My little devil

Summary:

*Previously titled: I can't be the only one*

'He knew about trans people and non binary people. He wasn't an idiot. He just didn't know how it all fully worked. He knew and understood the terms and what they meant, but didn't everyone not feel comfortable in their own skin sometimes? Didn't everyone think and dream about being the opposite sex sometimes? Didn't everyone have the urge to rip their skin off when someone needlessly gendered them?

So what that Katsuki didn't like being called sir or bro or young man. So what if he hated being called handsome and would much rather be called cute or beautiful. So what if he had been wondering what it would be like to be a girl since he was six. So what if he found girls clothes to be more enticing and eye catching then boys clothes. So what if wearing that dress, the dress that had been washed and tucked neatly away in his dresser, had made him feel the most comfortable he had in a long time. None of it mattered.'

Katsuki just likes to dress like a girl. That's it. He swears that's it. Why does it feel like that's not completely right though?

Notes:

First chapter of a new fic because I get ideas even though I have plenty of other fics to work on and finish! I hope everyone enjoys though!

First few chapters will be Katsuki learning about how they feel in those very crucial years. Then we'll get to Yuuei and everyone else. We'll probably be at Yuuei by like chapter 3 or 4. Just depends.

I give Katsuki another good relationship with their mother. Masaru isn't in the story because my dad was an absolute POS and I'm projecting. I do that sometimes! Plus Mitsuki is Bi because I said so.

Katsuki's pronouns will not change for the first few chapters. It will be he/him for a little bit.

Stay safe my friends.

Chapter 1: The dress

Chapter Text

Katsuki's mom walked in on him trying on a dress when he was only twelve.

- An hour earlier

Katsuki was walking down the street on his way home from school when he spotted a pretty dark green dress in a shop window. He had been curious on what it would feel like to wear a dress for a while now. When he seen that dress, he couldn't help but stop in his tracks and stare. It looked so soft. It was a long sleeved dress that had ruffles towards the bottom. It looked like it would twirl out if he spun around in it.

He felt lucky that Izuku's mom picked him up after school and Kariage had detention today. The three of them usually walked home from school together. Katsuki knew he may not have this opportunity again anytime soon.

He couldn't stop himself because next thing he knew, he was in the shop looking for the same dress in a size that would fit him. He found one that seemed like it would fit him. He looked around nervously to make sure nobody was looking at him, and then he checked the price. It was kind of steep, but he really wanted the dress.

He took the dress to the counter to buy it. The lady at the register raised an eyebrow at him. Katsuki glared at her. "What? It's a gift for my mother."

She put her hands up and smirked at him, "I don't care who it's for kid. You're just a little young to be out by yourself aren't you?"

Katsuki rolled his eyes as he handed over the money. "My old man is right outside." He didn't feel like arguing with some random extra. He was also lying. His dad had left a couple years earlier. It had been just him and his mom for the last couple years.

He stuffed the dress in his backpack as he left the store. He didn't want to wrinkle it but he also didn't want his mom to know about it if she was home when he got there.

Katsuki made it home, and it turned out his mom wasn't home yet, so he made his way into the house and up to his room to try on the dress. He slid off his school uniform until he was just in his boxers. He held the dress in his hands, just running his calloused fingers over the soft material.

Was this okay? Should he be doing this? He really wanted to try on the dress, but was he allowed to do this?

Katsuki shook his head. He could do whatever he wanted.

He slipped the dress on over his head and onto his body. It was snug but it wasn't too tight. It came down to rest right around his knees. He twirled slightly and the dress puffed out. He couldn't help but smile. He did a full spin and the dress puffed and twirled with him. He felt good.

Then he looked in his bedroom mirror. For the first time in a long time, Katsuki looked over his entire profile in the mirror, and for the first time in a while he didn't hate what stared back at him.

Katsuki had always had more feminine features, especially in his face. People always tried to pick on him and make fun of him for it, but Katsuki was a lot meaner and more powerful than them so most people didn't pick on him for very long. It was usually his body that looked more masculine, except for his waist, but right now there were no broad shoulders to be seen. No toned stomach with the beginning of abs. No muscled arms. He actually looked kind of soft in a way he really liked.

Katsuki couldn't help but keep looking in the mirror, he just looked completely like a girl. Anyone who seen him right now would definitely think he was a girl.

Something in his chest ached and he didn't know what it was.

He ignored it though and actually decided to take a picture. He felt that good. He never took photos of himself and hated when anyone else took photos of him. He took a few photos and as he was looking at them, he wondered how he would look with a little bit of makeup to go with the dress.

There was a sudden and quick knocking on his door and then his mom was walking in before he could even move. "Katsuki, how was school? You started on your..."

Katsuki froze in place as his mom stared at him. She was staring right back at him with the same shocked expression. They really did look alike. The rest of her sentence fell out of her mouth. "Homework."

If Katsuki wasn't frozen in place, he would have screamed at her for walking in on him, but he was just petrified. "It's...I...Don't be..." He couldn't form a complete fucking sentence to save his life at the moment.

His mom put her hands on her hips, "Katsuki. If you wanted to dress up, why didn't you come to me? I'm literally one of the best fashion designers in Japan. I'm kind of insulted you didn't come to me first."

Katsuki felt his eyes get wider and he didn't think that was possible at the moment. She really didn't care her son was in a dress? He knew she supported him when he told her he liked boys as well as girls, but this was a little bit different. "You don't care that I'm wearing a dress?"

Mitsuki rolled her eyes. "I don't care what you want to wear. I'll make you all the skirts and dresses you want, but I'm making them. My kid will not be wearing knock off shit. I'm your mother Katsuki, I don't give a shit what you do, as long as your little brat ass is happy."

He honestly didn't know how to respond to that. She was willing to make him whatever he wanted to wear? The thought of being able to walk around in something he wanted to wear, like a skirt, and his mom wouldn't judge him, sounded really nice. He shifted his weight from foot to foot. "Umm, okay, thanks mom."

She ruffled his hair, "KitKat, I love you. Nothing will change that. You could come out to me as a girl or a non binary, or a whatever, and I will still always love you and support you."

His chest warmed at her words. He hadn't heard her call him KitKat for a while now. It had always been his nickname from her. She brought him into a hug and he actually embraced her back. "I love you too mom."

Katsuki laid in bed that night going over a particular thing his mom had said to him. "You could come out to me as a girl or a non binary, or a whatever, and I will still always love you and support you." For some reason he couldn't get those words out of his head. He didn't understand why but he just couldn't.

He knew about trans people and non binary people.

None of it mattered.

Katsuki turned over on his stomach and closed his eyes trying to force himself to sleep so he could stop thinking. He wasn't trans. He was just a boy. Even if he hated it sometimes, he was just a boy. Nothing would change that.

Katsuki did end up asking his mom to make him a few things the following morning. He was a boy, but he could still like girl's clothes, right? He asked her to make him a skirt and a nice blouse to go with it. Plus some yoga pants and shorts that he could lounge around the house in instead of his sweats. He just wanted to be comfortable and it seemed like girls clothing made him more comfortable.

She told him she would and to give her a couple days and they'd be ready.

Katsuki spent most of the day in his head, and it didn't go unnoticed by his two friends. Izuku and Kariage walked with Katsuki as they made their way home from school.

Kariage threw his arm over Katsuki's shoulder as they walked and Katsuki unconsciously leaned into him. Izuku was giving him a concerned look, but Katsuki was way too far in his own head to notice. "Kacchan? What's wrong? You've been quiet all day."

Kariage even shook him a little bit, "Yeah, what's up with you? You sick or something?"

Even with them all only being twelve, Kariage towered over them. He was a lanky kid though so Katsuki barely registered Kariage shaking him. It wasn't until he smelled cigarette smoke did he come out of his thoughts. Katsuki turned to glare at Kariage. "What have I told your dumbass about smoking? It's going to kill you and I would rather your dumbass not die." Gods he had a crush on such an idiot.

Kariage smirked at him as he snubbed out the cigarette. "Had to get your attention somehow Kat. Izuku was talking to you, and so was I. You were just too far gone. It's always nice to hear how much you care about me though."

Katsuki rolled his eyes. Stupid bastard. "I'm fine. Just thinking about some stuff."

Izuku turned to look at him. "What stuff Kacchan? It seems to be really bothering you?"

He sucked in a breath. Could he really tell them? Would they make fun of him? He bit on his lip as he walked. No, they wouldn't make fun of him. Kariage may tease him, but he wouldn't seriously make fun of him. He hopes. "Do you guys ever think about being a girl?"

They both came to a stop so Katsuki did too. Izuku gave him a look. It was a kind and fond look, but it was an analyzing one. Which was the usual with Izuku. "No, not really. I mean girls are really pretty, but I don't think about being one."

Kariage nodded, "Same with Izuku. Girls sure are good looking, but I've never thought about being one. I like being a dude." He paused for a moment. "Do you Kat?"

Katsuki kept his eyes cast downward and wouldn't look at either of them as he spoke. "I do. I thought everyone did. You're telling me you guys don't ever think about what it would be like to wake up as a girl one day? How your life would change? What it would be like?"

They both shook their heads no, and now Katsuki really felt alone. If they didn't think like he did, did anyone?

Izuku gave him a small smile, "I think that's just fine Kacchan. I don't think there's anything wrong with wondering what it would be like being a girl. It's just curiosity."

Kariage nodded along, "Plus yours and Izuku's brains are always busy. You two think more than anyone else I have ever met."

Katsuki wanted to ask them what if it wasn't just curiosity? He but his tongue though. He also wanted to bring up the dress, but he kept his mouth shut on that too. It would be better to figure himself out first.

They walked in awkward silence for a few moments, but then Kariage lit a cigarette, Katsuki yelled at him, and Izuku began rambling about the newest up and coming hero. Things flowed naturally again after that and eventually they hit the spot where they went separate ways. Izuku and Katsuki lived only a couple blocks from each other but Kariage still had another ten minute walk.

Katsuki nodded at Kariage and Izuku waved to him as they set off down their street. Izuku's apartment came up first, so Katsuki nodded at him and was about to go on his way, but Izuku stopped him. Izuku grabbed onto his shirt. "Kacchan, about what you said earlier. You know you can trust Kariage and me. We're your friends and we won't judge you."

Katsuki knew they wouldn't, but he just didn't feel like going in depth about his thought process. "Tch. I'm alright nerd...Thanks though."

Izuku smiled at him and waved before running up the steps to his apartment. Katsuki quietly huffed and continued walking towards his home.

It only took his mom two more days to finish up what he asked her to make for him. It was on a Saturday. She handed him the clothes, "Everything should fit. Now go on, I want to see."

Katsuki took the clothes, "I'm not one of your models." They both knew he was going to do it anyway though.

Katsuki went to the bathroom and slipped off his shirt and sweats. He looked at the skirt. It was a pleated black skirt. Simple but extremely well made. He shimmied it up his legs until it set on his hips and zipped it up. It came to a stop right at his knees. He then slid on the blouse. It was a light orange button up blouse. He buttoned it up and looked in the mirror.

Again he smiled at his reflection. It felt so odd being able to look in the mirror and like what looked back. He mused his hair slightly, and as he went to grab the door knob, he had a thought. He wanted to try on some makeup.

His mom kept some of her makeup in the bathroom. He looked through the bathroom closet until he found a few things. He found a thing of mascara that he put on. It went on pretty easily. Then he tried his hand at eyeliner, but it was disaster. He tried fixing it the best he could but it was a lost cause. He just tried to wipe it off the best he could without messing up the mascara. Just the mascara alone made his eyes more striking and he was happy with that.

He exited the bathroom and found his mom in the kitchen. He stood there awkwardly until she looked up at him. She smirked at him, "Damn I'm good at my job. You look great Katsuki." She came a little closer and stopped. "Are you wearing makeup?"

He played around the with bottom of the blouse. "Yeah."

She cupped his face to get a better look. "Not bad for a first try. Eyeliner can be a tricky bitch. I can see where you tried to apply it. Come on."

She made her way to the bathroom and Katsuki followed. He sat down on the toilet lid as his mom went through the closet. She brought out the eyeliner and knelt down so she was face level. "Don't move Katsuki."

Katsuki sat still as he let his mom apply the eyeliner. After a few moments Mitsuki stood up and stepped back with a smirk. "There you go. Wings so sharp they'll cut someone. I'll show you if you want to learn."

Katsuki stood up and looked in the mirror again. He smiled at his reflection again. He looked absolutely feminine, and he loved it. He turned to his mom and pointed at his eyes. "Show me."

They spent the next half an hour going over how to properly apply eyeliner and all the tricks his mom knew. It was honestly nice spending time with his mom like this. She was usually busy with work and he was either doing homework, studying, or training to get in Yuuei. This was the first time they did something together in a long while.

His mom left the bathroom so he could try on the other things. He did take some quick pictures before he changed because he felt good. He slipped off the blouse and skirt and he slipped on the yoga pants. They were soft as he pulled them up his legs and set them snugly at his hips. They were definitely comfortable. They were black and at the top there was a think orange waistband that had "Bakugou" in big letters all around the band. They were cute.

His mom also made him a spaghetti strapped tank top that went with the pants and the shorts. He slipped the tank top on. It was black with little explosion patterns on the chest.

He felt cute, but his exposed shoulders and arms made his stomach twist up in a certain way that he didn't understand. He liked the tank top, but he liked the blouse and the dress more.

Katsuki showed his mom anyway, but she could tell something was bothering him. "What's wrong? Something's bothering you."

He shifted his weight. "I like the pants, and I like the tank top. I think I just prefer long sleeves. I don't know, shoulders and arms are making me feel weird."

She gave him a look like she was thinking about something. She just nodded though, "More long sleeves it is then. I can work with that."

Katsuki nodded and headed back into the bathroom to try on the shorts. They were a light pink pair of shorts that had a band around the waist and each leg. They were comfortable, but with how much of his legs were visible, he preferred the yoga pants.

After everything was tried on. He settled on lounging around in the yoga pants and his regular skull T-shirt for his lazy Saturday.

Even on a "lazy" Saturday, he still ended up studying. He was in the middle of studying for a math test he had on Monday when he heard the doorbell ring. His mom was downstairs so he figured he'd let her get it. A few moments later his mom was knocking on his door. She at least waited this time until he told her to come in this time.

She opened his door, "Izuku and your boyfriend are outside waiting for you."

Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Kari isn't my boyfriend." He stood up, but then remembered what he was wearing and the makeup he still had on. "Shit, I need to change and wipe the makeup off."

He wasn't happy about that and it seemed like his mom noticed. "Why do you need to change? Don't let them make you feel like you have to hide what you like. You're a Bakugou. We don't hide from what we want. Do we?"

Katsuki shook his head. His mom was right. Why was he hiding what he liked from his best friends? Plus Izuku and Kariage wouldn't make fun of him. They wouldn't.

He took a breath and made his way downstairs. He opened the front door and stood in front of Izuku and Kariage. Izuku looked him up and down. Kariage did the same, but Katsuki noticed he had a pink dusting on his cheeks when he did.

Katsuki put his hands on his hips, "You two going to just stand there and stare at me or are you coming in?"

He turned to walk into the house and heard the two of them follow.

Kariage was the first one to talk about his look. "Katsuki. Ummm, when did you get so good at makeup?"

Katsuki turned to look at him. "My mom showed me how to do it. I like it. Is that a problem?"

Kariage shook his head. "No, you look great." He paused for a moment. "Are you happy dressing like this and doing the makeup thing?"

Katsuki nodded. "I am. I'm comfortable. I like dressing like a girl." That was the first time he said it out loud. It wasn't really the whole story either. It was way more than that, but Katsuki wasn't ready to discuss all of that yet.

Izuku smiled at him, and so did Kariage. "We're proud of you Kat."

Chapter Text

Katsuki was barely over thirteen when he started to really hate going through puberty. He had started around eleven, and he hated it then, but the more things that changed the more he hated everything.

