Shouto lives a happy life
He's a successful grad student and currently works alongside his bestfriend Momo as a vet at 'Puppy Paws' clinic
Shouto's family life over the years have improved with his mother now staying at home and his older brother touya along with his father has worked their issues with intensive therapy treatment
( it was very much needed )
so here he was with his family enjoying their annual get together every two weeks at his parents house eating his mother's cold soba
Shouto is at peace
"So Shouto, how's the love life? still boring?"
Shouto's peace was now broken
His older brother touya without a doubt always brings up shouto's boring love life at the table everytime just to tease him
Shouto, who's currently 23 has never brought home someone to his parents let alone mentioned anything about anyone, his family knew of his sexual orientation and never minded but always wondered if Shouto would ever get out and bring home a nice man
"Why do you ask?" Shouto shoots a glare at Touya who laughs at him and smacks shouto's shoulder softly
"The clocks ticking little brother, don't you know I wanna be an uncle" touya grins softly and takes a swing of his drink
"You have Natsuo and Fuyumi" Shouto tries to redirect the attention off of him but fails miserably
Shouto and touya are the only two out of the four siblings without children and Touya finds it amusing to bring up Shouto's non-existent love life and piss off his baby brother
"Hey don't throw us under the bus" Natsuo rolls his eyes and resumes his attention back to his phone; probably texting his wife
"Enough about pestering about shouto's love life touya, you don't have one either" their fathers voice booms throughout the dining room in a teasing tone and natsuo can't help but not hold back his laughter
"Wow touya, you gonna let the old man call you out" natsuo grins and points his finger at his older brother while his sister laughs behind her hand
"shut it natsuo" touya growls and crosses his arms angrily with a slight pout resting on his face while shouto holds a small victory grin and silently thanks his father for having his back

Shouto walked into the clinic with two coffees in hand for him and Momo. He walked in and greeted everyone with a smile and headed towards his station, he just knew it was going to be a good day
"For you Momo, what's the schedule like?" Shouto places the cup next to Momo who gladly accepted and thanked him with a smile
"We have two dogs, one snake, three cats and surprisingly one raccoon" Momo scanned over the clipboard and gave Shouto an insight of what his day will look like and what he will be doing for each animal
"A raccoon?"
"Oh Sho, you'll be surprised what types of pets people will have. Just be glad it's not a tiger"
"A tiger would be fun, it's just a giant cat"
"A tiger is nothing like Toru, Tigers kill while Toru sleeps" Momo teases Shouto about Toru; his cat who he loves more than anyone else
"Well let's get started" Shouto pats down his jacket and prepares his room for the animals
While preparing his clients and fulfilling his vet duties something tugs at the corners of shouto's mind
Shouto is fine being alone , he doesn't need anyone and besides he has Toru for company
Touya is just getting into his mind and Shouto scoffs at the thought of his older brother bullying him
Well Shouto wouldn't mind having someone to come home to and talk too; Toru is amazing company but she just meows back at him
Shouto also wouldn't mind having someone to hold him, to cherish him, kiss him, fuck him and well love him
He doesn't have time for anyone and everyone he has been involved with romantically just wants to sleep with him or can't stand him
'you're so stoic, so boring'
'we can fuck but not date, you're boring'
'you're lucky you got a pretty face with that attitude'
he recalls all the times every guy had called him boring or that he looks constipated but Shouto can't help but feel and act the way he is
sure they probably don't know his family life and the past he faced and he wouldn't just tell anyone about something so serious but Shouto isn't boring; midoryia and momo say he isn't
"you okay sho?" Momo snaps him out of his thoughts
"just thinking, nothing important" he tries brushing off the conversation and focuses on his current patient, a Dalmatian
"Is it something touya said?"
"No, i'm alright just a little tired" successfully ending that conversation Shouto makes sure to not look too lost in his thoughts so he doesn't get questioned again
sure he tells Momo everything and he means everything but he wanted to keep this to himself
He wanted to ask Momo how it was to be in a relationship but he didn't want to seem pathetic
"Todoroki, Momo! How's Wasabi?" Midoryia, another one of Shouto's bestfriends walks through the doors with a huge smile
Shouto recalls when he first met Midoryia in Uni and how quickly the green haired boy felt comfortable around him
"She's well, I have completed a couple scans on her and nothing major shows up. She just has the common cold; you should just keep her well fed alongside giving her water and I'll go ahead and give you a couple of antibiotics for her"
Shouto smiled at Midoryia who nodded and approached his dog and pet her
"Wasabi you're lucky you have the best vet ever" Midoryia pets his dog and smiles when she licks his face

