All the strings that point to you

Summary:

You’ve always had 8 strings on your fingers.
You’ve always hated the notion of having a soulmate, let alone eight.

But of course, fate has its ways of toying with you, and when you end up in your university lecture hall with 3 of said soulmates, it starts you on a journey down a path you never imagined it would.

(To be updated :>)

Chapter 1: 8 + 2 makes a perfect 10

Chapter Text

“Mummy! Look! Look!” You say, holding out your hands. You’ve tied 2 more red strings on your fingers, one on each pinkie. Your hand is now complete, you think, each with one pretty red string of its own.

”Not now Honey..” your mother replies, not even glancing down at you.

“oh..ok then.”

You run to your sister. “Look! Look! It’s all pretty now!” You shout as you proudly hold up your hands for her to see.

8 soul strings and 2 loosely tied cotton ones.

She smiles, patting your head as she reminds you, once again, that she can’t actually see your soul strings. No one can, except your soulmates and yourself.

“oh but don’t get me wrong, they’re very pretty. Do you want to teach me how to make one too?” She asks, holding out her hands.

“Y/N! GURL DID YOU SEE THIS? I LITERALLY CANNOT EVEN. LIKE OH MY GOSH. I’M GOING TO CRY.”

You look up from your work to see Ellie, your roommate. She’s practically vibrating as she shows you the official announcement from Stray Kids.

“THEY’RE FILMING SOMETHING IN YOUR UNIVERSITY. LIKE TODAY. LIKE NOW. YOU NEED TO GO.”
