Shawn sat on the bed looking down at his feet, fidgeting with his fingers. Dave was seated next to him with his hands by his sides watching his stressed out boyfriend.
"What's wrong dude?" Dave asked
"Its,, Its nothing" Shawn paused in between his response quickly shifting his gaze back and forth from Dave to the floor, He picked at the skin on his fingers until they turned red. Dave reached out and forcefully held the others hand and gave it a squeeze, he rubbed his thumb over Shawn's hand whilst he held it. Shawn shoved his other hand in one of his jean pockets fiddling with the fabric inside.
"Is it about.. You know? your uh, top surgery?" Shawn froze as he heard the question ring through his ears. then he panicked. "WHAT IF WHEN THEY PUT ME UNDER THERES A ZOMBIE ATTACK AND I GET ATTACKED? OR WORSE WHAT IF YOU GET ATTACKED AND I CAN'T SAVE YOU OR WHAT IF-" Shawn's rant was cut short with a quick peak on the lips by the other sitting next to him. "Shawn, you are overthinking this again" Dave said calmly. Shawn shuck his head violently and went to protest but Dave straddled him and began to splatter him with kisses
At first it caught him off guard (Which is not like Shawn to be caught off-guard, he is always aware of basically EVERYTHING) but after a few seconds pasted by he relaxed his body an let out a small laugh.
"Okay! Okay! I'll, I'll TRY to stop worrying so much" Shawn spat out.
Dave sat up right as he let out a few giggles, Shawn smiled back and adjusted his hat.
"If you want I could stay with you till your surgery is done"
"So you don't feel alone"
Shawn thought for a moment before he decided.
"I'd like that, very much" he said as he gave his boyfriend one last kiss on the cheek.
