Johnny Yong Bosch: Li Nezha
The sound of fighting echoed throughout the palace of the Lotus Prince, then suddenly Monkey King crash trough the palace with a spear chasing after him.
Monkey King managed to block the attacks and threw the spear away from him and he saw an opening towards the map."Yes! an opening!" Monkey King said and charges forward to grab the map, but was stopped when a barrier activated, the force of it blew The Great Sage away towards a wall.
"Ow! The old magical barrier trick, I should've seen that one coming." Monkey King groaned, rubbing his head.
"Your pitiful attempts to steal the Samadhi Fire map are in vain," a voiced echoed through the palace, a celestial bring lands in front of the map, twirling his staff.
Introducing Nezha, The third Lotus Prince.
Nesha is a tall, handsome young man with ivory skin, light pink eyes, with shoulder-length black hair that fluffs out towards the bottom, the top half of it is in twin buns that are tied with red ribbons. His pointed ears sticking through, He has circular red makeup above his eyebrows.
Nezha wears a pink gold-lined armor with pointed pauldrons, a red undershirt, and turquoise pants. At his waist is a pink skirt, shaped in a way that resembles a lotus, tied with a turquoise belt. He has gold bracelets and brown boots, each with a gold sole that holds the Fire Wheels. A red ribbon floats around his body and under his arms.
"That seal Is strong enough to keep to protect the Map from anyone whom wish to steal it, even you, Sun Wukong." He said, glaring at the Monkey King.
Monkey King chuckled with a slightly nervous tone, "Nezha, hey Buddy how's it going? I see you've grown a few inches." He winced, peeling himself off the wall.
"Do you have any clue to what you're doing?" Nezha asked, ignoring his commentary.
"I can't tell you that," Wukong sighed, his guilt of getting MK and the others involved already. "All I can say, is that this is important. You have to trust me."
“Trust you ?” The lotus prince looked at him before chuckling slightly to himself. “I don’t think so. You’ve ruined any chance of that long ago”
"Honestly Kiddo, when did you stop being fun?" Monkey King rolled his eyes and charged right pass the lotus prince but Nezha grabs him with his ribbon and threw him far from the map. The Lotus Prince began to fight Monkey King.
"I alone should've been the one to be entrusted that map safe!" Nezha said as Monkey King dodges his attacks and jumps onto the ceiling.
"Sounds like a somebody's jealous~" Monkey King said with a teasing tone, making the Lotus Prince mad.
Monkey King tries to land a punch on the lotus prince but missed. "Silence! It was our solemn duty! Our oath was to protect this world from the Samadhi fire!" Nezha wrapped his ribbon around Monkey King and threw him away again.
"Well something worse came along," Monkey King said and charges towards the map. "Why do you think I need to use it come on!" Monkey King exclaimed.
Nezha growls as he make his spear glow with pink fire and tried to strike the simian down but Monkey King managed to block it.
"Out of respect for your past friendship with the great monk, I will allow you to leave this place safely, but the fire will remain unforged, hidden! The map stays here." Nezha commanded, pressing down on his spear.
"I know you take your security job pretty seriously, but I really do need the map, so you see the problem right? So...."
Nezha's eyes widened. "No..."
Then golden smoke appeared and Monkey King appeared from above blowing some of his hair to create clones of himself as they all jumped on Nezha piling on top of the Lotus Prince so he wouldn't be able to move.
"You want me to leave it, I want me to take it, eh it's toughy.” Monkey King teased landing next to the map with a shrug.
Nezha struggled to break free of the clones hold. "No! Wukong, don't do this!"
Monkey King sighed, "I'm sorry, but it's the only way." Monkey King pressed his hands on the barrier using all of his strength as his hands went through and let out a roar as he grabs the map but it causes a great explosion destroying the lotus palace.
Nezha got up a bit from the ground, injured and looking over at the spot Monkey King was. "Wukong..." Nezha said holding his side.
Monkey King laughed, standing by the entrance. "Look Nezha, keep up the training, who knows, maybe one day you'll be tough enough to beat me." Monkey King said with a grin holding up the map.
Then a bright light appeared covering the sky blue as a familiar cold filled the air.
"Kids!" Wukong cried out, not bothering to cover up what he just said. He stuffed the map into his belt, summoned his cloud and blast off in the direction of the glow.
Nezha growled, gritting his teeth as he watched out Monkey King summoned his cloud and took off quickly back to the city.
"Wukong, you've doomed us all! You son of a-“
"And that's pretty much what happened.”
Sun Wukong summarized with a sigh, holding out the map chuckling before wincing while Mei patched him up, applying antiseptic on his wounds.
MK whined at Wukong's story, lip quivering. "Aw, I can't believe you didn't take me with you. I've always dreamed of meeting The third Lotus Prince! Is he still a child, or an adult? Is it true he defeated Ao Bing at an early age all by himself? Is he cuter up close in person?" She pestered the Monkey King with questions.
Macaque used his tail to drag the young girl away from him. "Trust me, Princess. Nezha may act all stern and short-tempered but he's still just a sweetheart." He grinned, ruffling her hair.
During their journey the group had been pleasantly surprised to find out that the Shadow Trickster had a passion for fashion, get it? Hahaha.
Anyway, they figured it was time for some new looks.
Macaque is wearing a dark blue pants and tunic, with a grey chest-plate that has a pale yellow circle design. He wears two yellow belts over a dark blue and red wrap. His scarf is dark red. He also wears a singular red feather on his head.
