Peg, I know you're busy with work but the art gallery is tonight at 8 o'clock on the dot. And don't you dare be late. - Steve
it's 9:45, and Peggy is just gettong home from work. She's in the middle of getting undressed when she notices the note and a piece of chocolate on the night stand.
"Oh no..." she says out loud. She picks up the phone and debates who she should call to help her. She has clothes, yes. But nothing to wear to a party...aside from her wedding dress, but she's not about to show up to an art gallery in a damn wedding dress.
She finally decides on calling Ana Jarvis...but unfortunately, a different voice picks up.
"Hey, girlypop." It's Bucky.
"What the hell is a-nevermind. Is Ana there?"
"She went to the gallery."
"James, I have nothing to wear. Please help."
"Relax. Michaels already on his way."
10:30 PM.
"And...done. You look gorgeous. I've really outdone myself tonight."
"Does Barnes still have that jeep?"
"He does."
"I'm stealing it."
Michael gives her the keys. "Way ahead of you, Pegs."
11:15 PM
Peggy adjusts the straps on her silver dress and reapplys her lipstick.
"You're late."
Steve is smirking at her in the mirror. She turns around. "This is the first and only time I will be late to see you, darling."
"Well, you look absolutely amazing. When did you get the time to find this? And where did you find it? The only thing we had even close to this is yout wedding dress."
"Oh, this? It's just a little thing I threw together."
