your other children, we have a tutor for kids who must be pulled out of school because of the dorms. If you want we can get them a tutor as well.”  Well, only one of them is still homeschooling.

“Only Kyuu is still homeschooling. The other two have ended their lessons, however, I believe that a tutor will be necessary for Kyuu,” We sit there in silence for a few moments.

“How about on Wednesday? That will give you time to get your kids ready and you will be able to move into the dorms on time, how does that sound?” I nodded in shock.

“Yes sir, that sounds like it is for the best,” The question he asked next was shocking.

“Would you like to visit class 1A? See where you would teach?” I nod and he walks me out.

“Follow us, Mr. Nakahara. We are going to visit Class 1A. You start in two days,” The stoat said.

“Thank you,” Chuuya said as we followed the stoat.

After seeing the cafeteria and the teacher’s lounge we stood in front of 1A. I could hear loud talking and assumed it was a substitute but when Chuuya opened the door for me and Nedzu I saw it was All Might.

“I’ve never seen you here. Who are you?” All Might said, not noticing Nedzu.

“I am Dazai Osamu, I am class 1A’s new teacher,” Most of the kids are looking at me with caution, however, I could see the kids I met at Izuku’s smiling at me.

“Right… and you are?” The jackass turned to Chuuya.

“Chuuya, I’m his teacher’s aide,” Chuuya said with disinterest.

“I see, what are your quirks?” He asked.

“I have complete control over gravity. Osamu has nullification,” Chuuya said. All Might seemed to have lost interest in me.

“You seem to be very close to Mr. Dazai already. Do you happen to know each other?” He asked.

“He is my husband,” Chuuya said, showing the necklace with our wedding rings.

The look All Might gave us spoke volumes.

“Do you think that is wise, working with your partner?” He asked Chuuya.

“Why don’t you let us worry about our personal lives? It doesn’t concern you,” I said before Chuuya could answer.

“Well, I am just worried. Water Hose was a hero couple and look what happened to them,” the bitch said.

“I don’t care how concerned you are. It’s none of your business. Now, we came here to meet my new class. Not sit here and fight with you,” I pushed my way around him, dragging Chuuya with me.

“Good morning everyone. I’m sorry about the argument that you just saw. My name is Dazai Osamu, this is my husband, Chuuya. We will be starting on Wednesday but for now, does anyone have any questions?” Immediately a hand went into the air. A boy with glasses stood up.

“Hello, my name is Iida Tenya, as the class president I feel I must welcome you to UA,” he said, waving his arms around.

“Yes, let us all strive to work with each other and make this a great year,” Momo stood up and said. Chuuya smiled at her, then chose another student.

“Aoyama Yuga, how long have you been married?” He asked.

“I don’t think that is a very appropriate question to ask,” All Might interrupted, I could see Aoyama flinch at that.

“I think it would be best to let us worry about what is appropriate and what’s not,” Chuuya said, as he glared at All Might.

“We have been married for five years,” I said, ignoring the staring contest. I chose the next student.

“Monoma Neito, what is your fighting style?” He asked.

“Well, I have a touch-based ability so I would use hand-to-hand combat,” I said, then Chuuya answered.

“Even though I can control gravity, I use martial arts in combat,” A boy with a tail, raised his hand.

“Ojiro Mashirao, what type of martial arts do you practice?” He asked Chuuya.

“I use a kick-based fighting style. I would put myself in mixed martial arts,” He answered.

“I believe we should be getting back to class. The kids have been distracted enough,” All Might said.

“Getting to know a new teacher is a distraction?” I asked, I deserve to be petty.

“I feel you would have plenty of time to get to know each other on Wednesday,” He said, with his arms crossed.

“Well, principal Nedzu is here. He let us do this in the first place. I don’t see him throwing us out. Unless you kids are desperate to go back to your lessons,” I stated, turning to the students.

“Dazai is right, Toshinori. I’m fine with the students asking questions,” The rat said.

“Sir, do you think we should be wasting class time like this? As it is, we have been too lenient on them. They need to learn,” All Bitch said.

“Too lenient? You mean, physically restraining a student at the sports festival because they wanted to refuse a medal is too lenient?” I can’t hold this back anymore.

“Young Bakugou won and he should’ve been gracious about it,” I sigh.

“He also refused the medal because he didn’t believe the win was deserved. Could you tell that he was having a panic attack? Did anyone stop to think for one second that maybe, they could have just not given out a medal? That you could have left it alone?” I said, getting closer to him.

“With how dangerous his quirk is we did the right thing in restraining him. He could have hurt any one of us,” I would have punched him if Chuuya hadn’t stepped in front of me.

“So you chose to hurt him instead?” At this point, Katsuki stood up and went by me.

“I think you are being out of line. Sir, he is not the best fit for this job. He doesn’t know how to deal with children,” Izuku and Mina snorted at that. “

Young Midoriya, young Ashido, is there something you two find funny?” He asked, Katsuki went to stand in front of Izuku.

“We have six adopted kids and I regularly take care of my little brother. How many kids do you have?” He was flustered at that.

“Well, that is another reason that you two shouldn’t be teaching. You have a family to raise,” Principal Nedzu decided enough was enough.

“That is enough, Toshinori. I decided to hire them. It doesn’t matter what you think.” I could tell that angered All Might.

“I think it would be best to let you get back to class. Katsuki, take the train to our house,” he nodded.

“Why would young Bakugou go to your house?” All Might asked.

“He is my little brother,” I said.

“I have met young Bakugou’s parents. They know how to take care of their kid. Why would you need to take care of him?” I glare at him.

“I have told you before. It is none of your business. I suggest you leave me alone. You don’t need to know anything,” With that, I turned to the students.

“I apologize for how bad this has gone. Perhaps we will have a better time on Wednesday. For now, I will let you guys get back to class. I have to get back to the agency anyways,” We took our leave before All Bitch could say anything else to us.

On Tuesday morning, I was in the observation area while Atsushi, Kenji, and Kyouka took their tests. They already took their written tests and are on the physical exams. Unfortunately, my new arch nemesis All Might was here and he couldn’t resist commenting on my presence.

Fortunately, there was another teacher here, Midnight.

“They all seem to have a lot of potential. They will make fine heroes. I love the teamwork,” Midnight stated.

“Dazai, what do you think?” She asked.

“They are doing good. Kyouka is making good use of her ability. She is having Demon Snow fight the villain bots, while she helps rescue civilian bots,” I said, All Might decided to speak up.

“She is doing fine and all but her quirk’s name concerns me. Who would feel safe around a person with a quirk named Demon Snow,” Midnight glared at him.

“She is doing just fine and should make it into the hero course, no problem. What do we think about Kenji Miyazawa?” She asked.

“He seems to be focused on the villain bots. While he isn’t doing much to help the civilian bots, he is keeping them out of harm's way while Nakajima Atsushi saves the civilian bots. They want to be underground heroes?” She asked, pulling up their files.

“Yes, that would work best for them. They already have experience working in an Agency. The Armed Detective Agency. I’ve heard of them. They do a lot of good for Yokohama,” She finished.

“Well, it is good that they have experience but I am worried the other students will find their entrance unfair. Not only is their guardian the new teacher at UA. They also got to take a different test than all the other students,” Principal Nedzu looked at us.

“They already have enough points to get into the hero course. At this point, they are just waiting out the clock. They are going above and beyond what we ask of our entering students. I have no doubts they will make fine heroes,” All Might sighed.

“I suppose that is true. I think Atsushi will make a good spotlight hero,” I looked at him.

“He doesn’t want to be a spotlight hero. He wants to go underground,” I stated.

“Where is Chuuya? Shouldn’t he be here?” Principal Nedzu asked.

“He is looking at bigger cars. Atsushi, Kyouka, and Kenji were recently adopted, so we haven’t had time to get a bigger car,” I told him.

“Well, give him these. They will get you into the school,” He said, holding up teacher’s passes.

“Thank you, sir,” I said, grabbing the cards.

“That is it. The test is over. It is safe to say that they passed. While this has been going on, I have been grading the written test. I am proud to say that the hero course has three new students,” Principal Nedzu said.

“I will have the secretary make new student passes and prepare their uniforms. They should be ready by the end of the hour,” THe principal said before leaving the room.

When the uniforms and badges were handed over to me, I made a new friend in Midnight.

“It was nice meeting you Dazai, I will see you in the teacher’s lounge tomorrow?” She asked.

“It was nice meeting you too. I’m sure we will see each other,” I said as I saw the kids coming towards us.

“Did you see us? It was so cool,” Kenji said, he was very excited about this.

“Yes, you guys did amazing. I just have a bit more paperwork to fill out. Atsushi, take my phone and call Chuuya,” He nodded and did as I said.

“Thank you, Dazai. You should be good to go,” Nedzu said.

“Thank you. Have a nice day,” I said as the three kids followed me to the front of the school.

About 20 minutes later Chuuya pulled up in a fucking Mercedes Benz Sprinter Passenger Van.

“This is a good car,” I said as I got in the passenger seat.

“Yeah, the dealership was owned by the Port so they just gave me the car. Although the dealer didn’t look too happy about it,” I nod.

“I wouldn’t either,” I said as we drove back to Yokohama.

“We should stop by the agency, and give them the good news,” Chuuya slammed on the gas, using his gravity to avoid the other cars.

“Are you having a good time with your new toy?” I asked, poking his ribs.

“Shut up, I haven’t done this in a while,” He said, poking me back.

“Where are Ryuu and Gin?” Kyouka asked.

“They are in a meeting at the Port Mafia,” Chuuya told her.

“And Katsuki is going to take the train to the house,” I added. She nodded and went back to her conversation with Kenji.

“Can we get crepes?” She asked us. I looked at the clock and noticed it was lunchtime.

“Why don’t we get the others and get lunch? We can get crepes afterward,” The three of them looked at each other.

Thanks to Chuuya, the drive to Yokohama took half the time it normally would have. We picked up Ryuu, Gin, and Kyuu and had a nice lunch. Stopping at the crepe stand by the agency.

We got to the agency, but Kunikida wasn’t there. Thank Chuuya, I don’t feel like dealing with him.

“Dazai, how did the exams go?” Yosano asked.

“They went well. You are looking at three new UA students,” I said as I pushed the kids in front of me. Fukuzawa stepped out of his office to see what was going on.

“I see everything went well,” He said, with a smile on his face.

“Yes sir, they passed their exams with flying colors,” I told him.

“That’s good. Congratulations, all of you,” He said.

“They start tomorrow,” I said.

“Good, hopefully, you make some friends,” Yosano said.

“Yeah, we met a few of the kids in class 1A. They were nice,” Atsushi said.

“Oh, when did you meet them?” Fukuzawa asked.

“A family friend had us over for dinner, since her son goes to school at UA they had a couple of his friends over,” Fukuzawa nodded.

While Fukuzawa was talking to the kids, Yosano pulled me aside.

“Did you get the job?” She asked, I nodded with a large smile.

“Good, are we still going to do the monthly sleepover?” She looked sad.

“Of course, how else are we going to talk shit about Mori?” I said, hugging her.

“That makes me feel better, thank you,” She said, hugging me back.

“So, when do you start teaching?” She asked.

“I start tomorrow. I have a few assignment plans, I’m thinking we could do physical tests. Just to see where everyone is physically, and work from there,” I told her.

“That way you can get a better gauge of where everyone is at and make better lesson plans,” She said.

