Yesterday night Remus Lupin and the rest of his band has been seen in front of a studio, smocking will these announce a new album? After everything that happened to the singer, everyone thought it was going to take more than 5 years before a new album. But his divorce was a year ago. Some people hope all the songs won't be sad and the band will stay in their usual punk touch...
Remus stopped reading what was after. James was smiling at him 'the plan worked, they saw us, now we just have to make our music the greatest and impress everyone'.
'Why does that seem so easy when you say it?' Remus smirked and James laughed. Marlene finished preparing her guitar and smiled at the answer too. Peter was playing drums in the studio and couldn't hear unfortunately but Remus is a 100% sure he would have laughed.
'After all the drama we made, Any kind of music could please them' Marlene said with a comforting smile. Remus always had been kind of scared. Not scared more anxious. But he's never gonna admit it.
He was sitting on that couch he's been sitting on for the last few years making the best songs they could. Every album is a new kind of music.
Remus was anxious about people's reaction. In fact this album was more poetic, less loud and more meaningful. He hoped the people could get it.
But actually they are only here for one song. A single. The album wasn't written yet.
After everyone was ready to make the album they made a circle and all hugged each others. That was his family. That was his home. No one could take that away from him.
Remus smiled at his little team. They all registered their part the last week. Now it was his part. They had all day to register him singing.
After a moment of breathing, giving a look at his friends all smiling and making thumbs up. Remus smiled to himself. He can do it. His voice was still a bit craking but he could make it. Scars won't make him stop from singing.
He started his song.

Sirius pov:
'I can't believe it only took Remus a year after his divorce, those months in the hospital and the trial, to come back with a new album or single!' Mary was so excited, which was pretty valid, the Marauders were her favourite band. 'And have you seen Remus? Oh my god, he could so many things to me and I would say yes'
Sirius smiled 'Yeah, in your dreams maybe. But I'm prettier than you MacDonald, I'm the first in line for him' and Mary laughed. She knew how Sirius was obsessed with the singer since... Well for ever.
'Do you think he'll come to the red carpet for the music awards? Damn if we see him that would-' Mary began to talk before someone approached them.
'He's coming in fact, his band is coming.. Please don't embarrass me, Remus is a friend of mine don't forget' Lily said with a smirk, obviously joking knowing none Sirius or Mary could actually talk to Remus at all.
Mary could actually never talk to him, she's too much into her girlfriend, Emmeline Vance. She's actually singing with Lily. They're forming a duo. And somehow Remus and Lily were childhood friends.
Sirius was going to respond but she got a call. She excused herself and went outside. She stared at her phone for a long second. A second that seemed like eternity.
Reggie
Her brother. He's been visiting south America for the last year, without a phone. He needed some freedom from the cameras. Sirius could really understand him. It must be hard to not like cameras and be an actor.
Regulus would never agree, he doesn't doesn't like cameras he just hates paparazzis. Sirius loves them, but she's not as famous as him so perhaps it's not really the same.
She hope one day she'll know what that feels like.
She breaths and answer the call 'Reggie! How was your trip?'
'It's good to hear your voice again sis, it was fantastic! I saw so many things I love it there. Barty, Evan and Pandora just got me.'
Her anxiety went away at the moment Regulus talked. He was okay. She was feeling relieved, her little brother was okay and it's all that mattered to her for the last year. No matter how she became more famous during this year, her bother was the only thing that kept her awake until very late, in case she would get a call that he's on fact not okay.
'It's good to hear your voice too Reggie I'm so glad you're okay. When are you arriving at the airport? Oh my god so many things happenned Reg' She was so excited to see him again.
'Yeah I'm all good, ummm I think we're arriving in 5 hours in LA or so..'
Sirius knew he wanted to ask if she was going to be there. Even tho he doesn't show his love to her so much, she knew she was his big sister and he loved her unconditionally. 'I'll be there then. I'll be waiting for you, the same place I left you okay?'
'Alright.. I just heard, Marauders making a new album huh?'
'OH MY GOD YES, I just saw it and I'm so excited..'
They talked for 1 hours about everything Regulus saw and things that happened to Sirius. None of them finished telling each others everything about what happenned in a year but Regulus was getting in his plane back in usa so they had to hang up.
At the moment she hung up, Mary arrived. They left the studio and went to the airport. Sirius was in New York to meet Lily and Emmeline again after their music video (in which Sirius and Mary got in) went viral.
They had a private airplane so they got in LA very easily and really fast. When they got there, obviously, Regulus made a story on Instagram about getting back home.
Paparazzis were everywhere outside. When Sirius got out of her plane a lot of these took pictures of her and a guy from TV filmed her to prover her brother will be here.
Sirius never really like being used to tell people his brother would be there. But she knows Regulus doesn't consider her that way and it's his moment not hers.
The plane arrived finally. She had flowers in her hand and was wearing a very nice dress. Regulus stood up out of the airplane, took the littles stairs decored with a red carpet, and then his life was starting like it used to be. He seemed happy. His big holidays maybe helped him having contact with people.
He saw Sirius after a moment, he walked to her and took the flowers. Sirius got a big smile on her lips. If this happened a few years ago she would hide her smile because she uses to be very unsecure about it because some people made fun of it.
Then she hugged her brother. She hugged him like he would dissapear in a second. Like she hugged him and they ran away from their abusive house. Like when he had to leav for his holiday. They were at the same place doing the same hug as if a year never passed by.
'I missed you Reg' she tried her best to hold her happy tears. It had been a year she didn't see him. Her little brother.
'I missed you more' Regulus whispered back, a little cry in his voice, but he would never admit he almost cried for his sister, so Sirius took those words for a victory.
After getting at Barty's appartement, they had some drinks and began to talk about Regulus and Sirius. But then something interesting came up.
'I heard you were going to the music awards next week' Barty said to Sirius after getting an other round of drinks.
Sirius blushed 'Yeah well I was in the Valkyries top song clip video so I'll be there' she knew she wasn't really going for her but she was still proud of her.
'Woaw I'm impressed! You definetely have to meet some of my friends there, even tho they probably think I'm dead by now' Regulus replied, obviously looking proud of his big sister.
'You know people that makes music?' Sirius was aware Regulus knew so many people, but singers or bands? That was pretty impressive.
'Yeah, I met a lot of people once or twice, but I can't remember everyone's name really. I know I met Taylor Swift once, a very nice woman by the way, but you know that already' Regulus said as if it was normal to anyone to meet Taylor Swift. Sirius LITTERALY jumped off his chair.
'YOU MET TAYLOR SWIFT AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?' She attacked her brother while the lattest just laughed.
'Well yeah, sorry I didn't think that would matter so much'
'YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Taylor mother fucking swift. I love her music. I even went to her concert last week!' Sirius still couldn't believe her brother didn't know how much she lived this artist.
They kept arguing for the next hours before going back to their respective appartements. Sirius had to leave Regulus at Barty's. He looked at him before leaving.
Her brother was just fine. Everything was good again. Everyone was home and safe. Everything could go back to normal. She could just grab some coffee at the next Starbucks and go back to her appartement before getting a call from Lily about her outfit for the music award.
Everything was back to normal and Sirius could go back to her very normal life-
Or maybe she was thinking too fast. She just bumped into someone with a very hot latte.
