“You have a son!” Wilson yelled as he walked into the office of Gregory House himself.

“Three actually” House remarked while taking a handful of chips to his mouth while not looking away from his medical soap opera reruns on TV.

“And you never once thought to tell me?”

“You never asked”

“You never asked is an excuse used for when you take $30 out my wallet without me knowing-” He walked over and stood in front of the secretive chip covered man. “You never asked is an excuse used when you disappear for a week then reappear without telling anyone where you went.”

Not taking his eyes off the TV House pushed the end of his cane against Wilson. “Can we talk about this during lunch right now is not the best time.”

He huffed pushing the cane back to its original owner. “You already know who Dr. Sterling is gonna end up with you've seen this episode 28 times already!”

“It's still shocking to me he actually ended up with her instead of what's her face brunet”

“You don't remember her name just like how you don't remember your kids?”

“Wilson!”

“House!”

House cut the TV off, groaning as he got up. “Which one of them called”

“Rory”

“Whoa he told you his government- no way that boys my son” He snickered while exiting out the door with Wilson following. They walked towards the elevator as the hospital came to life with alarms, doctors, and nurses running in and out the room of House's patient; something he knew he was going to have to deal with after lunch.

“Well no way you named your kid Sherlock”

There was a long silence as the elevator doors closed.

“No way you were going to name your kid Sherlock.”

“It would've fit but noooo Estelle just had to have it her way”

“Estelle?”

House hurriedly limped to the cafeteria with Wilson on his trail. Once they got in line with their trays Wilson started up again. “Estelle sounds like a pretty name.”

“Why would Rory out of the other 2 call you out of all people?”

“Because he knew you would less likely pick up the phone and go out of your way to make sure I wouldn't be able to once he made his presence known”

“Do you see why I wanted to name him Sherlock”

“It was great thinking on your part”

While Wilson paid for their food, House felt eyes on his back causing his neck hair to stand.

“Oh and there was a message he sent for you”

“Wilson.” House looked at him with pleading eyes as the dots were finally connecting in his mind.

“Why hello Dr. Wilson.”

Chapter 2-

“So let me get this straight-” Wilson cleared his throat “You were married well as far as we know ‘still’ married to Estelle before running off here to America because you were bored, stole a dead man's identity, and continued life as if nothing happened?”

“It's not stealing if he didn't need it anymore” House retorted while finishing his plate. “Plus being here is way more interesting than working in some shabby clinic”

“It was pretty scruffy” Rory added “But you could have at least told us you were looking for better opportunities, I even called and let you know I stopped serving the homeless”

“What no you didn't”

“Yes I did”

“Yes you did well what else did you say in the phone call that I oh so remember”

Rory rolled his eyes. “Daniel is leveling up and nearing the end of his rehab recovery”

Wilson pushed his chair back as his pager went off. “I see the addiction gene didn't leave like you did” He patted House on the shoulder before leaving the cafeteria.

Rory and House sat in silence for a moment before the older man reached in his coat pocket for the forged prescription bottle filled with Vicodin.

“I reckon those used to be for the leg injury”

“Still used for their original purpose.” House popped the lid off and dumped a handful.

“If that purpose is getting high then you can at least share” Rory let his hand out. Speechless House dumped three in his son’s hand.

“Are any of you not junkies of sorts?”

“Edwin smokes here and there but he’s pretty what most would do call normal” Rory tossed the three to his mouth. “If John was here he would have swore us both off for this behavior.”

“Well here comes a nice replacement for him.” House grabbed his cane and attempted to run off before 3 voices all came in yelling his name with the symptoms of the current patient; all stopping when they looked down to find not Wilson but a stranger sitting in his spot.

“Don't listen to anything he tells you, his usual partner in crime must be in hiding.” Foreman warned while pushing x-ray sheets into House’s hands.

“Oh you must mean Wilson, yes he left not long ago- also forgot to mention my reasoning for coming.” Rory turned to his father with darkening eyes. “Mum has fallen ill and despite my intellect I too struggled finding a cause.”

House started towards the hall with his fellows following. “I'm not performing charity cases. You can put the word in with Cuddy and start a file in hopes I get to it in time.”

“Can you not be a selfish bastard for once she is still your wife!” Rory rushed to him pushing past Chase who now stood in shock.

“Are you…House’s son?” Thirteen paused, pointing to both father and son.

“Go on dad, tell your mates about me and the life you left behind. Edwin, Daniel, and the woman you were married to for 20 something years.” Rory now stood in front of House who kept his eyes to the roof. “Tell them how you're going to let her die all because you want to erase the past so badly. I knew you were an ass but dammit why cant you be a man and straighten up for once-” He let out a sharp groan almost hitting the floor as his leg was assaulted at full force by a metal cane.

“House!” Kutner yelled while holding up Rory.

“Talk to me when you're not a wuss” House chimed walking away ignoring the swears being thrown at him.

“You’re going to London.”

“Cuddy help me out here. I know you two are close but I truly believe he’s losing it!”

“I agree with Wilson, I'll let Foreman be in charge of your current case since Chase is back and can help.” Cuddy sat behind her desk not looking up from the laptop in front of her. “Take one of your little stooges as a consultant so I don't have to worry about you bribing Wilson the whole time.”

Wilson chirped up from his teasing grin at House. “Wait, why am I going?”

“Because as much as i’ll miss you, House can't be on his own in the big wide world especially if 2 out of his three sons are addicts as well.” She turned the computer around showing the plane tickets she just bought.

“I can be on my own!”

“No you can’t.” Both Cuddy and Wilson remarked.

“Also apologize to that kid of yours while you all are down there, no need to give him a new definition of daddy issues.” Cuddy closed her laptop and headed towards the door, ushering the two men out.

Thirteen walked up to the two of them as they came out of the dean’s office. “Also House…or uh should I say Slippery” she held back a chuckle that still managed to spread across her face. “When are you going to actually open our patient’s files and not use it as an escape route?”

“Have you ever wanted to go to London?” House winced as he asked.

“I'll head on over and let the others know the news” Wilson left towards the elevator.