“Yes, also from what Katsuki said, I have a student that will cause some issues. His name is Mineta and he likes to harass the female students of the class. If I can get an excuse, for instance, if he is not physically able to keep up with the hero course, then I should be able to get him away from the students. Katsuki said there is a kid in another class who would be a good fit in 1A. Shinsou Hitoshi is in General Education, and from what I’ve seen at the sports festival he has good control over his quirk. With a little bit of training, he should be ready to take the heroes course physical test. I’m planning on approaching him soon to take him as a personal student,” I just have to beat the school at their own game.

“Why didn’t they move kids to fill up the blank spots in the class?” She asked, by this time Ranpo had come over.

“Nobody wanted the spot,” I told them.

“That sucks, what about this Shinsou kid? Why wasn’t he offered a spot?” I think about it.

“I believe that the official reason is that he simply cannot pass the transfer exam. However, a comment All Might made had me thinking. He suggested that Kyouka wouldn’t be a good fit for the hero course simply because of her ability’s name. Shinsou has a quirk called brainwashing. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone, maybe even All Might, contested his transfer because of his quirk,” Ranpo nodded.

“I can see that happening. A lot of people put too much stock into quirks. With enough training, I can see the kid getting into the hero course,” I can’t imagine how much work that would be.

“Have him train with your class for a bit. That way you can see if the kid can handle it,”  I nodded, I’m sure the kid will acclimate nicely.

“I came over here to tell you some good news. Ed got the job, you have a dorm guardian,” This is the best day.

I just hope that tomorrow will go just as well.

Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Summary:

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

Today is the day. My first class with 1A. Fortunately, Chuuya is here to keep me from killing All Bitch. Unfortunately, All Bitch felt the need to sit and watch me teach. That in itself was annoying, but the commentary he makes is even more annoying.

“Hello class, I hope you had a great beginning of the week. I was thinking we could start with physical exams. Then we can go over your hero costumes. Finally, if there is any time left, we can just hang out and run out the clock. How do we feel about that?” Before any of the students spoke up, Stick Might just had to open his mouth.

“What is the point of going over hero costumes? It would be wasting class time. Considering their progress so far, I believe that class time would be better used in rescue training,” I ignored him and moved on.

“So, any questions?” I tried to push forward. Momo raised her hand.

“Sir, would it be possible to change our hero costumes? I am quite uncomfortable with how my costume turned out. It draws too much unwanted attention,” Once again the Walking Dead Reject had to interrupt.

“Young Yaoyorozu, your hero costume is good for your quirk. There is no need to make such a drastic change just because you are uncomfortable with how it looks,” I turned to him.

“Maybe you should let me decide how to proceed. Last I checked, this isn’t your class anymore,” With that, I turned back to the class.

“We can review any changes you want to make after the physical exam. Does anyone else have any questions?” I asked. Iida raised his hands.

“What are your rules for the class?” He asked, perhaps I should have expected that question.

“Um, I think we will have to add rules as we get through the school year. However, let's go over some basic rules.

“Be respectful to students and teachers, unless the situation demands it. If you can’t turn in homework for any reason, just tell me. We can work something out. You guys are going right into hero work after you graduate?” The entire class gave affirmations.

“Then I would say that all the tests I give you will be open notes and any resource you can get your hands on. You can even work with others and discuss the answers before turning them in.” I tell them. Before I can explain my reasoning, Skeletor decided to butt in again.

“Isn’t that cheating? I would never allow the students to do this,” Chuuya decided to deal with him this time.

“Then it’s a good thing you aren’t teaching. You are the only one wasting class time, so do us all a favor and shut up,” That was hot.

“When you all graduate you will be expected to work with other heroes. You need to be able to work with them. Besides, when you are thirty nobody is going to care that you looked up an answer to a question. That is what search engines are for,” I explained, Iida and the rest of the class nodded.

“So you don’t care that we are looking up the answers on our phones?” A kid with six arms asked.

“Nope, for tests and assignments, I don’t care how you came up with the right answers, you just need to come up with the right ones,” I told them.

“What about questions where there is no right answer?” Todoroki asked. “

Then those questions will be counted as extra credit questions,” Chuuya answered, I nodded in confirmation.

“How will you be able to tell the difference between the better-performing students?” The Undead Jackass had to ask.

“Through physical exams. I will be testing them on paper and in physical exams whether that be taking down villains or rescue training. However, today and tomorrow will be about gauging where the students are currently,” I say.

“Alright, we have wasted enough class time talking about this. Meet me and Chuuya at the training grounds in your hero costumes,” With that, all the students got up and made their way to the locker rooms.

After we all got to the training grounds I examined the students and I immediately noticed what Momo was talking about.

“Yaoyorozu, I see what you're talking about. I am going to ask you to go back and change into the gym uniform,” I looked at Atsushi, standing right next to Momo, frantically waving me over. When I got there he pointed at Mineta.

“He hasn’t stopped talking about the girls in the locker room. He was being very inappropriate,” I nod and look at him.

“Mineta, I need to talk to you after class,” I told him.

“Why? What did I do?” He asked as if the mere thought that he could do anything wrong was preposterous.

“I will explain that after class,” I tell him.

“So, I had the school turn the training grounds into an obstacle course. You will be timed by how fast you can complete it. Kirishima, you’re up first.” he nodded and went to start the course. Chuuya was in charge of timing.

While Kirishima did the course, Momo came back looking much more comfortable.

“We are doing an obstacle course as the first thing. You’re up next,” I told her. She nodded and went to stand by me.

“Sir, are you certain you can get the changes made? I brought up my concerns before and was told there is nothing they can do,” She asked.

“You let me worry about that. We will get it sorted out,” Before she could say anything else, Chuuya called me over.

“He looks like he is having trouble with the climbing portion of the obstacle course. It's slowing him down,” I look at the footage and can confirm that he is having problems. I pull out a notebook and mark him down.

When Kirishima got back I sent Momo in and gave him some pointers.

“I noticed you use your quirk as a defense a lot. Is it strong enough to break a rock?” He nodded.

“Good, the next time you climb up the wall I want you to make toe holds by breaking the rock.” He nodded and went back in line.

Most of the students finished the course with little problems. Then it was Mineta's turn. I wasn't too surprised by how bad he was at everything. The only thing he did well was the climbing portion of the exercise. He seemed to be posturing more than doing the exercise. He couldn't defeat a single villain bot. When he got back I gave him my opinion.

“The only thing you did well on was the climbing wall. If you want to stay in the hero course I suggest you work hard,” I told him.

“Young Dazai, that was too harsh. He earned his place in the course just like everybody else. I believe that young Kyouka should have worked harder. She relied too much on her quirk,” Oh Hell no, I'll kill the man.

“First of all, don't call him 'Young Dazai'. He is a teacher, you need to respect that. Second, every student relied on their quirk. Todoroki used it to fly, as did Katsuki. That was the point of the exercise. Stay out of this,” Chuuya stepped in. Thank Chuuya for that.

“You all got my notes on what you can improve on,” I asked. They nodded and I clapped my hands.

“Good, you all did well. I’m proud,” We moved back into the building.

“Yaoyorozu, would you like to go over your options? I’m certain we can work things out with your hero costume,” When she nodded Stick Bitch opened his big fucking mouth again.

“I truly believe this is a waste of time. Her costume is fine. It works with her quirk,” I let Chuuya handle him because I can’t deal with him.

“Her costume might work with her quirk but she has expressed her discomfort with it. She has also made it known that she has requested changes to it before and was denied. She has a right to feel comfortable in her hero costume. This conversation is over. I don’t want to hear any more about this,” He said, turning his back to asshole.

“We can go with tear-away material like Midnight has,” She shook her head.

“That stuff looks uncomfortable,” That is true. It would be very formfitting and I don’t think she wants that.

I thought about it for a bit, when Izuku made a suggestion.

“What about clothes made from your DNA? That way you can use your quirk without having to remove your clothes and you can choose the fit,” that seems like a good idea.

“UA does have the resources. I think that could work,” I told her, and she nodded happily.

“I like that idea. Thank you, I thought I would be stuck with that costume,” She said.

“It’s no problem. You should have been listened to the first time,” I told her and sent her back to the seat.

We got through the hero costumes. Momo’s Iida’s, and Mina’s costumes were completely remade. Kyouka, Kenji, and Atsushi worked on making a stronger version of their work attire. The others were happy with their costumes.

“So, as promised you guys have the rest of the class to do whatever you like,” Some of the kids took that as an opportunity to get into study groups. I turned to Chuuya.

“I’m going to go talk to Shinsou. You’re in charge,” I told him. Before he could say anything Bitch Might spoke up.

“Why would you need to talk to Young Shinsou?” I sighed.

“I saw his performance at the sports festival and thought it was good. I am planning on taking him on as a personal student. Perhaps, give him a fighting chance to make it into the hero course,” I said as I packed my things.

“There is no need to take on a personal student. The hero course is full, there isn’t an opportunity for him,” The jackass said.

“If I want to scope out personal students that’s my business, not yours,” I turned to Katsuki.

“Katsuki, what class is Shinsou Hitoshi in?” The entire class quieted down.

“He is in class 1C, a couple of doors down, Mrs. Keiko teaches that class,” I nod and leave the classroom.

The students of 1C are very loud. That was the first thing I thought when I got to the door. I knock on the door and the teacher opens it.

“You’re the new teacher, aren’t you? What can I help you with?” Her breath stinks.

“I am here to talk to Shinsou Hitoshi,” She scowled.

“His quirk is dangerous,” I don’t like how this lady said that.

“I will be fine. However, I am on a time crunch so if you would?” I asked.

“Whatever, I warned you,” The second her back turned to me, I glared at her.

“I will be keeping him for the rest of class. So may you please send him with his stuff?” She nodded and faced the class.

“Shinsou, gather your stuff and go with mister…?” She looked at me.

“Dazai,” I told her. “Dazai, go with Mister Dazai,” When the kid stood up I was in shock.

Who the fuck let this bitch muzzle a student?

“I suggest you keep that on him. It is the only way to ensure your safety,” I glared at her.

This bitch is on my hit list. I think I found a person I hate more than Mori and the scientists who experimented on Chuuya. Only when she is jobless, homeless, and utterly humiliated will I see to it that she dies a slow and painful death. She will be begging for death by the time I am done with her.

I am most certainly getting Chuuya involved in this. First I get Mineta out of the class then get Shinsou in. He will never have to wear a fucking muzzle again. I am certain that Ranpo will turn a blind eye to the crimes I will commit.

I got the kid away from the classroom as quickly as I could. This reminds me too much of the abuse I suffered at the hands of my grandfather. He never liked it when I talked back.

“Hold still,” I told him, as I reached to remove the damn thing. I noticed the muzzle cut into his cheeks.

“Do you want to go to recovery girl?” I could see the fear in his eyes as he frantically shook his head.

“OK, why don’t we go to my classroom? I have a first-aid kit. We can get you patched up,” I noticed him messing with his phone. What class do you teach?

“I teach class 1A. How do you feel about going there?” I asked him, he nodded and we both went back to my class. I checked the clock and noticed we had ten minutes left before class ended.

“Can you tell me what your next class is? I’m going to send a message to your teacher, letting them know that you are going to be late,” He had math with Mrs. Arakaki next.

When we entered the class, all the chatter ceased at the sight of Shinsou.

“She muzzled you, again?” Izuku asked.

“Get the first aid kit. I don’t want the cuts to get infected,” I told Chuuya.

“Now, why would you take off the muzzle? It is a safety precaution.” Fuckface asked.

