Will has planned this campaign for a while. He’s so excited to finally play dnd with the party again. Especially with Mike.
So they started the campaign. And Will seemed to be the only one who was really happy. Mike and Lucas seemed annoyed
They acted like they completely forgot how dnd works. Or maybe they did? They were anything but amazed
Suddenly the telephone rings.
“NO! ITS A DISTRACTION!” Will said. “ITS A TRAP, DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!” Will really didn’t want the others to destroy this. His half childhood got taken away. You really can’t blame him at this point.
Mike and Lucas got up anyway and Mike picked up the phone. Will couldn’t be more pissed at this point.
“El?” Mike said. It sounded completely inlove for Wills ears. It wouldn’t for anyone others ears.
“No sorry, not interested” Mike said disappointed. He hung up the phone.
Mike turned around from the telephone. “Marketers” he said. He sounded more annoyed than earlier.
“Maybe we should just call them” Lucas said.
“We can do that?” Mike said.
“I think so” Lucas said.
“Yeah but what do we sa-“ Mike says until Will interrupts him by saying. “WE SAY NOTHING” Will could punch Mike right now. “The *insert whatever he said idk* still needs your help!” Will said.
Maybe he should just give up on Mike.
“Alright then.” He says.
Then he finishes the campaign with a too fast sentence so I couldn’t write it down sry.
He gave Lucas a high-five.
“Victory” Lucas says emotionless.
Will trows his staff and his hat to the ground. “Fine” Will says. This time he was the one sounding annoyed.
“Congratulations” Will said. “Will I was just messing around!” Mike said.Will throws his costume to the floor. “Let’s finish fr” Mike said.
“How much longer is the campai-“ Mike said until Will interrupted him. “Just forget it Mike!” He said
“No, We wanna keep playing right?” Mike asked Lucas. “Y-y-yeah!” Lucas agrees.
“We’ll just call the girls afterwar-“ Mike tried to say. “I SAID FORGET IT!!!” Will said.
“I’m going home” he added rushing out.
“Cmon Will” Lucas said. Will replied with bumping into him and saying “move”.
Mike ran after Will.
Will rushed out of the door.
“Will cmon. You can’t leave it’s raining” Mike said. It wasn’t a comforting voice. It was the annoyed voice Will had to hear a lot lately.
“I said I’m sorry Will, alright? It’s a cool campaign. It’s really cool we’re just not in the mood-“ Mike said before Will interrupted him.
“YEAH THATS THE PROBLEM YOU GUYS ARE NEVER IN THE MOOD ANYMORE! YOUVE BEEN RUINING OUR PARTY” Will said.
“THATS NOT TRUE” Mike said. They’re both screaming now. “Really? Where’s Dustin right now?”
Silence.
“See. You don’t know and you don’t even care and he doesn’t either and I don’t blame him!” Will said. “Your destroying everything and for what? So you can swap spit with some stupid girl?”
“EL’S NOT STUPID. ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU DONT LIKE GIRLS!” Mike said. Mike immediately regrets it. Repeating all the homophobic stuff Will got told in his life.
Will literally couldn’t believe what Mike just said. How does he know? Does he even know? Are they even best friends anymore? What does he answer to this. He couldn’t finish his thought so he blurted out. “Well, it kinda is” shit. Did he just admit his crush on Mike. After all this time of keeping it to only himself he finally said it. Just not how he thought he’d say it. “What?” Mike said. Mike was real fuckin confused. “What do you mean by that?” Mike asked. “I LIKE YOU BUT NOT LIKE A FRIEND. I HAD A CRUSH ON YOU FROM AS FAR AS I CAN THINK. I CANT REMEMBER A MOMENT I DIDNT HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU. BUT NOW THAT YOU’RE SUCH A DICK I’D DEFINITELY RETHINK IF THIS ISNT THE FIRST MOMENT I REMEMBER. I HONESTLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE. SO LAUGH AT ME IF YOU WANNA! GO ON!” Will said. He was so angry and said. Basically hundreds of tears came out of Wills eyes. Mike didn’t respond. Mike hugged Will. “Everything is okay. I’m sorry. I’m so fucking sorry.” Mike said in his special “Will voice”.