Just last week he noticed his voice dropped again and he almost cried. He missed his lighter voice. His voice wasn't super deep, so he was thankful for that, but it was deep enough and he hated it. Then there was the body and facial hair. He loathed the little bit of stubble that was growing on his face and lip. It wasn't bad and he was lucky it was blonde hair, but it was still enough to upset him. He didn't want any facial hair, or body hair for that matter. He had started shaving daily. He shaved everything. Just the smallest sign of hair on his face drove him crazy.

The only thing that made him feel better about everything that was happening was getting to dress how he wanted to. His closet was full of clothes that made him happy. Dresses, skirts, blouses, tanks, yoga pants, sports bras. Just about anything he wanted, his mom made it for him. He even ditched his boxers recently and just started exclusively wearing panties. He couldn't describe it in words, it just made everything more bearable. He wanted to rip his skin off a little less when he dressed how he wanted.

The only people who knew about how he dressed was his mom, and his two best friends, Kariage and Izuku. None of them knew everything though. Katsuki had been questioning things. Why didn't he feel comfortable calling himself a boy? Why, when he forced himself to call himself a boy, did he want to scream in frustration? He thought wearing the clothes he wanted to wear would ease up the buzzing he felt underneath his skin, and for the most part they helped, but there was still something there. Why did he still feel like something was missing?

Katsuki was currently on his laptop looking up different names. He was just curious. He was just looking up different girl names. There were a lot of really pretty names that he liked. He was picturing different scenarios where someone would call him by these different names.

That's when the thought hit him. Did his mom have a name picked out for the possibility that he would have been born a girl?

He got up from his desk and went to find his mom. The two of them had grown closer in the last year. Katsuki got a lot more interested in clothes and makeup and his mom was happy to teach him about it all. It was something they bonded over. He moved through the house and eventually found her in her office. He knocked on the partially open door. "Hey mom."

She looked up from desk. "What is it KitKat?"

He played with the hem of the blouse he was wearing. "Did you have a name picked out for me in case I was born a girl?"

She sat the pen she had in her hand down on her desk and slid her glasses off. She gave him a analyzing gaze. There was fondness there, but it was a look that was searching for something. "I had several picked out for you before we knew you were going to be a boy. Why do you ask?"

Katsuki looked up at her, "What were they? I'm just curious."

A small smirk made its way to her face. "Just curious huh? You sure there's not anything else you want to tell me?"

He bit his lip. There were some things he really needed to talk about, but he just wasn't ready yet. Saying them out loud made them a reality. He shook his head. "No. I'm just curious."

Her smirk melted into a look of fondness. "Okay Katsuki." She leaned back in her chair, "Well one of the names we had picked out was Katsumi. Katsuki and Katsumi kind of go hand in hand. Then there was Misaki, that was your father's pick." They simultaneously scrunched up their noses at the mention of his father. His mother's smirk returned, "Then there was my pick. Yasha, meaning, night devil. Sounds powerful, plus even when I was just barely pregnant with you, I knew you were going to be a headstrong little shit. Just like your mother."

Katsuki smiled, "Yasha." He liked the sound of the name as it rolled off his tongue. It sounded pretty and it had meaning to his mom. He really liked that name. He looked at his mom again, "Thanks mom."

She gave him another searching look, "No problem KitKat." He went to walk away to go back to his room but she called out to him. "Katsuki." He turned to face her. She had picked up her pen and had sat the glasses back on her face. "If you ever need to talk to me. About anything, you know you can talk to me. Okay?"

He nodded his head. He knew he could. He just had to figure his own thoughts out first. "I know mom."

She nodded to him and he made his way back to his room.

Later that night Katsuki lay in bed, just staring at the ceiling. The name Yasha was swirling around in his head. He took a deep breath before letting it out. "My name, is Yasha." The buzzing underneath his skin let up just slightly and his stomach felt fluttery. Almost like he was going really fast over a big hill. He pictured his mom calling out Yasha for him to come down and get dinner. He pictured Kariage saying it as the taller boy smiled at him.

Yasha just felt right. He had never hated his name, Katsuki was an alright name, but he felt it never fully fit. Yasha was different. Yasha felt like it was meant to be his name.

Katsuki rolled over to his side. Only if he had been born a girl. So many things would just be better if he was just born a girl. He didn't cry very often because what kind of future number one hero spent all their time crying? Tonight though, he did cry. He cried because he was frustrated. He cried because he didn't understand why he felt like he did. He cried because things just didn't make sense. Why was he so easily upset at just being called a boy? Why did the term boy just not sit right with him? Why wouldn't the buzzing beneath his skin just go away? He cried because he just wanted to be a girl.

Katsuki was was a little over thirteen and a half when Mirko became his favorite hero, for a multitude of reasons.

It was a Saturday and Katsuki was lounging around the house after he had just spent hours training. He was waiting on a specific interview from the pro hero Miruko. She had always been one of his favorite heroes. He liked her attitude and how she got stuff done in her own way and by herself.

Recently, It had been leaked by someone that she was actually a trans woman. She had been bugged for an interview and today she was giving one.

Katsuki sat with his legs tucked under him as he leaned into the couch. He had his hair pulled back in a small ponytail. It was long enough now that it had to be pulled up when he trained. He sat with eager eyes as Miruko appeared on screen. She flopped in one of the chairs and grabbed a microphone. "I'm going to keep this short and sweet. Yes, I am a trans woman. I never said anything because it was nobody's business. It's my business and it has nothing to do with my capabilities being a hero. The only reason I'm doing this interview is because over the last few days I have gotten messages and people have left comments about how they're trans and they want to be a hero just like me. I've never been ashamed for who I am. Being trans is just a part of me, but if I can inspire other people who are like me, I will try my best."

She looked directly into the camera. "If you're out there and you're questioning yourself or you don't understand yourself or you're ashamed of yourself because you're trans, I promise it gets better. I know what it feels like to be scared and to be confused, to feel a buzzing beneath your skin that you just can't get rid of. I understand it, and I'm telling you right now, you can still be anything you want to be. You can be a hero or whatever you want to be. The first step is the hardest and that's accepting yourself, but just know, once you do, it will feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders."

She went to throw the microphone down, but she picked it back up again. "Just incase whoever got in my business in the first place wants to spread anymore of my business, I'll do it for you. I'm also a raging lesbian and I happen to be dating the hottest teacher alive." That's when she tossed the mic down and hopped off stage.

Katsuki sat stunned and stared at the television. Miruko understood the buzzing under the skin? She understood what if felt like to be confused? She understood all of it?

He had spent so long denying what he felt. He spent so long just hoping to have been born a girl. He wasn't born a girl, nothing would change that, but maybe that didn't mean he still wasn't a girl. Did what he feel like, is that what trans people felt like? He had spent so long thinking he couldn't be trans, that he was just confused and angry, but maybe he was just trans. Maybe he wasn't really a he.

"I'm a girl." The words rolled out of her mouth. "I'm a girl." It really felt like a weight lifted from her shoulders. She felt like she could finally breathe. The buzzing underneath her skin lessened and dulled. She had spent all this time denying who she was, just because she didn't know what she felt was okay to feel. Being told it was okay to feel how she felt was completely freeing. She didn't have to keep forcing herself to be a boy, because she wasn't a boy at all.

Katsuki ran to her mom's office where she knew she would find her mom. The door was partially open like it always was and Katsuki rapidly knocked. Her mom gave her a raised eyebrow. "Where's the fire?"

She played with her fingers and just blurted it out. "I'm a girl!"

Her mom gave her an amused look. "I'm proud of you for figuring it out KitKat."

She gave her mom a confused look. "You're not surprised?"

Mitsuki lightly laughed. "First you wanted to wear skirts and dresses, then you wanted to know about makeup, then you stop wearing any and all boys clothes unless it's your uniform or you have to go outside." She smirked. "Now, that doesn't mean anything for certain, but then you wanted to grow out your hair. Then there's getting livid about puberty, and shaving your face so much you cut your face several times. Then there was asking what you would have been named if you were born a girl, just because you were curious." She sat her pen down and looked at her. "Again, could all just be coincidences, but what's not a coincidence is seeing you be repulsed when someone calls you a boy. Also seeing you absolutely shine when someone 'mistakenly' calls you a girl out in the streets. I've watched you get so upset with yourself because you didn't understand why you couldn't just be born a girl. I watch out for you more than you think KitKat."

Katsuki blinked back tears. She didn't fear that her mom wouldn't accept her, but having her mom have already accepted her when she didn't know, it was making her emotional. Blinking away the tears didn't help though because the tears eventually started flowing. She wiped at her eyes, "Can you call me Yasha?"

Her mom stood up and came around the desk and embraced her in a hug. "I most certainly can, my little devil. I told you before that whatever or whoever you were would not change anything. I will always love you. I will always be your mom."

Yasha hiccuped as her mom wiped away one of her tears. "I love you too mom."

Her mom held her tight. "You'll always be my little girl." She buried her face in her mom's embrace and just let her mom hold her. She had never felt this at peace before.

The next day, Yasha called Kariage and Izuku and had them come over. She was going to tell them. They were her best friends, and she could trust them.

Yasha had done some makeup today. She had her mom help her so her face could look more feminine. She was pretty good at doing her own makeup, but sometimes she just needed her mom's help. She was wearing some black leggings with some short cutoff jean shorts over top of them. She paired that with one of her skull T shirts. She had gotten her mother to make her skull shirts again but this time in a more feminine cut.

She felt good. She stood in the mirror, and she had no desire to rip her skin off. The buzzing was still there but it was dull and she could deal with it. It wasn't as distracting.

There was a knock at the door so she went to go get it. It was Kariage and Izuku. She let them in and walked to the living room. She could feel a certain pair of eyes on her back and she knew for a fact they weren't Izuku's. She couldn't help but smile to herself. She loved when Kariage's attention was on her.

She sat down on the couch, tucking her legs under her. Kariage flopped down next to her and Izuku found a spot in his usual chair.

Now that they were there, she was nervous. She knew they would accept her, just like her mom did, but she was still nervous. She played with the fringe of her shorts. "I have something important to tell both of you, and what I tell you cannot leave the three of us until I'm ready. Got it?"

Izuku nodded, "Of course Kacchan. You know you can trust us."

Kariage nodded along too. "Kat, you know we'll always have your back."

She took a deep breath in and let it out. "I'm a girl. I'm trans."

Izuku absolutely beamed at her. "Like pro hero Miruko!?"

She lightly laughed at his eagerness. "Yes nerd, just like Miruko. She's the one that kind of helped me figure it all out. That speech she made helped me see I was just denying how I felt and that I was allowed to feel how I was feeling. She helped show me there was a reason I was feeling the way I was feeling. I was feeling that way, because I'm not a guy, I'm a girl."

Kariage smiled at her. "We're proud of you, and we're happy you found yourself. I can already tell you're a lot happier."

Izuku smiled a big grin at her. "Kariage is right. We're really happy for you. You seem more at peace."

Yasha couldn't help but grin at her friends. "I am happier. I feel alive. I feel free and less angry. I know there's going to be a lot I have to deal with, but I'll deal with it head on. Nothing is going to stop me. I'm going to be just like Miruko. I'm going to be a pro hero and be myself, more than that, I'm going to be number one."

Izuku raised his hand like they were in a classroom setting. He always did that. She playfully rolled her eyes. "Izuku?"

He played with the bottom of his shirt. "Is Kacchan okay or do have something else you would want me to call you?"

She had to think about that. She wanted to go by Yasha, but she didn't mind Kacchan either, at least when it came to Izuku. It was what Izuku had always called her. "Kacchan is just fine, but I am changing my name. I want to go by Yasha from now on."

Kariage smiled at her, his hand ended up on her knee. "Yasha is a really pretty name."

Yasha could feel herself blush. "T..Thanks Kari."

Izuku laughed, "Kacchan. Your cheeks are really pink." She grabbed a pillow and threw it at him in retaliation for calling her out. He easily dodged it and chuckled again. The nerd always tried to embarrass her in front of Kariage. She should have never told him about her crush.

That's when her mom walked into the room. She looked straight at her. "You tell them?"

Yasha nodded as she smiled. "Yeah. They know."

Her mom nodded. Her smile easily transformed into a withering glare and she aimed it at Izuku and Kariage. "You boys better respect my daughter for who she is. You're both good boys so I know you will, but I get word otherwise and we'll have a problem. Got it?" She glared at Izuku, but her glare seemed to linger on Kariage a little longer.

Both of them gulped and nodded and promised they would treat her right. Yasha couldn't help but giggle behind her hand. Her mom winked at her before leaving the room.

Kariage nervously chuckled. "I forget how scary your mom can be Yasha."

Yasha absolutely preened at hearing him say her name so easily. She really was happy and she felt so right in her skin.

The three of them ended up playing Mario Kart for a while. As she played, Yasha couldn't help but just randomly smile at times. She felt good and she felt happy. She knew there was a lot to come, but in this moment, she could just enjoy finally being herself.

Notes:

Our girl has found herself! I absolutely adore the name I picked out for her, I'm really happy with it!

Chapter Text

The first time Yasha went outside in anything feminine was for her entrance exam for Yuuei. It wasn't anything crazy, just some sneakers, leggings, and one of her skull shirts, but she still looked overall feminine. Her mom had signed her up under Yasha and if she got accepted, she was totally going to be accepted, into Yuuei, then her mom would talk to the principal about her being trans. That way she could be called Yasha by her teachers and wear the girls uniform.

She really didn't want to come out to people unless she got close enough to tell them. She shouldn't have to tell anyone. She was a girl, that's it, she's just a girl.

Yasha entered to where she was told to go for the entrance exam. It was packed with people. Her phone buzzed in her hand so she checked it as she weaved through people. She had two messages. One from her mom telling her she was going to be the best out there and one from Kariage telling her she was amazing and would do just fine. Her chest warmed at their words. She knew she was going to do great, she had to, but getting those messages made her know for sure she would get accepted by a landslide.

She was just about to message Izuku to see where he was, but he found her first. She heard, "Kacchan!" She looked up to see a mop of green hair making its way to her. Izuku stopped in front of her and smiled. "You look great Kacchan. You nervous? I'm nervous."

She knew why he was nervous. He had already let it slip to her about his situation with All Might. She was proud Deku had a quirk. He's the only person other than her that she knows that wants to be a hero as bad as she does. Izuku had rambled on the day before about how he still didn't have control over the quirk. She looked at him, "Izuku. We're both going to do just fine. We're both going to be accepted. No chance they'll deny us."

She wasn't nervous about getting accepted, she knew she would get in. She was more nervous about passing. She was in a good mood and she really didn't want someone to misgender her. Hopefully everything would be fine.

The two of them were waiting for the exam to start when they were approached by some other kids. One was a bright red headed kid with sharp teeth and a big smile. Then there was the girl next to him who had horns, black eyes, and her skin was pink. The red haired kid smiled at them. "Hey! I'm Eijirou Kirishima!"

Then the pink girl spoke up. She had an extremely bubbly personality. "I'm Mina Ashido! What's your names?"

Izuku beamed a smile back at him. Izuku had always been the extrovert of their little group. Kariage was somewhere in the middle and she was more introverted if she was being honest. Izuku waved. "I'm Izuku Midoriya!"

They looked towards her. She nodded at them. "My name's Yasha Bakugou. Call me Yasha."

Izuku was looking them over. She knew exactly what he was going to ask. "What're your quirks?" Yasha had to suppress a snort. She knew Izuku too well.

Mina held her hand up and some kind of substance started to leak from her fingers. Just enough so a few droplets fell in the concrete. The concrete started to sizzle. "I secrete acid from my hands! It will eat through anything except human skin." She wiped her hand on her shirt. "I have to special order my clothes to be acid proof."

Yasha knew that all too well. She had to order a lot of things that were explosion proof. Ashido had a strong quirk. She was impressed. Kirishima smiled. "Mine's called sturdy." He flexed his arms and they became rigid like a rock. "I'm really good at being a human shield. I wish it had more flashy uses. I'm kind of a big rock."

Yasha couldn't help but scoff. She immediately didn't like him talking bad about himself. She hates it when Izuku did it as well. "Shut up. It's a cool quirk and I can think of plenty of real world scenarios were it would be useful."

