"...YOUR PLANING TO WHAT!??"
the loud shocked voice of the younger witch pierced through the silence of the empty classroom
Croix winced at the loud tone of Akko's voice
"Shh! Keep your voice down"
Croix gave a couple quick worry filled glances Around the empty classroom and at the locked door
As much as Croix silently resented Akko for getting so much of Chariot's time and attention she couldn't deny she was starting to feel a bit of a motherly love for the young witch
Although she doesn't love and care for Akko the way Chariot does but hey at least she's not kidnaping and doing dumb science experiments on Akko like a cheap cartoon villain anymore
"But yes..I am planning to propose to Char-"
"OH MY GOD! YES YES YES! IM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT I MEAN PROFESSOR CHARIOT ALWAYSSSS TALKS ABOUT YOU AND AND!-
Akko cut Croix off to go on a Long Long..rant about how excited she is to help with the one and only shiny Chariot's marriage proposal,and the wedding planning and the wedding itself.
When professor Croix had asked Akko to stay after class,Akko immediately thought that She was about to be good she was failing class and would need to have extra homework or something like that! Never in her wildest dreams did Akko EVER EVER think she'd be able to help with her own idol's proposal
Croix sighed as she leaned back in her chair
Out of all the people she could have asked to help her..she just had to ask shiny Chariot's biggest fan girl
"SO! HAVE YOU ALREADY GOTTEN A RING PICKED OUT!? OOO IF YOU HAVEN'T YOU SHOULD GET ONE WITH A RED STONE! CHARIOT LOVES THE COLOUR RED-"
it was Croix's time to cut someone off mid sentence
"Well actually..I haven't yet"
Croix admitted quietly as she glanced towards the window, avoiding the glare of Akko's deep wine coloured eyes
For the first time Akko didn't have a loud quick reply
She just looked at Croix blankly,jaw dropped
"...so let me get this right. You want to propose WITHOUT A DANG RING!?"
ah never mind Akko was back to practically screaming again
Croix still couldn't help but jump slightly as Akko's voice once again pierced through the peaceful environment
.."How has Chariot not gone deaf because of this damm girl?"
Croix thought to herself
"Well I have my eyes on this beautiful ring I think Chariot would love..but the thing is I don't know her ring size"
Croix felted her cheeks turn pink as she blushed in slight embarrassment,I mean she's known for Chariot for like over 10 years now! Since they were students and Croix doesn't know her ring size..of course there would always something slightly wrong with Croix's plans
".. your even dumber then I thought"
Akko said eyebrows raised slightly in shock as she looked at her Professor or in other words former kidnapper who sat across the table a slight grimace on her face as her cheeks glow with a slight pink hue,due to her embarrassment
Croix groaned, Akko was right Croix may be a genius but she's still a little dumb at times
"Well. Let's not throw insults back and forth..got any ideas how I can ask without makeing it suspicious?"
Croix asked her tone slightly softer now
Akko's face twisted slightly as she thinks hard, clearly something she doesn't do often
"Well?"
Croix raised an eyebrow
"Shhh! I'm thinking!"
Akko snapped back
"Oh I knew I smelt something burning"
Croix shot back just as quickly,a smug smirk on her face
"Hey! Don't be a bully again! Or else I'll tell Chariot!"
Oh this was going to be fun.

"Are you sure this will work?"
Croix asked as she walked beside Akko in the crowded hallways of Luna nova as students made their way to the lunch hall eager for their plain potatoes or whatever was for lunch that day
"Yes! I know professor Ursula- professor Chariot like the back of my hand! She won't suspect a thing!"
Akko grinned widely as she picked her pace up a tiny bit
"Now let's hurry! I don't want to miss lunch I've been eyeing that potato soup all day!"
Croix chuckled softly, hearing the eager tone in Akko's voice for some dumb soup,she probably hasn't eaten anything from the lunch hall of Luna nova in years! Even when she was a student and now as a professor. Instead she kept a hidden stash of spicy ramen in her dorm, although Chariot would always tell her off about it and tell her to eat healthy instead of some cheap processed ramen
The first place the duo checked for Chariot is the astrology tower..god the stairs really did annoy Croix,Akko ran up the Stairs like second nature probably due to the amount of late night visits to go and ask Chariot for stories of her time as shiny Chariot
As Croix finally got to the top of the stairs (a little out of breath) Akko was already standing infornt of the door knocking
"Hellllloooooo! Professor Chariot! Are you in?"
