IN THE PARALLEL WORLD, the Doctor and Rose find a girl who seems hardly human. Hardly supposed to be there, except she fell out of the sky and Lumic found an opportunity. Here, he thought, the gods have sent me proof that my designs are the future. You see, the girl who came to him, running from the rest of the universe, was not a girl at all. She was a Cyborg.
And the Doctor, being the two-hearted lover of all creatures that he is, sees the light left inside her, even when she believes it to be as dead as her metal heart. She only needs to see the universe ━ his universe, the one where she is not a wanted criminal, a renegade on the run ━ to see it.