“Shut the fuck up,” I told him. Chuuya found the first aid kit and handed it to me.

“Destroy that. I don’t care how,” I said, handing the muzzle to him. He immediately took the wretched thing.

I could see Shinsou was shaking while I patched the cuts.

“I don’t think it would be a good idea. Going back to that woman’s class, you should stay here for the day,” I said, he nodded and messed with his phone. He showed me the screen. Why did you want to talk to me? I guess the kid needs a distraction.

“I wanted to ask you about the sports festival,” I tried to calm him down when he started shaking.

“I was very impressed by your performance. You showed excellent control over your quirk and showed off how quick-witted you are. I wanted to ask if you wanted to be my student. I want to help you train and see if you can get into the hero course,” He calmed down at that.

Are you sure? “Yes, I am very sure. I would start with a physical exam to see where you are at. Then we can work from there. What do you say?” I asked. It was the first time I heard him talk. But he sounded so sure of himself that I couldn’t help but smile.

“I will do it,” I nodded.

Of course, the Stick Figure had to ruin the moment.

“This is insanity. Give me the muzzle. He is dangerous and needs to be restrained,” I turned him.

“You need to leave my classroom. I will not tolerate the abuse of a student,” I told him.

“It is not abuse. These are merely safety precautions,” He said as he tried to grab at the muzzle.

“Chuuya, destroy that thing. Now!” I yelled. There was a metallic crunch and the muzzle was a little metal ball. It was unfixable. Before Stick Bitch could say anything the bell rang.

“Katsuki, show Atsushi, Kenji, and Kyouka to their next class,” He nodded and walked out of the room.

“I’m only going to say this once more. Get out of my classroom,” I told All Might.

When the bitch left I turned to Shinsou.

“I apologize for that. I have no clue how that brainless oaf got a job here. And he says I don’t know how to handle children,” Chuuya cut me off before I could finish that thought.

“Are you alright?” He asked Shinsou. Shinsou nodded and typed on his phone.

I’m used to this. It’s fine. I shook my head. “You might be used to abuse, but you shouldn’t be. I promise I will do everything I can to get you help," I told him. I could tell he didn’t believe me. But he will, eventually.

Right now was a free period for the two hero course teachers to make sure that they had enough time to plan for their students’ lessons. However, I used it as an excuse to run Shinsou’s physical exam.

Thankfully, Nedzu knew I was doing this and kept the training grounds open for me. His tests were a bit harder than the hero course’s, as these focused on endurance. This isn’t a sprint, this was a marathon. All things considered, he did well.

“Do you train on your own time?” I asked him. He nodded and reached for his phone.

I try to work out every day. I mostly train in the park. “Good, this will help you out a lot,” I told him.

We sat there and talked about random things for a bit when the bell rang.

“Time for lunch. Do you want to have it with 1A?” I asked him. He nodded and we walked back to the classroom. All things considered, I should have expected Class 1A would eat in the classroom. I don’t know why I didn’t. Shinsou didn’t seem surprised. Okay then.

“Chuuya, where are Katsuki and his friends?” I asked my husband.

“They’re getting lunch,” Chuuya informed me. I waited for ten minutes and then Katsuki and his friends came in. However, Kaminari was very quiet.

“Are you okay?” I asked.

“Some kids were picking on him,” I took a deep breath.

“What happened?” I asked.

“We were getting lunch, and some kids started picking on Kaminari. Bakubro nearly lost his shit. Eventually, they stopped and left us alone,” I nod.

“Can I get their names?” I asked.

“It’s fine. We’re used to this,” Kirishima said.

“What is it with you kids being used to bad treatment?” I mumbled.

“I can’t help you if you don’t work with me. I need the names if we are going to deal with them. I have a feeling they were never punished for this before,” I said, before they could protest anymore Katsuki spoke up.

“Ibara Shiozaki, Sen Kaibara, Yui Kodai, and Kosei Tsubaraba. Those were the four that started to pick on Kaminari,” He said, I noticed Chuuya wrote down the names.

“Good, what did they say?” I asked.

“They said, I didn’t deserve to be in the hero course and that I’m too stupid to do anything other than stand there during the USJ,” I nodded and Chuuya wrote that down as well.

“Well, I would say that you earned your place. You did fabulous in the physical exams today. I know you said you had some trouble with your grades at the dinner party. We can work on that. They have no right to decide whether or not you are worthy of being in UA. I will talk to their teacher and see if he will talk to them,” I told him.

“He won’t do anything, sir,” Monoma said.

“The number of times I heard Ms. Midnight complain about 1B’s behavior towards 1A is astonishing. He has never so much as told us to stop,” He explained.

“I see, I will talk to the teacher, and if he doesn’t do anything about it. I will take the situation to Principal Nedzu,” Kaminari looked at me.

“Where are Atsushi, Kyouka, and Kenji?” He asked. I looked around the room and couldn’t see them at all.

“Shit, I will look in the cafeteria. Lunch is almost over so they should be back shortly,” I told them before I left the room. I heard footsteps behind me and it was Monoma.

“You don’t have to follow me. You can enjoy your lunch,” He shook his head.

“All four of us are new to 1A. I, at least had the benefit of being transferred from another class. They don’t know how things work around here. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ran into some sort of trouble. The catboy seems like a trouble magnet,” I can’t argue with that. Atsushi does seem to attract trouble without meaning to. Much like Izuku. Those two being friends with each other will give me premature gray hair. I’m going to look like Hirotsu by the time they graduate. I can feel it.

When we got to the cafeteria I immediately scanned the room for my kids. I found them sitting at a table with a couple of other kids. Atsushi looked very uncomfortable, Kyouka had a slight frown on her face, and Kenji was smiling awkwardly. As I got closer to the table I started to hear what the other kids were saying.

“So, I bet it must be awful to be put in class 1A. I heard they got a new teacher. He isn’t going to last long. My teacher says 1A is cursed. You should be careful in that class. They got their teacher killed once, they could do it again,” Some bratty girl said.

“Atsushi, Kyouka, Kenji, the kids are eating lunch in the classroom. You should join them,” I said, providing them a way out of the conversation. They nodded and left the cafeteria.

“It surprises me that UA students don’t know when other people are uncomfortable. Perhaps some teachers are subpar at this school,” I said, then walked away with Monoma.

During my break, I got an email from Nedzu telling me that the next board meeting would be Monday morning. It also told me to come to his office to pick up some paperwork. I looked at Shinsou, who was working on homework for his other classes.

“Chuuya, Principal Nedzu just emailed me. We gotta go to his office. Shinsou, you can stay here and work, we shouldn’t be out too long,” He gave me a thumbs up and went back to his work.

Getting to Nedzu’s office, I noticed a thick stack of paper on his desk.

“This is the information you need to give your students for the dorms. They will be ready on Friday and you are expected to have everyone moved in over the weekend. I suggest you start moving after school on Friday, so that way you don’t have to work around the students. You should submit your stuff to security tomorrow morning,” He said handing over a stack of packets.

“These are your responsibilities as a Dorm Teacher and the rules for the dorms. You should use the rest of your break to make arrangements. Have people help you move. Can you hand some of those packets to 1B?” I nodded and we said our goodbyes and left.

“Do you want to talk to him or should I?” I asked Chuuya in the hallway.

“I think we both should. They are my students as well,” I thought about it and decided it would be for the best.

When we got to 1B, I noticed the teacher sitting at his desk. I knocked on the door to get his attention.

“Hello, you are 1A’s new teacher, correct?” We nodded as I handed him half of the stack of packets.

“These are the packets for the dorms. Nedzu says that we can move in Friday after school,” He flipped through the packets and thanked us.

“We came here to talk about an incident that happened at lunch,” I told him before he could walk away.

“What happened at lunch?” He asked with an exasperated look on his face.

“It would appear that several of your students have been bullying my students,” His face completely shut down.

“My students are in the hero course, they wouldn’t bully anyone. I think you should talk to your kids about lying. That kind of shit can greatly damage a hero’s career before it even starts,” Chuuya stepped in.

“We have the names of the bullies. If you refuse to do this I will take this to the Principal,” He threatened. Vlad King’s face turned vicious.

“Which student made this complaint?” He snarled.

“I won’t be giving you that information, I know what you will do with it. Now you can either talk to your students about this issue. Or your students can talk to the Principal,” Chuuya gave him the ultimatum.

“Or, we can give them detention. That wouldn’t look good for them. Getting a detention for bullying,” I told him. He sighed and sat the packets down.

“You need to leave my classroom. I will talk to my class,” I nodded and we both left.

At the end of the day, I called Mineta to stay back. Chuuya and the kids are waiting in the car so I had to make this quick.

“I heard from one of the students that you have been talking very inappropriately about the female students in the class,” I said, getting right to the point.

“So what? It’s locker room talk. It’s normal for a boy my age to be hormonal,” He is repeating what his parents say.

“It doesn’t matter. You need to learn to control them. Or you are going to start getting detentions. You can lose your spot in the hero course because of your behavior, fix it,” I tell him, before escorting him out of the classroom. I don’t have time for this little shitstain.

Today was a good day, all things considered. Things are going to change at UA, I’ll make sure of it.

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

I couldn’t believe it, the apartments were huge. It seems UA spared no expense when it came to the comfort of the kids and staff. The first thing I did when I entered the Heights Alliance Building was get my kids situated.

I got special permission for Katsuki to move in early as he had to spend the night at our parent’s house and I didn’t want him staying there any longer than he had to. So while he went to his dorm we went to our apartment, it was so spacious and private as they were on the top floor.

As I was helping Kyuu unpack I thought about tomorrow. I decided the kids experiencing the worst backlash at home would move in first thing tomorrow morning. Two kids were at the top of my list to get moved in, Kaminari Denki and Todoroki Shoto.

Everybody’s stuff was put through security, so it would be easy to move them here. I just worry about Todoroki, from the few days I have worked with him I could tell something is wrong. I wanted to get permission for Shinsou to move into the Heights Alliance dorms, but Principal Nedzu said he couldn’t, but he could stay overnight should the need arise.

Lastly, Denki Kaminari, whose mother emailed me last night giving me a long list of things to do to ‘help’ her son. It is obvious the kid has some type of learning disability, but his mother didn’t seem to care. Getting that kid out of that house as soon as possible would be in his best interest.

Then the rest of the students can come in, Chuuya and I would have to watch Mineta though. That menace has been a thorn in my side. He won’t stop making comments about Momo and her body. When Momo made the new hero costume design with the help of Chuuya and me, she was so proud she presented it to the class. While the rest of the class praised the new costume, Mineta made his opinion very clear.

“I don’t know how you are going to move up the charts in that thing, you should show off your best assets,” The little perv said while looking at her chest. Momo moved to cover her chest while Jirou started yelling at Mineta. That was the first detention Chuuya had given.

After that, I moved Momo in between Kyouka and Atsushi, who were close to the door. And made Ojiro sit in her old spot. She calmed down at that, it was obvious she was uncomfortable sitting next to Mineta.

Before I could get any farther into my thoughts, a knock on the door caught my attention. I told Kyuu to take a break while I went to open the door. It was Chuuya, he was helping Kenji with his stuff. Atsushi, Kyouka, Ryuu, Gin, and Katsuki said they could get unpacked by themselves.

“We have an issue,” He said, before taking my arm and dragging me to the kitchen. I noticed it was a bit bare when we walked by it but I haven’t had the time to look at it yet. Besides, Poe would be here any minute, and I wanted to be ready for his arrival.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, he opened the refrigerator and I saw the issue.