And believe it or not, he shaved his facial hair. He figured it was time for a change....Also it was starting to irritate him.
MK is wearing a jacket that is orange, red, and teal, the sleeves have a target symbol on each side. She has teal and red shoulder strap, and a white shirt underneath. She wears same pants from before with a teal belt that has a silver buckle. Her shoes have a black, white, and orange pattern.
"Okay, okay. Gather round everyone" Monkey king said, smiling as he put the map down on the ground and unrolled it, groaning slightly as everyone came and sat around the map "So I know what happened back there sucked-"
"Mega sucked" Mei quickly interrupted.
Wukong rolled his eyes. "Okay Mega sucked, but the old Great Sage had a trick or two up his sleeve.”
A strong wind blew the ship, making it shake and nearly blow everyone away. MK grabbed the map as it nearly blew away, everyone clinging onto the deck, Rumble and Savage stumbled but Macaque held onto them.
"Okay, so you said you were looking for a weapon?" MK asked her mentor.
"Yep!" Monkey King said with a smirk.
"And we're you able to find it?" Pigsy asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Nope!"
Macaque facepalmed, pinching his nose. "Honestly, hon."
"But! This map is going to help us track them down, it's called the Samadhi fi--"
"The Samadhi fire!" Tang exclaimed, everyone glaring at him before Monkey King coughed and brought their attention back to the king.
"Yeah...that," Monkey King said pointing to the scholar "It's most powerful force we've ever seen." Monkey King said in a serious tone.
"Powerful enough to destroy the Lady Bone Demon?" MK asked.
"Hopefully." Macaque answered.
"But what is it exactly?" Rumble asked, fiddling with her tail. Macaque was about to answer her before Tang squealed excitedly and sputtered, trying to hold back whatever he was going to say.
"Fine, go ahead Specs." Macaque sighed.
Tang cleared his throat as he pushed up his glasses. “Legends speak of a flame so powerful that nothing could put it out. Not even the great sage himself."
"That's right. The Samadhi fire burned out of control. The only way to contain it was by splitting it into three pieces, scattering them so the flame could never be reformed." Monkey king told them, glancing at Macaque, MK nodding as they all thought, Macaque's tail flicking anxiously as he looked at the ground.
"So you just tossed around a bunch of fires instead of one?" MK asked raising an eyebrow.
The copper monkey groans. "And we put the pieces into three rings so they'd cause no further harm, come on do I got to spell everything out?"
Everyone looked at MK who looked away from embarrassment. Monkey King eye twitched before sighing again.
”And now the Lady Bone Demon has the staff and your powers she's too much for us to handle," He rubbed his arm nervously, he felt his husband rubbed his shoulder comfortably.
"If we don't stop her, she's going to destroy...well, everything."
"So, find the rings, combine them and then what?" Sandy asked, making the others jump, Mo sitting on his shoulder happily. "You said the fire of some-what-si couldn't be controlled" Sandy said.
"It's the Samahdi fire" Monkey king corrected.
"Hey, if Monkey King thinks this can work, then it'll work, we can do this!" MK said encouraging them, making everyone smile.
"Yeah!" The twins agreed, Wukong wrapped his arms around them, ruffling their hair. "Yeah, that's more like it!"
Macaque chuckled, he suddenly frowned when his six ears perked up, listening.
Savage looked up to the older demon. "Father, what's wrong?"
Macaque's eyes widened. "Everyone, get down!!" Right as a blast hit the side of the airship. The ship jolted forwards as the blast hit, smoke and shrapnel spewing over the deck, as the gang looked up to where the attack came from.
"Bravo! Bravo! What an extraordinary brave little girl you are," The mayor landed, clapping his hands. Wukong snarled at the mayor immediately, his fur standing on end as he heard Macaque snarl too, along with the twins.
"But I'm afraid this journey must come to an end."
"Guys get us out of here!" MK shouted as Tang, Pigsy, Sandy and Mei nodded, quickly running to the controls.
"Get out of here, kid, We'll handle this guy." Macaque said, summoning his staff. MK shook her head, standing by their side.
"No way, I don't need the staff to whoop this guy's a**" She said before getting into a fighting stance.
The fake mayor cackled, "Well by all means, take your best shot, little girl." He taunted MK to attack him.
MK growled before charging towards him, ignoring Monkey King's protest. They fought for a while, she attempted to kick him but he grabbed her by her leg. She gasped before she's sent back flying, screaming.
"No!" Macaque quickly jumped up and caught her in his arms before she went overboard. "You okay kid?"
MK groans, rubbing her sore arm. "Y-yeah I'm okay." Macaque turned his attention to the mayor, cracking his fists. "Alright, now it's my turn."
The shadow monkey was about attack him, but a blast of green zoom past them and The Mayor quickly dodged it.
The Mayor looks over to where the blast came from and saw Mei holding her dragon blade out glaring at him. "Oh my..." He said before dodging all of the green blasts.
The iron bar get jammed into the engine causing it to explode and making the airship come forward as it was on its side. The fake mayor gets thrown off and plummets into the clouds below him disappearing from sight.
Mei stabs her sword on the deck so she wouldn't slide off, she quickly grabbed a hold of the twins. "I gotcha both!"
The airship began to dip down below the clouds and to everyone's horror they were about to crash into the ocean. "Everyone brace yourselves!" Macaque called out pulling everyone Into the cockpit.
