10:00AM
It’s snowing rain outside, but it doesn’t stop Saeko holding her excitement to meet her girlfriend today. She’s quickly wearing her lip gloss, white gloves, baby blue coat, and her favorite tweed blazer dress. She also wears short boots to complete her outfit.
She can’t stop smiling when she meets Seong-hui today. It’s been 2 and half years since they started dating, and she hopes today went well on a date with her. She heard someone knocking her apartment door, and hoped that person was her girlfriend.
‘’Come in!’’ she says cheerfully, and her eyes were shining seeing her girlfriend. She couldn’t stop getting flustered in front of her, and tried to calm herself.
The way that Seong-hui looks at her lovingly makes Saeko’s heart grow, and she wonders where she will bring her to today. Maybe a little shopping date, going to a cafè together—
—her cheeks gets redder, redder and redder when she thinks about it. And when she looks at her again, she looks very mature and elegant with her navy blue Chanel blazer dress and Jimmy Choo black heels.
“U-uh…h-hi!” Saeko mutters nervously, trying to hide her red cheeks—but failed. Seong-hui chuckles.
“Guess I’m too early, darling,” she said, as she still stands at her apartment door, “but nevermind. I heard there will be another snow rain, so we should be careful…and bring an umbrella too.”
Saeko nods quickly, and takes that umbrella from Seong-hui’s hand. Her hands were shaky seeing that umbrella was from a luxury brand.
“Are you crazy?! I know, I sound too weird or something, but this umbrella is 5,000 yen! Aren’t you not worried—”
She interrupts Saeko, and chuckles again. “That’s fine. I don’t mind it. We have a date, Sa-chan. Umbrellas doesn’t matter as long as I’m here with you. I can buy you something , too.”
Her heart beats faster listening to her words. Before she goes out with her, she quickly cleans her room, switching the lights off, and locking her apartment before she leaves.
“Wait for me!”

“Do you mind if we watch some old romantic movies?” Saeko asks softly, while she and Seong-hui stopped walking from her apartment and saw an old building that was not too far from her’s.
She smiled, and strokes Saeko’s hair. “Sure. I love old romantic movies, darling. I knew this place since I was a kid before because this is the only cinema that played old movies.”
Her eyes sparkled , seeing her girlfriend was excited to watch old romantic movies with her in an old cinema makes her heart flutter.
“Come on. Let’s go in. I’ll treat you to your favorite coffee after this.”
Saeko nods while she pulls her hand to the cinema, feeling herself excited to see and watching an old movie with Seong-hui today.

an hour later…
11:30AM
“Did you see that?! That scene was really funny…and romantic! The girl was trying to save her girlfriend, and then…she fell into a big hole with her! And they both were laughing in that hole, after they were rescued…they kissed! That’s so funny!’’ she exclaims happily, after watching that movie.
Seong-hui realizes that there's snow on Saeko’s tweed, and she quickly cleans the snow dust on her shoulder. She was surprised, but tried to calm herself—and failed again.
“There's snow on your dress,” Seong-hui says, “did you realize it? I’ll clean it.”
“You don’t have to!” Saeko says, holding her hand before she cleans it. “I’m fine with it, seriously! I mean…it’s just a little snow that falls on my tweed dress!’’
‘’Really?’’
‘’I’m serious! It’s just a snow, you know…I can clean it with my napkin, you don’t have to worry about it.’’
She sighs, then smiles. The two of them walked through, and they’re both trying to find a nice cafe in the morning like this, and wanting to drink a coffee together.

‘’Here you go.’’
Seong-hui offers a coffee to Saeko, and she quickly takes it from her hand. She knows well her favorite coffee was an iced mocha latte, but one thing that keeps bugging her mind was how well that Seong-hui liked Americano coffee, whether it’s hot or cold. She keeps staring at her with her curious eyes, while she drinks her coffee.
She was surprised. How come?
‘’Are you okay with drinking Americano on mornings like this?’’ Saeko asked curiously, and stared at her. ‘’I mean…Americano coffee has strong caffeine, so…I’m kinda worried that you can’t handle the caffeine. I’m just curious!’’
‘’I’m fine with Americano,’’ she sighs, ‘’besides, I’m also fine with its high caffeine. Drinking coffee in the morning with you…feels really calming. I liked it.’’
She nodded, and her cheeks were flustered hearing her words. After all, she was right. Drinking coffee with her girlfriend was really calming, and romantic. She hopes her feelings for Seong-hui never change.
‘’Can we buy plushies too?!’’ Saeko says, her eyes sparkled, seeing a toy store next to a coffee shop they were in. ‘’I wanted to see some cute plushies! It’s been a long time I haven’t saw them, can I?’’
She smiles softly. ‘’Sure, darling. Let’s see them.’’
She screams softly, and walks through a toy store with her. The toy store looks pretty, some says that the toy store already existed in the 80s. She saw a lot of bunny dolls or cute toys inside with Seong-hui, and wanted to buy some of the plushies for her and her girlfriend.
She remembers how kind Seong-hui is, from their first date and she comforts her when she’s sad. She remembers how she approached her first after she broke up with her ex-boyfriend, and confesses her love to her. And now, she’s very happy after their 2 year relationship.
‘’I liked this one! You mind if I buy—’’
Saeko gasps, seeing two medium-sized Wish me mell plushies on her hands. How does she finds out and knew that her favorite character was Wish me mell?
‘’I’ve always heard that you wanted a Wish me mell plushies, so I bought two for you, darling,’’ Seong-hui says softly, and kisses her cheek. ‘’I know, I've been overhearing your words since last month that you wanted these plushies, so…I’m sorry for that, and also, gift for you.’’
Her eyes sparkled, and her cheeks were getting red. ‘’You don’t have to say sorry for these plushies, Seong-hui! This is so cute! I loved it!’’
She smiles at her, cupping her cheek softly. She leans towards Saeko, and kisses her lips softly. A date without fancy things and restaurants…seems really not bad. Just spending their time together is the best.