“We have no food or supplies. What we do have is a school-issued credit card so we can go out and get supplies for the kids. Did you know about this?” I shook my head.

“Do we have access to the bank information?” He nodded and handed me a small sheet of paper.

“Okay, so we get the essentials today. Then have the students write a list of snacks they want,” The card refills every week, but the amount is only enough for essential foods and supplies, nothing extra, if we wanted anything else we would have to use our own money. That isn’t a problem for us, as we are very rich, but I worry about Shinsou. He won’t have those luxuries, his bitch of a teacher won’t let him.

“Yeah, we’ll wait until Poe gets here, then go out shopping. He should be here soon,” I nodded and went to sit on one of the chairs.

“How is Shinsou doing? Is he still not talking?” Chuuya asked, every day during my break I take Shinsou and we train.

“No, we’ll get there one day,” I said, there is no point in rushing these things. That will only push Shinsou away.

Before we could finish our conversation the door opened and Poe walked in.

“Hello, how are you?” He asked.

“We’re good. Thank you so much for doing this. You have no clue how much it means to me,” I told him.

“It’s fine, Ranpo knows that I love kids. Besides it gets boring being trapped in the house after a while,” I understood that. I couldn’t do much while I was in hiding.

“Ranpo said you have a board meeting tonight,” He said, looking at me.

“Yeah, the problem is, the kitchen is barren so we have to go shopping soon. I found a nice recipe for cupcakes that I would like to try,” Poe made a face at that.

“Ranpo told me you shouldn’t be allowed in the kitchen,” I scoffed at that.

“He can’t cook but he can bake. I can’t bake, but I can cook,” When I could get out of my shipping container, I would go to Chuuya’s. As a thank you for letting me shower and dress at his house, I would make desserts for him.

“Kouyou has been itching for some of your cookies. Perhaps you can find a Pinterest recipe for that,” Chuuya told me, I thought about it for a bit and nodded. Cookies are easier to make than cupcakes.

“Fine, I’ll look on Pinterest before we leave for some ideas,” I said as threw myself back on the couch.

“So, does the school give you a budget for food? I can’t imagine they’d expect the teachers to pay for 20 teens' food. Especially, kids in the hero course,” Poe said, I nodded at him.

“We have a budget however it wouldn’t be enough to feed the kids. One of the students, Momo Yaoyorozu, has a quirk that turns the lipids in her body into inorganic material. She can use that to create things like cannons and stuff. The tradeoff is that she gets malnourished very easily,” I told him.

“So she should be eating more to compensate for her quirk. All the kids should be eating more since they are in a physically demanding class,” Poe finished for me.

“Yes, so a budget that covers the bare essentials just won’t cut it. It isn’t that much of a problem, Chuuya and I have enough money to pay for anything extra,” Chuuya nodded at me.

“Between the three of us, the students will be well taken care of,” Ryuunosuke came down.

“Kenji’s hungry,” He said as he went to the kitchen.

“There’s nothing in the kitchen,” I sighed.

“We have to go shopping, go get everyone and meet us back down here,” Ryuu nodded.

“Okay Papa,” My eyes widened in shock. Ryuu didn’t seem to notice so I didn’t make a big deal out of it.  In all the years I have known the Akutagawa siblings neither him nor Gin had called me Papa. Chuuya put a hand on my shoulder and squeezed, shaking me out of my thoughts.

“Poe, do you want to go with us?” I asked him. He shook his head.

“No, I have to unpack my stuff. I’ll go next time,” He said.

“The adult’s rooms are on the top floor, correct?” He asked us, then went on his way once he got his answer.

When all of the kids got down here we all packed into the car and went to the grocery store. That trip was more chaotic than I thought it would be.

I gave Ryuu, Gin, and Kyuu my card and told them to meet us by the checkout counter. While Chuuya, Kenji, and Katski went off to look at pots and pans, I took Kyouka and Atsushi to get ingredients for red velvet cookies and chocolate chip cookies.

Kyouka asked if we could make crepes for dessert and gave me puppy dog eyes, of course, I had to get ingredients for crepes, what monster wouldn’t? Atsushi gave me kitty cat eyes and asked for chazuke, I can’t say no to that.

So, I got a bunch of fruit and rice, it worked out because my class needs healthy food. We got some essentials, a lot of fish, a lot of seaweed, and a lot of noodles. I remembered Todoroki saying he liked soba, so I got him a few packages of soba noodles. I got a bunch of different teas, and I got some crab meat. We also got a lot of meat.

When I finished picking up the groceries we all went to find Chuuya, Kenji, and Katsuki. It didn’t take long to find them at all. With a cartful of different appliances, they seemed to be debating which rice cooker to get. Both were good quality rice cookers.

“I have an idea. Why don't you get both, we have 25 people to feed so we will need a lot of appliances,” I told them.

“What do you say, Katsuki? Should we get two rice cookers or three? You know your classmates the best,” Chuuya asked.

“I think we should get three. It’s pretty common for people like Momo and Kirishima to eat more than one serving of food.” Chuuya nodded and put three rice cookers in the cart, then turned to my cart.

“What is that stuff?” He asked with a scowl.

“Ingredients for tonight's dinner crepes for Kyouka, some spicy ingredients for Katsuki, and stock for the dorm. Ryuu, Gin, and Kyuu are still shopping for themselves,” Chuuya sighed and looked through our cart.

“Dumbass, you need more than that. That food will be gone in a day. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted you with this. C’mon, I will get everything. Kyouka will you please go get another cart, we’ll need it,” Chuuya said, I sighed and leaned my arm over him.

“The chibi slug is so mean. I did perfectly fine by myself.” Chuuya scoffed.

“You said it yourself, we are feeding 25 people with this food. I don’t want to make these trips every day,” I guess that made sense. He’s still mean.

“Fine, let’s finish this up. We are on a time crunch after all,” He nodded and led us around the store.

We finally finished unpacking the groceries and stocking the cabinets. We decided to get a bunch of blankets for the students to keep in the living room. By the time we were done, I had to start making the cookies or they won’t get done in time.

After a quick dinner, Atsushi won with Chazuke, I was out the door and to my first board meeting. Chuuya had the choice to go but decided to stay with the kids. So I had to go by myself. Yay.

When I got to the meeting room, I noticed that not too many people were there yet, but Kouyou was there so it would be worth it.

“Dazai, how are you?” Kouyou asked. The Principal looked between the two of us and nodded.

“Well played Mr. Dazai. You might just win this,” He said.

“Mr. Principal, you will learn quickly that Dazai doesn’t play games he doesn’t win,” Kouyou told him.

“Yes, I’m starting to figure that out. Perhaps you will want to work with me on some projects,” Isn’t that a scary thought?

“I am a bit busy, we still have to prepare for the kid's arrival tomorrow,” I told him, he looked at me for a second then nodded.

“I hope you didn’t have much trouble with the budget. I thought it would be easier for the teachers to decide what goes in the dorms,” He said with a not-so-apologetic look in his eyes.

“Yes, we got everything just fine. We even got ingredients for cookies,” I said with a smile.

“So, Chuuya passed on my message. What cookies did you bring?” I handed her the Tupperware box in my hand.

“Red Velvet cookies and Chocolate Chip,” She hummed and got a couple of red velvet cookies.

Someone cleared their throat interrupting us.

“So sorry to interrupt. However, we are here for a meeting. I have things to do, my students are coming in tomorrow,” It was Shinsou’s teacher. That bitch is standing right in front. Before I could say anything Kouyou stepped in.

“It’s nice to meet you. My name is Kouyou Ozaki. I’m a representative of the Mori Corporation,” She introduced herself to the bitch.

“It’s nice to meet you, I am Mrs. Keiko,” She said dismissively.

“Sir, almost everyone is here, can we start the meeting?” She asked turning to the principal.

“Not until everyone has arrived, sit down and have some cookies,” That bitch doesn’t deserve cookies, she deserves a bullet to the head.

“I don’t eat sweets,” She said, good, give me my kid you bitch.

Finally, the rest of the teachers arrived and right before the meeting started the door opened, Yosano and Ranpo walked in.

“Excuse me, this is a private meeting. You can’t be here,” All Bitch had to say. He did good at keeping away from me. That doesn’t mean I am not going to do everything in my power to get him out of this damn school.

“We are representatives of the Armed Detective Agency in Yokohama, you should find our names on the list of eligible board members. So yes, we can be here,” Ranpo said, taking a seat next to me, Yosano took the other side and grabbed my hand under the table.

“Since everyone is here we can start,” Principal Nedzu said.

“Does anyone have any concerns?” He asked. Stick Bitch raised his hand, I rolled my eyes.

“I am concerned that class 1A isn’t making enough progress in their rescue training. Their new teacher, Mr. Dazai has been more focused on making them new hero costumes than making sure they are good at their future jobs, we don’t want another Mr. Aizawa incident,” I glared at him.

“First off, what happened to Shota Aizawa was not their fault. It was the Nomu that killed him. Second, this week was a way for me to gauge their progress and make needed changes to their classwork. Third, the students wanted those changes to their hero costumes made. I can confidently say that those kids are more than proficient at rescue training. What they need is more teamwork exercises,” I shut that shit down. At least, I thought I did until another teacher spoke up. It was Present Mic.

“How could you say it wasn’t their fault? That class is strong, they could’ve done something to help him. Instead, they let him die, and you are sitting here defending them,” Most of the teachers murmured their agreement.

“What could they have done differently? Die in his place?” I spat out.

“Now that’s not fair, you know what he meant,” All Might shouted.

“It is clear what he meant, now let me be clear. What happened was an unfortunate accident that couldn’t be changed. Like I said, Eraserhead knew the risks of being a pro-hero and he still chose the job. He died protecting those students, I’ll be damned if I let you harm them,” All Might stood up.

“You are going too far, those kids are heroes, they should have stopped the Nomu,” I scoffed at him.

“They are kids. Kids in their first year of heroics class. Kids who didn’t have training before the attack happened. They should have been evacuated from the USJ as soon as possible, and let the adults handle it. They shouldn’t have been attacked at all,” I said, standing as well. Before it could go any further, Principal Nedzu stepped in.

“That is enough, from what I heard Mr. Dazai is doing just fine with Class 1A. They may proceed with team exercises, moving on,” Most of the meeting was spent discussing budgets for the dorms and discussing how to get new sponsors for UA. Being a hero has a lot of marketing around it so the more sponsors UA has, the more likely the students will be seen for their hard work and recruited into agencies and intern positions.

I knew Ranpo and Yosano were up to something but I couldn’t figure it out. Not until Ranpo raised his hands.

“Why not utilize social media? The support course can show off its items more easily than waiting for another sports festival. Since the hero courses are popular with the civilians they can garner some good attention. It would also open up a line of communication between the students and the populace that the teachers can control,” So that was his plan.

If we can garner enough public support the teachers will be forced to back off or they will face public backlash. It’s a good long-term plan but one that could easily backfire should class 1A lose public favor.

“Yes, that would help. It would help with funding for field trips and give the students much-needed exposure. Especially in the 3rd year, my students are going to go into hero work right after graduation. They need all the exposure they can get,” Midnight said. She sat closer to Kouyou, those two seemed to get along well enough.

“What about business and general education? They don’t have much of a reason to do this?” Another teacher asked. I think she is a business teacher.