Kirishima looked at her and smiled. He looked at the floor. "Thank you." He grinned at her again. "What're your quirks?"

Yahsa couldn't help but smirk. She popped a little explosion in her hand. Drawing the eyes of others nearby. "I produce explosions from my hands."

Ashido manicly grinned, "That's super cool! We kind of have similar quirks!" She frowned, "Do people judge you on yours? They do mine."

Yasha frowned as well, "Yeah they do. My explosions will go through anything. It's a good and bad thing."

Yasha really hit it off with Ashido and it seemed Izuku and Kirishima were hitting it off well too. Izuku was flapping his hands and talking quickly and Kirishima seemed to happily be following along. She really wasn't going into this to look for friends, but Ashido and Kirishima seemed alright. She wouldn't mind having them as friends.

Soon it was time for the entrance exam to start. Yasha and Izuku were separated. She sent a smirk his way. "We're going to be just fine."

Izuku nodded. "We will Kacchan."

By then end of the next hour, Yasha had the top score in points by defeating villains. She smirked as she made her way out of the arena. There was no way she wasn't getting accepted into Yuuei. Not with a score like that. Even though she had no doubt she would be accepted, it would eat at the back of her mind for the next week until she heard if she was actually accepted or not.

Izuku only defeated one robot, but he did it to save someone, so he had the most savior points. She couldn't help but smile. There was no way they would turn down Izuku either, even if he didn't have full control over his quirk yet. They would just have to wait and see though.

Kariage stopped over later that evening. As soon as she opened the door she jumped into his arms. He swung her around in a hug. Her heart was beating wildly as he had his arms wrapped around her. He smiled down at her. "How'd it go today?"

She smiled up at him. "Pretty good. I got the most villain points and Izuku got the most savior points. There's no way we're not getting in." She took a breath and paused before continuing. "Nobody seemed to say anything or look at me weird, and Izuku and I talked to two other kids there and they both called me Yasha with no problems."

Kariage grinned at her, "I'm so proud of you."

She didn't know what possessed her to do what she did next. It may have been the adrenaline of the day, or maybe she was just tired of crushing on him and not doing anything about it, either way, she stood on her tippy toes and kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you Kari."

He stood there for a moment with a hand on his cheek. It was only a few seconds, but internally she was freaking out. She thought he liked her, maybe she had misread the signals. As she was internally freaking out, he leaned down and lightly kissed her on the lips. It was a quick peck and it was awkward because they bumped noses and also kind of weird because of his lip ring, but it was still her first kiss and it made her stomach fill with butterflies and her cheeks got really warm.

He kept his arms wrapped around her and leaned his forehead against hers. "You're adorable when you're flustered."

She lightly headbutted him. "Shut up, jerk. S'your fault." She took her shot. "I really like you Kari."

He pressed a light kiss to her forehead. "I like you too Yasha. A lot."

She happily smiled up at him. "Be my boyfriend?"

A massive grin split his face. "I would love to be your boyfriend." He then smirked, "Your mom isn't going to kill me is she?"

Yasha playfully rolled her eyes, "She may threaten you a few times, but she likes you. She's been calling you my boyfriend for years now."

He brushed some of her hair behind her ears, "You sure you want this delinquent showing up to the Yuuei campus to walk you home?"

She lightly smacked his arm. "You are not a delinquent, a smartass maybe, but not a delinquent. You're studying to be a teacher. Besides I like the way you are and I'd love for you to walk me home from school."

He smiled, "Good, I get to show off my pretty girlfriend then."

She blushed again. She really liked being called his girlfriend. Plus he really thought she was pretty? "You really think I'm pretty?"

He grabbed her hands and lightly squeezed them. "You are so beautiful Yasha. You've always been the girl of my dreams."

Her cheeks flushed even more. She was probably red to the tip of her ears. She playfully headbutted his chest this time. He knew exactly how to fluster her. She fondly mumbled out, "Jerk."

She smirked at her. "Yeah, but I'm yours now." He was, and she wouldn't complain about that.

He shed his denim jacket off his shoulders. He then slipped it on her shoulders. "Here, you keep it. It'll look better on you."

She couldn't help but smile. She knew how much he loved that jacket. It had buttons and patches all over it from different bands and all kind of things. It had little cigarette burns on it. It also just smelled like Kariage. It smelled like home. "You sure? This is your favorite jacket."

He smiled fondly at her. "I've never been more sure if anything."

Yasha smiled up at him. "Thank you."

A week later she received her message from Yuuei. She sat with her mom as she played the holographic message. She sat there gripping the couch until she heard the words from All Might himself. "Young Bakugou! You have been accepted to join the prestigious Yuuei high!"

Her mom was instantly pulling her into an embrace. "I knew you could do it! Bakugou's don't lose. That's my girl."

Yasha was grinning ear to ear. "Thanks mom." Holy shit she did it. She was going to Yuuei. She had been dreaming of Yuuei since she had gotten her quirk. She had been hopeful she would get in, but actually hearing it was different.

She grabbed her phone to message Kariage and Izuku, but she noticed she already had a message from Izuku. "I got in! Have you heard anything yet?" She smiled. She knew he would get in.

She responded to him and sent Kariage a message too. Other than finally finding out she was a girl, this was the best day of her life so far.

Yasha was fifteen, almost sixteen when she started Yuuei. She had to come in a day before she started to talk to the principal and her teachers.

Yasha happily walked down the hall in a dark green skirt and a black tanktop. She only wore tanktops when she wore her padded bra. She also had Kariage's demim jacket on. The principal had been made aware of her situation and so had her teachers, but the principal still asked her to come in. Plus she had to pick up her uniform. She was so ready to wear the girls uniform.

Her and her mother walked into the office. She didn't know what to expect, but when she walked in, Principal Nezu greeted them by waving a paw. Around him were several teachers and All Might. She knew who most of them were because she was honestly as big of a hero nerd as Izuku. There was Eraserhead, one of the best underground heroes to exist. Then there was Present Mic, Midnight, and Ectoplasm. She wondered who was teaching what and who would be her homeroom teacher.

Yasha and her mom took a seat. Principal Nezu interlaced his paws. "Thank you for coming in to discuss everything. I asked you both to come in to personally tell you that Yasha will be respected here. All of her teachers have talked and none of us are going to disclose anything to anyone else. She will be able to use the girls changing rooms. We will not force her to change alone or with the boys, because she is a young lady. I will pass it off to her homeroom teacher, Eraser."

Yasha was so happy to sit there and listen to the principal assure her she would be respected here. Plus she got to use the girls changing room. She had been nervous she would be forced to change with the boys. She was also excited that her homeroom teacher was Eraserhead. He was legit one of the best underground heroes out there. She was looking forward to learning from him, even if she did hear he could be an asshole sometimes.

Eraser cleared his throat. He spoke in a tired and sluggish voice. "Like Nezu stated, I am your homeroom teacher plus I teach first year history. You will be respected in my classroom. I will always make sure of it. Do you prefer to go by your first name or does it matter? I already have one student who has preferred to go by her first name, so if you do I will make note of it."

Yasha nodded along, "I do prefer to go by Yasha, my first name. Bakugou is fine, but I prefer Yasha."

He nodded at her. He may be hidden behind his scarf and acting stoic, but she could see the uptick of his lips. "Noted. You'll call me Eraserhead or Aizawa Sensei or just Sensei. Whichever you prefer."

All Might puffed out his chest. "I'm proud you are here young Yasha. You have the makings of a great young hero!"

Yasha couldn't help but beam at him. She just got complimented by All Might. She felt like she could take on the world.

Then her Sensei tossed her a package. "Your uniforms. Should be several of everything you need in there."

She felt giddy. She was so ready to wear the uniform. "Thank you."

A few moments later her and her mom were walking down the hallway towards the exit. Her mom pulled her into her, "I'm so proud of you baby girl."

Yasha smiled up at her mom. "Thank you mom."

Her mom was grinning, "I also have a surprise for you."

She raised an eyebrow, "A surprise?"

Her mom nodded, "You know how you've been in therapy for the last year?"

She nodded. "Yeah, I need to be in therapy before I can see a gender specialist. What's going on?"

Her mom smiled, "You may have an appointment with a gender specialist next month."

Yasha came to a stop. "Are you serious?"

Her mom stopped and smirked at her. "Deadly."

Yasha threw herself into her mother's embrace. "Thank you! I can't believe this. Will I be able to start blockers or estrogen?"

Her mom gave her a fond smile. "We'll have to see what they say, but there's a good chance."

She couldn't believe it. "Holy shit." It was actually happening. She was finally going to see a gender specialist.

Her mom threaded her arm through hers, "Now come on, let's go so you can tell your boyfriend the news."

Yasha playfully rolled her eyes. "Don't tease me."

They walked out of the school. Her future was looking pretty good at the moment. She had a great boyfriend and things were going good there, she was starting her career at Yuuei tomorrow, and now she finds out she has appointment with a gender specialist and maybe able to start hormones soon. She was on top of the world at the moment.

I hope everyone enjoys the new chapter!

Mitsuki and Inko were highschool sweethearts. I will not be told otherwise.

Stay safe my friends.

Chapter Text

Yasha's morning was an interesting one, and she hadn't even left for her first day at Yuuei yet.

Yasha was finishing up putting on her uniform. She liked the way the uniform looked on her and it felt right wearing it. It felt perfect. She struck a pose and took a few pictures for Kariage.

She sent them to him and he immediately responded. "There's my beautiful girl. Looking good in that is uniform. I'll pick you up after school and walk you home. <3"

She smiled as she messaged him back. She was excited for him to pick her up from school.

As she was walking out of her room and messaging Kariage, her mom called her from the bottom of the stairs. "Yasha, honey, do you got a minute?"

Yasha scrunched up her nose in thought. What could her mom need to talk to her about that warranted that kind of question? She had plenty of time to get to school so it wasn't like she didn't have time to talk. It just struck her as odd. It must be something important. She responded as she made her way down the stairs, "Yeah, what's up?"

Yasha walked into her living room to find Izuku and Inko sitting on the couch. She looked to Izuku, "What's going on?"

Izuku shook his head, "I have no idea Kacchan."

Inko stood and walked over to stand by her mom. Yasha didn't miss how their fingers interlaced together. What was happening here? Yasha looked at her mom. "Mom, what's going on?"

Her mom smiled at her, "Honey. Inko and I have something important to tell the both of you. Do you both remember when we told you we were highschool sweethearts?"

Yasha nodded, "Yeah, but you had to break up because your mom was a massive bitch about the whole thing." As Yasha watched Inko stroke the back of her mom's hand, she put the pieces together. "Are you two getting back together?"

She could see the way her mom smiled and looked down at Inko. She could see the love there. Her mom looked back at her, "Yes, we are. I love Inko with everything I have and I won't lose her again."

Yasha couldn't help but smile a little. Inko was already like a second mom to her, and she knew how much her mom loved Inko. There had only been a handful of times that Yasha had ever seen her mom cry, and one of those times was when she caught her mom looking at pictures of her and Inko from the past. She just wanted her mom to be happy.

She smiled at her mom. "I'm happy for you two."

Izuku jumped up and was smiling brightly. "Me too!" Izuku turned those bright green eyes at her. "It'll be like we're siblings!"

Yasha snorted. "We are already basically siblings, nerd."

Izuku stuck his tongue out at her. "Dork."

She playfully scoffed. "Who the hell are you calling a dork?"

Inko interrupted their playful bickering. "Izuku, Yasha. Mitsuki and I plan to get married down the line. You would officially be step siblings."

Izuku was grinning ear to ear and Yasha couldn't help but smirk at him. If she had to pick anyone to be her brother, she's glad it's Izuku.

It wasn't long before they had to leave to catch the train to school. As her and Izuku were walking out the door, she looked back to see her mom leaning down to kiss Inko. She was happy for her mom and Inko. They deserved to be happy.

Her and Izuku walked to the train station and then rode the train to Yuuei.

The two of them walked towards their class. They were in the same class, class 1-A. As they walked she noticed Izuku look and smile at her. "How does the uniform feel?"

Yasha smiled as she played with the blouse of her uniform. "It feels right. It feels like I'm supposed to wear it."

The two of them made it to their class and she opened the door. They were instantly met with curious gazes. A brown headed girl with round cheeks waved. Yasha didn't know her so Izuku must know her.

Her and Izuku made their way into class. The brown headed girl and a tall guy with glasses walked up to them. Izuku pointed at the girl, "Kacchan, this is Uraraka." He then pointed to the guy with glasses. "This is Iida. I met them at the entrance exam. Uraraka, Iida, this is my best friend Kacchan."

Yasha gave them a little wave. "My real name is Yasha Bakugou. Call me Yasha."

Uraraka had a wide grin. "You're best friends with Midoriya?"

Yasha nodded. "We've been friends since we were three. Our moms are actually getting married sometime, so we'll be siblings."

"You have two moms too?" Yasha felt like that voice was familiar. She turned to see Kirishima and Ashido walking into class. Kirishima grinned. "I didn't mean to eavesdrop. It's just always cool meeting others with two moms."

Izuku waved, "Hi Ashido, Hi Kirishima. Yeah, our moms got together. They were together in highschool and just got back together."

Ashido came up to her and Yasha let a small smile come to her face. She grinned at the pinkette, "Hey Pinky."

Ashido smiled at her. "Hey girlie. I love your nails." Yasha smiled down at her dark purple nails. Kariage had helped paint them.

Yasha grinned, "My boyfriend helped paint them."

Ashido squealed, "You have a boyfriend?"

She nodded, "He's meeting me here at the end of the day. You could probably meet him."

Yasha liked Ashido. She liked the girls attitude. It was opposite hers and she seemed to like that about the pinkette.

She let the conversation carry on without her. She started looking around the class at the other students that were there. Her eyes landed on a really tall kid. He was as tall as Kariage and a lot more muscular. He wore a mask and had six arms. He was talking to another student who had a bird head. A shadow seemed to be swirling around him, like it was talking to him.

Her vision scanned over to a tall girl with a ponytail. She remembered this girl. Yaoyorozu. She got in on recommendations alone. Only one other kid had only gotten in on recommendations. Endeavors son, but she didn't see him around yet. Yaoyorozu was talking to a shorter girl that had headphone jacks hanging from her ears. The shorter girl was shyly smiling and had a blush on her face. Yasha knew that look, the shorter girl was already crushing on the taller girl.

She looked a little to her right and there was a short kid who looked like he head purple balls on his head. He was looking intensely at Yaoyorozu. Yasha got an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach. She'd have to keep an eye on that boy. She immediately didn't trust him.

She watched the class fill up until a bell chimed and in shuffled Aizawa Sensei. He already looked exhausted and the day had just begun. He sighed, "Alright, here's the seating arrangement."

Her first day was mainly testing their quirks. She was given free reign to use her quirk and she loved it. She could hear the others whispering about her. How powerful she was. How good she was. She couldn't help but smirk. She was going to be the future number one. It was only a matter of time.

She didn't want to be known as Yasha, the trans girl. She wanted to be known as Yasha, the future number one hero, who just happened to be trans.

After the day ended, she made her way out of class with Izuku. Aizawa Sensei nodded at her as she walked by. She wasn't fooled, she could see the slight uptick of his lips and that made her proud.

She walked with Izuku, but soon Uraraka and Iida fell in step with them. Soon so did Ashido and another girl that was in their class, Hagakure. They walked out and towards the gate. Hagakure spoke, "Whoa, who is that?"

Yasha followed to where he sleeve was pointing. She was pointing to a tall kid with a long undercut. He had his lip and eyebrow pierced and there was a stick and poke tattoo peeking out under his jacket sleeve. It was none other than her Kariage.

She smiled, "That's Kariage, that's my boyfriend."

She took off running and threw herself into him. He caught her with a quiet grunt and he laughed. "There's my girl. How was your first day?" He leaned down to whisper in her ear, "Did anyone mess with you?"

She smiled and shook her head. "Everything was fine. I got to show off my quirk today."

He grinned, "Hell yeah, you show 'em who's going to be the future number one?"

