Tears
The faint glow reflected on the girl's face as she was on her bed scrolling through her phone a blanket yet ever so slightly on top of her, As she absent-mindedly scrolled through her phone she stopped. After a few seconds which felt like hours she thought to herself 'I closed my bedroom door so why is it...' she thought to herself as she saw from the corner of her eye the door opened halfway. Tilting her phone ever so slightly to the right as well her knees there a tall figure stood her head reaching the top of the doorframe taking up all the light from the outside of her door. His red lime eyes seemed to glow... he was tall with his body covering the entirety of the doorframe that was wide open. She couldn't move. A throbbing pain at the back of her head with a horrible thick thread of fear struck her as she made direct eye-to-eye contact with it. Her heart beating so loud as if it was coming out of her chest. The sound of her heart beating was all she could hear as a static-like sound started to take over as the creature-like..thing.... shut the door with a soft yet loud ..thud.. It was almost as if time unfroze for her. She swiftly turned on her flashlight as she sat up from her lying position. She couldn't utter a sound out of her throat almost like she couldn't speak. 'Mom' was all she could think of screaming, yelling for her mother, crying, and running to her but she couldn't run or talk much less get up. She messaged her mother a barrage of messages.

Seen
She looked at the screen desperately hoping for those three typing dots to appear. Anything... those seconds felt like years. She could feel the ball in her throat and an itching headache emerged as her vision slowly started to become a blurred-out mess cleared out for a second and returned to the same blurred mess. The tears dropped on the phone screen where the seen. A small but horrible thing to get. Minutes passed which felt slower at a horribble the sounds of loud sniffles echoed in the room. She turned the flashlight on her phone off and her phone entirely, now in a dark... cold room, the rustling of the bedsheets as she got under them just as a 5-year-old would balling into a small ball as she shut her eyes tight. As tightly as she could the trembling over he body started as she felt the presence behind her the tears never stopped flowing as it felt like a never-ending drip of a waterfall letting the darkness of her dreams with a single thought in her head... 'I should've gone to bed, after all, huh...' as she felt her body get goosebumps from the col hitting her as she realized something was pulling her bedsheets off one final tear ran down her face as she curled into a tighter ball one final thing left in her mind. 'Mom'
