Chapter Text
When Andy entered the safe house, the only sound that could be heard was Booker's snoring. With Joe and Nicky gone, Andy and Booker hadn't bothered to decorate the safe house for Christmas.
Andy: "Rise and shine, Sunshine."
When nothing happened, Andy kicked the bed so hard, which was enough to wake Booker.
Booker: "What the hell, Andy?"
Andy: "Got a mission for you."
Booker: "You said no missions this Christmas. That was why the teens left, and that is why I'm sleeping all through Christmas. Something I deserve after more than four years in the jungles of Vietnam."
Andy: "I changed my mind when I decided you should use a page from Joe and Nicky's Christmas book."
Booker: "You are not making any sense."
Andy: "Joe and Nicky are always talking about good deeds, and that is what you are about to do: a good deed."
Andy dropped a big black bag on Booker's stomach so hard that it knocked out the air of Booker.
Booker: "And what is that?"
Andy: "Your mission."
Booker sat up and looked in the bag.
Booker: "What the hell am I to do with a Santa Claus outfit?"
Andy: "That is your mission or, as I call it: The Santa Claus Mission."
Booker looked even more confused at Andy, while Andy looked pretty smug about the mission's name. It was one of the better mission names if you asked Andy.
Andy: "I walked by this store downtown and saw they were missing a Santa Claus. So, I signed you up for that job. You meet tomorrow at 8 AM."
Booker: "No way in hell am I doing that. And you can't force me."
Andy: "Well, tell that to all the children looking forward to meeting Santa Claus."
Booker: "Why do I have a feeling you told the entire Washington DC about me dressing up as Santa Claus?"
Andy: "I have no idea what you are talking about. Remember, it's a good deed."
Andy waved at Booker before she left him alone.