She felt her cheeks heat up as she blushed. She nodded. He slipped an arm around her as they turned towards the others. He waved his lanky arm, "Hey Izuku."

Izuku beamed and waved back. "Hey Kariage. Kacchan's mom and mine are together now. We're going to be siblings."

Kariage looked down at her with wide eyes. She shrugged. "We just found out this morning. I'll explain later."

Kariage kissed the top of her head and lightly laughed, "Okay. You make some more friends?"

She shrugged. The only one she really counted as a friend so far was Ashido. She pointed to everyone there, "The invisible one is Hagakure. Pink cheeks is Uraraka. Glasses is Iida. Then the pink one is Ashido."

Ashido looked like a kid in a candy store. "So you're the boyfriend. Yasha talks about you a lot. You're so tall. If you don't go to school here, what are you studying to be?"

Yasha playfully rolled her eyes at Ashido's rapid fire way of speaking. Kariage scratched the back of his head, "Umm, I am the boyfriend. I'm studying to be a middle school teacher. Our middle school sucked, so I want to be a better teacher than what we had."

Iida looked slack jawed, "You're going to be a teacher?"

Kariage chuckled, "I know, I don't look like the stereotype of someone who wants to be a teacher. I want to be a teacher though. I'm just not going to be cookie cutter."

Yasha couldn't help but smirk. Nobody ever believed Kariage would make it as a teacher, but she knew her boyfriend. She knew how serious he was about becoming a teacher. She knew he would too.

They eventually separated for the day. Her, Kariage, Izuku, and Ashido walked towards the trains station. The three of them didn't ride the train, they walked, but the train Ashido rode was on their way home .

As they walked, Ashido bumped her shoulder on the side where she wasn't holding Kariage's hand. "We should totally have a sleep over sometime."

An idea of a sleepover excited Yasha. She would finally get her chance to have some more girl experiences. Ashido was cool, she wouldn't mind spending some time with just the pinkette. Yasha nodded, "I'll have to talk to my mom, but she shouldn't care. We can do it this weekend if you're free." She thought about it for a moment, "Izuku might be there because his mom may be over, but I have my own room."

If anyone would be moving, it would be Izuku and Inko. Yasha and her mom had their own home and they had an extra room that could be Izuku's. That way they wouldn't have to rent their apartment anymore either.

Izuku smiled, "I wouldn't bother you. I have so much to document about everyone's quirks. It's going to take me a while, I'll be busy with that. Plus I want Kacchan to have her girl time."

Kariage clapped Izuku on the shoulder, "Maybe we'll go catch a movie or something. Sound good Izuku?"

Izuku smiled and nodded. "That sounds great!"

-

Mitsuki threaded her hand through Inko's hair. The two had taken the day off from their respective jobs to spend the day together. Mitsuki knew Inko had to be getting home because Izuku would be home soon, but she just didn't want her to leave yet.

She knew that it was silly because Inko would literally be moving in soon, but it had been so long since she had been able to run her hand through Inko's hair and kiss her lips. She just couldn't get enough.

Mitsuki rolled so she was on top of Inko and straddled her waist. Inko smiled up at her. "Mitsy, I really have to get going. Izuku will be home soon. Let me talk to him and we'll come spend the night soon. I'll let him know we're setting up a room for him here and see how he likes the idea. I know he won't mind, but I still need to run it by him."

Mitsuki didn't want Inko to leave yet, but she knew the other woman was right. Plus they had all the time in the world now. Mitsuki never planned to let Inko get away again. She'd be lost without Inko in her life like this again.

She leaned down to give Inko another kiss. Probably the hundredth one they had shared today. Inko hummed as she reciprocated the kiss.

She slid off of Inko so she could walk her lover to the door. Mitsuki felt herself pout. "You haven't even left yet and I already miss you."

Inko gently smiled. "I miss you too. I'll see you tomorrow though. Let me talk to Izuku about everything and I'll see you tomorrow. Soon we won't have to be apart even in the evenings anymore."

Mitsuki felt like she was in highschool again. Memories of nights together and memories of having to break up with Inko the first time made tears come to her eyes. She didn't let them fall, but they were present. She sniffled, "Promise?"

Inko cradled her face softly. "Oh, my Mitsuki, I promise. We'll never be apart like that again. There's no way I'm letting you go a second time. Our families won't like it, but that doesn't matter. You, me, Izuku, and Yasha. That's all that matters. I love you Mitsuki."

She let out a shakey exhale, "I love you too Inko. So much."

Inko smiled at her as they said their goodbyes for the time being. She settled herself as she watched Inko walk down the street. She loved that woman with all of her heart. She was going to do everything in her power to make her happy.

She watched as Inko turned around and blew her a kiss. Smiling now, she returned the gesture.

Yeah, she loved that woman.

Chapter Text

Yasha kissed Kariage goodbye and happily waved bye to Izuku and Kariage and ran into her house. She smiled at her mom, but she could instantly tell her mom had been crying. "Mom, what's wrong?"

Her mom wiped her eyes and smiled at her. "Everything's fine dear. Inko just left a few minutes ago and it just hit me hard. I've missed her for so long." She took a breath. "I didn't get the chance to ask you this morning. Are you okay with Izuku and Inko moving in? This is up to you too."

Yasha went over and hugged her mom. "I don't mind if they move in. We have the room and you and Inko won't have to be apart anymore. You deserve to be happy. Plus it's Izuku, I'm happy with him living here. He has a savior complex, so I need to keep my eye on him."

Her mom hugged her tightly back. "I'm glad you're okay with it. They'll probably start moving in next week." Her mom released her and smiled at her. "So, how was school? Make any new friends?"

Yasha slipped off her backpack. "School was good. I got to use my quirk and show off."

Mitsuki smirked at her, "You show them punks who's going to be number one?"

Yasha smirked back, "You know I did. I also made a new friend today. Her name's Mina Ashido. She's got an acid quirk. She actually wanted to know if she could sleep over this weekend, is that okay?"

Her mom's smirk melted into a smile. "I'm glad you made a new friend, dear. Inko and Izuku will probably be here this weekend, but yeah, you can have a sleepover. I'm not going to deny you your first sleepover." She snorted, "Well your first sleepover that isn't Izuku."

She pumped her fist. She was excited. It would be her first teen girl experience, but then a thought hit her. Was it wrong for Ashido to spend the night if the pinkette didn't know she was trans? Was that somehow taking advantage of Ashido?

She looked over at her mom. "Do you think I should tell her I'm trans? Is it like taking advantage of her in some way by not telling her?"

Her mom gave her a stern look. "Yasha. You are a teenage girl having another teenage girl over for a sleepover. You are not taking advantage of anyone. You are just being yourself. If you want to tell her because she's your friend and you trust her, that is different, but do not feel like you have to. Understand?"

She nodded, "I understand mom."

Her mom's look melted into a soft smile. "You're just being you Yasha. There's nothing wrong with that."

Yasha smiled back, "You're right."

Ashido had given out her number so Yasha sent her a message later that evening telling the pinkette she was able to come over and they worked out the details for Saturday.

The next few days of school were pretty uneventful. They just did basic school work in the morning and messed around with their quirks in the afternoons. Yasha was having fun though. She got to show off and show people how good she was with her quirk. She was one of the most advanced in the class with her quirk. All Might even told her so on Friday after a mock trial run of Heroes and Villains. She felt on top of the world for the rest of that day.

Her hero, the man she admired most, told her she was doing great with her quirk and would make a great hero. Nobody could wipe the grin off her face for the rest of Friday.

Kariage waited for her by the gates Friday afternoon and kissed her as she ran into his arms. Her, Kariage, Izuku, and Ashido all walked together from school. Her and Izuku gushed over All Might to him as they walked.

As they walked, the topic of her sleepover came up. Ashido grinned at her, "I'm so excited for this weekend. I love sleepovers!"

Yasha grinned, "I am too, it's my first one."

Ashido stopped, "It's your first sleepover? We have to make this special. We're going to do everything. Paint each other's nails, do makeup, gossip and talk about boys." Ashido snorted, "Well, and girls for me."

Yasha playfully rolled her eyes, "Me too Pinky. I'm pan."

Ashido squealed, "Me too! Girls are just so pretty."

Yasha would agree with that. Girls were pretty. One of them happened to be standing next to her. Ashido was one of the prettiest girls Yasha had ever seen. She was unique and was just so beautiful.

The pink girl made Yasha confused. She had a boyfriend, Kariage, and the pinkette was her first real girl friend, but she also felt attracted to Ashido. Was it because they had grown so close in such a short time and she just thought Ashido was pretty or was it a crush? Did that make her a bad person if she had a boyfriend that she really cared about but also had a crush on someone else? She sometimes hated having feelings, they could be exhausting.

Ashido hooked their arms together as they walked and she shook her head to clear her thoughts. It was just because Mina was pretty. Nothing more.

As they walked, Yasha didn't miss the way Kariage and Izuku smiled at each other. She knew they were happy for her making a new friend that she was close to.

They had to separate when Ashido had to get on her train. She waved. "I'll message you when I get home, Yasha. See you tomorrow."

Yasha waved at her friend, then her, Izuku, and Kariage started walking towards their homes. Izuku was staying at her house tonight, well their house. They were going to be living together. This was the first official night Izuku and Inko would be staying and living with them.

Her and Izuku had worked on setting up his room the past couple days after school. They weren't officially moved in yet but they had enough of their stuff where they could stay.

The three of them stopped outside of her house. She fell into Kariage's embrace and he held her tight. She rested her chin on his chest and looked up at him. He was smiling down at her. He ran a hand through her hair, "I hope you have a good time tomorrow. The pink one seems really nice."

Yasha smiled up at him. "She is. I'm excited for my first sleepover."

Kariage leaned down and she stood on her tippy toes to kiss him. He gently brushed his nose against hers after they separated. "I'm happy for you baby."

Yasha's face went red immediately. That was the first time he had used any pet names for her. She liked it, a lot. It made her chest bloom with warmth. She stuttered out, "B..Baby?"

He grinned at her, "Is that okay?"

She eagerly nodded her head. "Y..Yes."

He kissed the tip of her nose. "Okay, baby."

As soon as he was walking away, Izuku started giving her shit. He snickered, "Okay, baby."

Yasha lightly shoved him. "S..Shut up." Gods she was a flustered mess. Over one simple pet name that her boyfriend had called her.

The two of them went inside and he teased her the entire way.

Neither of their parents were home yet, but they both had homework and Yasha always did her homework when she first got home, so Izuku made his way to his room and she made her way to her room.

When their moms got home, they actually went out for dinner as a family. Her, her mom, Inko, and Izuku. Yasha couldn't help but smile through dinner as she watched her mom sneak glances at Inko and hold her hand every chance she got. It was good to see this side of her mom when she could. A legitimately happy side.

Later that night she sent a message to Ashido, reminding the pinkette to be at her house at the time they agreed on. She was excited for the sleepover and to hang out with Ashido.

Most of Saturday morning and into the afternoon blew by. There was a knock on the door around three and she knew it was Ashido. She was wearing a pair of leggings and one of her skull shirts. Her standard look for when she was at home. She opened the door to unveil a bouncing Ashido.

Ashido squealed, "Yasha!"

Before she could even welcome the pink girl into her home, she was tackled into a hug. Yasha let out a quiet grunt and after a few moments, embraced her friend back.

Ashido stepped back and happily stomped her feet. "I'm so excited!"

Yasha couldn't help but smile at her friend's bubbly nature. "I am too."

Yasha heard her mom call from inside the kitchen. "Honey, is that your friend?"

She turned towards the kitchen, "Yeah!" She turned back towards Ashido, "Want to meet my moms?"

Ashido nodded. The two of them went into the kitchen where her mom and Inko were. Yasha pointed at them. "Ashido, these are my moms. Mom, Inko, this is Mina Ashido. She's in class with me and Izuku." Yasha didn't miss the way Inko's face lit up when she introduced her as one of her moms.

Ashido bowed, "Nice to meet both of you."

Yasha could see her mom smirk, "It's nice to meet you too dear, but don't worry about all the formalities. We are not a formal household. You can call me Mitsuki."

Inko politely smiled, "It is nice to meet a friend of Yasha's and Izuku's. You can call me Inko."

Yasha watched as her mom silently tested Ashido. It was just how her mom was. Her mom could be extra protective when she wanted to be. By the end, Yasha smiled because she could tell that her mom liked Ashido. Her friend has passed the test.

Mitsuki grinned and grabbed Inko's hand, "Well, you two have fun. I know Yasha is excited for your sleepover. Dinner will be in a few hours."

Yasha grabbed Ashido's bag for her and the two of them made their way up to her room.

She opened the door and let Ashido explore around her room. She kept her room neat and organized. She had went from having hero posters all over the walls to having just a few. She also wanted her room to have a nice and soft feminine feel so she had traded the blacks and reds for pinks and whites and soft furniture and lighting. Her favorite was her comforter and pillows. She had gone with the fluffiest and softest bed set she could find. Her bed was her safety space.

Ashido grinned and looked at her. "Your room matches you. Cute and adorable, but straight to the point. I like it."

Yasha felt her face heat up at the compliment. Nobody other than her mom, Izuku, and Kariage had been in her room, and nobody other than her mom and Kariage called her cute. She shyly smiled, "Thanks."

Ashido turned to look at her and widely grinned, "it's your first sleepover. What do you want to do first?"

Yasha knew what she wanted to do first. She wanted to come out to Ashido. She didn't feel like she had to anymore after her talk with her mom, but she still wanted to. She took a deep breath, "First, I have something important to tell you that you can not breathe a word to anyone else about, very few people know, okay?"

She could see Ashido grow serious. "I love gossip, but I am great at keeping secrets, I promise."

Yasha took a deep breath again and let it out. "I'm a trans girl. I didn't fully understand I was a girl until several years ago. I always felt different, but I didn't know for sure until a few years ago. I finally get to see a gender specialist next month, so hopefully I'll be able to start hormones soon."

Yasha wouldn't admit it, but she was nervous as she waited for Ashido's reaction. Ashido looked at her and a wide smile stretched out over her face. Before she could react, Ashido had tackled her into a hug. She wasn't prepared so they both tumbled to the floor in a fit of giggles.

Ashido laced their hands together. "Thank you for being so open with me and trusting me. I won't tell a soul."

Yasha smiled, but a pang of self doubt made her slightly frown. "You still think I'm a real girl right?"

Ashido's look turned serious again, "You most certainly are a real girl. You're as real as me or any other girl. Being trans doesn't mean you're not a real and valid girl." The pinkette looked like she was thinking for a moment. "Is that why you've never had a sleepover before?"

Yasha nodded, "The only person that has ever slept over is Izuku and he's always been like my brother, now he literally is. Kariage's mom is kind of paranoid so she doesn't let him stay anywhere. They've always been my only friends. We've been friends since we were little, none of us are great at making friends. You're my first friend I've made in a long time."

Ashido squeezed her hand. "Well I'm glad to be your friend, and we are going to make sure this sleepover is the absolute best one ever."

Their tender moment ended and they decided on painting their nails first. Yasha had cleaned her nails of previous polish so Ashido could paint them tonight. She decided on an orange. Orange had always been her favorite color.

- Downstairs

Mitsuki was finishing up dinner when her phone began to ring. She checked it and almost dropped the plates she had in her hand. Inko must have seen her fumble the plates. "Mitsy, what's wrong?"

She looked down at her phone. Her father was calling. She hadn't talked to her parents in years. They didn't get along. That's why they haven't been told about Yasha or her relationship with Inko. Her parents were intolerant, mainly her mother, but her father wasn't much better. "My father is calling."

She picked up the phone. Maybe someone had died. That had to be the only reason he'd call. Against her better judgment, she answered the phone. "Father?"

It wasn't her father on the other end. It was her mother. "I knew you'd pick up for him before you picked up the phone for me. How dare you."

Mitsuki pinched the bridge of her nose. "What do you want, mother?"

"Why has my goddamn grandson grown out his hair and wearing girl's clothes? He better not be one of those queers who think they can change genders. Your sister saw you two and another woman and a boy out at dinner the other day."