Akko calls out happily and..very loudly as she stands up on her tip-toes looking through the small glass window on the door
"Ah! Just one second"
The familiar Voice of a red haired witch called out from inside
Croix felt her chest tighten,she told Akko over and over to act normal knowing Akko she would definitely slip up but Croix also knew that there's a huge chance of her messing up
"Ok Akko.. please just remember to act natural"
Croix whispered in a hushed tone to Akko
Before Akko can reply the door swings open
"So what brings you two by today?"
Chariot says in a sweet tone
Her dark ruby eyes looking at Croix and Akko
A warm smile on her lips now
Chariot wears her oval glasses still,her bright rose red hair tied into her usual ponytail falling over her right shoulder
Croix avoided Chariot's warm gaze and looked at the floor
This idea was dumb and she knew it was,Akko came up with the idea so of course it was dumb! But Croix couldn't come up with one herself so that was all she had
"Well me and professor Croix had a super super SUPERRRR! Cool idea!"
Croix felt a slight bit of panic as Akko spoke in her loud and proud tone.. Croix could feel Akko was about to say something and slip up
"Oh really? What is it Akko dear?"
Chariot responds her voice soft and silky as she smiled at her student
"Can we get matching rings?! You know for likeeee..."
Oh no. Croix felt her blood run cold as Akko forgot her lines she couldn't just correct her without makeing her look suspicious but she needed to do something
".. matching rings?"
Chariot tilted her head slightly in a bit of confusion, Akko was acting off..and so was Croix
"Y-YEA! For mother's day!"
"Y-Yes! Like friendship bracelets but in ring form!"
Oh no.
Croix felt the colour drain from her face as her and Akko both shot out different reasons.. Akko's voice being a lot louder than Croix's
Croix and Akko both gave a worried glance at eachother and back at Chariot who had a slightly shocked look on her face as she crossed her arms
"For.. mother's day? Akko sweetie it's November"
Chariot sounds even more confused now
Croix was also slightly confused at why Chariot didn't even question Akko wanting to get her a mother's day gift..looks like they were a bit closer then Croix had previously thought
"Oh it is November!..haha! Haha!"
Akko laughed akwardly and loudly
Croix felted her heart practically stop,everything was going wrong!
"Is.. something wrong with you two? Croix you've hardly spoke and Akko your acting strange.. stranger then usual"
Chariot speaks with a slightly concerned tone now as she glances at her lover and then back at her student
"YES WE'RE BOTH FINE!"
Akko and Croix both answered in Unison..
They weren't as good as acting as they thought..either that or Chariot has spent so much time with them both she can read them like a book, probably a mix of both
Chariot's eyes widen slightly at the volume of both their voices and the sheer panic to
"Ah..ok? That's great I'm a little confused-
In typical Akko fashion she cuts Chariot off
"Hahaha! Ignore that! Let's just go with professor Croix's idea instead it's way better..so what's your ring size?"
Akko has a nervous smile on her face as she talks in a slightly shaky tone knowing that if she messes this up she'll be getting an F in Morden magic for the next year! And she doesn't want to mess this up for both her idol and professor Chariot
Croix on the other hand looks like a ghost now,the colour completely drained from her face and her eyes wide.. Croix was really not good at acting chill when she was with Chariot
Sure Croix was good at acting and putting on a some sort of mask but Chariot would always find a way to make Croix crack
"Oh hm my ring size is 6-
"THANK YOU CHARIOT THAT'S GREAT OK GOODBYE NOW"
Croix said as she grabbed Akko's hand and practically dragged the young witch out the Astrology tower leaving an extremely confused Chariot behind.
"..huh?"
Chariot just stood in the doorway for a few seconds before she just shrugged it off and went back inside her dorm
As long as Croix wasn't running experiments,tricking, lying and deceiving Akko there was no need to question it, Chariot was just happy to see her two favourite people get along
Chariot walked back over to her desk to finish grading the test she handed out last week to her students
Chariot smiled as she marked Akko's work
"Ah! 45%! Amazing my little Akko is getting so smart"

"Akko are you ok?..you seem a little quiet lately"
Lotte asked as she looked at her friend with a slightly concerned look in her blue eyes
Sure Akko was probably acting a bit weird but why wouldn't she! Professor Croix told her she couldn't tell a single soul! But how was Akko supposed to stay quiet about this! She was helping plan shiny Chariot's marriage proposal of course Akko was so excited she wanted to tell everyone in a 10 mile radius but.. Akko wasn't one to break a promise
Especially to a .."friend"
"Oh! Me? Quiet!? Hahah! No way! Nope! Everything is fine just fine!"
