Quite a few months have passed since the battle with the 13 Lords had commenced. After the gang emerged victorious, they quickly proceeded to fix the infrastructure and rebuild Lord Gen's debilitated palace. All the members who were on the verge of death had also made a full recovery, thanks to Li Shiyu's Nuwa agent and Boss Lan's spiritual power. Even Little Four woke up from his slumber.
Finally, Ling Lan felt at ease. Everything was going smoothly. She just finished checking documents related to the acquisition of new territories and decided to take a break. Now that there was no imminent danger, for the time being, she resolved to solve the mundane problems of her team members first. Ah, how a leader's task is never done, always need to be on the lookout for the well-being of their members.
Ling Lan was not gonna admit she was bored and wanted to gossip about her friends' love lives with them. As a matter of fact, Little Four felt the same. Being a busybody seems to run in the family.

I can't believe I missed so much drama!" Little Four pouted as he rambled on, using the new words and phrases he recently learned from reading the books of Ling Lan's past life. He used to be the intelligent entity who kept track of all the latest intel and happenings of the Lingtian Clan, now he was the most clueless member. This made Little Four unhappy.
'I must get back my position! Otherwise, Boss will start to think I am useless hnnng'
Ling Lan stroked her chin like she was lost in thought. "That's what I gathered from Leopard. It was he who noticed first that Qi Long started to reciprocate Han Xuya's feelings. It was also he who figured out that Li Shiyu and Luo Chao might like each other. What I am confused about is why didn't any of them, at the very least Luo Chao, felt the need to confide in me. Am I just too oblivious? Leopard said that Luo Chao was afraid to speak her mind because this technically counts as an affair...BUT we don't have that sort of relationship. She knows I am a girl! Both she and Xuya are only acting as my fiance in name to solidify the validity of my male identity. So...then why?"
Little Four contemplated a little. "Well, Luo Chao and Han Xuya are going to come back from their training regiment anyway, so you can ask them then. As for Little Li, Boss that black lotus is always up to no good! I say he must be scheming something! I don't know exactly what!"
Ling Lan sighed. "Oh, you...always trying to start a fight with him. I am really concerned about what sort of chaos will ensue when you finally get a physical body...I am afraid you'll challenge Li Lanfeng to a virtual duel or something out of impulse! For no reason! Then lose miserably...Stay away from him okay? I am afraid you'll fall into Li Lanfeng's traps in the future."
"This again! Boss, I can't believe you have such low faith in me! You'll see that I am right! And I will win too!" Little Four cried indignantly but then began to snicker. "Right now, we gotta solve your problem Boss. Think about it. Both of your 'fiances' are in love with someone else. How scandalous! The Boss Lan, a very powerful 'man' is gonna be made into a cuckold twice! At the same time! How are you gonna get out of this one Boss? Right on cue there was a knock on the door. The two girls have arrived.
"Alright Boss, I will be in the back of your mind space updating myself with information from your memories. I'll be keeping an eye out for the conversation, can't miss the tea! So feel free to contact me if you need anything! Wait, can this be considered your first friend group chitchat? Wow, my big sister's first female friend group gossip! I am recording today's date, it's special! Have fun ok?" Then he left as fast as lightning, without waiting for her reply.
Ling Lan rolled her eyes and then smiled fondly. Always so dramatic, that Little Four. It was so nice to have him back. She truly missed her little brother and his electric energy in those precarious times.