Mitsuki gripped her phone tightly in her hand. She was not going to let her mother talk about her daughter that way. Of course her sister would say something. They couldn't stand each other either. Mitsuki spoke lowly but put as much venom as she could in her words. "Mother. Yasha is my daughter. I do not have a son. I never had a son. She is my daughter and you will never ever see her. Also, that woman, that's Inko Midoriya. My old girlfriend you made me break up with. Well guess what? We're back together. She's my girlfriend and soon to be wife. I will not lose her again."

She spit pure venom at he mother. "My daughter, Inko, and her son, Izuku are my family. You on the other hand mother, mean nothing to me. You are not my family. Never fucking call me again."

Mitsuki slammed her phone down. She wanted to scream, but that's when she felt a familiar pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind. She took a deep breath before turning around and holding Inko in an embrace.

She cupped Inko by the chin and kissed her. "I love you. I'm sorry you had to hear me like that."

Inko smiled at her and leaned up to kiss her nose. "You were defending the people you love. Your family. You do not have to be sorry for that. I love you with my entire heart."

Mitsuki had been planning something for next week. She was going to have Izuku and Yasha there with her. She had it all planned out, but right now, looking at Inko, she knew it was the perfect time. She reached into her pocket and dropped down to one knee. She had been keeping the ring close to her so Inko had no chance of finding it.

She could see Inko's eyes go wide and she covered her mouth with her hands. Mitsuki smiled up at the love of her life. Inko had always been the love of her life. She held up the ring towards Inko. "Inko Midoriya, the love of my life, will you marry me?"

Inko eagerly nodded her head as tears ran down her face. "Yes Mitsuki! Of course I'll marry you!"

Mitsuki placed the ring on Inko's finger and then launched up to capture her fiance's lips in a kiss.

Other than giving birth to Yasha and then finding out she had a daughter, this was the happiest she had ever been. Inko was finally going to be her wife.

The only people that meant anything to her were her daughter, her fiance and her soon to be step son, Izuku. That was her family and she would go to the ends of the earth for any of them.

- Upstairs

Dinner has been eventful. It turns out her mother had proposed to Inko. She couldn't be happier for her moms. She could see how happy they were. Inko kept smiling at her ring and her mom kept kissing the back of Inko's hand.

It was later and Yasha and Ashido were watching a movie on her laptop and just talking as they lay in her bed. Their discussion had turned to girls.

Ashido grinned over at her, "Who do you think the prettiest girl in our year is?"

Yasha didn't even have to think about it, but did she really want to be that raw and honest? Yeah, she did. She didn't like lying. "You."

She could see Ashido grow a brighter shade of pink around her neck and ears. "R..Really? You think I'm the prettiest?"

Yasha nodded, "I do. You're really beautiful." She grinned, "Who do you think is the prettiest girl? I see you stare at Kendou from 1B in the cafeteria a lot." She hated that a pang of jealousy shot through her but she pushed it down.

Ashido shook her head. "Kendou is pretty, but she's not the prettiest, you are, Yasha."

Yasha felt instantly shy and it felt like butterflies were flying around in her tummy. "You really think I'm the prettiest girl in our year?"

Ashido was an even brighter pink. "I do. You're really pretty Yasha."

She bit her lip, "Even though I'm not like the other girls? I'm different." She'd probably always battle with her insecurities of being different.

Ashido reached over and grabbed her hand. "You are different in so many ways and it's a good thing. You are so courageous and determined. Nobody in our year is braver or more determined than you. You go after what you want and you don't care what obstacles are in your way. You already know what your goals are and you're chasing after them. You're amazing Yasha."

Yasha felt her cheeks heat up and she knew she was blushing. She spoke softly. "Thank you Ashido. You're pretty amazing too."

Ashido smiled at her. "Call me Mina."

The way Mina softly smiled at her, she knew right then and there that she had a legitimate crush on the pinkette. It wasn't just because of her looks, it was more than that. It was her attitude and drive and personality.

She didn't know what she was going to do. Did this make her a bad person? She liked Kariage. She had liked him for years. He was her boyfriend, how could she like someone else too?

She didn't understand why she wanted to pull Mina into a kiss with every ounce of her being. She wondered what would it be like for Mina to call her baby. Would it fluster her like when Kariage said it? She didn't understand why she felt this way. Was it just infatuation? It made her feel uneasy and bad. Was this a sign that her and Kariage weren't meant to be?

She had so many questions and no answers. She needed to figure this out.

Chapter Text

A lot happened when she turned sixteen within the first two months at Yuuei for Yasha.

She had been ranked number one in the hero course and that was a place she was going to hold until she graduated. She had gotten to finally put all her designs to the test and her first hero costume was made, and she also got to pick her hero name. Apparently Murder Princess wasn't "tame" enough so she went with her second option, Ground Zero. The craziest thing that had happened in school was the attack on the USJ.

She had fought right alongside Kirishima. They made a great hero team and it led to them becoming closer friends. At the end of the attack she had to watch as Izuku tried to sacrifice himself like he usually did and she had to jump in to stop him while All Might finished the fight against the Nomu. She loved Izuku, he was her brother, she was not about to watch him get turned to dust. If she had to tackle him into the concrete, then that's what was needed to do to keep him alive.

The attack on the USJ happened in the first month at school. They all learned pretty quickly what was really waiting for them out in the real world.

She was dealing with it. She had nightmares sometimes, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. She just had to keep moving. She sat with Izuku some nights when he had his own nightmares.

Outside school had been crazy too.

Her and Mina had grown even closer, which led to her feelings for the pinkette and her boyfriend to be even more complicated. Her and Kariage weren't as close as they were anymore either it seemed. He had been different for months but in the last two, something really changed. He stopped picking her up and walking her home. He barely stopped by anymore to see her. He wouldn't answer her calls when she tried to call him and tell him goodnight. His kisses turned lazy and distracted.

When she did see him, he acted like the same old Kariage. He acted like nothing was wrong. She even asked if he was mad at her and he said he wasn't and he would kiss her on the temple and go back to what he was doing.

Was this her fault? Did he know that she was struggling with her feelings? She knew she wasn't the perfect girlfriend, but she never meant to upset him. Even with her difficult feelings for Mina, she still cared deeply for Kariage. She liked him a lot. She was afraid to say the other word, she didn't know what that kind of love felt like. She loved Kariage but did she love him in that way? What did that mean for what she felt about Mina?

Mina, Izuku, and her mom kept asking her what was going on with Kariage, but she honestly didn't have the answers. Tomorrow was her appointment with her new doctor, she planned on telling Kariage how it went and really talking to him about everything. They needed to figure things out. She missed having him hold her close and walk her home from school or when he gave her gentle butterfly kisses. She just missed him.

She went to bed that night thinking of Kariage and Mina and feeling anxious about the next day and what it held.

She woke up the next morning with a message from Mina and no message from Kariage. Mina told her good luck and that she hoped everything went great at her appointment. She messaged Mina back and messaged Kariage good morning and that she'd see him later.

Yasha was a ball of nerves and energy as her and her mom drove to her appointment. Would she be able to start hormones soon? What if they told her she couldn't start hormones at all? That made her heart sink. There's no way they would tell her that. They wouldn't.

Once they got to the office and filled out all the paperwork, it wasn't long before she was called back. A young nurse took her and her mom back and the nurse took all her vitals and told her Dr. Suzuki would be with her in a little bit.

Yasha was bouncing her leg, her mom looked at her. "Honey, it's going to be okay. We're going to hear good news and you'll be starting hormones in no time."

Yasha bounced her leg and picked at her lip. A nervous habit she had. "What if I'm not allowed to start hormones ever?"

Her mom sternly looked at her. "You're psyching yourself out. You may not be able to start hormones today, but you will be able to start them. I have no doubt about that. You have your recommendation letter from your therapist. She agrees that this is the right step for you. We just have to see what the doctor says."

Only a moment later there was a knock on the door and a tall brunette woman walked in. She smiled at her, "You must be Yasha."

Yasha shyly smiled back. "Yes. I'm Yasha."

Dr. Suzuki went through an introduction with them. She told them about what Estrogen and a testosterone blocker will do to the body and what she can expect to happen and when. After everything was said and she had a physical, she hated every second of the physical, Dr. Suzuki finally smiled at her. "Yasha, I agree with your therapist. I think HRT is the right step for you."

Yasha's eyes went wide. "You really think so?"

Dr. Suzuki smiled softly at her, "I do. I'll get everything started and get everything ready and you should be able to start hormones here in a months time."

Yasha felt her mom squeeze her hand. She couldn't believe it. "You're serious? I'll actually be able to start next month?"

Dr Suzuki lightly chuckled. "I'm serious. I'll see you back here in a month so you can start your first dose."

She couldn't stop the tears that welled up in her eyes. "I can't believe I'll actually be able to start. I've been dreaming about this happening. It's actually happening."

She was actually going to be able to start hormones. Her medical transition was finally about to start. She smiled at her doctor as tears streamed down her cheeks. "Thank you."

Her doctor smiled gently at her again. "There's no need to thank me."

As soon as her and her mom made it outside, her mom was hugging her tight. Yasha held her mom close. She felt her mom kiss the top of her head. "I'm so proud of you. You've come so far darling."

Yasha hiccupped, "Thank you for accepting me and being by my side every step of the way. I couldn't have done this without you." What she uttered next she hadn't said since she was maybe six or seven. She would blame it on all the emotions she was feeling. "Thank you momma."

Her mom held her tighter. "You don't have to thank me. You're my little girl. I love you."

It slipped out of her mouth before she could catch it again. She felt like a little kid again getting taken care of by her mom. "I love you too momma."

On the ride home she realized there was only two hours of school let so there was no point in going today. The first person she thought about telling was Mina. She knew Mina wouldn't answer because she was in school, but she would call and leave a voicemail.

Like she predicted, she got Mina's voicemail, but she left one anyway. "Mina! Guess who gets to start hormones in only a month? Me! I'm so fucking excited! Call me when you can. Bye!"

She excitedly hung up and went to call Kariage to leave him a voicemail too. She probably should have called him first. That made her feel a little guilty, but she brushed it off. She was too excited at the moment. She'd also go see him after school.

Yasha happily told Izuku and Inko the news when they got home. Izuku almost killed her with a hug and Inko suggested they go out to celebrate.

She had about two hours until they went out so she was going to go see Kariage.

As she walked she got a message from Mina. It read in all caps, "I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU BABY GIRL!! I'LL CALL YOU AS SOON AS I GET HOME!"

Yasha blushed. She blushed and her heart fluttered every time Mina called her baby girl. The first time Mina had said it to her in person, she almost passed out. Everything going on between her and Mina was complicated, but she knew she liked the pinkette and she was almost a hundred percent positive Mina liked her too. They were in a weird state of limbo.

When they talked, there was always so much that seemed unsaid. She had to figure things out, because as much as she liked Mina, she would never cheat on Kariage. That's why she had to talk to him today. She hadn't done anything physical with Mina, she made sure not to even flirt with the pinkette by accident, but she was still thinking of Mina. She still had feelings for her and that was not fair to keep from Kariage. Talking with Kariage had always helped clear things up for her when she needed help, he was her rock. It would hurt, but she would step back from her friendship with Mina to make sure her and Kariage were okay.

Even as she thought about that though, she really didn't know if she could just step back from Mina. Mina was too woven into her life now.

Yasha rubbed her eyes. She was giving herself a headache. She would just talk to Kariage first before she made any irrational decisions.

She made it to Kariage's house and knocked on the door. His mom answered and smiled at her. "Kari is upstairs dear. He has a friend up there with him, but go on up. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you."

Yasha smiled politely and made her way up. Kariage had someone else here? She didn't know he had any other close friends besides her and Izuku. She smiled, she was glad he was making friends.

She knocked on the door and opened it like she had done a hundred times. What she saw when she opened the door was like getting hit by Kirishima while he was hardened.

Kariage was being straddled by some red headed girl. They were kissing, they hadn't even heard her come in. She saw the girl separate from Kariage for just a moment and she heard her moan his name.

That was what finally broke her. A sob wracked through her. Kariage instantly shot up and looked at her with wide eyes. The girl on his lap slid off and Kariage walked over to her. He tried to cup her cheek but she smacked his hand away. "How could you!? Is this why you don't walk me home from school anymore? Is this why you don't answer my calls anymore?"

He wouldn't meet her eyes. "Yasha, please just calm down and I'll explain."

She wanted to scream and blow something up, but she held her tongue. He ran a hand through his hair, "I messed up and kissed her one day, and one thing led to another and we slept together. We were each other's first. I know I shouldn't have did what I did, but I like her. I like you, you're so dear to me, but I like her too. She knows about you and I've been meaning to talk to you about her."

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You fucker! I've been battling with my feelings for Mina and what that means for us. I like her, but guess what? I've never touched her or flirted with her or anything else. I was even prepared to tell you about her and step back in my friendship with her if me liking her made you uncomfortable. You knew I was coming over today so we could talk. You couldn't even just wait a few hours to get your dick wet until after I left."

Her and Kariage had talked about having sex, but she just wasn't ready. They hadn't even really fooled around that much. She didn't think he minded that she wasn't ready. He had never pushed her, now she knew why.

He looked at her, "I knew something was going on between you and Ashido." She didn't like his tone. So it was fair that he liked her and another girl and slept with her, but she couldn't be confused and have feelings for someone else? She was trying her best to figure everything out.

She glared at him. "You do not get to be upset with me. You cheated on me. You slept with someone else. Was waiting for me not good enough for you? You fucking bastard. How long has this been going on for?"

He looked away. "Six months."

She almost blew up. "Six months! I didn't even know who Mina was six months ago and you're trying to give me shit! Fuck you!"

He snapped at her, "Damnit Yasha, Mai is a real girl with real parts!"

That was one of the most painful things she had ever heard. Tears instantly made their way to her eyes. All her anger was gone. She just felt hollow. She sniffled and her voice came out barely above a whisper. "I..I am a real girl."

His eyes looked full of regret. "Yasha, baby, I didn't mean that. Of course you're a real girl. I'm so sorry."

He tried to touch her but she flinched away. "If you.. d..didn't mean it, why did you say it? Have you been pretending this entire time?"

He took a step forward and she took a step back. "Baby no, I haven't been pretending. I just reacted in anger. I shouldn't have said what I said."

She was actively sobbing. She tried to wipe her eyes as her mascara ran down her face. "I..I hate you. I fucking hate you!"

She ran. She took off down the stairs and ran out the door, no doubt scaring Kariage's mom. She ran as fast as she could as tears blinded her as she tried to make it home. She burst through her front door and ran past her family right to her room. She slammed the door and fell face first into her bed. She knew she only had a few moments before everyone was up to check on her.

Her heart hurt. She felt like she had been stabbed in the chest. Was this what she deserved? Was this retribution for having feelings for Mina while she was with Kariage?

She didn't even hear a knock. The next thing she knew her mom was pulling her up into a sitting position and pulling her into an embrace. Her mom quietly hushed her as she cried. Her mom let her cry it out before she tried to talk to her. "Honey, what happened?"

Yasha sniffled, "K..Kariage cheated on me."

She saw green lightning dance around Izuku's clenched fist. "I'm going to kill him."

She heard her mom growl, "Not if I kill him first."

She calmed down enough to walk them through what happened and her feelings for Mina. She started crying again when she got to the part where Kariage implied she wasn't a real girl. Inko had to physically stop Izuku from storming out of the house after Kariage at that point.

Yasha wiped at her eyes. "It's all my fault."

Her mom helped her wipe tears away. "You get that thought out of your head right now missy. This isn't your fault."

Yasha threw up her hands. "I've had feelings for Mina ever since school started. I like her. I actively like her. Maybe if I didn't like her, maybe Kariage wouldn't have cheated on me." She knew that wasn't true. Kariage was cheating on her way before that. She just still felt guilty.