Shouto was approaching the end of his work day but disaster struck with his last client
Kimchi the raccoon
"Come here Kimchi, everything will be okay" Shouto tried to reassure the raccoon but instead received a hiss
"It says here on the notes to try and persuade him with potato chips" Momo reads the file and laughs at the mention of Kimchi's favorite snack
Momo rushed to and from the vending machine and gave Shouto the bag of potato chips
Shouto began placing chips on the floor to lure out Kimchi but he seemed to scared to get out the cage he was occupying
"Maybe you should try getting in the cage and handing it to him, build some trust?" Momo's suggestion wasn't bad and he trusted his bestfriend and did exactly that
Shouto forced his broad shoulder to fit into the cage which worked and tried handing Kimchi the chip who just stared at him
"It worked!" A smile plastered shouto's face as he watched Kimchi happily munch away
His excitement quickly died when he felt well
Stuck
"You okay Sho?"
"I'm Stuck" before shouto could speak again laughter filled the room from Momo
"Are you sure? You can't squeeze out the way you squeezed in?" She continued laughing while Shouto sighed
"No nothing is working, I'm stuck in a cage with a raccoon"
He groans and decided that maybe he should've chose a different career path
"Why is Todoroki in a cage?" another voice fills the room, midoryia
"Shouto is stuck in the cage"
"I'll grab the butter"

The butter was NOT working
Instead the butter was making Kimchi's eyes glow as he tried to lick Shouto who had to dodge his attacks
"I know someone who can help, he's a firefighter"
"Do what you have to do before Kimchi eats me" Shouto groans as he two bestfriends laugh at him
He needs new friends

"How was the call?" Kirishima whose currently lounging on the couch at the fire station shoots a smile towards Bakugou who walks in grumpily
"Stupid, who gets their hand stuck in a pickle jar?" Bakugou growls and roughly gets out of his uniform
Bakugou has always wanted to be a hero growing up but sadly there wasn't some magical quirks to give him powers so he chose to be a firefighter
not only did it grant him to be a hero in some way but he also got to do it with someone he considered a best friend but he would rather drop dead than admit that out loud
"I remember when I got my head stuck in the dryer" Kaminari sighs while Kirishima laughs at him
"Yeah, you were trying to impress shinsou and failed" Sero chimes in teasing the blonde haired boy while he whined at the remark
"doesn't matter now, I got him wrapped up" kaminari cheers and flashes his engagement ring sitting pretty on his ring finger
Bakugou watched as his friends started laughing and talking over one another about other things and he couldn't help but tune away from the conversation
Bakugou has already reached the age of 25 and his love life is well
shit
Bakugou has always thought as a kid that by 25 he would be married to someone with kids and he hasn't reached any of that besides his age
It's not like bakugou cares about what younger him thinks but he feels as if time passes he won't find anyone to love
But then again, no one has reached his standards and everyone is boring
He wants someone to challenge him
Someone that excites him
His thoughts are interrupted as his phone blares playing 'Barbie girl' signaling him that Deku is calling
That damn no good nerd
"Kacchan? Are you working right now?"
"Yes, I'm at the station! What do you need you damn nerd"
"Don't be so rude, anyways I need you to come to Puppy Paws clinic"
"Is there a fire? and even if there is you should be alerting the police who will then alert the department dipshit"
"There isn't a fire, it's just well umm"
"I don't have all day Deku"
"My friend is stuck in the cage and we tried using butter to get him out and it's not working and now we don't know what to do and then there's a raccoon also in the cage and it might start trying to eat him cause he's covered in butter! Please help!"
"What the fuck? I'll be there in a bit"
"Be right back, some fuck head is stuck inside a cage" bakugou flips off his coworkers as they laugh at him and rushes out the door

The doors swing open and the sound of heavy boots can be heard, catching Shouto's attention
He never registered how exactly he looks but thank god he wore the pants that make his ass pop out since in every show he’s watched the firefighters are always hot
"Kacchan! Thank god you're here! He's right over there" Midoryia speaks fast to the new person occupying the room and quickly walks towards Shouto dragging the other male right behind
A silent pause fills the room and Shouto assumes it's the firefighter trying to figure out how to get Shouto out of this situation
A few moments pass and finally a voice speaks up
one of the most dreamiest, sexiest, breath-taking voice his ears have ever heard
where has this man been his whole life
"Deku tells me he used butter and didn't work so I'm gonna cut through the bars, just try not to move around or else you want to be cut" the man whose name is kacchan tells shouto and starts breaking through the metal cage
Shouto feels like he's going crazy, he's so embarrassed, even more embarrassed then that time he ate shit in front of the whole lecture hall of 200 students
While the metals bars are being broken the thoughts in shouto's mind are quiet; he wishes he was dead or that Kimchi will eat him alive
he wants nothing more but to just curl up with a good book and pet through toru's well cared for fur but instead he's stuck in a cage with his knees all over the floor
He silently thanks the cleaning lady who made sure the floors were nice and clean from all the pets coming in and out the clinic
As luck would have it, whenever someone mentions firefighters the first thing that pops up are 'hot and built'. Shouto prays the firefighter is nothing like his type so he doesn't fall head first
Shouto barely misses how his shoulder now feels free and not pressed together
"how are your shoulders?" Shouto stands and his knees almost buck at the sight of the male in front of him
the male; blonde hair with an undercut, red eyes, clean and clear skin with a couple of scars looks right at him
shouto's eyes travel from his face towards the man's body and what he was wearing; black shirt that might be a tad bit too tight since his muscles are poking out along with his pants showcasing his thighs
"are you deaf?" fingers snap at his face and Shouto is broken out of his drunken daze
"yes, wait i mean i'm fine not deaf! thank you ka-"
"Bakugou, Katsuki" he cuts off Shouto and rolls his eyes "Deku calls me that stupid nickname"
"Thank you Bakugou, I'm Todoroki, Shouto" he offers his hand towards the taller male who accepts it making shouto's heart flutter
What is he? Some dumbstruck teenage girl?
Before Shouto could continue talking to the firefighter the devil spawn himself crawls out the cage
"You treat raccoons?" Bakugou gives Shouto a perplexed look and Shouto nods
"I treat all kinds of animals, Kimchi wouldn't get out the cage so I went in with him" he cringes at the thought of him stuck in the cage like he was moments ago
"That's cute" Bakugou smirks and looks down at his phone which was buzzing and quickly looks up at Shouto "Look next time, don't go crawling into tight spaces unless you want me back here"
Bakugou says his goodbyes and packs his equipment and Shouto subtly tries to catch a glimpse of his muscles as he stretches and heads out
"That was kacchan? Your childhood friend Kacchan?! Why have you never showed me a picture of him" Shouto puffs out his cheeks and hides his blushing face with his hands
"You never asked me!" Midoryia defends himself and quickly catches onto why Shouto is a blushing mess "He's single, just in case you wanted to know"

