Normally, people would always see the more good in Craig because he’s like, the cutest in the class according to the girls, or he’s stoic, mostly calm, pretty mature, and he’s also funny. They usually didn’t really pay attention to how awesome Tweek was, but Craig sure did. Yeah, Tweek had a lot of problems, but Craig did too. Everyone had their own flaws and it didn’t have to degrade them so much. Tweek would sometimes ask how Craig even loved him, having so many people in the school he could’ve ended up with, but all Craig saw was the good in Tweek. His eyes were an ocean blue shade that slowly faded into a green.. and then to a yellow. The way he smiled so genuinely, how he was probably at the same strength as him, and honestly just everything about Tweek Craig found awesome. He always made Craig happy, and he had someone to love who loved him back. It was a hard feeling to describe, but it just felt good.
Dating was weird. Couple stuff was weird. Love as weird. Everything was weird to him. He would’ve never known he would end up loving his friend, but also his enemy for a short period of time. He had dated a girl before… but he didn’t really know what dating was. Actually, you could say he still doesn’t really know. Was that relationship even real? He never understood what dating and love and all that stuff was. It never really mattered to him. Girls were weird. But, getting randomly shipped with a boy one day was even weirder. Craig wasn’t even gay back then, but Tweek and Craig had gotten forced into this fake relationship because the town shipped them together. Then the fake breakup, then they pretended to get back together because the town was depressed. It was all old news at this point. But when they had gotten back together, Craig found himself slowly actually falling in love with Tweek. Enjoying his company, showing small signs of affection to each other, it felt better and better each time. Craig wouldn’t have been happier in his whole entire life and he didn’t even know how Tweek could bring this much happiness to him.
Tweek and Craig were honestly the least expected to even consider being paired together as a couple, but here they are. It didn’t make sense, but it felt good. It was weird. Craig thought love was weird. Craig thought everything was weird. But being the person who fell in love with someone he fake dated to make the town happy, especially that someone being a boy and he was also a boy, it probably made him even weirder. But if everything was weird, then it would be normal. He was always the one calming Tweek down, but if he had to be honest he could feel just a little at ease when Tweek’s with him. Nobody would’ve expected for Craig to care so much about a person. That’s what made everything weird. He used to think dating was gross, but oh have the tables turned. Craig smiled as he looked into Tweek’s eyes, next to him. Tweek noticed, and then smiled back. Rain gently tapped onto the window. Craig couldn’t have wished for anyone more perfect for him. That day, the day they got together actually was horrible, but he was so glad it happened because he wouldn’t be here with Tweek today if it didn’t.
“Can I say something?”
“Mhm?”
“I love you.”
“I love you more.”