Her mom held up several fingers. "One, that shitstain is in charge of his own actions. He slept with another girl. That is on him, not on you. He got with this girl way before you even knew Mina. Two, you are young. You're figuring everything out. Feelings are going to change. Three, you did not go out and sleep with Mina. You haven't done anything physical with her and you've felt conflicted this entire time about your feelings for her. It's not like you just liked her and never gave a shit about what Kariage felt. You're trying to figure everything out. Instead of talking to you, he slept with this other girl. I do not want to hear you blame yourself for this again."

She sobbed again, "I'm sorry."

Her mom held her close and kissed the top of her head. "You do not have to apologize." Her mom gave her a gentle squeeze, "I think you need to take some time to focus on yourself. Focus on school and focus on starting hormones. If you're still serious about Mina then, then think about telling her how you feel, but right now you need some time for yourself. You need time to heal from your first heartbreak."

Yasha nodded and buried her head into her moms neck. "You're right momma."

-

Mitsuki angrily clutched her cup of tea in her hands. Her little girl had finally calmed down enough where she wanted to be alone. She was going to go to jail. Her and Izuku both were going to go to jail. She'd have to send Inko enough money to get them both out of jail.

How dare that little bastard Kariage cheat on her little girl. How dare he even insinuate that Yasha wasn't a real girl. Spoken in anger or not, he still uttered those words and she knew Yasha would remember them for forever.

She sighed as she waited for dinner to arrive. They had ordered from Yasha's favorite place, hoping it would cheer her up even just a little.

Mitsuki was setting the table when the doorbell chimed. She went and opened the door. A very familiar girl with pink skin and fluffy pink hair stood before her. Ashido was holding a giant stuffed white tiger. Ashido smiled up at her, "It's for Yasha. I got it for her as congratulations for starting hormones soon. She told me white tigers were her favorite animal when we first met. I told her I would call her, but I wanted to stop by and surprise her personally."

Mitsuki studied the girl before her. She could see something behind those unique colored eyes that she could never see behind Kariage's. Love. It was something she had seen behind her daughter's eyes when she would catch Yasha staring at the pink girl during dinner when Ashido stayed over.

She didn't think these girls knew how deep they really were for each other yet. She could see it though. She could sense it. She also wasn't going to let her little girl get hurt again though. "Yasha's upstairs. She's uh, she's had a long day. You can run up to her, but you can't stay very long tonight. Okay?"

Ashido nodded and thanked her. Mitsuki let the young girl past her and watched her head upstairs.

She didn't think Ashido would hurt her Yasha, but she also thought that way about Kariage.

-

Yasha had finally settled down enough to read when there was a light knock on her door. She called out, "It's open."

She expected it to be her mom or Izuku, or even Inko, but it was Mina carrying a stuffed white tiger. Her favorite animal.

Mina smiled at her until she got closer to her. She seen the smile fall from Mina's face. "You've been crying. Are you okay?"

Mina came to see beside her and handed her the tiger. Yasha snuggled the tiger and shook her head no. She knew if she spilled her guts right now, she would tell Mina everything.

Mina scooted close to her, "Baby girl, what's wrong?"

Yasha let a small smile come to her face. "You know my heart beats rapidly and my tummy feels like it's full of butterflies every time you call me that?"

She could see Mina turn a brighter shade of pink. She sounded kind of breathless. "Do I need to stop?"

Yasha whispered out, "Please don't."

She knew she should listen to her mom. She did, but she just couldn't help herself with Mina sitting so close to her. Staring at her with that gentle yet concerned look. "I like you Mina."

She could hear Mina's breath hitch. "I like you too, Yasha. I like you a lot."

Yasha felt her chest burn with warmth. A warmth she had never felt before.

She went over everything with Mina. How she had been feeling. How confused she had felt. How much she liked her but didn't know what to do. What happened with Kariage. (Mina tried to get up and go commit murder at that moment but Yasha stopped her. Kariage was a wanted man.) She talked about what her mom said.

She sighed, "I like you, and I promise you're not a rebound, but I think my mom is right. I need some time to myself for a little bit."

She could tell Mina was still upset about Kariage, but she had calmed down some. Mina smiled at her. "I'm not going anywhere. I will happily wait for you."

Yasha looked over at her friend, which that word didn't sound right at this point, Mina was so much more than that. "You promise?"

Mina smiled so softly at her, "I promise."

Yasha wasn't for sure who leaned in first, but eventually their foreheads were touching and their lips were millimeters apart. Yasha sucked in a breath, "Promise me something else, please."

Mina cradled her chin. "Anything for you Yasha."

She stared into those unique eyes of Mina's that she found so beautiful. "Promise me you won't kiss me unless you mean it."

Her eyes fluttered close as she felt Mina press her lips into hers. She felt a rush she had never felt before as Mina kissed her. Mina kissed her softly, but earnestly. She felt Mina's breath blow gently across her face as they separated. "I promise I'll mean it every single time."

Notes:

I couldn't decide whether I wanted to go cute and fluffy and have Kariage and Mina both date Yasha or go angsty. I went with angsty. :3 Sorry my Kariage fans.

Chapter Text

It had been two months since Yasha had broken up with Kariage. It had been two months since she had even seen him. He never tried to even contact her. Part of it crushed her, but the other part of her knew it was for the best.

She had been focusing on nothing but her family, school, training for the sports festival, and herself. She had been on hormones for a month and she couldn't believe how good she felt now. Just knowing she was working towards a body that would make her happy filled her with joy.

It had been two months of her and Mina keeping things on the back burner, but now Yasha was ready. She just hoped that Mina was still waiting for her. They hadn't kissed since the night they told each other about their feelings, and she wanted to kiss Mina again. She needed to feel the pinkette's lips on hers again.

She had been trying to talk to Mina all day. She tried to talk to her in homeroom but Kirishima, and two other guys she had become friends with, Kaminari and Sero, were all around her desk. She tried during lunch, but again, her friends got in the way.

They had just finished their hero course training for the day when she finally just went for it. She waited until it was just her and Mina in the changing room. She has just finished getting changed. "Hey Mina."

Mina had just slipped her uniform jacket on over her shoulders. "What's up baby girl?"

Yasha felt her cheeks warm like she did every time Mina called her baby girl. She took a deep breath and made her way over to Mina. She stood in front of the pink skinned girl, "Are you still waiting for me?"

She watched as a small smile made its way to Mina's face. "I've never stopped."

Yasha took a small step forward, and she immediately felt Mina's arms circle around her waist. Her breath hitched at Mina's touch. She let her arms drape around Mina's neck. "Thank you for waiting for me."

Their lips were only inches apart and her eyes were starting to flutter close. It was Mina who finally surged forward and captured her lips in an urgent kiss. Yasha kissed back with absolutely everything she had. She wanted this so bad. She wanted Mina. She heard a whine come from the back of her own throat.

Mina's hand had come up to cradle her face as the two of them moved in sync. She could keep kissing Mina for the rest of her life and she would be happy, but life had other plans because they were interrupted. Yasha heard a gasp and someone say, "Holy shit."

Her and Mina sprung back from each other and looked over at the door. All five of the other girls were standing in the doorway.

Jirou smirked at the two of them. "I knew it. I know pining when I see it."

If Yasha wasn't frozen on her feet she would have rolled her eyes and told Jirou she didn't have room to talk, but she was currently too overwhelmed.

Uraraka shuffled her feet, "We came to see what was taking you two so long. Sorry, we umm, interrupted you."

Hagakure giggled, "I want details later Mina."

Yaoyorozu finally saved them. "Girls, enough teasing, let them be." She shooed the other girls out the door. The taller girl looked back at them, "I'm rooting for you girls.”

As soon as the door shut again, Yasha heard Mina let out a little nervous giggle.

She couldn't help but shyly smile over at the pinkette. Her hand found Mina's and she laced their fingers together. "I really like you Mina."

Mina squeezed her hand gently. "I really like you too."

Yasha felt her smile grow even bigger. "Thank you for waiting for me. I want us to be something. You mean so much to me. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Mina pulled her into her embrace. Yasha tucked her face away into Mina's neck. She felt Mina hold her close. "I would have waited forever for you, and I'd absolutely love to be your girlfriend."

Yasha couldn't contain her excited squeal. She was happy. Mina made her happy.

Mina leaned in to give her a gentle kiss. "I promise I will never break your heart."

That was a massive promise. Anything could happen in the future, but Yasha couldn't help but believe Mina. "I believe you."

The two of them walked out with their hands laced together. She wasn't going to hide being with Mina. The other girls giggled and teased them, but Yasha was happy.

She came home and happily strutted into the living room as Izuku teased her. Her mom and Inko must have just gotten home because they still had their bags in their hands. Her mom gave her a questioning look but smiled, "What's got you in such a good mood?"

Yasha smiled wide, "I scored the highest grade on our English test, I had really good Curry for lunch, oh, and I got a girlfriend! Mina said yes and now she's my girlfriend."

Her mom blew a raspberry, "Were you really nervous she'd say no? That girl is crazy about you." Her smirk melted into a smile though, "I'm happy for you darling."

Inko grinned at her too, "That Ashido girl is a good person, I can just tell, but she better treat you right."

Yasha felt her cheeks flush. "I promise she will Ma."

Izuku grumbled, "She better."

Yasha stuck her tongue out at him. She knew he was just being protective, but she honestly believed Mina when she said she wouldn't break her heart. She pointed at Izuku, "Izuku has news too but he won't tell me."

Izuku went red in the face. "I was w.. waiting to tell everyone!"

He shyly shifted his feet as he look at their moms. "You know my friend Kirishima, who's come over a few times now?"

Yasha saw their moms nod. Of course she knew Kirishima, he was one of her friends. Probably her closest friend behind Mina. No wonder the red head was happily vibrating at the end of school and said he had something important to tell her later.

Izuku shyly smiled. "He asked me to be his boyfriend today and I said yes."

She knew it! She knew Izuku had a crush on that spikey haired rooster. She pointed a finger at him. "I knew you liked shark face."

Izuku's face grew even pinker. "S..Shut up."

Inko smiled, "We all kind of knew you liked Kirishima, honey, but we're happy for you."

Yasha grinned over at Izuku. "Told you."

He stuck his tongue out, "Like you were any different with Ashido."

Yasha wanted to reply, but she honestly didn't have one. Mina was special to her and she couldn't deny that.

A few days later Yasha hit a bump in the road and it wasn't between her and Mina. They were good and she couldn't be happier with her girlfriend. It was with the other girls. Yasha unexpectedly came out to the other girls while in the locker room.

They were in the middle of just locker room talk. Yasha had just slipped on her gym clothes when Hagakure brought up class 1B. "Did you girls hear about Tsunotori? The short girl who speaks really good English?"

They all shook their heads and Hagakure continued. "She was apparently outed as a trans girl. She's apparently been on hormones since she was like thirteen. After finding out I heard Shiozaki went on a really mean rant in the middle of class and made Tsunotori cry. Shiozaki said she didn't want to be around her anymore and said she shouldn't be allowed in the girl's locker room anymore and some of the other girls agreed with her."

Yasha immediately tensed and looked over at Mina. None of the girls would do that to her would they? They wouldn't try to force her out of the locker room would they? Yasha had been thinking about telling the girls she was trans. She had been tucking everyday that they had hero course work or training because that's when they had to change, but tucking constantly wasn't hygienic and it was starting to hurt. She thought she would be able to trust the girls.

Mina put her hands on her hip. "Well Tsunotori should come to our class. We wouldn't treat her like that. Right girls?"

The girls all agreed. Yaoyorozu nodded along, "Tsunotori is a girl just like any of us."

Mina shot her a smile and Yasha felt a little tension leave her shoulders. The girls were accepting, she could do this. "I'm trans."

She mumbled it, but the girls still heard her. Jirou looked at her, "Did you say you're trans?"

Yasha swallowed down her nerves and nodded. "Yes, I'm a trans girl. I've been on estrogen and testosterone blockers for a month, but I've been a girl for years, longer than that because I've always been a girl, I just didn't know it at first."

Uraraka's eyes dipped down her body for just a split second, Yasha caught her though. "I've been wanting to tell you all for a little bit now. Mina knows of course, but I wanted to tell you all too. I tuck, but it's not hygienic to do it all the time and it hurts. I wanted to tell you all and not just change untucked one day and have someone freak out."

She sighed, "I hope this doesn't change anything or make any of you uncomfortable."

Yaoyorozu softly smiled at her, "I think I can speak for everyone and say this doesn't change anything. You're still Yasha."

Jirou nodded, "I'm not uncomfortable at all, like Momo said, you're still you."

Tsu agreed, "You shouldn't have to tuck all the time, especially if it isn't safe and it hurts you."

Yasha felt tears prickling at her eyes. She wiped her arm across her eyes. Yaoyorozu looked startled, "Did we say something to upset you Yasha?"

Mina came to stand by her and squeezed her hip in a reassuring manner. "She just gets overwhelmed with emotions easily."

Yasha nodded. "I'm an easy crier, plus the hormones make me even more emotional. I'm just really relieved you all accepted me."

Uraraka gave her a reassuring smile. "Of course we accept you."

Hagakure hopped up and down. "Yeah!"

Yasha sniffled, but she smiled. "Can we keep this just between us? I'm not ready for anyone else to know."

The girls all agreed. She was happy to be out to the girls. She didn't have to fret when she went in to change, and she could untuck sometimes and it not be an issue. She was happy the girls accepted her. She just didn't want to tell anyone else.

Well, that wasn't completely true. She wanted to tell one more person.

The next day at lunch as Yasha sat with the girls and she held Mina's hand secretly under the table, she couldn't help but stare over at Tsunotori and her table.

Tsunotori was sitting with the lizard girl, Tokage and the mushroom girl, Komori. Yasha watched as a group of older kids stopped by their table as they said something to Tsunotori. She could see Tsunotori's face fall and the group walked away laughing. That's it, she had had enough.

She looked over at Mina, "I'll be right back."

Mina could see where she was staring and the pinkette smiled. "You're a good person Yasha."

Yasha smiled and blushed at her girlfriend's words. She was just going to do what she thought was right.

She stood up and walked over to Tsunotori's table. Tokage glared at her when she came closer. "If you have something rude to say, keep fucking walking."

Yasha held up her hands in surrender. "I'm not here to be mean. I'm here to talk to Tsunotori." She looked at the shorter girl. The girl had unshed tears in her eyes and it lit a fire in her belly.

Tokage grunted, "If you have something to say, you can say it right here. Someone said that yesterday and when Pony went with them, they pushed her down and made fun of her outside the cafeteria. So if you're genuine, you can say it right here."

Yasha really wanted to just talk to Tsunotori alone. She didn't want to come out to the other two girls, but she could understand Tsunotori being hesitant and her friends being protective. Which if they were being this protective over her, they would probably understand her being trans too. They would probably accept her.

She took a breath and released it, "I'm a trans girl too."

Tsunotori looked up at her with wide eyes."R..Really?"

Yasha gave her a small smile. "Yeah, really. The only people at school that know are my teachers and the girls in my class, and now you three. I'm sorry to hear you were outed. I just didn't want you to feel alone. We've got to stick together, Tsunotori."

The shorter girl smiled up at her. "Call me Pony please."

Yasha nodded. "Okay Pony. Anyone else fucks with you, you send them my way. Okay? Especially that vine bitch."

Pony was up and hugging her. "Thank you Yasha."

Yasha smiled down at her, "If you put in for a class transfer, the girls in my class will happily accept you."

Pony scrunched up her nose, "Can I really do that? Vladking is okay, but he really doesn't say anything to Shiozaki when she's being awful to me. He just kind of let's us go. I have to defend myself or Setsuna protects me."

Yasha grunted, "You can put in for a class transfer, it may take a little bit but you can submit one. Aizawa won't stand for that shit. He's a no nonsense type of dude. He's grumpy but he's a good teacher. Someone says something to you in our class and he will shut that shit down."

Pony grinned, "I'll think about it. Thank you."

Yasha made her way over to her table and sat down. The girls were giving her questioning looks. She just shrugged. "I told her I was trans too and I had her back. I'm not going to let anyone mess with her for being trans. I also told her she should put in for a class transfer. Vladking is being a dick."

Mina grabbed her hand and lightly squeezed it. "I'm proud of you."