“Business classes get recruited into hero agencies as well. It would help with practicing their marketing skills. Same with general education. They get recruited, just not at such a scale as the hero or support course, students. It would be beneficial for the students and the school. I say that each class starts an account on HeroTube and HeroGram, and UA will start an account on HeroTube and HeroGram spotlighting each class and their achievements, and each student will have to start a HeroGram account,”  Principal Nedzu said, and that was that.

My students would have to start social media accounts. This was going to be tough, I don’t know the first thing about social media. Hopefully, Chuuya will be able to figure it out, maybe I should ask Midnight for help. She seems to know what to do. For now, I need to sleep.

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

Yosano and Ranpo decided to stay the night. I was unsurprised that the Principal permitted them to stay, I have a feeling Ranpo and him are working together. I don’t think about things like that, I prefer not to have nightmares. It was fun but now they either had to help kids move into the dorms, or leave.

I know that Todoroki will be here soon, he would be the first of the kids to show up. “Are you going to help with getting the students settled?” Poe asked Ranpo. “Yup, we can’t let you guys do all the work,” He said while sucking on a lollipop. All the kids decided to help the students, which I think is nice.

I wasn’t surprised that Todoroki showed up the first thing in the morning. I could tell he was shocked by the amount of people there.

“Todoroki, meet my friends Ranpo and Yosano. They agreed to help us move students in. And this is Edgar Allen Poe, he will be the dorm guardian,” Todoroki nodded and set his suitcase down.

“Do you have anything else?” Todoroki nodded and turned to leave.

“He’s a master conversationalist,” Ranpo joked.

“I think Gin and him would get along well,” I thought about it and realized he was right. They would make good friends.

Todoroki returned with a couple more suitcases and looked directly at me.

“Can you help me? I have a few more suitcases, my father is getting impatient,” I nodded and went with Todoroki. He took me to a nice-looking car with a lot of stuff in the back. It looks like he took all his belongings, poor kid.

I didn’t even bother acknowledging his father as I pulled some things from the trunk. When we got back I got Chuuya and Kenji to lift the heavier items and we finished unloading the car in ten minutes.

“The first floor is the kitchen and living area. The second floor is for the boys’ dorms, the third is for the girls' dorms, and the fourth is for the teachers and dorm guardians. You can pick any room you want, I’m going to make some snacks for everyone, do you have anything in mind that you want?” He looked at me like I had grown a second head.

“You’re giving me a choice?” I nodded keeping my thoughts to myself.

“Yeah, we have some leftover chocolate chip cookies, and we are going to make lunch in a few hours,” Todoroki shook his head.

“I’ve never had cookies before, I was told they didn’t taste good. Besides, wouldn’t lunch and a snack be too much?” This kid will be the death of me. Or I will be the death of his father, whichever comes first.

“First, I make amazing cookies, second it won’t be too much. You’re going to work it off unpacking your room. Besides, even if you weren’t going to work it off, it still wouldn’t be too much, as it won’t have much of an effect on you,” I told him. He thought about it before nodding, and I led him back to the kitchen.

“Chuuya, it’s cookie time,” I say as I grab a jar.

“So we have two types of cookies right now, red velvet with white chocolate chips, and chocolate chip cookies. I think it will be best to try them both. I’m going to throw a second batch in the oven if you would like to help me,” He nodded and went to stand by me, I also managed to pull Gin into the kitchen. I watched his face light up when he tried the chocolate chip cookie. However, he scrunched his nose at the red velvet.

“What do you think?” I asked him.

“I like the chocolate chip cookie better, the red velvet is too sweet,” I nodded and turned to hand him a pan and a sectioned-off bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough.

“Here, you can make this pan while Gin and I make our own,” When he stared at the bowl I realized he didn’t quite know what to do.

“Watch me,” I said, putting a spoon into his bowl. I scooped some of mine into my hand and rolled it into a ball.

“It should be this big, although it’s fine if it’s not,” I put the cookie ball onto the pan and went to scoop again. The three of us worked in silence and within five minutes we had three more pans of cookies. It would take a bit to make enough for the class and my family but it should be fine. We still had a long time before the day ended.

When the cookies were done I gave him a fresh one to try.

“These are good,” He said with childish wonder. It reminded me of the time Odasaku took me to get ice cream. I hope he would be proud of me.

“So, do you have any snacks you want to pick up at the grocery store?” I asked him in hopes of distracting myself.

“I don’t know. What does a grocery store have?” I’ll kill his father, I swear to Chuuya.

“How about this? You go set up your room and then we can go to the grocery store tonight,” When he went upstairs Ranpo looked at me.

“What happened? You looked out of it,” He said, I watched as Poe ushered the kids to the living room.

“I was reminded of an interaction between Odasaku and me. He was the first person to take me to the grocery store, and he was the first person to let me try ice cream for the first time,” Chuuya hugged me from behind.

“Do you want to go to the apartment? Poe and I can make sure the students get settled in,” I shook my head.

“I’m fine, I guess it just unlocked a memory. I see a lot of myself in him,” Chuuya breathed.

“Do we need to keep an eye on him?” He asked.

“Most definitely, I already had him on my radar for abuse. I would be surprised if he weren’t suicidal,” I heard him sigh and he let go of my waist.

“Fine, we’ll keep an eye on him. When is Kaminari going to get here?” He asked, I looked at my phone screen.

“It’s 9:30 now, he should be here soon,” I told him.

Before we could finish our conversation I heard a power drill go off. What the Hell? To make sure I wasn’t going crazy I looked at Chuuya and he noticed it too. We moved closer to the sound as did Poe and my family. Even Katsuki came out of his room to see what that sound was.

We followed the sound to Todoroki’s room. Chuuya knocked on the door and the sound stopped, and Todoroki opened the door.

“Yes?” He asked with a look of confusion on his face.

“What are you doing?” Chuuya asked.

“Setting up my room,” He stated, before moving to show the room. Ranpo, Yosano, and I burst into laughter as we saw the newly renovated, traditional Japanese room.

“What’s so funny?” He asked with an even more confused look.

“Nothing, Osamu and his friends are idiots,” None of us could stop laughing long enough to be offended.

“I’m sorry, Todoroki. Do you need any help?” I asked him as soon as I calmed down.

“If it isn’t too much trouble,” He said.

“I’ll help you, what do you need me to do?” Yosano said as she entered his room.

“Let’s go Chuuya, Kaminari is going to be here soon,” I told my husband as I dragged him away from Todoroki’s room. I started chuckling again when I heard the power drill start up again.

“Grow up,” The slug said as he walked in front of me.

“Get taller,” I snapped right back. A knock on the door interrupted us. Kaminari was here.

I thought it was weird that he knocked on the door, but I quickly found out why. His mother was with him.

“Hello, are you the teacher?” She asked me.

“I am, is there an issue?” She nodded and pulled out a sheet of paper.

“I have a few things I need to go over with you, just so I know you will take care of Denki,” She told me. Chuuya gives me strength.

“Well, let me go get the Poe and Chuuya, they need to be here, as well,” I looked at Kaminari and could tell that he was uncomfortable.

“Do you want to go get your stuff? I can get someone to help you out,” Before he could answer, his mother answered for him.

“He can get his stuff later. We have important things to talk about,” That’s weird. I called Poe and we sat on the couch.

“I have some concerns about Denki’s grades, he told me that you implemented a new grading system and I wanted to get some information,” I nodded and told her.

“I decided that physical tests are more important. Anyone can put the right information on a sheet of paper, however, putting that information into practice is much more important,” She looked at me with a scowl.

“That might be true, but that is not what I am concerned about. Denki isn’t smart, I know he needs time to study and I fear that this system will make him believe that he doesn’t have to study at all,” I could see Kaminari was shaking.

“People aren’t stupid, they just aren’t good at certain stuff. School isn’t for everyone and just because he isn’t good at math doesn’t mean he isn’t smart. Kaminari, what subject do you find easiest?” I asked him.

“I like computer science and history. I also like English, Hemingway is my favorite writer,” Poe smiled at that.

“What are your grades like in these classes?” I asked him, and he looked down.

“I have pretty bad grades, the teachers are tough with their grading and they go through the lessons very fast, it’s hard to keep up. I have problems paying attention, so sometimes I just don’t turn in assignments,” I turned to his mother.

“I can help him with his English homework,” Poe said, “I was raised in America, I can help him,” I nodded.

“The problem is, he doesn’t care about his grades. He wants to go off with his friends and doesn’t care about anything else. He is a hero student, it’s shit like this that got Aizawa killed,” Kaminari started shaking again.

“Kaminari, go get your stuff,” He practically ran out of the room.

“I will do what I can to help, I believe you should have him tested for ADHD. Or it could be a consequence of his quirk. He could be like my brother Katsuki, where he needs to let it off every once in a while so it doesn’t hurt him. I wanted to talk to you about that,” She glared at me.

“My kid doesn’t have ADHD. He just doesn’t care about anything but his friends. You will see a vast improvement if he puts some effort into his grades. Here’s a list of dietary restrictions and rules to follow. I have to go, I have an agency to run,” She said before leaving, I could hear yelling and went out to check on Kaminari. He was unloading the back of the car but it seems he wasn’t doing it fast enough for her.

Chuuya used his gravity to lift Kaminari’s luggage and move it into the building. This is going to be a long day.

After getting Kaminari settled in, we returned to the living area and waited for the next students. We only had four more students to go as we decided to move in ten students on Saturday and ten students on Sunday. I made sure Kaminari got some cookies and got some downtime. Todoroki came downstairs when he was finished and sat with Kaminari.

“So, who else is showing up today?” Kaminari asked.

“Sero, Shoji, Monoma, and Ojiro. They are the last ones that are moving in today,” Chuuya told him.

“What are the rules for the dorms?” Todoroki asked.

“We’ll go over the dorm rules when the rest get here, so we don’t have to go over it too many times, “ I said.

“Now then, who wants some tea? We have some time before they get here,” I told them, before getting up and moving to the kitchen.

After Sero, Shoji, Monoma, and Ojiro arrived and set up their rooms I noticed it was getting close to dinner time. I called everybody down to the kitchen, where Chuuya, Katsuki, and Gin were working on dinner.

“So, earlier today Kaminari and Todoroki were wondering about the dorm rules. As most of the rules have been left up to the teachers, we only have a few that are school-made. Tomorrow or Monday we will sit down with the class and make more rules. However, the school wants everyone in the dorms by nine o’clock. The boy’s and girl’s dorms are separated for a reason. I expect that Mineta will be the only one to cause a problem,” Everyone nodded, we all will have to keep an eye on that little cretin.

“There is one more thing. You will have one mandatory therapy session. Whether or not you choose to continue sessions will be up to you,” They looked at each other.

“Alright, but how are we going to pay for it? Would the school cover it?” Sero asked.

“The school will cover the consultation, then half of every session afterward,” Chuuya said.

“We will be covering the other half. None of the therapy will come out of your pockets,” Poe finished.

“Do you have a therapist's office for us to go to?” Todoroki asked.

“Yes, in my line of work, we see many horrible things. So, close to our agency is a therapist’s office. It’s in Yokohama so we can only do a couple of kids a day, but Principal Nedzu and my boss Fukuzawa are working a schedule with her. It will work out. Now then, we have one more thing to discuss but that can wait until after dinner,” Not too long later dinner was announced. I managed to convince the students to eat with us. It was the first dinner I had with the students and I will make sure it isn’t the last.