The uneasy tone in Akko's voice made Lotte slightly more concerned and sucy just a bit confused
"Really? You've hardly spoke about shiny Chariot much today.."
Sucy said in a blank tone as she looked up from her book of poison or something like that Akko never really paid much attention to books let alone one's she wasn't reading
And it was true,akko did in fact not talk about shiny Chariot as much as she usually would but of she talked about shiny Chariot she was sure to slip up and tell everyone about Croix's plans!
As much as Akko didn't want to break a promise..what was the harm in telling only two people?
"OK OK I'LL SAY IT! PROFESSOR CROIX TOLD ME THAT SHE'S PLANING ON PROPOSEING TO PROFESSOR CHARIOT! AND SHE WANTS ME TO HELP HER PLAN IT SINCE I KNOW CHARIOT SO WELL! BUT BUT SHE ALSO TOLD ME I CAN'T TELL A SINGLE SOUL ABOUT THIS INCASE IT GETS BACK TO CHARIOT BUT BUT I REALLY WANNA TELL-
Lotte cut Akko's long rambling off
"Oh really! That's so sweet"
Lotte smiled sweetly
"I bet your so excited to help out huh?"
Sucy said a tiny bit more enthusiasm in her voice.. only a tiny bit
Akko could hardly contain her excitement,I mean she was practically grining ear to ear by now!
"OF COURSE I AM! IM SO SO SO HAPPY AND I-
"...I can't wait to hear about this for the next 2 weeks"
Sucy mumbled sarcastically as she looked back down at her book,the sound of Akko's loud voice filling the small dorm with the occasional soft sound of Lotte adding something in

".. you TOLD WHO!"
Croix could hardly believe it! She knew Akko was probably going to mess something up sooner or later but damm? Already!? It had just been over 24 hours
"I'm sorry IM SORRY! BUT I HAD TO! HOW CAN I POSSIBLY STAY QUIET ABOUT SUCH AN EXCITING THING?!"
Croix rolled her eyes
Akko was right..Croix knew there was a risk in getting Akko involved but Croix meridies just had to do the most risky things ever
"Oh come on professor! Don't roll your eyes at me it's not like I told the whole school ! Only Sucy and Lotte"
Yes it may have only been two people but Croix really didn't want this getting out everywhere..
"Yes akko it may have been only two people BUT I TOLD YOU TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHU-
"Sorry to intrude,but may I ask what's with all the screaming? I can hear you both from down the hall"
Of course another student just had to walk in
"oh! Hello Diana!"
Akko waved and grinned widely
Great. Now Croix was going to tell Diana now to..but what's the harm in telling just..one more person?
It's not like Diana would go and tell everyone, unlike Akko Diana knows how to hold her tongue
Croix sighed she motion to the empty chair next to Akko
Diana raised an eyebrow but decided to go and sit anyway
"So what's going on? You aren't trying to experiment on Akko again are you?"
God people really weren't going to forget about that as easily as Croix wanted
"No. No I am not.."
Croix crossed her legs and rested her elbows on the table
"I'm planing to propose to Chariot. And I asked Akko for help since she knows Chariot so well but I told her not to Tell ANYONE! but of course she..had TO TELL SUCY AND LOTTE!"
Croix shot Akko a quick glare
Diana smiled ever so slightly..
"Oh really now?..well if that's the case..I would well I would be happy to- i..uh well I would help out if you needed"
Diana said as she looked down at the floor
"What..the fuck? Since when did Diana like Chariot" Croix thought
"YAY! I MEAN YOU LOVEEEE SHINY CHARIOT DON'T YOU DIANA I KNOW YOU REALLY WANNA HELP OUT!-
Once again Akko goes on a long rant about Chariot.
Croix held back a laugh seeing the look of shock and embarrassment on Diana's face as Akko went on about how big of a shiny Chariot fan Diana was and how she couldn't believe it..
Well what's the harm in having 2 helpers?
Diana could stay quiet.. well Croix hoped.