Yasha smiled back at her girlfriend. She was honestly pretty proud of herself.

Notes:

I'm actually enjoying the Yasha and Pony friendship a lot. It's going to be fun to write. Class B does not get enough time to shine.

Chapter 8: Falling in love

Notes:

I hope everyone enjoys the chapter!

Not really a plot driven chapter. Mainly just fluff between Yasha and Mina because they deserve it!

Stay safe my friends.

Chapter Text

Mina nuzzled into her girlfriend's hair as she had her arms wrapped tight around Yasha's waist. They were sitting on Yasha's bed. They had been officially dating for a couple weeks at this point. Mina was sitting back against the headboard of Yasha's bed while Yasha sat in between her legs with her back flush to Mina's chest. Yasha was reading while she was just enjoying her time cuddled up with her girlfriend.

As Yasha read, she let her mind wander. She remembered the first time she saw Yasha. She was smitten the very first moment she laid eyes on her future girlfriend.

- The Yuuei entrance exams almost a year prior

Mina was entranced because there was a blonde bombshell standing and talking to a shorter kid with green hair across the room as they all waited for the exam to start.

Mina's breath hitched. This girl was so pretty. She had an aura that demanded people notice her, but she also seemed shy. She was playing with her hands as she talked to the green haired kid.

Eijirou noticed her staring. He noticed where she was staring. He cracked a grin, "She's pretty."

Mina felt her face get hot from embarrassment. "W..Who?"

Eijirou smirked, "The blonde girl you're absolutely drooling over."

She pouted. "I am not drooling over her."

She eternally started to panic when Eijirou grabbed her hand and started walking over to the blonde beauty and her friend. She squeaked, "Ei! What are you doing?"

He smiled at her. "We're going to go find out her name."

Mina would find out her name, it was a beautiful name, Yasha. She would find out that they had somewhat similar quirks and people gave her shit and called her dangerous just like they did her. She was a sweet girl and a little shy but determined and she knew what she wanted.

Mina was immediately smitten and it seemed like her and Yasha really hit it off.

Mina couldn't help but keep staring at Yasha as the four of them talked. The blonde was just that pretty. She made Mina's tummy feel all fluttery.

She unfortunately wasn't able to get Yasha's number or ask if she wanted to hang out, so Mina didn't know if they would see each other again. It made her sad, but maybe it was meant to be that way. It was just a little crush.

It was just a crush. She kept telling herself that anyway.

She thought Yasha would fade from her thoughts because of that fact, but the blonde girl and her sinful smirk never left her thoughts.

It was just a crush. Just innocent puppy love. It would eventually pass.

Then a few months later she was walking into class at Yuuei for the first time and Yasha was just there. They were in the same class!

Kirishima made easy conversation. He was good at that. She learned a little more about Yasha as they stood there. Yasha's and Midoriya's mothers were dating so that made them siblings. She liked learning little facts about Yasha.

Mina then said something about Yasha's nails and she smiled and said her boyfriend painted them. Mina squealed and pretended to be excited but on the inside she was upset. Yasha had a boyfriend? That honestly upset her more than it should and that wasn't fair to Yasha.

It was just a crush and now Mina had a reason to get over it.

Yasha really was sweet though and Mina wanted to be her friend so she made sure her bubbly attitude shined through. She would still be friends with Yasha even if she was taken. She wanted to be Yasha's friend. She could tell the blonde would be an amazing friend.

They were tested all of that first day and Yasha just dominated the day. Yasha was incredible with her quirk, and just so freaking hot and powerful. Mina selfishly loved getting to watch her all day.

Over the next couple days, they started walking to the train station after school and then her and Yasha started talking more from there. They exchanged numbers and became actual close friends. She felt close to Yasha and it had only been a couple days.

Mina has always been an affectionate person, so she didn't think much of it when she started hugging Yasha or leaning into her or teasing her and being playful. It hurt her heart, but she wanted to put those feelings to the side and just be friendly with Yasha. She had to remember Yasha had a boyfriend. Mina was just an affectionate person, she was with everyone in her life.

Then they had their sleep over and Yasha told her her secret. Mina respected the girl even more for how strong she was. Yasha was one of the strongest girls she had ever met. Then later in the evening, they told each other who they thought was the prettiest girl in school. Her heart rate picked up when Yasha told her she was beautiful. She was honest and told Yasha it was her. By the end of the night, Yasha was looking at her so softly with so much attention. Mina had wanted to kiss her so much.

Mina wanted to kiss her with her entire being.

It was more than just a crush.

Things seemed to have shifted after that night. They became even closer. Hugs and touches lasted longer and they seemed more hesitant to let the other one go.

Mina knew she was setting herself up for heartbreak. She was becoming too attached and Yasha had a boyfriend.

She couldn't stop herself though. She craved the lingering touches and soft smiles Yasha gave her.

The way Yasha looked at her, it gave her hope. Something about the way Yasha would smile at her. It gave her hope.

She held her feelings in though. She held in everything because she wanted Yasha to be happy and she didn't want to make their friendship weird.

Then everything changed on the day Yasha called her and excitedly told her she was going to start hormones soon. Mina was excited for her friend and went to pick Yasha up a stuffed white tiger. White tigers were Yasha's favorite animal.

Mina went to see her friend that night and learned what her boyfriend had done to her. He had cheated and said she wasn't a real girl. She remembered being so angry for Yasha. How could someone do that to such an amazing girl? She didn't understand.

Then Yasha told her she liked her and had for a while. Yasha told her she had been struggling with her feelings for a while. Mina felt it was right and came clean about her own feelings. They kissed and even though it was her first kiss, she couldn't see herself kissing anyone but Yasha anymore after that day. Mina promised she would wait until Yasha was ready and promised she would mean it every single time they kissed.

That was a promise she would keep too.

Mina waited for a few months, a few months of lingering looks and soft touches, she waited until Yasha was ready and the day they became official was one of the best days of her life.

She was honestly confused and kind of scared. The feelings she had for Yasha were intense. She felt like she may be in love, but she had never been in love before. She didn't know what to do. She felt like she was in love.

Yasha made her feel so much. Her tummy was always nervous but in a good way. Kissing Yasha made her feel like she was floating.

She was just so nervous to tell Yasha. She didn't want to mess up.

- Currently

As they sat cuddled together on Yasha's bed, Mina gently kissed the blonde's shoulder. "Hey."

Yasha continued reading for a moment before flipping the page and putting her bookmark in and closing the book. She looked back at her and smiled. Her voice was soft. "Hey."

Mina was nervous. She was so nervous. She didn't want to mess anything up but she needed to tell Yasha how she felt. "Yasha.. I.. I think I'm in love with you. Y..You make me feel complete. You make me feel like I'm floating and that my tummy is full of butterflies. I've never been in love before, but I'm pretty sure I love you."

Yasha shifted in her arms and turned so they could kiss. Mina happily hummed into the kiss. When they separated, Yasha was giving her the softest look she had ever seen. "Mina, my feelings for you are so intense. I've been scared of what that meant, but I know what it means and I love you too. I'm so in love with you."

Every single fiber of her being relaxed at hearing Yasha's words. Yasha loved her. Yasha really loved her. Mina felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

Yasha melted into her and Mina felt like she was on top of the world. She happily hummed as she held Yasha close to her. Mina nuzzled into her girlfriend's hair. "I love you so much."

-

Mitsuki made her way up to her daughter's room to let the girls know dinner was ready.

As she went upstairs, she could see the door was partially open, which was the new rule of the house for both of her kids when Mina or Eijirou were over. What was odd was that she couldn't hear any talking or giggling like she usually did when she passed by the door.

Mitsuki stopped when she was about to knock on the door. She could see into the room and could see Mina had her back resting against the headboard and had Yasha pulled close. The two of them were asleep.

It was honestly one of the cutest things she had ever seen. Her little girl looked so at ease. Mina really was good for her daughter.

She heard Izuku's door open and he made his way down the hallway. He stopped when he got to her and peeked in Yasha's room. He smiled, "Mina is good for her. Eijirou tells me Mina talks about Yasha all the time when they're not together."

He looked over at her. "She's not going to be like Kariage."

She looked back at the sleeping girls. She knew in her heart Mina wouldn't be like Kariage. She knew Mina was special to her daughter. "I know."

She knew there was love there. She could see how the girls looked at each other. She could see the love they had for one another.

-

Yasha made her way into class. They wouldn't be in actual class most of the week because the sports festival was at the end of the week, but they still had homeroom.

She was usually the first one into class, but this morning she wasn't. Pony and Aizawa Sensei were in class, talking at his desk. Pony must have seen her walk into class because the shorter girl waved. "Hi Yasha!"

Yasha smiled and waved as she seen Aizawa Sensei give her a gentle smile. "Miss Tsunotori tells me you told her to put in a class transfer form to my class."

Yasha nodded, "I told her to put one in if she wanted to. She doesn't deserve to be treated like shit for who she is. Plus you've had my back, I know you'll have hers."

Aizawa sighed, but she could see the fondness in his face. He looked back at Pony. "It would have to be after the sports festival, but if you want to put a class transfer form in, I will happily talk to Nezu and Vladking. You will be respected in my class."

Pony smiled, "Thank you, Aizawa Sensei."

Pony ran over to her and hugged her. "I'll hopefully be in class soon."

Yasha grinned. "I know you will."

Pony made her way out and Yasha made her way to her seat. She could see Aizawa Sensei looking at her. He finally stood up and said, "You know, for someone who likes to pretend they don't care for others. You sure do care a lot." She heard him laugh quietly as he looked over at her.

She smirked, "I could say the same thing about you, Dadzawa."

He snorted. "Fair play."

Mina walked in and waved happily at her. She heard her teacher snarkily mumble, "Case and point."

She snarked back at her teacher. "Mina is my girlfriend, of course I'm going to care about her."

Aizawa Sensei rolled his eyes. "Midoriya, Kirishima."

She folded her arms over her chest. "Izuku is my brother, and Kirishima is my best friend other than Mina."

Aizawa Sensei started counting off his fingers, "Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, Jirou.."

She cut him off with a pout. "Okay, I give a shit. Happy? I'm still going to be number one."

He just smirked at her and went to his desk. Smart ass old man.

Yasha's pout disappeared as Mina looked to make sure the coast was clear before kissing the top of her head. Yasha grinned and kept her voice down so their teacher couldn't hear her be all sweet and mushy. She didn't want to give him any more ammunition. "H..Hi babe." This was her first time using any kind of pet name and she was nervous.

The smile on Mina's face told her she didn't need to be nervous. Mina cooed, "You are absolutely the cutest."

Yasha pretended to pout. "Meanie."

Mina giggled, "You can't pout like that and be upset I called you cute. You're adorable."

Their moment came to an end when others started entering the room. Mina winked at her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Yasha had to hold herself back from pulling her girlfriend into a proper kiss. There would be time for that later. She watched as Mina talked with Jirou and Yaoyorozu who had come over to talk to them. Gods, Yasha loved being able to just selfishly take Mina in. She loved getting to just look at her girlfriend. The amount of love she had for the pinkette made her heart swell.

She was so absolutely in love.

Chapter Text

The sports festival was going really well for Yasha. She had gotten to show off how good she was with her quirk in front of hundreds of pro heroes and thousands of people watching at home, and she loved getting to show off her quirk. She had spent hundreds of hours honing her skills, so she felt good when she got to show off.

Her, Mina, Kirishima, and Izuku had made it to the top sixteen so they were going through one on one battles. Mina and Izuku were knocked out of their second round fights, but she was proud of both of them. Tokoyami and Todoroki were both incredible opponents and would probably be who she fought in the finals, because she was making it to the finals and winning.

She had beaten Uraraka and then Kirishima, and she was about to battle that vine bitch, Shiozaki.

Mina held her hand as they made their way through the tunnel to the entrance of the arena. Mina grinned at her, "Go kick that bitch's ass."

Yasha just manically grinned back. "You know I'm going to."

She made her way out to the fighting boundaries when her name was called. People were actually cheering for her. It pumped her up even more. People and heroes were actually cheering for her and calling her name. This was one of the rare times she felt good to hear her last name instead of her first. She was proud to be a Bakugou, and Bakugou's didn't lose.

She sneered over at Shiozaki as she took her position. "You ready to get your ass kicked?"

Shiozaki scoffed. "Such language is unnecessary."

Yasha barked out a laugh, "Know what else is unnecessary? Being an intolerant bitch. This fight is for Pony."

Shiozaki looked surprised, "What does that abomination have anything to do with this?"

Yasha just growled and as soon as the whistle blew, she took off. She blasted and propelled herself at Shiozaki. She dodged clusters of vines as she tried to get in close. She finally got close enough and let a blast go but Shiozaki had put up a wall of vines just like she had when fighting Kaminari.

Yasha's arm was grabbed by a cluster of vines but she used her other hand to grab the vines and blow them apart with ease. She grinned at a shocked Shiozaki. "Your ass is mine, bitch!"

Shiozaki threw wave after wave of vines at her, but she either dodged them or blew them apart. Yasha propelled herself into the air to do a move that she had only tried in theory so far. She called it the Howitzer Impact.

She began to rotate her body with a series of blasts to make herself into a tornado. She used the momentum and oxygen created to propel herself towards Shiozaki and detonated a huge explosion as soon as she touched the ground.

Debris from the ground flew and dust and columns of smoke went as high as the arena opening. When the dust and smoke finally cleared, Shiozaki was nowhere near the crater. She had been thrown out of bounds. She was covered in debris and scratches and coughed as she looked up at her. Yasha just grinned as the whistle blew and her name was called. "Shiozaki has been thrown out of bounds! Yasha Bakugou moves onto the next round."

Yasha made her way off the field and into the tunnel entrance where Mina and Pony were waiting. Mina pulled her into a tight hug. "I'm so proud of you baby girl! You did amazing out there!"

She felt her cheeks heat up at the praise "T..Thank you baby."

Mina kissed her and whispered, "You're so cute when you get flustered."

Yasha knew her cheeks were bright pink by now. "S..Shut up."

As soon as Mina had released her, Pony attacked her with a hug as well. Yasha hugged the shorter girl back. "That fight was for you. You shouldn't have to deal with her bullshit."

Pony looked up at her with wide eyes, "Really?"

She nodded, "Yes, we gotta stick together."

Pony hugged her tighter, "Thank you for sticking up for me, Yasha."

After a long fight with Todoroki, who used his fire because of his fight with Izuku earlier, Yasha ended up winning the final battle. Then there was the award ceremony. Yasha stood on the first place podium and waited for All Might to put the medal around her neck.

All Might slipped the medal around her neck and smiled at her. "Young Yasha! You did absolutely amazing out there. You are on your way to being a fine young hero."

Yasha absolutely beamed up at her hero. The man she had always respected. "I'm going to be the future number one hero. I'm going to surpass you and make you proud."

He grinned down at her, "I have no doubts about that, but just know Yasha, I am already proud of you."

Yasha felt tears threaten to spill over, but she blinked them away. "T..Thank you, All Might."

At the end of the day, Yasha, Mina, and Izuku made their way through the gates as they left Yuuei to go home, and they found someone waiting at the gates of their school. Kariage was there waiting at the gates.

Yasha hadn't seen him in months. His hair was a little longer but still cut into an undercut. He had a septum piercing in now and another stick and poke tattoo on his forearm.

Seeing him kind of made her feel sick. Mina instantly grabbed her hand and she heard Izuku growl. "What is he doing here?"

Before Yasha could grab him, Izuku was making his way towards Kariage. Her and Mina walked quickly to catch up with him but he was already glaring at Kariage. "What in the hell are you doing here?"

Kariage just looked past Izuku to her, "Hey Yasha."

Yasha kind of hid herself behind Mina so she didn't have to talk to him. Izuku snapped, "Don't talk to her. What are you doing here?"

She could see Kariage roll his eyes. "I'm waiting to pick up my girlfriend and walk her home."

Izuku snarked, "Does she know you're a cheating prick?"

Kariage glared, "Just because you've got a fancy quirk now and you've gotten bigger doesn't mean I won't put you on your ass, Izuku."