Dinner was loud with conversations, and everyone seemed to love the spread that was made. Chuuya was kind enough to make cold soba for Todoroki and crab tempura for me. All in all, it was nice.

“So, what I needed to tell you. I held off on telling this to my family so I could tell everyone together. Yesterday, at the board meeting we got into a discussion about UA’s reputation. Ranpo came up with the suggestion that we make use of social media." I said while throwing a glare at Ranpo. He just smiled at me.

"The board loved the idea and made all the classes make a school page. Each class will make a HeroGram account and a HeroTube account, and each student will make a HeroGram account. In an email I received a couple of hours ago, we were given the guidelines for content. Most of the class funding will come from the money your channel will make. Any questions?” I asked. Todoroki raised his hand.

“Will we have to make separate HeroTube channels, as well?” I shook my head. Monoma asked the next question.

“What are we allowed to post?” I looked at Chuuya and he shrugged.

“Well, they gave us some suggestions for content. Some specific to the hero course. Let me see,” I said as I went to get my computer and pull up the email.

“The first HeroTube video will be a class introduction. Every student should introduce themselves, their quirks, and something they like. There will also be a required class picture on HeroGram, in the description should be everyone’s HeroGram handles. So by the time we make the video, you should make your HeroGram accounts. They give suggestions for the Hero Course such as class exercises, workout routines, and food content. I guess they want us to focus on the healthier foods,” I told everyone.

“What about you? Will you guys be in the videos and pictures?” Sero asked.

“As the teachers I am sure Chuuya and I would be in some of the photos and videos. As for Poe, Ryuu, Kyuu, and Gin, I will leave that up to them,” I told them.

“What about kitchen rules? Do you have any rules for the kitchen?” Atsushi asked.

“If you need a snack get a snack. If you need something to drink, get something to drink. I’m not going to keep you out of the kitchen. We will be having buffet-style breakfasts and dinners like we did today. However, if you need to you can grab something and take it to class with you,” I announced.

After that I helped Kaminari with some math work, which turned into a study session with almost everyone, besides Katsuki and Todoroki, they were caught up in all their classes. Poe made sure to help with English, while Chuuya and I handled the other classes. By the time we finished, it was 10 o’clock and everyone was tired, so we called it a night.

After an eventful night, we had a nice breakfast and waited for the rest of the students to arrive. The first to show up was an energetic Mina. I will have to keep the coffee away from that girl, it is too early for her to be that energetic.

She didn’t have a lot of stuff so getting her settled in was easy. She buzzed around the common room and the kitchen, talking to anyone who would listen to her. It was entertaining to watch her talk to Poe, though. She seemed to be fascinated about him and when she found out he was an author she wouldn’t leave him alone.

Poe was getting flustered over all the attention, I could tell that everyone was getting some enjoyment out of it but it was brought to an end by the next student to arrive, Momo Yaoyorozu.

“Hello, I hope I’m not too late,” Momo said, cheerfully.

“Nope, do you need help moving your things?” Chuuya asked.

“Oh yes, that would be great,” With that we went to her and found an exceptionally large bed.

“That’s a big bed. Is it going to fit in the dorm room?” I said as we all looked at it.

A man stepped out of the car and introduced himself.

“Hello, I’m Momo’s father. Do you mind if I help with the bed?” I shook my head and we tried to get it into the room. After some maneuvering, with most of the students watching, we managed to lay the bed down flat. The bed was too big to get around the room properly.

“Well dear, this dorm is the size of your closet. We might have to downgrade the bed. I’ll go to the mattress store and find you a different bed,” Her father said, while most students were in shock.

“Yeah, I feel that it is for the best,” She said as she moved to put her clothes away. She had to take half her wardrobe home, as she had too many clothes. After an hour she was done with her room, just in time for her father to bring her new bed.

Her father pulled me aside to talk to me after getting her bed set up.

“I wanted to thank you for helping my daughter with her hero costume. I remember when she came home crying because people made unsavory comments. I hope you are planning on taking care of that one kid, she told me how he treats the girls in the class. I will no longer tolerate my daughter’s discomfort, especially when she is not living with me,” This man truly loves his daughter.

“We have been keeping an eye on his behavior. Unfortunately, his parents are on the school board, so we will have to go at this with undeniable proof that he is sexually harassing students. We have set up surveillance cameras in the dorms. If he does anything, we will catch it,” I told him.

“Fantastic, I hope he will no longer be our problem soon. I will see you on Parent’s Day. Have a nice day,” He said, before leaving.

“We have a problem student?” Poe asked.

“Yes, his name is Mineta, you will figure out very quickly who he is. He doesn’t have respect for anyone, not his peers, his upperclassmen, or his teachers. Atsushi told me about a comment that he made in the locker rooms about the girls. I suggest you keep an eye on him and tell me if you see something. Because of this, I am glad that Yosano and Ranpo have left, I do not doubt that he would’ve commented in front of Yosano. We all know she wouldn’t tolerate that shit,” Poe nodded at that, she is scary when pissed off.

“I’ll keep an eye on him and tell you if I see anything,” I thanked him and went to welcome the next student to arrive.

Speak of the devil and he shall arrive. The sexual deviant is here with his stupid parents.

“Mr. Dazai, we have a few things we would like to talk to you about. Since we weren’t able to talk to you after the board meeting, we decided to talk to you now,” His bitchy mother said. I could see the smirk on the little deviant’s face.

“I have something I would like to talk to you about, as well,” I said, as I led them to a couch. Some students were lounging around and working on coursework, unfortunately, the calm atmosphere was ruined by the Mineta’s.

“Do you think you could give us some privacy? The adults have something we need to discuss,” Mrs. Mineta said in a condescending voice. Most of the students looked at her and then at me.

“This is their lounge area, it wouldn’t be fair to kick them out,” I said, in defense of the students.

“Then where do you suggest we talk? It wouldn’t be right to talk in front of the kids,” I glared at them.

“We can talk in the kitchen, why don’t you start working on your room? Ryuu, Atsushi, and Katsuki, will you please help him?” Translation: keep an eye on him. Ryuu and Katsuki got the message and nodded, Atsushi seemed confused but went along with it anyway.

“Momo, can you go get Chuuya?” Mr. Mineta looked up at that name.

“Momo Yaoyorozu?” He asked, I got a bad feeling but nodded.

“We needed to talk to her, as well. We can talk to her later,” I glared at them as most of the students stiffened. I could see that Momo was uncomfortable with the idea of talking to them.

“I hope you don’t think you will be talking to her alone,” I said as Momo looked like she wanted to say something.

“Where is Mr. Chuuya?” She asked quietly.

“He is in the teacher’s apartment. Just knock on the door, and he will let you in,” She nodded and left.

“Now then, what is it you would like to talk about?” I asked even though I didn’t care.

“Ever since our son started UA, he has been the target of bullying. He has had many females go after him claiming he has touched them in inappropriate manners. He has gotten many detentions over it, he is a hormonal teenage boy, and they are using it against him,” Mr. Mineta said.

“I can assure you that all the detentions Chuuya and I have given him are just. On several occasions, he has failed to control his tongue and made many comments about the female students in our class. This is a high school, a place where hormones are always running wild. However, most students can control them and are not constantly making sexual advances on students and teachers. I can assure you these are not baseless accusations that students are making,” I’m not going to sugarcoat this situation.

“So what? He made a few comments here and there. The students are asking for it, wearing short skirts and distasteful hero costumes. If they didn’t want the attention then they shouldn’t wear those things. How are teenage boys supposed to react when they see girls dressing like tramps,” As she went on, Mrs. Mineta’s voice started to rise. Soon she was yelling.

“So, you admit that your son has been making inappropriate comments about students. Yet somehow this is just a case of false accusations,” Mr. Mineta started to get angry.

“My boy did nothing wrong. If they don’t want attention then don’t dress for attention,” Before this could go any further someone cleared their throat. It was Chuuya, and Momo was hiding behind him. I could see Todoroki, Shoji, Ryuu, and Gin hovering in the background in case things got violent. “You should lower your voices. The students can hear you,” he said before turning to me.

“I pulled Ryuu from helping the grape head. Gin went with him. Gin and Yaoyorozu get along well,” Mrs. Mineta scoffed.

“That is the other thing we wanted to talk about. The biggest perpetrator of the FALSE allegations is Momo Yaoyorozu. She is constantly complaining about my child. At this point, she’s asking for it. She should be lucky that my son is answering her call for attention. She is far too fat for a girl." The audacity of this woman. The list of people I have to deal with seems to be getting longer and longer.

"You need to curb her behavior. If she doesn’t stop I will push for her expulsion from UA, and have her blacklisted from other hero schools. Might I remind you I am a very important member of the school board?” Momo started crying, and I could see the other kids trying to comfort her. But she couldn’t stop, Chuuya looked back at her before signaling for Gin to help.

They managed to move her to the couch, and I saw Kenji hand her his plant. Denki, Sero, and Mina were trying to make her laugh. The others were shooting her worried looks but let them handle it. Poe came in with tissues and a comforting presence. When Chuuya was certain she would be okay, he unloaded on them.

“You will not blame this on her. Your child cannot control himself. He doesn’t do well in school at all. In several exercises, he has prioritized himself over civilians even when the villain bots weren’t focused on him. He doesn’t have a heroic bone in his body. If your kid doesn’t stop I will take this to court, I don’t care how hormonal he is. He needs to control himself or he will be in for a rough time when he grows up and realizes that not everybody will tolerate his shitty behavior, I know of multiple women who would put him into the ground before he even managed to lay a finger on them,” He paused to reign in his anger.

“I’ve heard the stories and I’ve heard them right from his mouth. The time when he snapped Momo’s bra in the middle of class and the substitute did nothing. Or what about the time when he grabbed Mina’s breast during a training exercise? The time when he purposefully poured water on the girls so he could see their bras through their shirts. That’s called sexual harassment. Prior teachers might have tolerated this but we won’t, I will have your kid out of here. Then the students might be able to rest easier,” He finished. The two dared to look offended and went to leave.

I walked them out to make sure they didn’t cause any more problems. Unfortunately, Mr. Mineta didn’t get the message. When we passed the students he didn’t even bother to lower his voice.

“Stupid whore,” He said before walking out. That just made Momo more upset.

“Leave now,” Poe said, and with that, the Mineta’s finally left. I turned my attention to Momo. She seemed uncomfortable with all the attention and finally, she had enough and ran up to her room.

“They can’t get her expelled, can they?” Kaminari asked.

“Not easily, they would have to prove she was harassing Mineta. I will bring up what happened today at the next school board meeting. I won’t let them get away with this, I promise,” It hurts that I can’t do anything against them right now.

Momo didn’t come out of her room the entire. She wouldn’t come to greet the arriving students. Even her friends couldn’t get her to come out of her room. The arriving students heard what happened, and tried their best to get her to come out but she wouldn’t budge. It was approaching dinnertime and we were getting the food ready, every student was waiting in the common room except Momo. Jirou got up to go get her but I had her sit down.

“I’ll go, if I get her to come down, act like nothing happened. The last thing she needs is attention,” Mineta scoffed, but when the class turned their fury onto him he made the wise decision to stay quiet.

I quietly knocked on her door but got no response.

“Yaoyorozu, it’s Dazai. Can you open the door,” I heard footsteps and the door opened.

“I’m sorry about today. I should’ve kicked them out earlier,” She shook her head.

“It’s not your fault. Besides, all they said was the truth,” I went to deny it.

