My favorite master builder. (Coppernauts) [hiatus!]

Summary:

Bad Cop has traumas on his disfigured face from "Good Cop" so he's forced himself to just be tough. But what happens when you have to solve a mystery of a mysterious being breaking, scratching and...biting Legos? And you need a Master Builder to solve the case? Well, maybe an enthusiastic astronaut will help him and his traumas too.

I'm taking a small break, but don't worry! I still have ideas.

Notes:

AAAAAA, English isn't my first lenguage but i'm with the LEGO hyperfixation.
(Oh! And maybe i will add drawings to the future.)

Chapter 1: Missing a good cop.

Chapter Text

After all the events of the first film, everything was normal and many citizens returned to their normal jobs and lives.
President Bussines opened his own Golf company...Yes, he still liked to make money, what could you say?
Emmet and his friends started to get closer after all their adventures and always had meetings (they finally invited Emmet after a while.)

But what about Bad Cop/Good Cop?
He spent much of his life acting tough and ignoring his "softer" side after all the treatment from Mr. Bussines and the pressure of his job.
Could he be the "cool neighbor cop" again?
He tries, he tries very hard to do his normal job, fight crime, issue taxes, patrol dangerous streets...
But I didn't feel anything anymore. After everything he went through at his old job and with his authoritarian boss, he didn't know if he could be the same as before.
Sure, he had recovered his "good side" But not everyone had gotten used to his new form.
A face…drawn in an unusual way, eyes that just looked like scribbles, and a smile that looked too out of place.
Bad Cop had decided to hide that facet, although he had recovered it and WANTED to be his true self again, he knew he couldn't. The other citizens were scared, ignored him or avoided making eye contact.

—Sounds of cars could be heard on the road, quite fast. Most likely above the allowed limit.
A few seconds later police sirens could be heard.
The first car stopped, The citzien knew it was in trouble, the driver knew he was over the limit, He was just hoping the cop would take a bribe or...Be nice.
The policeman knocks on the car window, the driver slowly lowers it and proceeds to say.
—"Hello officer... any problem?"
the driver asked kindly, although with a tone of concern and discomfort.
The policeman only stared at him with a growl, his facial expression could not be deciphered much from his angry lips. He had semi-gray sunglasses that completely covered his eyes.

A kick was heard on the door, ouch, it must have left a dent in the car.
—"DO YOU KNOW WHAT SPEED YOU WERE GOING?! EH? LITTLE CITIZEN?"
The policeman shouted. Nothing nice as the citizen wanted.
—"WOWOWOW- Sorry! I just wanted to get home early and see the new episode of Where Are My Pants-"
His sentence was cut short abruptly when the police officer quickly opened the car door and pulled him by his shirt.
—"DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT THAT PROGRAM!...They should have canceled it a long time ago."
He said this as he brought it closer to his face, in a more sour tone than before.
—''NOW YOU WILL GIVE ME YOUR DOCUMENT SO I CAN GIVE YOU A PENALTY!''
He practically yelled at the citizen and then let him go by his shirt, and looked at him with an unreadable face, except for his growl. He followed the poor, nervous citizen with his head while he went inside his car and looked for his papers.

The citizen grabbed his papers and gave them to the policeman, trembling.
—"H-here you go-"
Even his throat was trembling.

-"THANK YOU." the policeman shouted with all his lungs and anger.
Was he trying to be nice? Was it a sarcastic thank you? Did he have anger problems? The poor citizen will never know.
The police officer continued to write down notes in his notebook and then tore off the page with quite a bit of aggression, gave it to the citizen and grunted at him, looking at him with a (probable) look of displeasure.
Then he began to walk towards his police car, the citizen gave a shaky sigh, the nightmare had passed.

When out of nowhere he began to hear boots walking towards him quickly, in less than a second he turned around and saw how the police officer ripped out the chair that was next to the driver.
He threw the chair to the ground and then went to it and kicked it back, without saying anything he returned to his car and drove away, finally leaving the poor citizen alone and confused.
—Current scene from Bad cop's perspective—

—I was angry, what was wrong with that citizen, "HOW DARE YOU GO PASS THE SPEED LIMIT LIKE THAT-"
The policeman thought aggressively, but then his mind cleared.
"...maybe I was too hard on him? After all, we all have a favorite show...I mean, I don't watch television anymore- I don't do anything fun, but I feel a little bad-"
He cut his own sentence short when he saw in the car mirror, his face had changed to the disfigured and unrecognizable face of "Good Cop".
But he had to see his face destroyed again, unrecognizable and hideous.
He couldn't take it, it would scare anyone, he had to have all the memories in his mind again, he couldn't take it anymore and he stopped the car suddenly in the middle of the road, returning to his "bad" face.
—"... Stupid face, who needs one? Who needs a good cop anyway? What this city needs is control. After all President Business went to his stupid golf course and hardly does anything to help to society!"
He said to himself with grunts and a low voice, having a conversation with himself. It was obvious that he had not forgiven that guy for everything, he made him be on the side of the "bad guys", he overexploited him! forced him to put glue on his own parents...And disfigured his face, leaving him without many options when he had to be "nice."

He decided to get out of the car to walk on the empty road, it was the world of cowboys...
After everything happened, the worlds were united and no one was looking for the "master builders" anymore so everything was at peace.
Except for the fact that "Emmet and his friends" didn't want to know much about him.
After all, he tried to capture them and send them to President Business, he understood if they didn't want to talk to him.

Emmett was calm about the subject and he was always of the "we can all be friends!" mentality, but Lucy? she was spiteful... "just like me"
Bad cop said out loud to himself.
Batman? He wasn't interested in talking to him and he knew that he could be just as spiteful or worse, MetalBeard had a strange accent and for some reason Bad Cop didn't like the way he dressed... Probably because he got used to "formal" things like that. that seeing a Lego without his original body or face was strange...
Oh wait.
Bad Cop tried to get those thoughts out of his head again and began to take short walks near his car observing the previously forbidden and hidden landscapes.
Unikitty? I didn't have anything against her but...too much pink, but she's going to admit that her angry version could be cool...at least she was able to keep both versions-
"Damn! I'm thinking about that again...let it go now! I can't show that "side" to the world...it's gone, it's disgusting and it will never be the same again." Bad Cop thought pessimistically and tried to remove those memories with new thoughts.
"...Those...are all of them, right? All of Emmett's group- oh right, the space boy from the 80s...Huh, it's strange, I've never seen him resentful of me...but I haven't talked to him either."
thought bad cop about the blue astronaut.
They hadn't had many interactions, other than trying to capture him, but for some reason...he doesn't remember any displeased look on "Benny's" face.
"That was...his name, right?"
Bad cop thought to himself.

For some reason, he was thinking about the astronaut, he had never thought about him specifically, but the idea that someone in that group of friends didn't hate him (aside from Emmet) didn't displease him.
He was completely lost in thought when he felt something strange on the ground.
"Ouch! but what the-"
He looked down and...The floor had...scratches? small holes? It was as if they had tried to break that piece of ground. "But who...?"
As far as he knew, everything was normal. Well maybe MORE than normal with a thousand and one crazy builds going around...but I had never seen a piece like that and it looked broken on purpose...But not even MetalBeard and his big arms could have done that kind of damage .

"I need to know what kind of thing did this damage...but I don't know about constructions- and even less about what things would hurt them, maybe some master builder knows about this, after all it is their forte"
He thought bad cop looking in all directions, but he didn't find anyone
"...And my only strong point is yelling at everyone."
He added pessimistically in his head.—"I need to talk to a master builder."
He said affirmatively to himself and got into his car again, driving back to the city.
