As the sun rose on november 30 ellie woke up to the smell of her favorite food, as he got out of bed they remembered that Akasshi had stayed over to take care of the birthday party decorations.
She walked into the kitchen to see him putting her food on the table and greeted her “Good morning! happy birthday Ellie i think this is gonna be the best one yet!” Ellie sat down and replyed, “Thank you! lets hope” they both smiled and started eating before Bokuto slammed open the door and sang (screamed) “ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY YOU SURVIVED ANOTHER YEAR YOU ARE MY FAVORITE FRIEND I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY” before ellie had time to respond they heard another voice “Ellie is your favorite? im crushed” Kuroo stepped into the house “Hiii ellie happy birthday i didn’t get you a you present” he said and winked
bokuto deflated and looked back at him “YOUR STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITES I SWEAR” akasshi stood up and greeted him with a kiss which immediately calmed him down “its ok bokuto he’s s just joking” as the tree sit down the last house guest walks in head stuck in his game “Happy birthday” kenma says using his foot to close the door, he sits down and continues his game.
Ellie looks around at their friends and smiles everyone is happy and she cant wait for later during the party, He goes to get up and wash the dishes but kuroo stops her and pushes then back into the seat “Its your birthday you aren’t lifting a finger” he says as he gathers the dishes and walks to the sink “How many more guest are there?” ellie asks “Oh just a few more should be here around 1 pm” Akasshi replies before answering a call and walking away Ellie checks the time its only 9am but its a great birthday so far