“Trust me when I tell you that they couldn’t have been more wrong. They aren’t going to do a thing, I promise you won’t be expelled. I won’t allow it. Come on, dinner is ready,” I told her but she didn’t move.

“You’re not fat, nor are you a whore. They shouldn’t have said anything, especially since they aren’t true. You should take my word as fact on this one,” She nodded and slowly got up.

“What are we having for dinner?” She asked quietly.

“Buffet-style, a little bit of everything. It will be like this every night, and don’t be shy about the food. There is more than enough for everyone,” She nodded and we went to eat.

Dinner was good, the students made sure to keep as much distance between Momo and Mineta as possible. I made sure to tell them about the rules and the social media, some of the students were more excited than others. Mina and Aoyama made their accounts right away but others held off, thinking about what would be the best. I told them that as long as it wasn’t inappropriate, it should be fine.

Like last night I helped the students with their homework and sent them off to bed. I stayed up for a bit doing some work and making some lesson plans, when Momo came down.

“Yaoyorozu, it’s late. What are you doing up?” I asked her.

“I just wanted to get a drink. I was thinking about my HeroGram page, I assume it is a move from the school to try and gain good publicity,” She’s smart, she’ll have a bright future ahead of her.

“Yes, they’re trying to do damage control,” I looked at her and could tell she wanted to say something.

“This could be an opportunity for us. We could use it to keep the other classes away from us if we play our cards correctly,” And she has a devious streak, good.

“I think your family should be in some of our posts, and you should make your accounts. It will make us seem like a more tight-knit class,” I thought about it for a bit and realized she was right.

“You’re smart, you’ll go places. I’ll talk to Chuuya about it. For now, I think I need to go to bed. We can plot later,” She nodded and went to get her drink. When she came out she turned to me.

“Have a good night,” She said before leaving.

And a good night it was.

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

Making sure everyone was up and ready was a special kind of Hell. Not only am I responsible for my kids, but I’m also responsible for the students. I ensured everyone had something to eat, and I told Ryuu, Kyuu, and Gin that they could do whatever they wanted as long as they didn’t leave campus. Since Kyuu’s tutor won’t be here for a couple of days. I managed to pack some extra breakfast for Shinsou since he doesn’t eat nearly enough. Right now, his biggest issue is his weight, I plan on changing that. For now, I can only make sure he eats and works out properly.

When I got to the school, I first looked for Shinsou. I was worried about him as I hadn’t seen him all weekend. Eventually, I found him at the training grounds, sleeping. I walked over to him and sat down. The kid needed sleep so I let him rest for half an hour. That would give him enough time to eat before class. When he woke, he pulled out his phone and thanked me for the breakfast.

Thanks, I didn’t get to eat this morning. I gave him a look.

"Was that your choice,” He got quiet and looked at the ground. That’s enough to get the whole picture but I would like some confirmation.

When I went to eat, the class finished breakfast and the kitchen was locked. Well, shit.

“You can eat with us if you need to. We make more than enough food,” I said, he smiled and nodded, he’s a cute kid.

“Good, we have breakfast at seven and dinner at six. If you want, I’m having my students make me a list of snacks they would like and I can pick up some stuff for you. Since you are my student,” He thought about it, then started typing.

Do you have the money for that? How considerate of him.

“I have more than enough money. Just give me a list of food you would like and I will make sure you get it,” He looked at me astonished. I checked the time and realized the class was about to start.

Why don’t you take some time to come up with a list and come by my room at lunch?” I told him before heading to my class.

When lunch came around, Shinsou came by. He didn’t have lunch with him, but he did have the list. On it was one word, coffee. Chuuya looked at it over my shoulder, then looked at the kid.

“That’s it? Do you not have a favorite food?” He asked Shinsou. Shinsou shook his head and typed on the phone.

I like coffee. Chuuya groaned.

“Fine, do you at least eat all of your meals?” When Shinsou shook his head, I questioned further.

“What meals do you eat?” Shinsou typed on his phone once more.

I eat when I can sneak food. That got my blood boiling, it reminded me of the days when I had to sneak food from Mori.

“Is that why you don’t have your lunch? You couldn’t sneak past your class,” Shinsou nodded once more. I stood up and told Shinsou to follow me.

“Chuuya, did you record this?” When Chuuya nodded, I continued.

“Shinsou will be eating with our class for breakfast and dinner, from now on,” I told him, Chuuya nodded. I turned to Shinsou.

“How about we go get you lunch?” Shinsou nodded and followed me to the cafeteria.

When we got to the cafeteria all of class 1-C fell silent upon seeing Shinsou. Shinsou curled into himself when he noticed this, so I put a hand on his shoulder and led him to Lunch Rush. When we got there, he asked for Yakisoba and we left. We heard someone call out Shinsou’s name. He turned to look and saw it was a student from 1-C. He had an easily discernible fake smile.

“Dude, you came back for seconds, if you don’t start being careful you’re going to gain weight,” It may seem like a friendly joke, but both Shinsou and I could tell he was making fun of him.

“Well, my student Shinsou is doing just fine and I approved this diet in the first place,” I told him before moving Shinsou away. “Why don’t you return to your friends and let me handle my student?” I said before leading Shinsou back to 1A.

When we returned to the classroom Shinsou sat quietly in the corner while he ate, meanwhile, I went to Chuuya and told him to put Yakisoba on Shinsou’s list. We made lesson plans for the rest of lunch based on the kids’ progress.

Of course, the class couldn’t go smoothly with All Bitch in my damn room. I can’t even get rid of that idiot. We were going over how to handle victims of a villain attack and that fool is going to get people killed.

“I would arrest the villain and ensure he is in jail before returning to the agency to complete the paperwork. Remember kids, the cops are around for a reason. They can handle the victims,” Chuuya and I listened to all of this in shock, how could he tell this to kids? Sure, Chuuya and I aren’t the best people but we know what to do in rescue situations.

“Okay, don’t do that. There is nothing wrong with handing a victim's care over to the police, but you should never leave them unsupervised. You must wait for the police to get there that is why heroes carry around quirk-suppressant handcuffs. Most agencies have victim support programs, whether that is helping them with finding a therapist or helping them get situated financially,” the grape-stain that is Mineta raised his hand.

“Why would heroes help victims financially? Shouldn’t they go to the government for something like that? Heroes aren’t to blame for their poor financial decisions,” I rolled my eyes and explained.

“If you get into a brawl with a villain in the middle of town and multiple buildings are damaged, who will pay for that? You’re right that it would be unfair to expect the hero of the situation to pay out of pocket, but most heroes work with therapists and relief funds for a reason. Pro-Hero Endeavor has a very destructive quirk and causes collateral damage. Is it not unreasonable to expect him to help with civilian recovery?” Momo raised her hand.

“What would be an appropriate amount of help for a civilian?” I thought about it and turned to Chuuya.

“I normally go off of my agency standards. We help them get a therapist, sometimes housing and financial services. We check up with them a few times and then let them live their life. That is normal procedure, sometimes we go farther for people, especially children,” Momo nodded and put her hand down. All Might then spoke up.

“When you have big agencies you can do that sort of thing. However, what is more important is that we make the streets safer for civilians and the only permanent way to do that is to get villains off the street,” I sighed and opened the door.

“You can leave, I won’t stop you,” I told him. “This was my class before it was yours. I see no reason why I shouldn’t put a stop to the fantasies you are putting into these young heroes' minds,” I turned to Chuuya.

“Chuuya, please hand out the paperwork while I talk to All Might outside,” I said before dragging Stick Man outside. “What do you think you’re doing?” I asked him in a slightly angry voice.

“I am merely trying to teach these heroes about the reality of the situation. What you just taught them was wishful thinking,” I scoffed at him.

“What I just taught them was standard practice. Even Endeavor’s agency has resources for victims. As far as I know, you were the only top ten heroes that didn’t have victim resources on your agency’s website. That should tell you something. Smaller agencies do more for victims than you ever have, sometimes they clean up your messes. You and Endeavor were massive causes of collateral damage in almost every fight you get into, the least you can do is help the civilians. Stop undermining my lessons because you can’t be bothered to do your damn job. I will be damned if my students become as shitty of a hero as you are,” I say before entering my classroom. I saw the kids collaborating and couldn’t help but smile.

About fifteen minutes before dinner Shinsou showed up. He seemed to be in thought so nobody bothered him too much. He saw the buffet-style setup and looked a little out of place. I thought about making him a plate but decided to watch to know what we might need more of. And my efforts were fruitful, he’s a crab person just like me. He helped himself to a small serving of crab kamameshi, and his look when he ate a bite was adorable.

“So Shinsou, how was your day?” Midoriya asked him.

It was good, I’m still getting used to my new training but I’ll be fine. Maybe I’ll talk with him about making a better schedule.

“Well, we’ve been focusing more on ethics than actual training. It’s been fun, we learned how heroes are supposed to handle victims,” Todoroki said, I smiled knowing they listened to me.

“Yeah, we can go to our new lessons when we have our next study session,” Momo told him, I looked to Chuuya to see if he knew about this and he shrugged.

“There isn’t much to it. Just hand them over to the police and do your paperwork,” Mineta said, most of the class groaned at him.

“Don’t listen to him, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about,” Katsuki told Shinsou.

“Yeah, I do. All Might told us what to do,” Mineta pushed.

“Then Mr. Dazai gave us other options. The whole point of being heroes is to help the public,” Momo said.

“Shut up, slut, I wasn’t talking to you,” An angry growl was heard. “You grape shit, if I hear you talking like that about her again I will beat you so bad your mother won’t recognize you,” Jirou said, starting to move towards him.

“That is enough. Jirou, sit down. Mineta, apologize to Momo,” Mineta shook his head. “Fine then, finish your food and then go to your room,” I said, using the same voice I would use to talk to Kyuu when he gets in trouble.

“No, you can’t make me,” Ryuu started laughing. “You’re an actual child, even Kyuu behaves better than you and he’s barely a teenager. Grow up,” He said, standing up and walking to Mineta. “Ryuunosuke, sit down,” Chuuya said.

“This little bastard needs to learn some respect,” He said sitting down. This is getting out of hand. “Mineta, I don’t want to hear another word from you. I’ll see you in detention tomorrow, and Principal Nedzu will be hearing about this incident,” I say while putting my plate away.

“So, dinner and a show. How’s your first dinner with Class 1A Shinsou?” I heard Mina ask. Holy shit, Shinsou saw all of that. I’m just going to bang my head on the counter and hope that kills me. I can’t believe I let Shinsou see all of that.

“Yeah dude, this is normal for us. Mineta can’t keep himself out of trouble,” I heard from Denki. “I can too. Mr. Dazai just has it out for me,” I heard most of the students sigh.

“Him putting a stop to your bad behavior is not him having it out for you. It’s you finally getting the punishment you deserve,” Todoroki said, I could hear snarling and assumed Mineta was going to start a fight. Or it was Katsuki being Katsuki, either is possible.

“I don’t deserve this treatment. Don’t you think I would’ve gotten in trouble sooner if I was doing something wrong? None of our other teachers did this to me,” So it was Mineta, he was ruining Shinsou’s first dinner with the whole class.

“I believe Mr. Dazai told you to keep quiet. I would stop talking before you get in more trouble,” Midoriya said, that’s not going to work.

“What are they going to do, expel me? My parents donate a lot of money to the school, they wouldn’t dare,” Mineta said obnoxiously.

