Work Text:

*ring, ring!*

For Medkit and Sword's perspective, the medic was stuck with the swordsman just giggling so much because they're doing this for shits and giggles. "Gods, Sword, I can't believe you're really doing this right now." Medkit exclaimed, sighing as his arms were crossed on his chest. He yawned, they literally walked to the telephone booth at five in the morning. FIVE IN THE MORNING. The phone picked up on the other side with a muffled squabble happening in the background. Hyperlaser and Subspace were arguing because they both woke up at the same time and wanted to answer the phone first. Turns out, the scientist ended up answering with a "Hello?" added in.

"Subspace? Why and how are you awak--" Sword got cut off by Medkit as he took the phone. "You're a bastard, you subspace tripmine." The medic coldly professed. "I am not a tripmine, Meddy! I use a tripmine, unlike how you used my other eye in a candy wrapper during Halloween." Subspace assured, an annoyed look on his face. Hyperlaser was there, sure, but only there sitting on a chair. "Oh, that's sweet from you saying that even though you also pulled out my eye!" He yelled out, Sword taking the phone. "Hey Subspace! If you're a tripmine, then why don't you explode?" He asked. "Like Rocket's arm and leg before he got those prosthetics?" Hyperlaser muttered in, laughing with Subspace. "Well that's sweet coming from a mercenary who wears a helmet because he lost his horns!" Medkit muttered in, snickering a bit.

The two kept talking for a short while with adding in jokes, that is until there came a new Phight. So they hung up and just decided to meet up in the round.