"I think I'm in love" Shouto announces at his annual family gathering with no warning at all causing his family to erupt in some sort of shock like state
Natsuo chokes on water, His father and mother stare at their son with wide eyes, Touya laughs and Fuyumi tries to save Natsuo
"Well we are happy for you Shouto, no matter who they are" the soft voice of his mother resonates throughout the room and gives Shouto a calm feeling
"Wait so you're dating?" Natsuo finally recovers from his coughing fit "What's his name? How did you two meet?"
"We're not dating, I want to date him"
Shouto will absolutely NOT tell anyone about how many wet dreams he has had about the firefighter; many many nights
Shouto curses at himself for not getting the man's number and even debated asking midoryia but he didn't want to come off as weird
"Do you have a picture?" Fuyumi smiles and Shouto nods his head. He quickly scrolls through his and midoryia's texts and finds a picture he practically begged midoryia to send him
Have you no shame Shouto?
"Well he's definitely handsome" She perks up and passes the phone around and Shouto watches how everyone reacts
"How did you two meet?" asked his father who crossed his hands across his chest after giving Shouto back his phone
"He's a firefighter, he was called to come in and helps saw through the cages since an animal was stuck" of course he wasn't gonna mention that animal was actually himself and then get teased forever by his brothers
"You have his number?" murmured Natsuo
"No, not exactly but I will soon" he pouts and debates on if he should ask midoryia
"And how are you gonna do that? Park your car conveniently next to the fire station and accidentally lock your keys in there and wait for him to come and save you and get his number?"

Before he knew it, Shouto was standing across the fire station with his keys locked inside his car
He admits , this is pretty desperate but he couldn't care less dreaming about him and bakugou's future wedding
A few moments pass and Shouto decides bakugou is not going to come and rescue him like he imagined
Before Shouto could dial up a ride the sounds of heavy boots reach next to him
"Half n half" Shouto looks up and meets eyes with bakugou who has his arms crossed showing off his muscles that Shouto wants so badly to lick and claim "What're you doing here?"
"Bakugou, my keys are stuck in my car! I had to get something from the grocery store and was in a rush" Shouto scrambles to come up with a story about why he was exactly there
"The grocery store?" Bakugou points left towards the building and Shouto nods 'yes'
"Think that cage messed with your brain" he smirks and Shouto fails to recognize what he means until he looks at and sees the so called grocery store was actually a random playground
"I'm starting to think you came to see me shortcake" bakugou smirks as he gets to work trying to unlock todoroki's car "am I right?"
"no" they both knew that a was a lie and bakugou laughs at that
"you're friends with izuku?" shouto breaks the silence and bakugou nods "yes, been friends since elementary. he talks about you a lot , sho-chan" bakugou teases him and Todoroki goes red in the face matching shades with his hair
"that beats kacchan" he bites back and bakugou rolls his eyes
"stupid deku"
"kacchan"
"don't call me that, i can barely handle the nerd calling me that"
"what should I call you then? kacchan" he teases
bakugou waits and once the car is unlocked he looks back at Shouto and smirks
Bakugou takes a step fowards and gets close to Shouto
“How about you call me Katsuki” his hands moves todoroki’s hair behind his ear and he get’s close whispering in his ear “let me take you out princess”
“Only if you wear your uniform”
“This old thing? Hell no princess”
“Please? For me? You look so good in it”
“Since you’re asking so nicely”
“Gonna show me a good time?” Shouto’s hand lays on Katsuki chest and his smirks
“I’ll show you more than a good time, you’ll be running back to me”
“I’ll hold you up to that”
“I won’t disappoint you princess”