“For what? And what’s that gonna change about the fact that youve been a complete asshole to me for weeks!” Will said shoving Mike away from him. “What if I told you..” Mike said. “Tell me what?!” Will said. Will just wants to be alone and crying in his bedroom. Mike didn’t respond. He walked closer to Will. Mike grabbed Will by his shirt and pulled him in a kiss. Before Will realized what just happened he kissed back. If he has the opportunity he should go for it. But when he realized what happend he shoved Mike away. “What the actual fuck!?” Will asked in a horrified tone. “I……… I DONT FUCKING KNOW EITHER I WAS JUST SO CONFUSED THAT YOU LIKE ME BACK- THAT YOU LIKE ME!” Mike screamed “Back?” Will asked hopeful that Mike may meant it. “Uhm Will I’m really bad at this.. But I’m gonna have to admit it. I can’t lose you. But yes. I like you. Also not as a friend” Mike said. Mike would never say that. “Are you really Mike?” Will asked. “Yes? Are you ok Will?” Mike asked. “NO IM NOT! YOU LIKE ME BACK! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW” Will screamed. “Don’t worry you don’t have to do anything” Mike said while pulling Will in for a kiss. All the emotions from the last years were put into the kiss. Will melted in the kiss. He didn’t know if he should forgive Mike or not. But it didn’t matter at the moment. The only thing that matter was that they both have feelings for eachother. That was all that mattered. Mike broke the kiss. “Will, please forgive me.” “Only if you tell El that it’s really over.” Will replied. “I will. I would do anything for you to forgive me” Mike said in his speacial voice for Will. And the first time today Will actually smiled. Like- Really smiled. “Wanna have a sleepover?” Mike asked. “Of course Mike” Will said. “We should probably get to Lucas” Will said laughing. “Yeah we should probably get to Lucas” They walked to Lucas. “Where have you guys been?” Lucas asked. “We made out- I MEAN UP” Mike said. Will giggled. This was probably his first laugh of the year. “My mum called I gotta go. Sorry” Lucas said. “We can play sometime else” “No problem. See you sometime” Mike and Will said. “
Lucas left which made Mike and Will be alone.
“So……. We’re alone now. Can you please call El I just don’t wanna regret this.” Will said. “Ofc Will!” Mike said. “Let’s call her”
Mike called El.
“Mike?” El asked. “Yea, hi El.” Mike replied. “He is definitely gonna beg you to forgive him” Max said a lot quieter than El. “Well, no. I was actually gonna tell you something else” Mike said. This is awkward. “What is it?”.
“Well, I kind of wanted to do the opposite. I wanted to clarify that I’m not going to get back with you.” Mike said. “Why did you suddenly get to that thought? I thought we were happy.” El said. You could hear that she was pissed. And sad.
“Should I tell you the hole thing?” Mike asked. He tried to be honest but he really didn’t want her to say yes. “Yes. Ofc” El said. God damnit.
“So I kind of thought I liked you more than a friend but I was actually just trying to pull my feeling for someone else back” Mike said honestly. “Who is that someone? Why are they better than me?” El said in a passive aggressive way. “Im not breaking up with you because you’re not good enough. It is because…” Mike said. He was definitely not happy for having to breakup with her and come out to her rn.
“Why?” El asked. She sounded more and more aggressive. “Because I’m .. gay” Mike said. “IM SHOCKED! WTF IS GOING ON?” Max yelled from the back.
“What’s gay” El asked. “Its that someone has romantic feelings for girls when they’re a girl and for boys when they’re a boy” Mike said.
“Oh. I’m gay too” El said.
“I honestly don’t know wtf is going on in here” Will said. “Ur here too?” Max asked. “Yes he is. Anyway. Why are you gay El?” Mike said.
“Because I like Max.” El said. “Fuck” Max said. They were busted. “Wait… did you break up with me because……” Mike said.
“NO! OFC NOT! I thought I could be with you and Max. Like Max is with me and Lucas. I only dumped your ass cause you were annoying.” El said. “So anyway… who is this guy you just dumped El for?” Max asked. “El deserves to know” she added
“I didn’t even dump her! She broke up with me!” Mike said. “Still” El and Max said “okay fine … Its Will!” Mike said.
“OMG I GOTTA CALL LUCAS THIS IS REAL TEA” Max said.
“Anyway” Mike said and hang up. “Let’s go to my room” Mike said. They went to Mike’s room and layed down on Mike’s bed. They started cuddling and holding hands. Will felt absolutely amazing. “Night Mike” Will Said with a big smile on his face.
