Chapter Text
Umbin, God of the Ostracized, watched as Izuku Midoriya’s paths split from one moment in particular. They watched as he became a hero, a villain, or anything in between. They saw all of the times their favorite mortal was hurt. And they regretted blessing him, for if they had not, he would not have suffered as much.
Umbin decided to show the original Izuku, the one which all of the alternates had come from, a world in which he may not have been a Pro Hero, but he was a hero to their blessed.

When Izuku fell asleep the previous night, he did not expect to wake up to a bright flash of light. He shot up, opening his eyes to see a pale blue room, with a large tv taking up one of the walls. Suddenly, more people began appearing, each of them jolting up and looking around. Izuku saw his class, class 1-B, and the pro heroes. He thought everyone was there, until Izuku heard groans behind him. He turned to see the League of Villains and he prepared for a fight.
But the League appeared just as confused as everyone else. Izuku relaxed a bit, and then he heard a small cough from the wall with the screen. A small redhead had appeared. They were androgynous, with short curly hair and hazel eyes hidden behind glasses.
“I am Umbin,” they said as everyone saw them, “and I am the God of the Ostracized.” The room was quickly filled with murmurs of disbelief.
“WHY THE FUCK ARE WE HERE?” yelled Bakugo, trying to produce explosions. He was surprised when none appeared. “Your quirks will not work here.” The god said calmly. “I brought you all here to read an alternate universe centered around Izuku Midoriya.”
“M-me?” Izuku asked nervously. “Yes, child,” Umbin said, smiling gently at the nervous boy. Izuku calmed down a bit, but not much.
“The universe will be playing on the screen. Any snacks will appear whenever there is a break. The video will start once everyone is ready, and will pause when anyone speaks.” the god said. Comfortable seats appeared, and the god spoke again when everyone was prepared. “Enjoy!”