"Kariage? What's going on? How do you know students from 1A?"

One of the girls from 1B, Kodai, if Yasha remembered correctly, walked up to them. She stood by Kariage as his arm snaked around her waist. "Everything's fine sweetheart. We can just go. Tell me about your day. I don't really know them anyway."

Mina put her hands on her hips. "Really? You don't know them? You, Yasha, and Midoriya were best friends for what? Ten years? Plus you dated and then cheated on Yasha, but you don't know her?"

Kodai looked up at Kariage, with hurt in her eyes, "Kari is that true?"

Kariage glared at them before he looked down at Kodai and his eyes softened. "Yui, yes it's true. I made a huge mistake and did something really stupid, but I would never do something like that to you. I love you darling, you know that right?"

Kodai softly smiled, "I know, Kari. I love you too. We'll talk about it later."

That kind of hit Yasha in the gut. She didn't have any remaining feelings for Kariage, but to learn he didn't even care about her enough to not cheat on her was hard to swallow.

Mina scoffed, "You didn't care enough to not cheat on Yasha though. You never deserved Yasha. You're just a cheating asshole."

Kariage seethed, "Mind your damn business." He muttered but Yasha heard him. "Fucking pink bitch."

Yasha was not going to let him talk about Mina that way. She made her way to him and squared up with him. He was easily over a foot taller than her, but she didn't give a shit. "Don't fucking call Mina a bitch. That's my girlfriend. That's the woman I love, and I will defend her, so watch your fucking mouth before I knock you on your ass."

Kodai made her way in between them and looked up at Kariage, "Kari, let's just go, okay? We'll talk about everything later."

Kariage stared at her for a moment longer before he looked down at Kodai. "Okay Yui, let's go."

Yasha watched the two of them walk the opposite way of the train station. She grabbed Mina's hand and poked Izuku in the shoulder so the three of them could start walking home.

As they walked, Yasha walked in the middle. She held Mina's hand and let her head rest on Izuku's shoulder. She squeezed Mina's hand. "Thank you for standing up for me, baby."

Mina smiled at her. "I will always stand up for you. That asshole never deserved you. You deserve the best, Yasha."

Yasha smiled back at the pinkette, "That's why I have you."

She then looked up at Izuku who was still sporting a deadly glare. She flicked the side of his head. "Hey, I appreciate you standing up for me too. You know you're going to be the number two hero, so that means no murdering people, even if they are cheating ex boyfriends."

Izuku looked down and a smile finally made its way to his face. "I will always stand up for you, you're my little sister." He smirked at her, "Plus I heard that number two hero comment. I'm going to be number one, you just wait and see."

Izuku had grown taller than her. He was probably a good six inches taller than her now and he had put on a lot of muscle, but she was still older. "I'm your older sister, you ass. Plus the only thing I'm going to be seeing is me being the future number one."

He just smirked again and ruffled her hair, which he knew she hated. "Whatever you say, little sis." He then took off running down the street.

Mina smiled and shook her head while letting go of her hand and held it out for her. Yasha grinned as she gave her school bag to her girlfriend so she could take off down the street after Izuku.

Kariage was the furthest thing from her mind as she ran after Izuku.

Later that night at the dinner table, her and Izuku were still at it. She stuck her tongue out at him when their moms weren't looking. He rolled his eyes at her, so she decided to go in for the kill. "Mom, momma, Izuku has been picking on me all day."

She could see her mom smirk as Inko tried to hide her giggle. Inko looked at Izuku, "Izuku? Are you picking on your little sister?"

Izuku shook his head. "I'm not picking on her. She started it."

Her mom snickered, "Be nice to your little sister."

Yasha stuck her tongue out at him again, but then she registered what her moms had said. She crossed her arms. "I'm not his little sister! I'm older by like three months. I'm the one that protects him and makes sure he doesn't kill himself doing something stupid."

Izuku just shrugged, "You give off little sister energy."

She seen her mom's both nod in agreement. She threw her arms up, "What does that even mean?"

Her family just laughed as she grumbled and grabbed another piece of her pork with her chopsticks, trying to hide her own smile. She loved them, even if they were annoying sometimes.

Yasha woke up the next morning to a message from Kariage. She glanced at it. "I'm so sorry Yasha." She didn't bother reading the rest of it. She didn't want to hear any of his excuses from how he had acted. She'd go through her phone later and delete the message and block his number. Which she honestly should have done already.

Her and Izuku made their way to school and met up with Mina and Kirishima at the gates. As the four of them walked into school and through the hall, she could tell something was up. People were staring and whispering, she just didn't know about what. She didn't know if it was about her, or someone else. She just didn't like it.

They made their way into their class and immediately Yaoyorozu and Jirou made their way up to her and hugged her. Yaoyorozu had red rimmed eyes like she had been crying. "Yasha, I don't know who but someone outed you. I tried to call you to warn you, but you didn't pick up. Yasha, I'm so sorry."

Yasha felt Mina's grip on her hand tighten, and she could see green lightning dance around on her right side. This couldn't be happening. It just couldn't. She could feel her body start to shake. Who would have told? Why would they have told?

Her thoughts immediately went back to the message she got from Kariage. She dug out her phone to check the message. She also had messages and missed calls from Yaoyorozu and all the other girls. She went to Kariage's message. "I'm so sorry Yasha. I made a huge fucking mistake. I was pissy and I was ranting to Yui yesterday and I accidentally told her you were trans. She promised she wouldn't say anything, but I'm still so sorry Yasha."

It wasn't until she heard someone shout "queer" from the hallway that she finally broke, but luckily Mina was there to catch her and hold her close as she fell apart.

Chapter Text

Kariage was pissed off as he set his backpack down on the floor before he sat down on his bed next to his girlfriend. He was aggravated at Yasha, Ashido, and Izuku at first and some of that aggravation was still there but he was mainly pissed at himself and his past mistakes.

He had planned on telling Yui about his past with Yasha and how things had ended, but he just hadn't yet because he was terrified. He had fallen so hard for Yui and he didn't want to mess things up with her, but maybe that's what he had done by not telling her.

What he did to Yasha was a mistake. A stupid, stupid mistake. He hurt her and he knew he did, and what was worse is that he never tried to fix it. He just let her go and didn't even try to apologize again. He never went to her and apologized. Even a 'Hey, I'm sorry I was a cheating prick and basically implied you weren't a real girl. Whoopsie' would have been better than just ignoring her.

He still hated a part of himself because of what he said to her that day. He was angry about getting caught and he just said something stupid.

Yasha was just as real as Mai was, even if they had different parts. That didn't make Yasha any less of a woman.

Mai gave him a different kind of attention than Yasha did and he found himself liking Mai and Yasha at the same time. He should have just talked to them both and maybe something could have been worked out, but instead he went behind both of their backs.

He spent more time with Mai and less time with Yasha, and he thought that was okay, especially when he could tell something was up between Yasha and Ashido. When he could tell something was up with the two of them, he felt better about what he was doing when he shouldn't have. That's when he slept with Mai.

He loved who Yasha was and how close they were and their past, and he loved what he could do with Mai.

Gods he's such a jackass. He deserved to lose Yasha and Mai that day, and to get chewed out by his mother. A part of him was sure his mom would never fully forgive him for what he did to Yasha that day, and he can't honestly blame her.

Then Yui came into his life by pure chance and he fell for her harder than he had ever fallen for someone.

Right now she was sitting on the bed, waiting for him to explain everything and he knew he had to. He was going to tell her every shitty detail and just hope beyond hope that she still loved him after, even if he didn't deserve it.

Kariage sighed and ran a hand over the shaved part of his head. "Okay, so what Ashido said was true. I've known Yasha and Izuku, well Bakugou and Midoriya as you know them, since we were little. It was the three of us against the world and I fucked it up by cheating on Yasha."

He could see the hurt in her eyes and he hated that he was the one to put it there. He shook his head, "It was such a stupid mistake. I was an arrogant asshole who was just worried about how I was feeling. I destroyed three friendships and two relationships that day and said something I never should have said."

Yuki wouldn't look at him. "So you've really known Bakugou and Midoriya for most of your life, and you didn't tell me? Or that you actually cheated on Bakugou?"

He looked down at his feet. "I've known Izuku and Yasha since we were five. Even if back then, she was Katsuki. We were always.."

His eyes went wide with what he had just said. He looked over to see if Yui had heard him or not and it looked like she unfortunately had. "What do you mean she was Katsuki? Bakugou's first name was Katsuki?"

Kariage stumbled over his words, "Uh..I didn't..I meant.."

He watched her look over to his dresser at a picture of him and a young Yasha. They loved to hike and they had just walked a huge trail by themselves and Yasha's mom had taken their picture when they had gotten back.

Yasha was completely different from when she was young. She looked completely different of course, but she still had the same piercing red eyes and untamable blonde hair, even if it was way longer now. It must have been enough for Yui to connect the dots. "Bakugou's trans, isn't she?"

Kariage finally looked at her, he didn't answer her question but what he said was basically enough of an answer, "You have to promise that you won't tell anyone." He dropped his head in his hands and mumbled, "I can't believe I just outed her. What the fuck else can I do to her?" He looked back up at his girlfriend, "Yui. You can't tell anyone. She deserves a good life. She spent so much time being angry and miserable as a kid, she deserves to be happy and be herself."

Yui put a hand on his own, "Kari, I promise I won't say anything."

He clenched his other fist, the hand she wasn't holding, "I just don't want her to be treated like that other poor girl you've told me about."

Yui made a humming noise, so he turned to look at her. "I was wondering why Bakugou and Tsunotori had gotten so close out of nowhere. That makes sense now. Bakugou has turned into Tsunotori's biggest protector."

He made her promise not to tell again before he told her everything else about what had happened. He could tell she was disappointed in him and was hurt, but she said she still loved him and they would work through this. That's all he could ask for, was for her to give him a chance and believe him when he said that he would never do anything like that again.

When Yui left that evening, he was confident she wouldn't tell anyone so he wasn't worried.

Kariage had always had shitty sleep patterns, it was something Yasha always got on him for, something he missed hearing, so he was still awake when he got a call from Yui around midnight. He accepted her call with a tired mumble, "Hey Yui, what are you still doing up?"

He immediately sat up in bed when he heard a sniffle on the other end. "Yui, what's wrong?"

There was a light sniffle and a sob, "I accidentally outed Bakugou."

He immediately gripped the phone tighter. There had to be some kind of mistake. He knew Yui wouldn't purposely hurt Yasha. "Yui, breathe and talk to me? What happened?"

He heard her sniffle and move around, probably to wipe her eye and nose. "I was talking to Reiko like I do every night, and I let it slip about Yasha."

That wasn't too bad. He knew Reiko, they were friends and her and Yui were best friends. Reiko was a shy and sweet girl. He knew she wouldn't say anything. "Reiko won't.."

Yuki interrupted him with a sob, "Shiozaki was with her and heard me tell her! Shiozaki is the one who outed Tsunotori! I just ruined Bakugou's life!"

Kariage felt his whole body tense. Shiozaki. From what Yui had told him before, she was an intolerant bitch. If she knew, he had no doubt everyone would know about Yasha by morning.

He felt tears well up in his eyes so he pulled at his hair because he didn't deserve to cry. He had ruined Yasha's life. This was more than just hurting her in the moment, he had actually ruined her life.

-

Yasha had held onto Mina and cried until Aizawa had come into the room where Yaoyorozu explained to him what happened. She had never seen her teacher so angry and he promised they would get to the bottom of who outed her.

He then allowed Mina to help her to the bathroom to clean up her makeup. It took her everything she had not to go home, especially after she had messaged her mom about what happened and started crying again.

Kariage had outed her. He told Kodai, and Kodai must have told. Why would she have done that? Her and Kodai were civil towards each other. Why would she do that to her?

Through the first few hours, her class seemed extremely accepting and nice. Which she wasn't entirely surprised, they had all been kind to Pony. It wasn't until they were about to head to the locker rooms to change into their hero gear did she see not all of them were accepting as she thought.

It started with the gross grape kid, Mineta. He raised his hand right before they left class. "Sensei, is it really..safe for Yasha to change around the real girls?"

Yasha wanted to curl in on herself. She hated when people insinuated that she wasn't a real girl.

Mina stuck her hands on her hips, "One, Yasha IS a real girl. Two, don't you dare insinuate that Yasha would hurt one of us. Three, you open your mouth about my girlfriend again and I'll melt your eyes out of your skull."

This prompted people to discuss her identity like it was nothing. Ojiro shrugged, "I think Mineta is being a little harsh, but maybe there's a place Yasha can change alone. That's fair to everyone."

Satou nodded, "The girls need protected."

Yasha could hear Jirou growl. "We do not need to be protected from Yasha. She's a girl, just like us. You all are being stupid. All of us knew about Yasha. She's a regular girl."

Mineta was about to speak up again but there was a flash of green lightning and then Aizawa was yelling at them. "Enough of this." Yasha looked up to see her teacher's eyes wide and blood shot with his hair floating. It was then she noticed he had erased Izuku's quirk before he could go after Mineta.

Her teacher sighed as he released Izuku's quirk and looked at the rest of the class. "I will not force anyone to change their beliefs, you have to do that on your own, but in my class you will respect one another, and that means respecting Yasha for who she is."

He looked at Yaoyorozu, "Are any of you uncomfortable with Yasha?"

Yaoyorozu got a little defensive, "We already knew about Yasha. None of us are or have ever been uncomfortable because of who Yasha is. She is a girl, just like the rest of us."

Aizawa sensei's lips ticked upwards into a smirk. "That settles that then. I will hear no more discussion on the matter." His face turned serious again. "If I hear of any harassment taking place. There will be consequences. You're training to be heroes. Act like it."

They were dismissed and they all started to walk towards the gym. As they walked, Mina walked on one side of her and Izuku on the other, with the rest of the girls forming a small barrier around her. Somehow her ADHD-riddled friend, Kaminari, made his way through her side. He looked at her before whispering, almost in awe, "You're just like me."

She was about to get mad, because was he calling her a guy? She thought he was supposed to be one of her closest friends, but then he continued. "I'm a trans guy."

It clicked in her brain. He could relate to her because they were the same. Different, but the same. He smiled at her. "Someone I look up to is just like me. Well not exactly the same, but close."

That warmed her chest. He looked up to her? His smile faded slowly. "Nobody knows except for you, Kirishima, and Sero. I'm sorry you were outed. Nobody deserves that."

It wasn't until after heroics did she learn that Kaminari had come out to all of the guys. Izuku told her that instead of changing in the stall like he usually did, he changed in front of all of them and told them that if anyone had a problem with her then they had a problem with him.

It warmed her heart more than she could ever explain and she wanted to tell him that, but as they were heading to lunch, her, Mina, and Izuku ran into Shiozaki.

Shiozaki looked her up and down. "I should have known. You look like a guy and act like a guy because you're truly nothing but a sick guy pretending to play dress up."

Yasha knew she wasn't a guy and that she passed, she knew Shiozaki was trying to purposely hurt her, and she hated to admit that it was working. She felt her lip start to tremble again, but she held firm. "Leave me the hell alone, fucking bitch."

Shiozaki huffed, "You can't even pretend to talk like a dignified woman."

Mina started to walk towards Shiozaki and growled. "Don't talk about my girlfriend that way."

Before Yasha could pull Mina back. Kodai interrupted all of them. "Shiozaki! Stop! Leave her alone."

Yasha heard Mina growl again, "You! This is all your fault. Why do you care?"

Yasha turned to look at Kodai, who wouldn't look her in the eye. "It was all an accident. Kari accidentally told me and I accidentally slipped up and told someone, the only reason it got out was because Shiozaki overheard."

Shiozaki just snorted. "This school should be thanking me for exposing another pretend woman. I'm doing everyone a service."

"Y..You leave Yasha alone!" Yasha knew that quiet voice, as Pony came marching up to Shiozaki. "I'm not going to let you push her around."

Right before Pony was able to activate her quirk, alarms started blaring through the hallway.

Yasha knew what those alarms meant.

A villain attack.