“So what? Three of the kids in your class are children of pro-heroes and Momo is the daughter of one of the wealthiest families in Japan. If they wanted to, they could destroy you. She’s just too much of a pushover to let something like that happen,” Ryuu said, I mean, he’s not wrong, he just is a little harsh about it.

“Hey! She’s not a pushover, she’s just nice,” Jirou spoke up, I wonder how close they are. I think Momo should talk to Kouyou or Yosano, they would be a real help to her confidence.

“No, she’s just too much of a coward to do anything about me,” Why isn’t Chuuya stopping this? “All of you need to stop. This is getting us nowhere,” There he is.

“Shinsou, I apologize for this. I didn’t think they would be this rude,” I could hear some cries of indignance but other than that there wasn’t much pushback.

I’ll have to talk with my class before this issue gets out of hand.

Guess who got sidetracked with a rewrite of Pretty Little Liars that nobody asked for? This girl! In all honesty, the Pretty Little Liars rewrite has been in the works for a while along with some other stories. I started to get a bit of writer's block on this story so I turned my attention to a different story and that helped. So now I'm back working on four different stories at a time.

Osamu P.O.V.

When Shinsou left, I called my class to the living room and sat them down. “You all are too old to be acting like children. Mineta, one day you are going to meet the wrong person and they are going to beat your ass. Stop calling Yaoyorozu names and grow up. I’ll see you in detention for the next two weeks,” I tell him.

“What? That’s not fair,” He shouts at me.

“You will also be on house arrest. You will learn to respect me, I know I have only been here for a couple of weeks but I am not like your other teachers. I will punish you if you go out of line,” I turned to Momo and Jirou.

“Jirou I appreciate that you stood up for Yaoyorozu but you need to let the teachers handle this sort of thing. You can’t be threatening other students. A day of detention and house arrest,” She nodded and sat quietly.

“Why does she get a day and I get two weeks?” Mineta shouted again.

“Because she was protecting Yaoyorozu and didn’t need to be told multiple times to stop. She also isn’t a repeat offender,” I say before addressing Yaoyorozu.

“You should stand up for yourself more. I get that it’s hard, but don’t sit there and take it when he calls you names when anyone calls you names. You’re a hero in training with a strong and useful quirk. Don’t let others belittle you, put them in their place. Who else can create gas masks at the drop of a hat, or canons? Who else knows the chemical formulas needed to make those things off the top of their head? You have all the skills and compassion needed to be a great hero but you need the confidence. So, tell Mineta off,” I said, staring her down.

“Right now?” I nodded.

“What the Hell? You can’t treat me like this!” Mineta shouted at me.

“Shut up! No one cares,” Yaoyorozu yelled back. The rest of the class and I were silently cheering her on.

“Since school started you have harassed every single girl you’ve come across. It’s embarrassing. I’m embarrassed that you’re my classmate. After all the bullying and villain attacks one would think you would take things seriously, but no. All you do is mess around and harass people. The only reason you are still in this school and not blacklisted from every hero school is your parent’s money and the Hero Commission’s greed. But even the Hero Commission will be forced to do something, remember that. You may be hard to touch but you're not infallible,” It would seem that once the floodgates opened there was no stopping her.

“You are a stain on Class 1A and I hope every day that you will finally get what’s coming to you,” beautiful, 10 out of 10.

“Do more of that. You have talent and you deserve respect,” I could see Chuuya nodded and felt accomplished. She might not be an orphan but Oda would have helped her anyways. The same goes for Todoroki, I’ll need to do something about Endeavor sooner or later.

“Okay, now that we got that out of the way, does anyone need homework help?” Chuuya said. Kaminari, Mina, Kenji, and Atsushi came up along with some of the other kids.

“Great, the rest of you can watch do something. Besides Mineta, you will be in your room for the rest of the night,” Mineta huffed and stomped upstairs.

The next day, I got up early so I could go talk to Principal Nezu. “Dazai, what can I do for you?” I sighed, hoping this would go easy for me.

“I’m putting Mineta on house arrest for a week and detention for two weeks,” Principal Nezu didn’t outwardly react.

“And what did he do now?” He asked, sounding somewhat irritated.

“He has been ignoring me when I warn him about his behavior towards the female students in my class. It all culminated last night when my students were talking about what they learned in class and he called Yaoyorozu a slut,” I informed him.

“And you felt the need to put him on house arrest. Do you think you can protect your class from the backlash they will get from his parents,” I nodded firmly.

“I can and will protect them. There is not much they can do against me and Chuuya,” Especially, not with the Port Mafia behind us.

“If you are certain you can protect your class then you can go ahead with the punishment. The next board meeting will be on Friday night. I hope you have a way to defend yourself,” I smirked.

“I have plenty of ways to defend myself. Those people won’t know what hit them,” He smiled.

“You have been very interesting, I heard you kicked All Might out of your class,” I sighed, of course the overgrown child would throw a fit when he doesn’t get his way.

“I did, he was getting in the way of my lesson. More than that, he was openly contradicting me in front of the class. That is part of the reason Mineta was blatantly disrespecting me. That man was causing a disruption so I kicked him out, and I’ll do it again,” I told him, I’m not budging on this.

“I see, I will talk to All Might about this. However, I don’t believe it would be wise to make an enemy out of him. It’s like making an enemy out of the Commission. They won’t let him be treated horribly, so I suggest you try to back off,” If I didn’t know any better I’d say he was threatening me.

“I’m not scared of the Commission. All Might’s “advice” was going to get someone killed. I squashed that before it could even bloom within most of my kids,” I said before standing up.

“I will not have him disrespecting me in front of my students, also he doesn’t have a teacher’s license, why is he a teacher?” Principal Nezu coughed and looked away.

“Yes, I am aware of his lack of license but he is an experienced hero. Once again, you should not make an enemy out of All Might and the Commission but I will talk to him about his perceived lack of respect. Have a nice day,” a clear dismissal, I won’t get anything else out of this. I think as I leave the office.

I can protect the class, something that All Might and the rest of the faculty should have done from the beginning.

Chapter Text

Osamu P.O.V.

It was the night of our next Board meeting. I decided I was going to be fancy and started making some macarons. While I was baking, Shoto came in and looked at me. “What is that?” he asked in his monotone voice.

“Macarons, do you want to try one?” He looked at the lemon batch I had made with skepticism.

“Those are lemon flavored. I’m making a strawberry flavor right now, I also plan on making matcha, blueberry, and chocolate if you don’t like lemon,” I said, noticing the stare.

“You made chocolate cookies last time,” I nodded and returned to piping. “I liked those,” he says before walking away. I sighed and shook my head, that kid has a long road ahead of him, he’ll need to learn to communicate someday if he wants to be a hero.

I finished all the macarons and set aside one of each flavor for Shoto. I’ll teach him how to make the chocolate chip cookies, that’ll be a fun class activity. Oh, I’m going to be late if I don’t hurry. Rushing out the door, macarons in hand, I made it to the conference room in record time. I just know today’s meeting is going to be eventful.

And boy was I right.

It didn’t take long for the meeting to start since I was one of the last people to show up. It also didn’t take long for them to zero in on me.

“So, we heard you and All Might have been butting heads in class. What makes you think you could talk to your co-workers like that?” Kouyou, Ranpo, and Yosano stiffened in their seats.

“He was openly contradicting me in front of my class when I was teaching a lesson on what to do with victims. He thinks they should just leave them with the police,” Dazai kept his composure but on the inside, he was seething just thinking about that incident.

“I see,” The chairwoman said.

“All Might is the number one hero for a reason. He would know how to help victims of an attack,” Present Mic noted.

“All Might was the number one hero, and he should know how to help but what he does is lacking at best,” Koyou bit back. She seems about as impressed with All Might as I am.

“The fact is that heroes are not obligated to do anything more than rescue people and stop villains. All the help centers and victim support groups are secondary to what we do. Sure, most heroes have these support centers but it is unnecessary. We can not hold people’s hand, they have to be able to work things out for themselves,” All Bitch said, I could tell it rubbed some the wrong way. I just need to look like the bigger person.

“If you believe that way, whatever, I don’t care what your ideals are. I do care that you are openly contradicting me and preventing me from doing my job,” I say, glaring at Bitch Might.

Before he could respond the chairwoman stepped in. “Yes, like I said, it would be best to stop arguing in front of the kids. Let’s move on. I’ve noticed that Class 1A has not made their introduction video. Do you know when they are going to come out?” I was pleasantly surprised that she didn’t take All Might’s side. A minor victory is still a victory.

“I was letting them get used to a new routine. We’re going to make it next week,” She nodded and before we could move on Vlad King spoke up.

“Every other class has made theirs, it isn’t fair that Class 1A hasn’t. They still have responsibilities and shouldn’t have been allowed to skip out on them simply because they were “settling down”. Every class had to move into the dorms. They still did what they were told to do without having to “settle in.” I’m sick of Class 1A getting special treatment,” he says as if letting twenty teenagers get used to a new environment, living situation, and routine was so bad.

“Besides it's 1A’s fault that we have dorms in the first place if anything the other classes would need to rest longer since they are always put in danger with 1A’s shenanigans,” Present Mic said, honestly how do these people have jobs.

“Villains attacked them. One of my students was kidnapped. It’s not like they took the fight to the villains,” I was getting sick and tired of this rhetoric that they were at fault when they weren’t.

“They are heroes, they have to learn how to fight villains and save civilians. It is good real-world practice,” They only have one reason to justify their treatment of 1A, don’t they?

“We are getting off-track. Mr. Dazai, please have them make their introduction videos soon. They have had a long enough time to adjust,” before I could make another argument Ranpo put his hand on my shoulder. Stop while I’m ahead, got it.

“Next order of business….” The meeting continued without any more interruptions. I was surprised that most people left us alone. By the time the meeting was over, I was almost zoning out, it went on for three hours without stopping, and the only parts that were relevant to me were talking about Class 1A.

Before I could leave, Kouyo stopped me. “I have to get back to Yokohama soon, so let Kyouka know that I will see her sometime soon,” I nodded, and she walked away. Yeah, Dazai, we have to get going as well. We have a couple of jobs to do at the agency. We’ll call you if we need you.” With that, the last two reasons I was staying here have left. So, I packed up my barely-touched macarons and left.

When I got back to the dorms it was relatively quiet. I saw Edgar helping some kids with English while Chuuya was helping with science. The slug was always good with subjects that had a definitive answer. When the students noticed my presence they all stopped what they were doing. I sighed and put the macarons on the table for them.

“You guys can help yourselves to the macarons after my announcement. We are going to start the introduction videos tomorrow. The first video will be a class introduction and then we will go in alphabetical order. The individual videos should be no more than two minutes each and stick to the basics. If you feel uncomfortable tell a teacher and we will work something out,” I checked the time and sighed.

“How long have they been working on homework?” I asked Chuuya. “A couple of hours, we are finishing up soon though. They’ve been doing well,” I smiled at my husband.

“That’s good, have they had dinner,” he nodded and pointed to the kitchen. “There are leftovers if you want some,” I shook my head. “No, the meeting took a lot out of me, I’m going to go to bed,” I turned to my class.

“Don’t stay up too late, we have videos of things to do tomorrow,” I went to my apartment and could see that Ryuu and Gin were still awake. “Did you guys eat?” They nodded. “That’s good, I’m going to bed, goodnight,” I kissed Gin on the head and ruffled Ryuu’s head.

Nothing feels better after a long day than getting into some warm pajamas and a cuddly blanket.

Notes:

Hey.... Hey..... Im back. I don't really have an excuse for how long this took so here it is.
